Special Comment: Wars are not an excuse for murder

This is one of those special comments that I really should not have to write. However, because I feel that, some might actually think, that I actually agree with the actions of these terrorists and with the reasoning for committing these acts of violence — I am writing this to clear up any and all misunderstandings that some might have about my stance on this act of cowardice.

As some of you might know, I am not a Neoconservative. I disagreed with President Bush’s decision to invade the Nation of Iraq in 2003. I am, in fact, a Paleoconservative with leanings of the libertarian sort. I am well aware of the fact that some Paleoconservatives and Libertarian types feel that America somehow or another; because of the foreign policy blunders of the past, deserves these terrorists attacks. Let me publicly state that I happen to disagree with that sort of mentality. It is anti-American, it is hateful and it is UnChristlike, if there ever was such a thing.

I also happen to know the philosophy of the Islamic religion; which basically is, that anyone that is not a Muslim, is an infidel and the Muslim religion does say that Muslims are to wage Jihad against those who are not converts to that backward Religion of war —- hence my issue, as a Christian, with that Religion.

Let me state emphatically that any Religion that tells you that killing an innocent 8-year-old boy is somehow or another justified, because of the actions of a Government that said 8-year-old boy has no control over or no say in what they do — that religion has a serious problem. There is a thing called morality and I still do happen to believe in that sort of a thing. I know what our Government is doing in foreign lands and I wish we as Americans could change that; but I refuse to believe that killing an 8-year-old boy is somehow a moral equivalent. Anyone who believes that sort of stupidity is well beyond the realm of normal cynicism.  In fact, I believe that this sort of mentality is reprehensible.

I also happen to notice that the elder terrorist, who is now deceased, was collecting welfare benefits. This is ironic, seeing that the taxpayers who fund those welfare benefits are the very people that were his targets for his bombs. This speaks volumes of the hypocrisy of the radical Muslims.

Another thing that very much annoys me is the statement by the United Nations, that somehow or another the United States had it coming —- seriously? Who asked those nitwits anyhow? Even more reason for the United States of America to withdraw from the United Nations and send them packing to somewhere, like maybe Switzerland or maybe Cuba with the rest of the Communists. Let me also say that anyone who would disagree with what I just wrote about the United Nations would either be a leftist, an Anti-American dolt or both — most are both.

In closing: This is not a call for all Muslims to be deported or any sort of nonsense like that; this is simply a plea from an American Christian to the American and International Muslim communities to stand up against these radicals and denounce what they do and take stand against them. However, because I am a realist, I happen to know that this will never happen. This is because of that fact that, in the Muslim Nations around the world — if a Muslim speaks out against the Muslim of the radical sort, they run the risk of killed for doing so. So far, here in America that is not the case. However, there are those who are pushing for Sharia Law here in America. So far, those efforts have been rebuffed. Here is hoping that this continues to be the case —- for our sakes as American Christians.

  1. But yeah, I have to agree with you about the drone strikes. Our 4th term president, George W. Obama can’t comprehend the concept of blowback.
