Uppity white liberal blog exposes Grosse Pointe Park police officers supposed “racism”

Oh brother, here we go:

Grosse Pointe Park — Grosse Pointe Park police are investigating a blogger’s claim that their officers humiliated African American men by forcing them to make strange noises while videotaping them.

Two grainy cellphone videos, recorded from a second cellphone, were published on a local website last week. In the first, a male voice is heard saying “Go ahead, do your song,” followed by a man calling out something unintelligible. A caption on that video claims the voice belonged to a Grosse Pointe Park police officer, although the man who spoke does not identify himself.

In the second video, a man is shown cackling. A caption claims the video was “taken from a police car,” although nothing on the video indicates what kind of vehicle was involved.

Grosse Pointe Police Capt. David Loch said in a press release the police department is investigating the allegations.

“On Thursday, November 14 2013, the Grosse Pointe Park Public Safety Department was contacted by an individual who said that he was in possession of video clips and a photo of African American males,” Loch said. “The video clips and photo are allegedly made by an officer of this department. The department has begun an internal investigation of this matter.

“The Grosse Pointe Park Public Safety Department does not tolerate unprofessional conduct by its officers when interacting with any citizen they may come in contact with.”

Way I see it; those cops just were filming those people in their natural element. See here:

As I know too well; that race card thing gets played, quite a bit.

  1. I can agree that the race card may get played when it’s “convenient ” however, I have seen what appears to be racism from at least two GPP police officers aimed towards an African American man. I work as a manager of a Grosse Pointe Park real estate office directly across the street from the police station. In August of 2012 one of my tenant of a GPP property confided in me he was feeling like he may hurt himself. I called the GPP and asked that they send an officer to take this man to be evaluated. when they arrived they seemed irritated by the call and made demeaning comments to me about my tenant. I told them he has been a long term tenant and a upstanding citizen of the community for years. The officers stated they would get him someplace to be evaluated. It was not 10 minutes later I noticed my tenant laying on the cement one block down (on the Detroit side of the intersection) I was very upset that all they did was drop him off in Detroit. He is not even a Detroit resident. I called the police again and asked them to come back, this time they were very angry and said to me “Ms. this is just how those people are” I said “what people?” It was not 30 minutes later after they dumped him off three more blocks away that a man lost his life after my tenant and he got into a confrontation.
