Howdy!

My name is Chuck and I live about 15 miles south of Detroit. Eye on the Republic is my blog. I am a former blue dog Democrat turned Conservative. I am also a born again Christian and old school Baptist. I’ve been a Christian for 38 years. I accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Saviour on June 7, 1982.

Why I started blogging:

Mainly because I was of great need of a diversion after leaving a Baptist Church on some very bad terms with the Pastor. I started as a Conservative Democrat in 2006. I ended up here.
