Thank God!: Alex Jones’s Infowars is about to be banned from YouTube

Finally, Alex Jones is getting what he deserves.

The Hill has the story

Conspiracy theory outlet Infowars is one strike away from being banned from YouTube.

The channel said it received an alert from YouTube on Tuesday morning, saying Infowars received a second strike on a video about the Parkland, Fla., high school shooting and will temporarily be unable to upload new content.

“This is the second strike applied to your account within three months. As a result, you’re unable to post new content to YouTube for two weeks,” the alert said. “If there are no further issues, the ability to upload will be automatically restored after this two week period.”

Infowars’s second strike comes as social media giants like YouTube and Twitter grapple with how to handle extremist or conspiracy theory content.

I would like to officially go on the record as saying, that I believe this is a good thing. As someone who has conservative leanings, I find myself very embarrassed by the fact that Alex Jones is even regarded as a legitimate media outlet. Because some of the stuff that Alex Jones promotes on his site, borderlines on manacle hysteria and outright stupidity.

Not to mention, some of the things that he has said on his site are a direct insult to victims of mass shootings. I personally believe if Alex Jones wants to promote those wackadoodle conspiracy theories, then he should do it on his own server, where he can upload videos to his heart’s content. Instead of on a site such as YouTube where all Americans can access it. Now I’m sure Alex Jones is going to scream repression of freedom of speech. Sorry Alex, but that’s a bunch of BS. YouTube is not a government ran site; YouTube is a private business or entity and reserves the rights to prohibit someone of your caliber from using their service. Not to mention the fact that they accept advertising dollars and I’m sure some advertisers do not want to share the same platform as you.

Now if one of Alex Jones is mindless followers happens to stumble over this article and starts to comment that I’m some sort of government controlled person or that I’m some sort of die-hard liberal; nothing could be further from the truth. I voted for Trump and I too would like to see America great again. However, I do not like Alex Jones. I never have. I’ve always thought him to be a crank and opportunist and a charlatan. So, before you waste your breath or your bandwidth on calling me stuff that I’m not. Save it, because you would be dead wrong.

Alex Jones just moved to the “Do not link to” category

Because of this steaming pile of horse manure right here….

Via the LA Times:

If there is anything worse than losing a child, it is losing a child and having people taunt you over the loss.

That is what happened to the family of Noah Pozner, a 6-year-old with tousled brown hair and lollipop-red lips, the youngest of the 26 children and staff members gunned down in 2012 at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn.

In the years since the massacre that shook the country and opened new anxiety over gun violence, the family has received hate-filled calls and violent emails from people who say they know the shooting was a hoax. Photos of their son — some with pornographic and anti-Semitic content — have been distributed on websites.

These outlandish theories, which hold that the Newtown school shooting was a staged mass murder engineered by gun control advocates, have lived until now in the dark corners of the Internet.

But they have gained fresh momentum in the last several months, residents here say, at a time when conspiracy theorists across the country have attained the status of celebrities, and the nation as a whole is engaged in a contentious debate over the nature of truth.

President Trump and his national security advisor, Michael T. Flynn, have been open enthusiasts of Alex Jones’ Infowars, a Web-based radio and video network that has relentlessly pushed the theory that Sandy Hook was staged by Democrats to advance a gun control agenda.

An unabashed Trump supporter during the campaign, Jones says he received a personal call of thanks from the president-elect days after the election.

Although Trump has not spoken publicly about Sandy Hook, many residents here say he is nurturing the culture of exaggeration and paranoia on which conspiracy theorists thrive.

“Maybe it has nothing to do with Donald Trump, but somehow these hate creeps have been less shy about their beliefs,” said Noah’s father, Lenny Pozner, an information technology specialist. “They’ve been emboldened.”

Mark Fenster, a law professor at the University of Florida and author of a book about conspiracy theories in American politics, said the Sandy Hook hoax theory was a response to a Democratic-controlled White House of a kind that often shows up in political extremist circles.

“Conspiracy theories are pervasive in American politics and they target whoever is in power,” Fenster said. “I think it won’t be long before the Alex Joneses of this world are saying that Trump is part of some conspiracy.’’

The town of Newtown is drafting an official letter to the White House demanding that Trump sever his ties to Jones.

Well, the President of the United States might not do it. But, I will. I have removed ALL links to ALL conspiracy theory websites on this blog. I do not wish to be associated with people who do this sort of thing.

Now, having a problem with the Government and believing that things are not as they seem are one thing. But, tormenting people who lost children to a deranged killer….is another. I never much cared of Alex Jones and his ilk, now I remember why.

Video: Alex Jones on Ron Paul’s campaign manager

I happened to have found this on Facebook.

I know what I said earlier about Ron Paul.

Alex Jones’s delivery and acting aside; the information is interesting.

Watch it:

I had heard about this before, but didn’t realize the extent of it.

Interesting indeed.

Chuck Baldwin minces no words about Paul Ryan

I have to like Chuck Baldwin, he does not mince words:

It has happened again. We go through this every four years, and every four years the vast majority of “conservatives” fall for it. This is such a broken record. What did Forrest Gump say: “Stupid is as stupid does”? And wasn’t it P.T. Barnum who said, “There’s a sucker born every minute”? Well, here we go again.

Neocon RINO George H.W. Bush picks “conservative” Dan Quayle. “Conservative” G.W. Bush picks neocon RINO Dick Cheney. Neocon RINO John McCain picks “conservative” Sarah Palin. Now, neocon RINO Mitt Romney picks “conservative” Paul Ryan. As long as there is one “conservative” on the ticket, mushy-headed “conservatives” across the country will go into a gaga, starry-eyed, hypnotic trance in support of the Republican ticket. I’m convinced that if Lucifer, himself, was the GOP Presidential candidate, he would get the support of the Religious Right and Republican “conservatives” as long as he selected a reputed “conservative” to join his ticket. And, by the way, the notable “conservative” wouldn’t think twice about joining such a ticket, either, I’m convinced.

Let’s just get this on the record: since 1960, there have only been two Presidential nominees (from the two major parties) who were not controlled by the globalist elitists. One was a Democrat, John F. Kennedy; the other was a Republican, Ronald Reagan. Kennedy was shot and killed; Reagan was shot. Every other President, Democrat or Republican, has been totally controlled, which is why none of them have done diddly-squat to make a difference in the direction of the country. On the issues that really matter, Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan are just more of the same!

via Chuck Baldwin — Paul Ryan: More Of The Same.

He goes on to say that Ron Paul is the only one; and I disagree with that. However, I will say this; he is right about Romney and Ryan. Which is I am voting for:

Goode/Clymer in 2012

He will not win the election

But voting for anything else is simply Anti-American

…and right on schedule

Alex Jones seeks to capitalize on the deaths the innocent.

It is too bad that Alex Jones, his Jewish wife and children were not in that theater. What? you say that’s too harsh?! Well, I happen to think that publishing that sort of tripe 1 day after a horrible massacre is harsh too; but he did it. So, I figure, if he can be harsh, so can I.

Just my way of sticking my “virtual finger” in the eye of a man who is quite possibly the biggest charlatan, outside of maybe Bernie Madoff or that phony preacher Jim Bakker.
