The only thing that I can truly say is…..

After reading this and after reading this; is…

Wow.  Just….Wow.

Which is why I am so glad that I cut ties with the people mentioned in that first link. As for the second one; that guy makes me look like a saint.

I mean, I have my opinions and yes, I live in my Mom’s basement and all; but man — that guy takes it to whole new level.

I’ll tell you; I have been blogging since 2006; first as a skeptical left-of-center and then, as someone who moved further and further to the right, as time went on — I can tell you that I have never seen anything like this at all. This is what the right Blogosphere has become: A damned parody of its former self. A freak show. 😯

Which is why I tend to stay to myself, do my own thing and avoid the cliques.

It keeps me off the radar and out of trouble.

A funny, Blogger John Cole says:

If your head doesn’t hurt by the end of this, there is something wrong with you. The “swatting” style incidents are still horrible, but overall, it seems like this basically boils down to a lot of really self-important and obnoxious people who karmically and comically deserve each other. And if it keeps Malkin off Graeme Frost’s front porch, all the better.

That last part I underlined was what I thought was funny. I remember that, when it happened. I was still running “ThePopulistBlog.com” and by that time, I just was using my name for the blog. Anyhow, I remember that damned hit piece that Michelle Malkin wrote; with all of the Frost families personal information. I was pissed. So, I went Googling for Malkin’s address and I posted it on my blog. Turns out, she had not lived at that address in like two or three years. Which I found out from, of all persons, a liberal! Anyhow, I took it back down, because I did not want people going to some innocent person’s house.

Anyhow, it was up for like an half an hour. But, the way Malkin’s fan boy’s acted, It was her current address and it had been up for days. Malkin herself never said a word about it; but her fans and most of the blogosphere on the right did. Which is why, to this very day; I am considered “persona non grata” with the more hawkish Conservative blogs. All because of that. Also too, because I got into a little scape with another right blogger once, which they started and I took to another level. That one, I do regret, highly; mainly because the person named at said link’s dead wife got pulled into the mess, by me — by mistake. To my defense, I had zero clue who the woman is, I was out for revenge and her name was there. I had no idea that was the blog owner’s wife.

But the thing with Malkin, do I really regret that? That is a complicated answer. Do I regret defending the policy? Yes. I do. It was an expansion of Government, which means more money being spent; that I do regret. Do I regret going after Malkin? No, I don’t — at all. I find her tactics sickening. She got what was coming to her and my only real regret was not finding her real address.  Her blog is a cesspool of hate, bigotry and knee jerk stupidity. What cracks me up is, she claims to be a so-called Christian. She is, in fact, Roman Catholic; which further cements my opinion that Roman Catholics are not even remotely Christians.

That’s all, that is my claim to fame. If you really want to call it that. I wrote all that to basically say this; these people, that I just linked to; make me look like a freaking Amateur! (and I am too… no professional stuff here man… I’m still juggling the glass balls and trying to tap dance!)

Video: Second look at George Will?

Wow….

On the other hand, Susie Madrak needs to seriously look into changing her tampon.

Kudos to Patterico

For bring courageous enough to call this sort of stupidity here out.

Yeah, I know Chuckles Johnson did too; broken clock is right at least once a day. But he’s still quite the fascist, and idiot! 😡

Yeah, I know, I know…. Pat him on the back one day and kick him in the butt the next… Hey, it’s what I do. 😉

A followup on an previous entry

Now before I begin this, let me state for the record, that this is not a walk back of any sort, but rather a followup to an older posting.

It appears that when I posted my entry titled, “It’s a damned shame” that I did not have all of the information related to what was going on.

It does seem that a particular person does have a bit of a problem; and that problem is hate. For the record; yes, I did check out his timeline and yes, I did see some stuff that, yes, even bothered me.

Let me also state that I am one of the most open minded persons in the World. I even have been known to stick my own size 12 foot in my own mouth during the heat of the battle and I have ended up apologizing for it afterward too.

However, when I see someone joking about one of the biggest players in the Jewish Holocaust and thinking that it is actually funny — that is a problem.  Please Note: I am not a rabid anything and I tend to keep in open mind. However, what happened during that time period is not funny or even something that should be even remotely joked about, at all. If one does this, it does, in my mind; bring into question one’s motives and — quite bluntly, their sanity.

Anyone that knows me and anything about my blogs that I have ran for the last 8 years; knows that I have been a “Tell it like it is, shoot from the hip” type of a guy. However, I also happen to be someone, who has a build-in moral compass. When that moral compass senses evil and wrong; I head in the opposite direction. This is what happened here and this is why I blocked said person mentioned in the blog posting linked to in this blog posting here. I also blocked a few of his friends too.

I tend to make a point to stay out of blog disputes and wars.  But, I do not wish to be associated with those who traffic in hate. Not after what happened to me a few years ago. No way, No how.

Don’t mince words now Mac, tell us how you really feel!

Remind me never, ever to upset Mac over at Macsmind:

Perhaps it’s just that Chief Justice Roberts is a fucking moral coward who should be brought before congress, drawn and quartered. There is no room on the court for such a spineless piece of crap.

via   It’s Official: Justice Roberts is a Moral Coward – Switched Vote because of Left Wing Pressure by Macsmind

You wouldn’t think he is a little upset would you? 😯

Charles Foster Johnson thinks we Christian people are spooky!

I hate to be the one to do this sort of a thing. But our resident pompous asshat has written stupidity again:

My jaw hit the floor when I read this headline. “Center-right?” They have got to be kidding. Breitbart.com has been busily promoting every lunatic far right conspiracy theory that bubbles up from the toxic Tea Party base, including Birtherism. And Drudge Report? You mean the site that has a permanent link to Alex Jones’ whacked-out conspiracy site and frequently features their insane stories? This is “center right” now?

Now while he might be right about the center-right thing. His whole bigotry towards Christians shines though:

Ladies and gentlemen — the new “center right.” And this selection is just a fraction of the hatred in this thread, of course. I didn’t quote the dozens of commenters calling Obama “the Antichrist” and “Satan.”

Satan, Anti-Christ? Oh my! Christians speaking their minds. Spoooooky….. 😯

Cue the music clip!

and by the way Chuckles Johnson:

Sometimes my sarcasm is so good, I amaze myself. 😛

It’s a damned shame

I was wondering what this crack up on the right on twitter was all about.

This right here explains all of it.

It’s a damn shame that everyone on side; myself included —- cannot just get the hell along and work together for a common purpose. However, knowing politics like I do, I realize that there are personalities and differences of opinion. Like I seem to have with the majority of the so-called “right” in this country.

Either way, it’s a damned shame that these two could not see eye to eye and could have worked together for a common good on the right for our cause.

Take it from an 40 year old fogie: this is nothing new. The right has always had it’s spats. Neo-cons against paleo, establishment against grassroots, beltway versus heartland — it’s always been like that. ideological purists versus the rest.

I have seen this all and been a part of some of it, in the last eight years that I have been writing about politics. The more things change, the more they stay the same. 30 years ago, it’s was magazines and articles. Now, it’s blogs and twitter.

…and that my good friends is the wonderful thing about a free Republic. We can have differences with our Government, with each other, with our politics and we can air our differences in print; on twitter, on blogs and not have live in fear for our lives, like they do in China, in Iran, and in North Korea.

I think that those who go to battle, like this; ought to ponder the stuff I have wrote above, just once and ask themselves, is this war worth breaking up a movement over something as trivial as a comment made? Surly we can do better than this.

Not to get all powdered hair and historical about it, but…. Surely gentleman, we can do better for the sake of the preservation of our Republic and the fight to keep it!

Just a thought, from an old man.

A special thank you!

To my friend Chris Muir, who makes the wonderfully awesome Day by Day cartoon.

Chris answered my pitiful plea for donations with a nice donation of $20.00

You can read Chris’s cartoons at his website or look over in my right side bar and check out the latest one there.

Fun Fact: I started reading Day by Day, when I was still quite firmly in the Democratic Party camp. I found his comic quite amusing. I still do, more so now, than I ever did.

Chris is simply returning the favor; I have donated to his cause a few times and even bought ads on his site, until they went up to $5.00 a slot over on project wonderful.

Again, to Chris; thank you buddy! It will come in handy! 😀

Video: Glenn Beck says that the Legacy of SCOTUS decision on Obamacare is George W. Bush’s legacy

I ought the same thing earlier about the Obamacare ruling: (H/T to AllahPundit)

DrewM over at Ace of Spades is just as blunt:

Dear GOP,

This is your last chance. If you blow this, I’m out and you need to be destroyed.

What is it? Repeal ObamaCare on Day 1. Don’t worry about replace, don’t worry about anything else. We will do everything we have to drag your sorry asses over the line this fall, including electing Mitt Fucking Romney.

In return this is what you will do:

Instead of adjourning for pictures and tea and cake to celebrate getting your pathetic asses elected to 2 or 6 years on the government teet, you will immediately pass a one line bill that says, “The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (and whatever statute number has to be included) is hereby repealed.”

That’s it. Nothing more, nothing less.

Since Congress meets before Inauguration Day, Obama will still be President. Simply hold the legislation at the desk so the 10 day pocket veto clock doesn’t start. If other parliamentary BS is needed, just do it.

Then as soon as Mitt takes the oath of office, before his speech no one will care or remember, walk the bill up to him at the podium to sign.

If this does not happen, the GOP must be destroyed and a new party built to replace it. We’ve tried the carrot approach (votes, money, volunteers) to change your behavior. Now it’s time to show you the stick.

No more, “oh the other guys are worse” scare tactics. That might be true but it doesn’t mean you are any good.

This is your one job, do it or join the Whig Party in the dustbin of history.

I have to say that I do agree with all of the above. This is what happens when Conservatives and Republican settle for what they can get, instead of what they want to elect. I will say this, as the resident skeptical libertarian of the Blogosphere; if you all think that Mittens is going to rip out Obamacare, you are going to be in for a huge let down. Moderates always settle and compromise, they never take a stand, ever.

As I wrote earlier; from now until election day, is going to be very interesting.
