Sorry, But, this is a bunch of bullcrap!

Just a little more of a comment on the contraception debate, that I am trying like heck to avoid.

I happen to see this little entry pop up in my RSS feed reader. Now let me say this; I am all for freedom of speech, but when I see a writer over at The American Conservative Magazine write something, like what I have quoted below, I tend to get a bit ticked off.

If Limbaugh had cited Percy instead of channeling any random, dull-witted high school sophomore; then rightwingers like Dana Loesch and William Jacobson wouldn’t have had to waste their energy on lame attempts at damage control.

via The American Conservative » Lost in the Dithos.

Now, I have not the least clue who Clark Stooksbury is, nor do I quite honestly give two flips really; but this quoted above, is why I distance myself from the Paleoconservative right. Because they are in bed with the liberal left. I mean, seriously? “Right-Wingers??!”  that term being used on “The American Conservative?!?” Does anyone else see a problem with that, besides me?!?!

I guess one can expect this from a magazine that is quite known for its Anti-Israel and Anti-Jewish Bias.

Also too, yeah, I know, I have Rod Dreher and Daniel Larison in my blogroll; I did that because I happen to respect these gentleman’s opinions on politics and I happen to consider them true Conservatives. However, if all this magazine is going to do is continue to push out leftist bile of this sort on its blogs; I might actually have to reconsider that decision.

Upon further research, it seems that Clark Stooksbury is a blogger from Knoxville, TN and has been blogging since 2004. He must be one of those hicks from the south, who was against Bush. His blog is a leftist’s dream, with goofy colors and videos of Bob Dylan records playing. Some blog. 🙄

I will keep Rod and Daniels blogs in the blogroll, but I doubt I will be linking to @TAC anytime soon. I mean, calling mainstream Conservatives “right-wingers!?!” That is just asinine leftist bullshit and I am shocked that the editors over at TAC would even tolerate such tripe. I know if I was the editor there, I would tell this dude to get lost.

Andrew Breitbart RIP

I feel like a guitarist, who is standing on a stage and has sudden realized; he has forgotten the chords to the song he is supposed to be playing.

I mean what words can be written about the man that has not already been written already somewhere else?

I am referring, of course, the passing on Conservative Lion, Warrior, and Publisher Andrew Breitbart, who died last night around midnight at the age for 42.

He was only three years older than I am; this is why this hits me so very hard.  I wake up around my normal time and grabbed my iPod, to see what is going on the world and this comes up.  I let out a rather loud, “Yeah Right!” and figure it is another one of this man’s pranks.

It is not a prank.  (At least I like the think that it is not a prank…)

I did not always agree with his tactics, I did not like what he had to say about Ted Kennedy when he died, I blogged about that on my old blog.  I thought it was morally wrong and I told him so in a tweet once.  I was so incensed about it that I blocked him on twitter for a very long while.

However, the man could not be and would not be ignored; at least not by me.  He took risks; he always had the uncanny ability to dig up some of the best stuff on the left and literally would use it against them.  I admired him for that; because you realize, I used to vote Democratic Party and I knew and still do know about how they pit race against race, class against class — all of that — and Andrew knew it and played it for every damned bit it was worth.

====

In this section here, I had some thoughts about Andrew’s death. After thinking about it; I have decided to remove them, out of respect for the family.

====

The bottom line is this; the Conservative world has lost its “Merry Prankster.”  It has lost its warrior and nobody will ever fill those shoes, not even bloggers; because Andrew took the risks and was willing to stick his neck out to expose the left and its misdeeds.

Andrew will be missed by many, including me.

My Prayers go to the family and his wife and Children.

Sorry Tina, But that is not what the Bible says!

Here I go again, criticizing what I know to be wrong and it coming from a so-called Catholic and Christian; not to mention a so-called Conservative blog. I have done this before, and now it appears that I have to do it again.

Tina Korbe discussing how Catholics are up in arms about the Obama Administration’s Birth Control mandate:

Ms. Fluke, I resent that you think women are incapable of controlling themselves, of sacrificing temporary pleasure for the sake of long-term success. You make us sound like animals, slaves to our instincts and able to be used, but we’re better than that. We’re persons, equal to men in dignity and love.

via Georgetown co-ed: Please pay for us to have sex … We’re going broke buying birth control « Hot Air.

Yeah, they’re equal, the classic feminist argument. Trouble is, it is not even remotely Biblical.

Quoting the Word of God:

Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. For Adam was first formed, then Eve. And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression. Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety. — (1 Timothy 2:11-15 KJV)

Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.  (Ephesians 5:22-24 KJV)

This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church. Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband. — (Ephesians 5:32-33 KJV)

If I were Tina’s fiancee, and I saw that she wrote this; and I would head over to Tina’s house, take my ring back and inform her that I was breaking off the engagement. Because when a woman says the word “equal” she usually means “as great or greater than the man.” Which usually means that she intends to rule her man, like most feminists usually do.  This is not a Christian mentality, this is a Satanic and quite ungodly mentality that is usually associated with the liberal left in this Country.

But then again, we are dealing with the blog that is quite known for its Neoconservative political positions and also for it’s quite ungodly friendliness to the Sodomite lifestyle.

I voted for Ron Paul in Michigan’s Primary

Yes, I voted for him in the primary. I had to, I would be sinning otherwise.

I know that Ron Paul will not win the primary race here in Michigan.  I also know that Ron Paul will not be nominated as the Republican Party’s choice for candidate for President of the United States of America.  However, I voted for him in the Primary here in Michigan. Please, allow me the time to explain why.

There are a number of reasons why and they are the following:

  1. Spending: Rick Santorum, Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich all talk a mean game about cutting spending out of one side of their mouths, and out of the other, they all speak of strengthening our Military and of future conflicts with Iran.
  2. Religion: I realize that Religion is not supposed to be a litmus test for Presidential elections.  However, I believe that Religious influence is an issue in selection of one’s vote.  It is a fact that Mitt Romney is of the Mormon faith.  It is a fact that Rick Santorum and Newt Gingrich are both of the Roman Catholic faith.  As a Protestant Christian, as a Fundamentalist Christian and as an Independent Fundamental Baptist, I must unequivocally say that I do not consider Mormons or Roman Catholics to be true born again Christians at all.  I realize that this position might offend some, to them I simply say; I must follow what I know in my heart and soul to be right.  I believe a vote for any of these other three men would be a slap in the face to the Almighty God and to his Son Jesus Christ, who came to save and deliver all from the bondages of sin and from false Christian doctrine; including Mormonism and Roman Catholics.  Furthermore, I could think of no greater grievous Sin than to vote for a man, of whose religion is, what my Religious convictions consider a false form of Christianity.
  3. Wars:   As someone who spent over 7 years blogging against a war in Iraq, of which I felt was very unjustified and quite immoral — I just cannot support Republican candidates who wish to steer us into further conflicts in the Middle East.  This not to say that I do not support Israel, anyone who reads this blog, knows that I totally support the idea and preservation of the Jewish State of Israel.  However, I am wholeheartedly opposed to the continuation of fighting Israel’s battles for them.  I believe that the United States of America needs to stop being the World’s police officer and let these Countries fend for themselves.  Furthermore, I believe that the United States of America needs to stop funding the feud between the Arabs and Jews, which the United States has done for years.

For these reasons and for these reasons alone, I have cast my lot to the man, who I feel best represents my beliefs as an American, as a Christian, and as a libertarian-minded Conservative.  I feel personally that any other sort of a vote would be Anti-Christian and Anti-American.  This is not to say that I do not have some minor differences of opinion with the Representative from Texas; I do have a few.  However, I am not, as some are, to toss out the proverbial “baby with the bathwater.”  Because of this, I have voted for and will continue to support Ron Paul for President of the United States in 2012.

These Statements are true and are a true representation of my political positions and opinion.

Signed,

Police State in Canada: Dad Arrested because 4 year old daughter draws picture of gun in class

This is unreal:

You can read the story at the Toronto Sun and check out Jazz Shaw’s commentary over at HotAir.com.

All I will say about this little incident right here is this; Police organizations wonder why things, as shown in the video below happen.  Well, it might be because the police, who are agents of the state, are trampling people’s rights.  Let me say that in the case above, something like that which is shown in the video below, would be entirely justified, and frankly, should have happened. As a rule, I do not condone violence of any kind; but in this case, I would have a very hard time condemning this man, should he had chose to do anything of that sort.

This, in this writer’s opinion, is the true definition of terrorism and it should be fought against very harshly.  Speaking of which, where is the Conservative President of Canada?  I guess Conservatism means something entirely different in Canada, than it does here in America.

Video: Ann Coulter smokes Jeb Bush and gets it wrong like always

Via Daily Caller:

Here is where Ann Coulter is full of crap, as always; Mitt Romney is as much of a Big Government Conservative or Statist as Rick Santorum, I have written about this Here, Here, Here, Here, Here, Here, and Here

The only reason that Ann Coulter is in the tank for Romney is because she believes, for whatever reason, that Mitt Romney is electable. Perhaps Ann should look at this picture and Video here taken at Ford Field here in Detroit: (via C4P)

and now said video:

Ann might want to rethink that idiotic position, and quick. The man has no hope of being elected President of the United States at all. Now does Rick Santorum stand a chance? As much as I would like to think so, I just do not think that Independents, which make up a good deal of the American voters in the Country, will vote for Santorum. Newt is toast, he will not win Michigan either. Ron Paul will not win either, because of the power of the various lobbies that control the Republican Party. So, it’s either hold your nose and vote for Romney or suffer another four years of Obama. Which would you do?

Video: Kira Davis for Republican President in 2016!

It’s too late for 2012, but man she would get my vote in 2016 in a heartbeat! This is Kira Davis. I would say that I am smitten; but, naturally, she’s marriedHeart-Ache, Heart-Ache indeed. 🙁

This comes via Gateway Pundit and HotAir.com:

This is another reason why I do not support Santorum

I have nothing personally against Catholics. I just disagree with their theology. However, when a wife of a Presidential candidate spouts stuff like this here; I am afraid that I get a bit worried.

Via Washington Post:

Rick Santorum’s wife granted a rare interview Thursday, telling conservative talk show host Glenn Beck that she initially had been against her husband running for president but finally concluded it was “God’s will.”

Speaking in deeply spiritual terms, Karen Santorum said she had been reluctant to throw her support behind the idea because her husband’s failed 2006 Senate re-election campaign had been so brutal. Also, she said, her husband had become more involved with the family after leaving the Senate, and was even coaching Little League.

But she said she prayed on the matter, and finally changed her mind after the passage of the 2010 health care overhaul.

“I did always feel in my heart that God had big plans for Rick. Eventually it was there, tugging at my heart,” she said. “When Obamacare passed, that was it. That put the fire in my belly.”

Sorry to say this; but I happen to agree with the commenters over at HotAir.com, this just does not look good for Rick Santorum. I also dislike his stance towards Libertarianism,  which I happen to find highly offensive. Furthermore, I believe that any person that is running on some sort of a “God Mandate,” should never, ever be take seriously as a candidate for President of the United States of America.

Speaking of HotAir, this comment made me almost fall out of my chair, laughing!:

Religion is like a penis.

It is fine to have one.
It is fine to be proud of it.
It is NOT fine to whip it out in public and wave it around.
And PLEASE do not shove it down my children’s throat.

SurpriseRolling on the floorLaughingHee heeDohIt’s a bit crude; but I happen to agree. Tongue

Again, I am all for a President who is truly a Christian believer. Reagan was a Believer in Christ; he did not attend Church very much, but I digress. However, if their overall reason for running for President is a “calling from God,” then I believe that this said person should be not be taken seriously for running for President. I want a Constitutionalist Conservative in the White House, and not a Christianist Theocrat. The two cannot co-exist; theocratic folk are statists and are not truly Conservative.  Furthermore, many Conservatives, including myself, are totally against radical Islamists and their quest to bring jihad to America. To me, it seems a bit hypocritical for those who advocate the destruction of said radical Muslims to be advocating the Christian equivalent of it.

Not only this, but allow me to float this question as well — at the risk of being accused of playing the “race card,” as it is called:  Mrs. Santorum feels that fire in her belly for her husband to run; now, if I may, why does she have that fire? Is it because she is genuinely concerned for her Country, because of the socialist polices of President Obama — or is it because of his black skin? Confused Hopefully, it is the latter; but with the majority of the Republicans in this race, I suspect it is the former.

Just a thought. Nerd

Mitt Romney is a family man….and that is a good thing

Governor Mitt Romney and grandchild

Fatherhood is as an honor that has never been bestowed upon this writer.  However, it will be long time before you ever hear me ever criticize anyone who decides to take the responsibility to become a Father and on a broader scale — a family man.  Being a Father and a Family man is in accordance with the teachings of the Holy Scriptures and with the full plan of the Almighty God for his people.  It is a plan that I do truly wish I would have taken part in earlier in life and would have like to have had something to show for it.  Sadly to say, that was one of my mistakes in life, that I much do now regret.

Governor Mitt Romney; for all of his things that I dislike about him, his indecisive moderate Conservative politics, his habit of changing his story to fit the situation,  his Mormonism, which I quite simply do not trust — all of that I do not like about him and do criticize him for this a good deal.  However, his morals, his decision to be a Father and an active Father in lives of his children, his moral code — is something to be admired.

This brings me to a question posed by progressive Blogger John Cole:

But what struck me is how happy he looks in most of the pictures.  He doesn’t look stiff and wooden and like the Mitt we all know and loathe.  And I guess I just don’t get it.  Look how happy he is in those pictures on the beach, playing with his grandkids.  If I were in Mitt’s shoes, with a half a billion or however how much money he has, there is simply nothing you could do to make me go through the fresh hell of running for and then serving as President.  He’s spent what- ten years traveling the country eating in shitty little dives, putting up with the bullshit of every potential voter.  I get pissed when the animals wake me up at night, the last damned thing I want to do is get a 3 am phone call and then have to make life or death decisions.  Or get up every day and spend the whole day reading briefing books and making horrible decisions (in my estimation, by the time something gets to the President’s desk, the options are to choose between bad or worse).

Why would anyone in his situation do that to themselves?

Mark this on your calendar, because it is not every day that I quote a progressive blogger in agreement.  Mr. Cole has a point and a good one at that; running for President is a horrible job and the world of politics is an absolute open, running, filthy sewer and I pity the upstanding moral men who actually feel compelled to get involved in it.  Believe me, being a political blogger is not much of a prize either; it is not a glamorous job at all.  This is especially the case, you are seen by the most progressive bloggers as some rich, white guy who is sitting on millions.  This, for what it is worth, is a huge bogus lie.

To Governor Romney, I commend you sir; for having the strength, the courage, and the fortitude, it takes to take the stand that you are and try to run for President, so that you can help your Country.  It has to be love of Country; why else would anyone want that level of scrutiny place upon their lives, on their fortunes and their families?

Either way, I commend the man — because Mitt Romney, as a family man, has that practice down to a science.

However, I will be damned if I will ever vote for that insignificant, lying, flip-flopping, joke of a Republican!
