Kudos to Glenn Greenwald

I realize this posting might just harm my so-called “Conservative credentials,” if I actually had any to begin with; but personally, I really do not care, to be quite honest. Glenn Greenwald is a liberal, Democrat and has written very extensively on the misdeeds and unconstitutional acts of the United States Government. One of the of the good things about Glenn Greenwald is that he is absolutely consistent in his stance against some of the unconstitutional acts of this Government under the banner of the “War on Terrorism.” When I was still a part of the “cheering squad” for the left and Bush was still much in control; Greenwald was a daily reader for me.

One thing you should know about Mr. Greenwald is that the same criticisms that Glenn has against the Obama Administration is the SAME ones that he had against the Bush Administration. This is why I do truly like what he is doing; politics be damned, we must hold this Government’s feet to the fire at all times. Otherwise, they will trample over us, like we do not exist. This is what Glenn Greenwald does, and this is why I am adding him to my “Honest Liberals” blogroll on this site. While I disagree with him on politics; I agree with what he is doing, which is keeping them honest.

Update: I realized after I hit publish, that Greenwald is gay. So much for me being a “right-wing gay hater” eh? The truth is, what Glenn does in his private life, is his own damned business. Do I support the lifestyle? No. But that does not mean I cannot respect a man, who happen to be gay, for supporting our constitution — because now, that is what is important. Social Conservatism is great, and it is what I am; but it is not what I want my Country to be modeled after. Because it is the Christian version of Sharia Law and I do not want that in this Country ever. Sharia Law or a Christian Theocracy.

Video: Ft. Hood shooting NOT a terrorist attack says Obama Administration

WASHINGTON — Victims of the Fort Hood shooting are rallying in a grassroots effort to get the rampage classified as an act of terrorism.

A coalition of 160 victims and family members released a video Thursday detailing what happened at the Texas military base on Nov. 5, 2009, and why they believe it was a terror attack.

In “The Truth About Fort Hood,” victims give testimonials about their experience and express their frustration at the government calling the incident “workplace violence.”

They point out that the accused shooter, Maj. Nidal Hasan, consulted by email with top al-Qaida leader Anwar al-Awlaki about whether an attack against American soldiers was justified to “protect our brothers.” Until his death in an airstrike in 2011, Yemen-based Awlaki was considered one of the United States’ top enemies.

The shooting for Hasan “was his jihad,” Staff Sgt. Alonzo Lunsford, who was shot five times that day, said in the video.

Another victim, Shawn Manning, said that the soldiers at the readiness center “were killed and wounded by a domestic enemy, someone who was there that day to kill soldiers to prevent them from deploying. If that’s not an act of war or an act of terrorism, I don’t know what is.”

“We’re working pretty hard for our guys right now to get them the recognition and compensation they deserve,” said Kathy Stalnaker, whose husband has severe post-traumatic stress disorder from the incident. “We want to keep it in front of the public.”

My friends, allow me to rant for a second:

This above, if anything else — is why as a people must vote different on November 4, 2012. These brave people have put their damned asses on the line for us, to protect this Republic of ours and this is the thanks that they get from this Marxist President? This is an utter outrage and if there was any sort of justice in this Country, this President would be asked to resign his position and if he did not, impeachment proceedings would be started against him.

Now, I am not saying that our President is a Muslim, like some of the right argue. However, I will say this; at the very least he is empathic to the Islamic cause and does empathic with those who use violence to react to the United States invading their lands. I am not saying he agrees with their actions; but what I am saying is that the President feels that because we did invade their lands, that somehow their actions are justified —- or at the very LEAST the President empathizes with this position.

This is a very dangerous place for a President to be in. Even if we did invade their lands; the invasion of Afghanistan was totally justified, considering that Al-Qaeda hit our homeland on September 11, 2001. Whether our occupation of their lands was the cause, or whether they hit us, because of a Christian and Capitalistic society; the fact is, they attacked us first and we replied back with Military force.

I will say this; this attack here is one of the reasons why I believe that Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld and the rest of them made a serious miscalculation about the war on terror. I do not think that the former President, Vice President and his staff realize just what they were uncorking, when they decided to fight the war on terror and just how far reaching it would be and what sort of blowback that they would encounter.

Furthermore, I do not believe that the former President calculated on people, who happened to be Muslim, in his own Military turning on their own Country for the sake of Jihad either. However, now, none of that matters; Bush and Cheney are gone and now we have a President, who will not even call terrorism for what it truly is. I say this as someone who rejects Wilsonian foreign policy, as someone who is not too keen on the idea of a continual war in he middle east for the sake on a so-called ally. I also say this, as unrepentant realist, who see things for what they really are and what they have become over the last three and a half years. Bush created this so-called “Arab Spring” mess and now we are into it deeply.

I also happen to believe that Bush and Co. made another fatal mistake of saying that the war that following 9/11 was not a religious war. It is, in fact, a religious war. It is war between civilized religions of peace; such as Christianity and Judaism and a savage, backward religion, which is quite fascist and intolerant towards those who dare criticize its so-called “prophet.” For those who would say that Christians do the same thing; I simply say to you, the last time I checked, I do not see Christians threatening to blowup buildings or anything for the sort —- for the mere offensive remarks about Jesus Christ or Jews blowing themselves up over insults to the Torah either. For those who point to Timothy McVeigh: He was not a Christian and he was not angry about insults to his religion either. He was a lone wolf crackpot who was angry at the Government. Big Difference! McVeigh might have also been suffering from post-traumatic stress syndrome as well, as he was a first gulf war Veteran.

I said all that up there to say this right here: This is why we have to vote different come November 4, 2012. Because we need a steely-eyed leader, who will look at this situation that we are in and make some serious decisions. Not decisions based on political correctness, not based upon popularity polls or any other of that silly stuff. But decisions made for the good of this Country and the future of this Republic of ours. Admittedly, some of those decisions will most likely will make me want to hide under the bed, see I am not that big on war. But, I will feel much better knowing that Mitt Romney, who I am voting for and praying does win — will be that person in charge.

I pray that the Lord God of the Heavens is merciful to this Nation once again and allows a man to be elected — who believes, what I and many of the people who read this blog —- believe. That America and this Republic are worthy of defending, against enemies; foreign and domestic. Who also sees what previous President’s have done, and what needs to be done, to finish the job —- with honor — once and for all.

Video: President Obama tosses general labor workers under the bus

This video is quite damning to the President. In last night’s debate, President Obama basically said that he was not going to fight for so-called “Low Skill” jobs. Here is a newsflash for the President; a good part of Michigan is filled with people who would work these “low-skill” so-called “low-income” jobs. Not everyone in America has the skills or the ability to get the skills to work those high-tech jobs. There are people, like me; who have disabilities, like A.D.H.D. which affect their ability to do math very well and because of this, we are unable to get a high school diploma.

This video is damning for a number of reasons; first, when he said, “Some jobs are not coming back.” It makes the President sound as if he really does not give care about those who cannot get, because of lack of education; one of these sort of jobs. Those who are on the far-right would say that basically the President wants these people to be on the Government dole. Furthermore, it also makes the President sound like he is basically saying that he is not going to fight to bring general labor jobs back to the United States; and with as many people as we have that are out of work, some of which do take those “low-wage” and “low-skill” jobs — that just sounds very bad.

You can try and spin this and try to wrap it up into a contextual argument or even try to say that the President is being realistic. But, as far as this voter is concerned, Obama just threw in the towel for the average, everyday, unemployed, general laborer. Something that I have been for a good part of my life. Which is why I plan to vote for Mitt Romney in November. Romney might not be perfect, but, he knows what makes this economy work and that there people who do not have degrees, like me; who simply need a 40 hour a week or more job. The only workers that President Obama cares about, are the Unionized workers at the big three, something my Father was, he also wants to tax their pensions as well, something my Father is not happy about too.

But for the non-unionized workers, like me. President Obama simply does not care; Obama would rather focus on the high tech jobs, because those people would be more inclined to vote for him. This is the difference between President Obama, and Governor Mitt Romney — Governor Romney knows that it takes ALL kinds of workers and getting those workers back to work is what he wants to carry out.

Most of the people that come here and read, know that I have been unemployed now for 8 years. Some of that, is my fault; a career change that did not work out like I planned it. But the majority of it is due to the piss poor economy in Michigan. The President has helped take care of my Father and seen to it, that his pension is preserved and that he will get everything that he needs — for this I am very grateful. My question to the President and to the Democrats, as an American, is this: What has President Obama done for people, like me? What has President Obama done for people, who do not have the unions standing in their corner? What has the President done for those who are “low-skill” workers, who are not minorities?

The truth is, The President has done nothing and will do absolutely nothing for us. Which is why, if you are a general laborer and you are voting for President Obama again; you are a fool. Trust me, as the above video shows, President Obama does not give a remote damn about we, who use our backs and our bodies to work. This is because he never had to do it, ever.

I close on this note here: I realize that many working class folk might not like Romney. He is far from perfect, I know what Bush did; and I cannot change that — But, I believe that with Romney it will be much different. So, I ask you, as Americans:

VOTE FOR MITT ROMNEY IN NOVEMBER AND LET’S PUT OUT THE DESK JOCKEY AND PUT IN SOMEONE WHO CARES ABOUT THE WORKING CLASS!

Dinesh D’Souza must resign from King’s College and stop this madness

What an absolute freaking BONEHEAD! At wits endRule number one, when confronting enemies, Spiritual or Political; be absolutely sure that you have your OWN spiritual house in order! 

I know that this blogger thinks I am crazy and I am not too fond of her either; but when she is right, she is right. This blogger called this guy a two-bit fake a long while back. So, kudos to her for calling this one out, before anyone else did. Now, if Debbie was not such an a$$hole, and self-centered; she would be a decent person. I know, I helped her out once, and kept her blog from getting hacked and when she wrote a bunch of stuff about Poland, I defended her right to freedom of speech, on this blog. You think she would return the favor on her blog? No. She thanked me, on twitter; and this was after I griped about it. I learned my lesson with her; I will  never ever defend her or really support her ever again — in fact, she even angered me so bad, that I removed my Israeli flag from my blog for a LONG TIME. I did end up putting it back, after praying and thinking about it quite a bit. But, I still cannot stand Jews, who do stuff like this feckless woman is known to do; especially towards people like me. Truth is, she HATES Christians and anyone else, who is not a Orthodox Jew. 

Just the same, she was right, and a bunch of other people, including many of the right; were wrong — and unlike her little self-centered little fake blonde self, I will give her credit and link to where she brought this fact up. I’m doing what Jesus told me to do; and “Do unto others, as you would have them do unto you.”  Hope she reads this and tries to sue me; she would not get jack, I am poor and unemployed for 8 years. I bet that would look really nice in the media; “Jewish blogger sues white Christian Blogger who is unemployed.” Frustrated

After a meteoric rise in the evangelical world, The King’s College president Dinesh D’Souza now faces his board’s likely questions about his relationship to a woman not his wife

About 2,000 people gathered on Sept. 28 at First Baptist North in Spartanburg, S.C., to hear high-profile Christians speak on defending the faith and applying a Christian worldview to their lives. Among the speakers: Eric Metaxas, Josh McDowell, and—keynote speaker for the evening—best-selling author, filmmaker, and Christian college president Dinesh D’Souza.

D’Souza’s speech earned him a standing ovation and a long line at the book-signing table immediately afterward. Although D’Souza has been married for 20 years to his wife, Dixie, in South Carolina he was with a young woman, Denise Odie Joseph II, and introduced her to at least three people as his fiancée.

Finally, near 11 p.m., event organizer Tony Beam escorted D’Souza and Joseph to the nearby Comfort Suites. Beam noted that they checked in together and were apparently sharing a room for the night in the sold-out hotel. The next morning, around 6 a.m., Beam arrived back at the hotel and called up to D’Souza’s room. “We’ll be down in 10 minutes,” D’Souza told Beam. D’Souza and Joseph came down together, and Beam took them to the airport.

The next day another conference organizer, Alex McFarland, distressed by D’Souza’s behavior, confronted him in a telephone conversation. D’Souza admitted he shared a room with his fiancée but said “nothing happened.” When I called D’Souza, he confirmed that he was indeed engaged to Joseph, but did not explain how he could be engaged to one woman while still married to another. When asked when he had filed for divorce from his wife, Dixie, D’Souza answered, “Recently.”

According to San Diego County (Calif.) Superior Court records, D’Souza filed for divorce only on Oct. 4, the day I spoke with him. Under California law, that starts the clock on a six-month waiting period for divorce. D’Souza on Oct. 4 told me his marriage was “over,” said he “is sure Denise is the one for me,” and said he had “done nothing wrong.”

That second picture is of the woman in question; Denise Odie Joseph II and as it says, that is not his wife Dixie. Now, as for the Movie; I will admit it, I never was really a fan of the Movie at all. I never promoted it, that I can remember anyhow. The movie honestly sounded like something straight off of WorldNetDaily or that sort of a website. I have never been a big fan of conspiracy theories about the President. I have enough “ammo” (so to speak…) with Obama’s record, I just do not think that all of this conspiracy crap is really needed. Not to mention, it is not totally lost on me; the racist undertones of the movie as well. Which is why I never gave it much thought at all.

What is interesting, is that this story is not originating out of Liberal circles, but they sure are talking about it! But, rather, it is coming out of Christian circles — which I find to be very encouraging. Because I feel and have always felt; if we cannot police our own circles. we should not go after the left for being evil. Here is hoping that Mr. D’Souza does the honorable thing and resigns as the President of King’s College and apologizes to those who really held him in high regard.

Ross Perot endorses the Romney/Ryan ticket for President

If anyone would know the score, it would be H. Ross Perot. Because of this, Perot endorsed The Romney/Ryan ticket for President.

The quote comes from the Des Moines Register:

The American economy is stagnant. Economic growth is insufficient to create enough jobs for a country whose population is growing. The result is unemployment stuck over 8 percent for every single month of Barack Obama’s presidency. We have 23 million Americans who are looking for work and either can’t find a full-time job, can’t find a job at all, or who have given up looking. That is wrong. It’s not the way America ought to be.

At the same time, and not unrelated, is the extraordinary explosion of federal deficits and federal debt. In the last four years during Obama’s presidency, he’s added around $5 trillion to our national debt, more than any previous president. This was accomplished by successive federal budgets that each ran deficits exceeding $1 trillion a year. It is this massive deficit spending that threatens to undermine our future standard of living. To pay for our government’s massive debts, Washington’s profligacy, our children and grandchildren will be paying interest and principal on the nation’s debt for untold years into the future. That is wrong. It’s not the way America ought to be.

Even as we have engaged in runaway domestic spending, the country has been put on the path to massive cuts in the defense budget. President Obama’s own Secretary of Defense has called the proposed cuts “devastating” to our nation’s security. History teaches that the price of military weakness always exceeds the price of preparedness. And yet at a moment when turbulence is sweeping critical regions of the world, we are increasingly unprepared. That is wrong. It’s not the way America ought to be. …

For the past four years, we have squandered one opportunity after the next to turn things around. The longer we delay acting, the steeper the price we will have to pay.

Perot is very much correct in his assessment of the Country. Funny thing is, H.Ross Perot was saying some of these very things, about as long as Ron Paul. Like Ron Paul, he never got the respect of any party and was maligned by many, as some old crazy coot. Which, in this writers opinion, says much about our media and our Country. Kudos to Perot for putting political grudges behind him and endorsing a real leader.

Karma is such a wonderful thing

I have to laugh about this little news story here.

A well-known so-called “Conservative” talker and Femi-Nazi, who said some rather nasty things about me on Twitter and also told her paternal Father, who pulled two tours of duty in Vietnam; that she wished that “your name was on that wall.” (real quote by the way…) supposedly got her twat probed at a TSA stop. I say supposedly, because I do not happen to believe a word that this opportunistic charlatan even says.

This is the same woman, who rose from being a utter nothing to the media person that she is, with the help of the St. Louis Tea Party. Once she was established, she kicked the St. Louis Tea Party to the curb and lent her support to an establishment candidate. Another thing about her so-called Conservatism; don’t be fooled, ask her if she spanks her children; her answer will shock you.

Furthermore, this woman; I will not mention her name, because I really do not need her and her brain-dead followers over here trolling my blog. Just like the two hens that work for Twitchy did once, before Malkin hired them — one of them left a comment, that I traced the IP back to North Carolina, where she lives, said, “lick me where I pee.” Gross. Sick —- this woman is one of the many, many, Wilsonian Conservatives that believe that war on terror should continue on forever and that Muslims ought be subjected to special screening and that other should not; in other words, segregated lines at the airport, by race. How ironic is it, that when she is treated like a terrorist herself, she takes to twitter and screams, “They are violating my rights! Crying”  The irony there is amazing.  Doh

Furthermore, she is one of the many wilsonian conservatives who believe that torture of terrorist suspects is perfectly fine and urinating on dead Taliban fighters is perfectly fine too. So, as far as this writer is concerned, she gets what is coming to her. That is, if she is even telling the truth about what the TSA even did to her. I suspect that her ratings for her pathetic little show are getting low and this is some sort publicity stunt to get her some ratings.

There is a Christian angle to this too, and I will quote from the Bible:

Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. — (Galatians 6:7-8 KJV)

Jesus said of people like her, “They have their reward.” Right now, this woman just got reaped, in a big ol’ way and you know? It could not have happened to a better person, if you ask me. Hee hee

The real irony here is that this feckless woman tweeted the following:

…and those who traffic in hate, bigotry and advocate in the mistreatment of people who did not look 100% like you; and then end on TSA watch lists, ought not to expect special treatment from the Government either! Loser But she does, she thinks that only Arabs should go through, what she supposedly went through and not white people, like her. If we are going to have these sort of searches to prevent terrorism; then everyone should have to submit to them, including little white bread prissy britches like her! Laughing

Breaking News: Arlen Specter has died

Some sad news to report on a Sunday.

220px-Arlen_Specter,_official_Senate_photo_portraitFormer U.S. Sen. Arlen Specter of Pennsylvania, the Republican-turned-Democrat who played a key role in many Supreme Court nominations, has died. He was 82.

His son Shanin Specter says his father died Sunday morning at his home in Philadelphia, from complications of non-Hodgkins lymphoma. He had battled cancer and other health problems.

Specter served 30 years in the Senate, a Pennsylvania record.

In April 2009, he startled fellow senators when he announced he was switching to the Democratic side because he did not think he could win the nomination for a sixth term in the increasingly conservative GOP. He wound up losing the 2010 Democratic primary to then-Rep. Joe Sestak, who narrowly lost Specter’s seat to conservative Pat Toomey

 

 

I will not write negatively about someone who has died. The man stood for what he believed in. In the wave of the Tea Party movement, Spector became a pariah. Something I know too well about. He tried switching sides, and was not wanted. Spector was from a different era, when politics and Conservatism were not as ugly as they have become in this new era of Sound Bites, and new media.

May he rest in peace, and my prayers to him family in this hour of mourning. Praying
