8 Years….

I observed over on my old blog, that it had been in existence for 12 years.

I did quit blogging, for about 3 months. I came back in December of 2011.

The mind reels…. 8 years… 😯

There are people, that have been blogging for less time than me; who have good paying jobs doing it now.

Not me. 🙄

Since I originally started, which was in 2006, on a blog, that doesn’t exist anymore. Click here for a archive from the wayback machine from 2007.

So, I started in 2006…. 13 years of this….

The mind reels. 😯

As I suspected long ago, Trump’s nothing but a big phony

The New York Times offers a rare Anonymous Op-Ed from someone in Trump’s Administration. A quote that stands out.

Although he was elected as a Republican, the president shows little affinity for ideals long espoused by conservatives: free minds, free markets and free people. At best, he has invoked these ideals in scripted settings. At worst, he has attacked them outright – Source: Opinion | I Am Part of the Resistance Inside the Trump Administration – The New York Times

Shocked? No. Surprised? Nope. It became painfully clear to me, early on, that Trump was just playing the part.

I fried my laptop

It’s it’s been a while since I posted here. So, I thought I would let you guys know about something that happened to me.

Basically I fried my laptop. Yes, you read that correctly I fried my gaming laptop that I bought and was so proud of.

I mentioned on here before, that I play American Truck Simulator and Euro Truck Simulator 2. I even went out and bought; or I should accurately say went on Amazon and bought a Logitech g920 steering wheel controller. It’s one of those kind that makes you feel like you’re on the road and it vibrates and Shakes and jumps and does all sorts of crazy stuff, technically it’s called a forced feedback steering wheel.

that’s right, fried my laptop…. totally screwed it up. I happened to be playing World of Warships and I happened to be streaming on a now-defunct YouTube channel and all the sudden, it was as if somebody reached over and hit the power button and the laptop went dead. I unplugged it from AC power attempted to Power It Up via battery and no such luck; wouldn’t even power up and so I I proceeded to be hit with a severe case of fear and dread and then I remembered: I had an extended warranty on it which was for three years. After a lot of wrangling and running around with Asus, I was able to get the number of the place that handled warranty claims for Newegg where I bought it and I got a claim started and they shipped me a Nifty little box and I put the laptop in it and sent it off to be repaired. I also found out something rather shocking that the extended warranty that I got; while it covers defects from the manufacturer, it does not cover accidental damages and so I now wait to hear from the company that’s repairing my laptop as to what the damage is going to be, meaning how much the repairs going to be.

One of the reasons why this kind of cheeses me off, is because I was under the impression that this warranty covered everything: defects, accidental damage, that sort of thing. Well, according to what the warranty company told me, I did not have that sort of coverage. I was under the impression that I did. lesson learned: read the fine print. What actually I believe caused the poor laptop to have a heart attack is basically one day I was refilling my vape tank and I got a little bit of vape Juice near the touchpad where the button is that you touch to use act as a mouse if you don’t have one.A little bit got close to it and I got it away from it. I didn’t think anything got in the touchpad inside of it??.. apparently it did and it got down to where the motherboard was and it had a heart attack and shut down.

I also want to say this considering all the Ringling that I had to do with Asus and based on the fact that they never bothered to call me back to say if they were going to cover the damage or not; I think my next laptop will be an Alienware by Dell. The last couple Dell laptops that I had, I was extremely impressed with their warranty service; in fact, my first laptop which was a Dell Inspiron 1501. Dell actually sent out a service technician to fix my display when it acted up after I made a stupid mistake with it involving liquid. I was basically cleaning the laptop and instead of being smart and wetting a paper towel and cleaning it off. I sprayed Windex right onto the display! oops, big mistake. I shouldn’t have done that and they luckily it was under warranty which covered accidental damage and they replaced it no questions asked.

The thing that really got me about the Asus laptop was it was only 3 days out of warranty and they never bothered to call me back to tell me if they were going to fix it or not. So, I ended up having to use the extended warranty and the extended warranty wasn’t what I thought it was and now I’m going to have to pay out-of-pocket to fix the stupid laptop. This is not a good way to do business and my next one will be an Alienware. This the Asus laptop has an excellent video card in it ,it is a G-Force card and it is a very good laptop, plenty fast plenty of hard drive space and plenty of video card. But Asus has warranty service leaves a lot to be desired.

So for now I am forced to do everything that I normally do on the internet with my laptop on this galaxy view 18.5 tablet. Something I bought a few years ago and never really used it because it was so impractical to use that being that it is so large I’m glad I bought it otherwise I would be doing everything from my Galaxy S8.

I guess the moral of this story is is two things: read the fine print on an extended contract through a computer vendor and if you’re going to refill your vape tank, be sure to close the lid on your laptop otherwise you could be learning an expensive lesson. 😳😶

Site Update

Hey guys… I’m dictating this blog posting via my phone, because I don’t feel like typing.

I’ve made some changes around here and I wanted to let everybody know that does come here and read.

I removed the Christianity section, I’ve removed the mentions in the media, accusations of racism and bigotry and the Salvation part of this blog.

Here are the reasons why I have removed all that stuff. First of all, why I have removed the Christianity part of this blog is this right here: for one, I don’t believe I am even remotely qualified to sit and talk about Christianity in any sort of depth anymore. I am so far removed from the Church world anymore, that it isn’t even really funny. I am also not exactly lined up with the independent fundamental Baptist Church anymore. I have not attended one of those churches since 2006. Don’t misunderstand me I still love the King James Bible and I still am a fundamental Baptist doctrinally and only doctrinally.

I haven’t attended one of those churches in a long time and I’m not exactly enamored with the church world anymore. Some people would say that I am a backslidden Christian. I disagree. I don’t take any illegal drugs ,I do not drink, I do vape instead of smoke. But, I don’t go to church anymore. So, having that sort of section on my blog here; is kind of hypocritical in my book.

Also too, I will not be removing any of the old postings on this blog on the topic of Christianity. But, I will most likely not be writing on that subject anymore, unless something drastic happens. In short, I am leaving the Jesus stuff to the Jesus bloggers. 😉 😛 😀 🙂

Now as for the mentions in the media section and the defending against the accusations of racism and bigotry section; A lot of those accusations that were brought against me by bloggers many years ago are quite dated and quite frankly a lot of the people who brought those accusations, I haven’t seen hide or hair of them on the internet in a long time. I decided to remove the mentions in the media part. A lot of that stuff was mentions that happened many years ago as a matter fact the mayor of Detroit who answered me on Twitter is now cooling his heels in a jail in Texas!

So, I decided to remove all those pages. There are plenty of people out there who are promoting the Gospel of Jesus Christ even fundamental Baptists doing that and if you want to know more about that stuff, I suggest you find one of their pages. As for me this blog is about politics and the defense against the Marxist Left, who wishes to remove any sort of Christian conservative thought in this country.

Do not misunderstand me, I do not believe that you can separate conservatism from Christianity. Now having said that I don’t believe in a church-state. I am not a Kingdom now theology type Christian, nor am I a neoconservative. But, I believe that conservative values and Conservative Christian values do go together. I just don’t believe that we should be trying to rig the government to become a theocracy, if that makes any sense

As you probably have noticed, I have avoided this blog a bit. I just haven’t been writing mainly because politics since the election of Donald Trump has become incredibly stupid, even more stupid than it was, when Barack Obama was President. Quite frankly, I’m burned out on all of it and I really just haven’t been looking at the news and wondering what next thing that President Donald Trump has said to cause the liberal media to go into a full-body tizzy.

I have also been spending a lot of time playing American Truck Simulator. I bought, as I said in a earlier post; a gaming laptop and I’ve spent a lot of time gaming.

So, there you have it what I’ve been up to and why I made some of the changes that I made on this blog. I hope you understand and one of these days when the stupid dies down and bloggers on the right and the left start writing about substantive issues about this country, I may come back and add my voice to the conversation.

Until then, I’m going back to gaming.

Quote of the day

No matter who wins in November, America is going to face a divide unseen in decades. If Donald Trump wins, he will confront a resident media more hateful than that which confronted Richard Nixon in 1968.

If Hillary Clinton wins, she will come to office distrusted and disbelieved by most of her countrymen, half of whom she has maligned either as “deplorables” or pitiful souls in need of empathy.

Not for half a century has the idea of “one nation under God, indivisible,” seemed so distant.

Trump does a NYT interview with Modow

It’s your typical ego stuff too.

NYT:

WASHINGTON — YOU could hear how hard it was for Donald Trump to say the words.

“Yeah, it was a mistake,” he said, sounding a bit chastened. “If I had to do it again, I wouldn’t have sent it.”

I was telling him he lost my sister’s vote when he retweeted a seriously unflattering photo of the pretty Heidi Cruz next to a glam shot of his wife, Melania.

He repeated his contention that he didn’t view the Heidi shot “necessarily as negative.” But I stopped him, saying it was clearly meant to be nasty.

Trump also got into his schoolyard excuse of “he did it first” and “that wasn’t nice,” insisting that Ted Cruz wrote the words on the digital ad put up by an anti-Trump group aimed at Utah Mormons; it showed Melania in a 2000 British GQ shot posing provocatively and suggested that it was not First Ladylike. Cruz denies any involvement.

Truth be told, Trump said he “didn’t love the photo” of Melania. “I think she’s taken better pictures,” he said, also protesting: “It wasn’t a nude photo, either. It wasn’t nude!”

It’s ridiculous how many mistakes Trump has made in rapid order to alienate women when he was already on thin ice with them — and this in a year when the Republicans will likely have to run against a woman.

You see why I decided against voting for the guy? This here and Amanda Carpender‘s smearing was it for me.

Needless to say, he won’t be getting my vote. No sir. Not me.

Guest Voice: No Change in Foreign Policy from 2016 Standard-bearers

With all the turmoil and uncertainty coming from this election cycle, one constant is already known. U.S. Foreign Policy is well under the control of the international interventionists. The career globalists on the American payroll continue to push for more and greater engagements. Step back and consider the premise. Seldom is there an international involvement that is not eagerly embraced, funded and expanded. Based upon this premise, the record of continued failures is better understood. The systemic decline of a once great nation has developed into a pathetic deterioration of an imperial empire.

See ya bye Miley!

I have one thing to say about the quote below: I’ll help you pack. I mean, this little two-bit slut has done more to ruin her Father’s good name, than any other child star out there. When she did the Hanna Montana thing, she was fine. After that, she went crazy; as in, liberal crazy. It did not help, that he Mother and to a degree her Father enabled her every cotton-picking step of the way. Not to mention the fact, that her Mother and Father basically exploited her, all the while pocketing the money, while her Father’s career basically was stalled. The exploitation of minors is a very common practice in Nashville; just ask Tonya Tucker.

The story:

Miley Cyrus is pledging to leave the country if GOP White House hopeful Donald Trump becomes president.“Honestly f— this s— I am moving if this is my president!” the 23-year-old “We Can’t Stop” singer wrote to her more than 38 million Instagram followers on Wednesday. In a lengthy post that included photos of a smiling Trump next to Texas hunter Kendall Jones, alongside a separate snapshot of a teary-eyed Cyrus, the controversial entertainer wrote, “I don’t say things I don’t mean!” – Source: Miley Cyrus pledges to leave US if Trump wins | TheHill

Farewell, good riddance, see ya bye and don’t come back! Go on and live in that socialist utopia of that crap stain of a County called Canada; where the healthcare system is basically failing, to the point of where they are having to resort to a new privatization of medicine to get money flowing into it again. Up there in Canada, where the taxes are so darned high, that the normal working class people can barely eek out a living. Oh, you say you are rich Miley? You won’t be for long, because the taxes for the top 1%, like you? Well, they’re triple what they are here. So, you will not be wealthy for long, if you do move there.

In the genre of Country turned pop stars there are two perfect examples of how to conduct one’s self and how not to conduct one’s self. Miley Cyrus is an example of how to not do that and a perfect example of how that is done flawlessly and with style and grace is no other than Taylor Swift. Taylor Swift, young women, is the model you want to follow, and not Miley Cyrus and for a very good reason.

The question is:

The question is this: Which of these young women, do you want your daughter idolizing, looking up to or patterning their lives after?
The question is this: Which of these young women, do you want your daughter idolizing, looking up to or patterning their lives after?

I think the choice is quite obvious and I think the readers who do come here, know why.
