“World’s Greatest Blogger Weenie” says he’s a comin’ to Michigan

I thought I was done with this; but I was spying over at the weenies blog; and it seems he is venturing to Michigan:

My hope had been to attend Wednesday night’s debate in Arizona, but the travel plans didn’t work out. So the backup plan is now in effect: I’m renting a car and driving to Michigan, with a planned stop-over in Ohio. This should be the start of a two-week excursion that carries me all the way through Super Tuesday, March 6. I’m not sure exactly where I’ll be going during this trip, except that I hope I won’t be going crazy, which is what might happen if I sat around here for the next two weeks.

Because I am a fair man, and because I do have a obligation to do so; I will simply say this:

Mr. Weenie’s intentions had better strictly stick to his political activities here in Michigan. Because unlike a particular pony-tailed California liberal; I don’t hide behind a gated community and unlike that coward of a man, My family owns guns.

A few that are here in the house:

22 Long Rifle
.30-06 Rifle

(These are not actual pictures of these guns, they are kept in storage, because smart gun owners do those things.)

This is not a threat towards this man at all; however, if said man shows up at my address, which is readily available on the internet; I will exercise my second amendment rights to protect this family. I did not start this nonsense, but I will finish it, if I have to.

If anyone that knows said weenie, and comes around here to spy on my writings or whatever. They should really relay this message back to him.

That is all.

Remember that LA Shooting involving 3 ICE agents???

I thought I had blogged on this, but I guess I didn’t.

A few days or so ago, there was a shooting out in LA involving three ICE agents.

To her much deserved credit, Detroit Blogger Debbie Schlussel has some inside information on that, about how the media is spinning the incident; and some information that not everyone knows about. I highly suggest that you go read it.  I have to hand it to the woman, She does have the sources; I’ve defended her in the past, against people who want to try to shut her down. Yeah, she has said some things that I didn’t like; But, heck, I have said stuff others did not like—- like recently for example!

A follow up on linking and quoting this blog

I wanted to write a follow-up to a previous posting on this blog.  Mainly, because in the video that was included with that posting made me look and sound like I was some sort of a fire breathing manic.  Frankly, when I shot that video, I was highly annoyed and I do freely admit to having a very fierce temper.  I get it from my Mother and Father’s sides of the family.  My Grandmother’s brother, who was known to the family as “Buddy Hayes,” had a red-hot temper than used to scare the wits out of me.  My Father’s side of the family were known for their tempers too, although, their fuses were much longer.  I will say that in my advanced years, I am a bit less prone to, as they say, “blow a head casket” than I was when I was around 19 years old.  I still have a fuse; it is just much longer and is not as prone to explode as it used to be.  It comes with age and maturity.  However, you lay a finger on my coffee mug in the mornings; you might just be taking your life in your hands.  😉

Okay, now to what I really meant, when I said all that in the video.  The phrase, “my thoughts and rantings are not up for wholesale use.”  Now, to the average person, this would be a confusing statement; so, I shall explain.  What I meant by that is this here; I do not mind people linking to this blog and quoting my words and statements, in fact, I encourage it!  This is what makes the Blogosphere go around.  However, I do have a problem with people who use my words to push a particular “Meme” as they are called today.

For example, I made the following comment about a particular bloggers skirt length during an interview:

One thing I will give to the Jewish people and to the Muslim people; at least they are sincere about what they believe and actually act like it.

This quote was bandied around the blogosphere and made some internet news sites.  It is not that I minded my words being quoted; it was why my words were quoted by a particular blogger, which made me, as they call it, “ ready to blow a head gasket.”  I, and a few other bloggers were quoted by a particular blogger, because he had, as they call it, “an axe to grind” with another blog, a media company and another blogger himself.  The man was angered because he was passed over for a job as a full-time blogger.  To add insult to injury, the said media company that owns said blog, hired a woman — who, in the opinion of some, is a no-talent bimbo and was hired for her external appearance.  This, in my humble opinion, smacks of sexism.

What really had this writer ready to bite a nail in two; was the fact that my words, which were a simple, “off the cuff” observation that was never really intended to be used anywhere else, much less be paid much attention to — was used by another blogger as evidence of said female blogger’s morals and sexual looseness.  This was, in fact, never my intention in the first place. What really gets my goat, is that this said purveyor of said “internet meme” or rumor about said female blogger, is under some sort of personal delusion that he is somehow the Blogosphere’s version of Hunter S. Thompson.  As much as it going to sound like I am being an unkind person, I believe, said person needs to find another line of work.  Because Hunter S. Thompson he is not. Furthermore, I find it quite ironic that said blogger would even remotely consider someone like Mr. Thompson as a person to aspire to, considering that Thompson was an ardent leftist and hated everything that Conservatives stood for.

Again, let me reiterate in the strongest terms that I can muster as a writer; I do not mind being linked to, quoted and discussed.  In fact, I find all of the attention rather humorous, considering the fact that I am nothing more than high school dropout, with ADHD; whose biggest feat was managing not ending up in a state prison cell.  Again, you may quote me all you wish; but please, if you are quoting me, because you want to create a false impression of someone, because you have an axe to grind with something or someone —- please, refrain from using my words to further your cause.

I hope that this will the last time I ever have to address this rather idiotic subject.

Now now….

I feel kind of weird for having to do this, but because I am an honest person… I must:

Ed Morrissey, concerned about a tiered caste bloggers society? Actually, as I read Joy’s post it says nothing about Morrissey being concerned about the situation. But of course. What else can one expect from Mr. I’m Only Here To Pick Up My Award (And Don’t You Dare Ask Me To Answer My Email)?

While I know Joy means well — she expands on the idea here — I’m not crazy about the idea of a media overflow lounge where those of us on the bottom rung can be stuffed into with the hope that maybe, just maybe one of the bloggers from on high will wander by to possibly acknowledge our presence with a royal wave before being escorted back to the bloggers lounge we dare not besmirch with our loathsome lowly putrid persons. Blogging is supposed to be about citizen journalists, no one above anyone else and all with something worth considering.

This leads to the question as to whether professional bloggers, which I define as bloggers paid by a corporation to write, are bloggers at all. I don’t believe they are. Case in point would be Hot Air, which is now owned by Salem Communications. Its writers write on behalf of Salem. Their primary function is creating content that entices readers to the site, thus enabling Salem to sell advertising on it at a maximum profit. That’s not blogging. That’s paid column writing that should be judged – and treated – accordingly. Go hang out with the regular media, for that is precisely what you are — conservative (sometimes) Maureen Dowds.

A few things I would like say about this:

  1. Ed Morrissey has always, unless he was very busy; has answered my e-mails.  Further, he has always treated me with respect and has never had a cross word to say to me at all.  Now I do not know if this will change due to recent events involving me.  Nevertheless, I digress.
  2. Ed Morrissey has been blogging for a very long time.  He used to blog over at Captain’s Quarters.  I used to read him over there, back when I was rooting for the “other team,” which was back around 2007.  I found him then to be one of the more reasonable Conservatives out there.
  3. I was no happier about HotAir.com being off-loaded to Salem than anyone else.  I have never liked the idea of media consolidation at all.  Mostly because I felt that, the writers there would lose their independent voice.  However, so far, I have not really noticed that there has been any corporate change in the tone of the blog.  AllahPundit is still — AllahPundit and Ed is still the little bald-headed beauty that he was before at his old blog.  I think so anyhow; I have not noticed that corporate paychecks have changed either of them, not that I can see.
  4. As for Tina, her skirt choices aside, I really do not have any objection to her writings.  They are, admittedly, a bit fluffy — But I have not seen anything that made me want to wretch yet.

Now as for the whole thing about the blogosphere being a meritocracy, as Mr. McCain put it.  One of my biggest gripes about the Blogosphere is this here; some people take this Blogging gig waaaaaaaaaaaaay too seriously.  Ladies and Gentleman, I am just going to tell you the God’s truth.  I have been writing on some form of a blog or another since 2006; and I really do not see myself as anything other than a guy with a bit of an opinion, which has changed over the past 7 years —- and a internet connection and a laptop.  Because frankly, that is all bloggers truly are.  I am not a journalist, I am not a lawyer, and I am not an expert at anything at all.  I am just someone who seems to have a decent grip on the English language and grammar — although I grip it much better with Microsoft Word — and happens to have opinion about the direction of my Country, which frankly now sucks!

As for the CPAC conference, I have never been to it.  I would like to able to register and attend one day.  However, like the person that I quoted above, my fiscal situation here has not been a good one.  Get a job, you say?  I have an answer for that — find me one and I will take it.  My point is this here; if I were actually able to attend CPAC — hell, I would be happy to be allowed in the building!  I would not walk in with the attitude that I was entitled to be treated with some sort of rock star or blogger superstar treatment —- because I am nothing more than a freelance writer, with the emphases on the word FREE!  One thing I am not and that is a prima donna, there are bloggers who are like that and act like that; I am not one of them.  I also am not much into the suit and tie thing either.  I am not an executive, as in the rich, cigar type.  I am your average t-shirt and jeans kind of person.  I would be happily content to have a little space to sit and cover said conference.

On closing, let me say this; I am very grateful.  Truly, I am.  I am grateful that God has given me the ability to write.  I am also quite grateful that God has given me the ability to read and understand what it is that I actually read.  My Father, who is 66 years old, has about an 8th grade education and really does not read that well at all.  I have to do a good deal of reading for my Dad and this will even get worse as time goes on.  It is something that many of us, including those who happen to read this, take very much for granted.  Therefore, next time you go to compose a post, think of this what I have told you and say a small prayer of thanks.

As a fitting ending to this, I include a video that I happen to like a good deal. It is a song by Johnny Cash, called “The Man in Black.” For all intents and purposes, you could call me, “The Blog in Black.” Enjoy the video.

Blog in Black

(with respect to Johnny Cash)

Well, you wonder why I always Blog in black,
Why you never see bright colors on my site,
And why does my writings seem to have a somber tone.
Well, there’s a reason for the things that I put on.

I blog the black for the poor and the beaten down,
Livin’ in the hopeless, hungry side of town,
I blog for the prisoner who has long paid for his crime,
But is there because he’s a victim of the times.

I blog black for those who never read,
Or listened to the words that Jesus said,
About the road to happiness through love and charity,
Why, you’d think He’s talking straight to you and me.

Well, we’re doin’ mighty fine, I do suppose,
In our streak of lightnin’ ‘puters and fancy clothes,
But just so we’re reminded of the ones who are held back,
Up front there ought ‘a be a blog In Black.

I blog for the sick and lonely old,
For the reckless ones whose bad trip left them cold,
I blog black in mournin’ for the lives that could have been,
Each week we lose a hundred fine young men!

And, I blog for the thousands who have died,
Believen’ that the Lord was on their side,
I blog for another hundred thousand who have died,
Believen’ that we all were on their side.

Well, there’s things that never will be right I know,
And things need changin’ everywhere you go,
But ’til we start to make a move to make a few things right,
You’ll never see me blog on a blog of white.

Ah, I’d love to write a rainbow every day,
And tell the world that everything’s OK,
But I’ll try to carry off a little darkness on my site,
‘Till things are brighter, I’m the blog In Black.

Amen.

(Update: Fixed rather hilarious typo in first paragraph. MS Word only does what you tell it to. Oops.)

This is the way that politics used to be

I think that this is a great story.

Via NYT:

LAKE JACKSON, Tex. — Once there was a challenge of a softball game from the Ron Paul clan to the Mitt Romney clan. “They didn’t show up,” Mr. Paul says. “We didn’t schedule it. We really razz them about that, ‘You guys chickened out!’ ”

This is the way that politics should be today!

In a Republican presidential contest known for its angry rivalries, the Romney-Paul relationship stands out for its behind-the-scenes civility. It is a friendship that, by Mr. Paul’s telling, Mr. Romney has worked to cultivate. The question is whether it is also one that could pay dividends for Mr. Romney as he faces yet more setbacks in his struggle to capture the 1,144 delegates needed to win the nomination.

Ideological similarities among supporters of Rick Santorum and Newt Gingrich suggest that if Mr. Gingrich dropped out, many of his backers would coalesce behind Mr. Santorum. But as Mr. Paul steadily collects delegates, one thing that remains to be seen is whether his affinity — at least on a personal level — for Mr. Romney could help the former Massachusetts governor as the fight drags on.

Mr. Paul, a 76-year-old congressman from Texas, sees his three Republican rivals as more or less the same politically. He can be tough on Mr. Romney, whom he describes as a flip-flopper with a dubious political core.

“He’s been all over the place on some of this stuff,” Mr. Paul said in a recent interview near his Texas home. But he seems to segregate those views from his personal feelings for Mr. Romney, whom he sees as a steady, dignified personality whose devotion to wife and family reflect his own values.

I would recommend that you head on over and read the rest of that; it is a truly great story of how two men who disagree on much and still are friendly to one another. This is the way that it was back in the days of Ronald Reagan, him and Tip O’Neil would fight like dogs during business hours and then after business hours, Tip and Ron would have a drink at the White House and discuss the days events.

Again, at the risk of sounding like a nostalgic old fogie, this is the way things were done in the olden days. When leaders were statesmen, and not the idiots we have today. We could learn much from these people of old, it is tragic that people like Ron Paul are not more followed in the way they do things. Not that I support all of Ron Paul’s policy positions, but his statesmanship is something to be admired.

By the way, yes, I did give Althouse a little grief on her blog; she is a two-bit phony, in my humble opinion. She gives Ron Paul and Mitt Romney grief for their kindness toward each other. I think Ann Althouse could learn a little about what true Conservatism is from Rep. Paul. Because it is surely not what she pawns off as Conservative; that is for sure. Sorry, but voting for a liberal socialist Democrat is not conservative, not even close.

Oh boy: My critism of HotAir.com’s going Ann Coulter goes viral.

When I mentioned a particular lady’s skirt length, I never thought it would go viral. 😯

Well, It did. 🙄

To be fair, I was not the only person who noticed.

As for that other subject; I’ve said all I am going to about that.

Something tells me that Olbermann is going to mention this. I feel it.

Update: My original post just made politico. Whoo Boy… something tells me the next few days around here is going to be a swamp. …or at the least, a very deep creek! Anyone, got a paddle? Anyone? Beuller? Beuller? HALP! 😀 Luckily for me, I’m on reseller hosting with a decent host. If Drudge links in, I might be in some deep doo-doo though.

Okay, McCain, you win. I still don’t trust you no further than I could throw your scrawny, Fedora-wearing butt. But, (bu-bu-bu-but??!?) I’m grateful (so far!) for the major leap in traffic around here. I mean, politico? Holy hell.   Them quoting me; is like the Republican Party using David Duke as a spokesman.  It….just….doesn’t…feel….right. 😯

Oh, and Tina? Me too, Okay? I was not trying to insinuate that you were sexually loose or anything. I was simply saying not to do the “Ann Coulter look” thing. Hopefully, no one, including her; thought I was inferring such a thing.

Needless to say; I’m feeling like Snoopy, again…. *gulp*

Update #2: Susan Duclos calls me the Fashion Police and a prude. heh. Gee, does this mean I cannot post Bikini pictures here anymore? 😉

Update #3: Dr. Melissa revisits the controversy and says:

Oh, and since I’ve irritated everyone, I’ll address the social behavior in another post.

She irritated everyone? Heck, I’m the one who said she was showing off her “Hoo Hah.” (Tina! Not Dr. Melissa…)

Oh and I made Memeorandum, finally with the new blog. Yay! Thanks McCain… bunches. 😛

I kind of feel awful for having to do this, but, if this gets any worse, I might have to get better hosting. So, Hit the jar, please, if you can:

UPDATED: No War. But no friends either.

There used to be a rather angry post here about this guy.

Update: I have covered this great detail here, which resulted in my unlinking by some of RSM’s friends. As I suspected, I was being used as a pawn, in a grudge spat between this guy and Ed Morrissey.  Which is why RSM sent me the traffic in the first place. Ed Morrissey informed me on his program today, that he has no problem with me at all. Which is pretty cool, considering I did offer a critique of one of his co-bloggers, which went viral and was used by said blogger to try and say that Tina was a untalented bimbo slut; which did not go over well with me at all. 😡

I’ve learned a bit from this mistake; I know now not to trust anyone in this Blogosphere; and I also won’t be linking carelessly anymore. I thought the little spat between me and McCain was over. But it turns out, he was just using me as a pawn. Charles Johnson might be wrong about the Anti-Jihadi bloggers, but he is right on point about RSM. This guy’s history is much, much more colorful than mine ever was. The worst thing I’ve ever been guilty of, is popping off about some American Jews, who I disagreed over foreign policy with. I’ve never been a member of any neo-Confederate organizations, nor have I written for any White Nationalist magazines either. I admit it, I’ve had ONE account at stormfront.org and it was for research purposes; and I don’t even have posting access to it any longer. Because the stormfronter’s figured out I was not down with their idiotic beliefs.

What bugs me, is the fact that the “right” Blogosphere simply glosses over this stuff. It is sicking. Needless to say; from this moment forward, I’m gonna be real careful who and where I link to; because quite bluntly, I don’t need the troubles.

I have a strange new respect for Alan Dershowitz

I am very glad to see that someone on the left is taking a stand against the far leftists in the Democratic Party.

Unfortunately, I cannot embed the sound clip here, but I suggest that you go over and listen to the interview. (Hat Tip to Andrew Brietbart)

Here’s the story over at the Daily Caller:

Media Matters could become the Rev. Jeremiah Wright of 2012 for the Obama campaign if the White House and the Democratic Party don’t clearly distance themselves from the organization.

“Well I think if swing voters in the pro-Israel community had any idea how extreme Media Matters was on issues of Israel and supporters of Israel, they would regard Media Matters as another, you know, Rev. Wright,” Dershowitz told The Daily Caller.

“And for many, many in the pro-Israel community, it would be a game changer.”

Dershowitz went so far as to suggest that Media Matters’s rhetoric on Israel, particularly from Media Matters Action Network senior fellow M.J. Rosenberg, is similar to what one would find on a neo-Nazi website.

“When I started reading their stuff it sounded like the kind of stuff you see on neo-Nazi websites,” Dershowitz said. “Or on Hezbollah-supporter websites. It is so extremist. The thing that shocked me is that anybody regarded it as mainstream.”

Media Matters did not respond to a request by TheDC for comment.

Dershowitz said he is not on Media Matters’s email list and is only aware of the language they use when discussing Israel and Israel’s supporters because of emails sent to him from what he identifies as a neo-Nazi website, ReportersNotebook.

“You know where I get their stuff? I read their stuff mostly on a neo-Nazi website that sends it to me,” he explained. “Somehow I am on their mailing list. I am not on Media Matters’s mailing list. But I tend to read Media Matters articles when they’re sent to me by a neo-Nazi website.”

The man behind ReportersNotebook, Michael Santomauro, denied that his email or blog is neo-Nazi in orientation, though he admits to questioning the narrative of the Holocaust and says he believes that Israel is a fascist state.

Though Dershowitz says he doesn’t think the Obama administration and Media Matters are close, he believes the White House has to clearly distance itself from the organization because Democrats like him cannot exist within a tent that tolerates Media Matters.

“The Obama administration cannot have Media Matters and me or people who look to me for advice,” Dershowitz told TheDC. “We cannot be in the same tent. The tent is not big enough to include us.”

I did some poking around on this Michael Santomauro guy. He either works for or owns this place here. He has some interesting views on Israel, 9/11 and Jews. He is essentially what I was accused of being; a Jew hater. His little attempt to come off sounding like some sort of academic does not fool me one iota.

What one must understand is this; the reason why this holocaust revisionist was reposting items that Media Matters was publishing, is that much of the far left and people like this person, agrees on their positions on Israel. He is correct in saying that he is not a Neo-Nazi, he is not; he is one of the growing numbers of people who are anti-Israel. This man is, frankly, one of David Duke’s types of people. Maybe not so much into the white sheets and hoods, but the Jewish hatred and bigotry is still there.

Sadly, there are those kinds of people on the right as well. One example can be found here. They call themselves “radical traditionalists.” I like to call them “Hi-Brow” bigots. They are Anti-Religion, Anti-Israel, and very anti-Jew. They speak glowingly of Hitler and Nazi Germany as well. This goes well beyond the Paleoconservatives/neoconservatives divide. This is Ron Paul and Pat Buchanan’s philosophy on steroids. They are in the same camp as Lew Rockwell and his ilk. Haters they are; and somehow they claim to be the “real” libertarians and those at places like Reason magazine are the phonies.

I was very reluctantly put the libertarian and constitutionalist party’s logos back on my blog, after disowning the GOP’s candidates; this here, of what I have written, is the main reason of that reluctance. Because there are just some within the libertarian ranks that are just straight up haters, and as I have written before, I just cannot deal with that nonsense. Further, the people that I have written of here are still fighting a battle that we lost long ago. What they are fighting against, is the elimination of the White Anglo-Saxon Protestant class of man. The problem is, we WASP’s for short; lost that battle eons ago. What bothers me is the fact that these people actually believe that hatred is going to change anything.

Hating on Jews, blacks and Latinas are not going to make them ago away. It is simply going to make you look like some paranoid idiot that fears those that do not look, act or have the money that you do. Maybe it is because I happen to be a Christian myself, is why I never quit understood the rational of these people; or it is because I grew up here in Michigan and was raised not to judge people by the color of their skin.

Maybe it is because I was born with something that seems to be lacking among these people — common sense.

Open Message to Bill Donahue: Where is the fatwa on Nicki Minaj?

I am shocked he did not issue one, after this asinine performance:

21221223435 by YardieGoals

Gateway Pundit calls this “brave.” What a fool. 😡

Rod Dreher says it is part of the Anti-Christian and Anti-Catholic culture in America. Which is very true.

Dreher also says this:

It’s tiresome when Christians respond to things like this by saying, “They would never consider doing something like using Islāmic imagery.” But you know, it’s true. It’s always true. Let those with eyes to see.

Amen to that; and it is true, had this been a song mocking the religion of Islam. This young woman would be either in hiding wishing she was dead or would be dead. It is too bad that Bill Donahue, who did issue a statement about the performance, which I feel was totally inadequate for the scope of mockery here — did not issue a fatwa against this woman. I mean, it should have read something to the effect of, “The Catholic League will pay someone 1 million dollars, if someone will take this little black mocker of God out.” I believe it would have caused an uproar, but it would have gotten her and her managements attention.

A few days ago, Whitney Houston died of unknown causes. At the moment I found out, I thought, “How unfair.” For all Whitney’s problems and personal issues; she was still a wonderful talent that had so much more to give to her fans. Such is not the case with this idiot mocker of the Faith. So, seeing that I am a controversial blogger; I will say this — Here is hoping that this little classless black hoe meets the same fate as Whitney Houston and I mean very quickly. Anyone who mocks religion, does not deserve the breath the they keep in the lungs. This was not art; this was open mockery of Roman Catholicism, The Church, and Christianity in General.

Again, had this been a song about Islam and its repressive Religion, she would be in hiding; but, because it is a mockery of the Christian faith, The “LA CROWD” was fine with it. This tells you how far that the music industry, Hollywood and the L.A. Scene has fallen in the last 50 years. This wasn’t cool, this wasn’t ironic, this wasn’t funny, this wasn’t hip; this was a disgraceful attack on God, organized Religion  in general, the Church as a concept, Christianity and the Roman Catholic Church. Because of this; I found Mr. Donahue’s statement a bit lacking. Could it be that Bill Donahue has lost his edge? I sure haven’t, nor will I ever.

I end this blog posting with this, a Bible scripture that says:

Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. (Galatians 6:7 KJV)

Here is hoping that Mr. Minaj reaps the whirlwind of her actions and quickly.

The truth is, she will, whether in this life or the next; the fact remains is she will face a Holy and Righteous God, and will have to explain her actions. Based upon what I saw last night, this will happen, before she is cast into a godless hell and then the Lake of Fire.

Revelation 20:11-15 KJV:
(11)  And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
(12)  And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
(13)  And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
(14)  And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
(15)  And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

The quicker, the better; if you ask me.

Update: Heck even TMZ didn’t even like it!

Here’s the roundup, mostly of liberals mocking Bill Donahue’s statement: Speakeasy, CBS Los Angeles, Rolling Stone, Big Hollywood, Religion Dispatches, BuzzFeed, The Raw Story, Joe. My. God. and Gothamist
