Want to read something that’ll make you lose your lunch?

Then go read this here.

Those Arab pukes know no shame at all. Here is hoping that Israel bombs that Gaza Strip and Palestine into the 18’th century.

As much as I distrust the current leadership in Israel; I trust the Arab leadership in Gaza and in Palestine even less. Besides, that land is the land of Jews, as promised in the Bible. End of discussion. The Arab pukes have no right to it at all. Screw the two state solution, which the Arabs do not truly want anyway. Just bomb them into oblivion and take that part of Israel back for yourselves.

However, knowing this cowardly leadership in Israel like I do. They will do just enough to disable Hamas; so they cannot fire rockets and then they will leave and allow Hama to rebuild their military wing and this will start all over again. In other words, If Israel is going to do this job, they ought to do right the first time and eliminate the problem; and not play footsie with a bunch of terrorists.

It is a sad situation over there and of course, the wrong people are running the show. Whatever happened to eliminating your enemies?

Some idiot at TechCrunch is not pleased.

Wonder if they would feel the same way if Palestine were doing it? Even better, wonder if they would feel the same way, if Obama were doing it.

It is to wonder.

Update: Yes, I know what I posted here. There is a grand canyon of difference between pointing out a NeoCon’s idiocy and actually hating on Israel for defending themselves. Anyone that does not know the difference between the two; has no business being on the internet, much less reading blogs.

Also too, like I wrote before:

If you are Jewish, I have zero quarrels with you at all; but, please, if I happen to say something you do not like, SUCK IT UP and please, do not wave your damned yarmulke in my face, and call me a hater —-because if you do, I am going to tell you to kiss my ass.

I stand by that comment. I just do not respect, nor do I traffic in identity politics; left or right. I do not do it with the Blacks or Latinos; and I do not do it with the Jews, at all. I also happen to not be too fond of White Nationalists either. Because that too, is just another form of identity politics.  I believe in equal rights for ALL. Special privileges for NONE.  This includes with the wealthy. I could go on and on, but I think you all know what I mean here.

UPDATED: Israel actually defends itself

This could be big and this could be nothing.

Looks like Israel sent the leader of Hamas military wing to see his 7 virgins.

Via NYT:

GAZA — Israel on Wednesday launched one of the most ferocious assaults on Gaza since its invasion four years ago, hitting at least 20 targets in aerial attacks that killed the top military commander of Hamas, drew strong condemnation from Egypt and escalated the risks of a new war in the Middle East.

The Israelis coupled the intensity of the airstrikes with the threat of another ground invasion and warnings to all Hamas leaders in Gaza to stay out of sight or risk the same fate as the Hamas military commander, Ahmed al-Jabari, who was killed in a pinpoint airstrike as he was traveling by car down a Gaza street. “We recommend that no Hamas operatives, whether low level or senior leaders, show their faces above ground in the days ahead,” the Israel Defense Forces said in a Twitter message.

The ferocity of the airstrikes, which Israel called Operation “Pillar of Defense” in response to repeated rocket attacks by Gaza-based Palestinian militants, provoked rage in Gaza, where Hamas said the airstrikes amounted to war and promised a harsh response. It quickly launched dozens of rockets into southern Israel, including several that struck the city of Beersheba, shattering windows and damaging cars but causing no injuries.

Civil-defense authorities in Israel, anticipating retaliation, raised alert levels early in the day and told residents in southern Israel to take precautions. Many remained indoors or congregated in bomb shelters.

There is a live blog of what is happening on the ground over in Israel via Haaretz. I would not read too much into this; Israel is simply flexing its muscles at the Gaza strip. Because Hamas keeps firing rockets into Israel. I mean, Israel gives up land to these bastards; and what do they do? Fire missiles into Israel. So, yes, Israel is simply defending itself here. But, I do doubt that this will escalate into full on war. This has happened before; Hamas fires rockets, Israel bombs the crap out of them and Hamas retreats and begs them to stop and things are peaceful again, until the next time.

Of course, I could be, and I hope I am not — wrong about this; it could start another war. But, I doubt it. I like to assume the best, and pray for that as well.

One thing I will not do; and much of the right is doing this and it is wrong. I am not going to pin this on Obama. It is not Obama’s fault that Hamas is firing rockets into Israel. Obama is not superhuman, he cannot control what a bunch of stupid Arabs do in another Country. The best thing Obama can do about this little situation is stay the hell out of it; just like George W. Bush did the last time there was a flare up between the two parties.

Update: Chris Smith reminded me of something over on Google Plus. Egypt is threatening to get involved. Via Breitbart, who is, of course, blaming Obama, which is stupid:

Today, Egypt’s Freedom and Justice Party, the political wing of the Muslim Brotherhood – a party formerly headed by current President Mohammed Morsi – announced that Egypt would get involved if Israel continued to kill terrorists in the Gaza Strip. Such Israeli action, said the party, would prompt “swift Arab and international action to stop the massacres.” The party also warned that Israel “must take into account the changes in the Arab region and especially Egypt … [Egypt] will not allow the Palestinians to be subjected to Israeli aggression, as in the past.”

The question now is whether the Obama administration will be able to prevent Egypt from attempting overt or covert intervention on behalf of Hamas in the Gaza Strip. If the United States leads from behind – or worse, if they show daylight with Israel – Israel’s security will be in grave danger. Even as dozens of rockets are fired at Israel, the Obama administration has yet to say anything. The Obama administration, by contrast, couldn’t shut up about a YouTube video even as Americans were slaughtered in Benghazi. And Obama continues to tout the Arab Spring as an awakening for freedom and liberty rather than for Islamism.

No wonder Israel’s neighbors in the north (Syria) and south (Gaza and Egypt) are getting aggressive. They have a friend in the White House.

Please keep in mind, that the writer of that, is a Jew and quite the smirking partisan hack, who blames everything on Obama — including the Weather. But, outside of that, the story about Egypt is legit. Also too, before anyone says anything to me; about me bringing up the fact that Ben is a Jew. Let me say this: If Ben does not mind being an a-hole partisan hack and blaming President Obama for everything, like most Jewish Neocons do. Then I do not mind bringing up his ethnic heritage for all to see. Personally, I am sick and tired of the NeoCons pounding Obama for every damned thing under the sun. They are, among many other reasons — the reason Mitt Romney lost the election, if you really want to be honest about it and I really do not mind reminding every one of that fact.

Perfect example of why I am growing more and more distant with libertarians

I linked to this blog entry earlier.

Check out the comment section. You’ll see where I make my stance clear on Israel. Well, it seems that one of Bill Quick’s commenters over there seems to believe that I am too dumb to know anything about Israel.

His comments remind me of some of the tripe that the anti-Semites at antiwar.com like to write. I have blogged about that in the past, on my old blog.

My position on Israel is quite clear; that is God’s land, promised to the Jews in the Bible. Palestine has no claim to that land at all. Period, end of story. Furthermore, I happen to believe that the prosperity of this Nation is directly tied to the treatment and support of Israel.

I admittedly have disdain for identity politics and unfortunately, some American Jews do partake in that practice. Furthermore, I reject Wilsonian foreign policy, because it is, I believe, a wrong- headed policy for the US to pursue.

However, my feeling about a particular foreign policy does not equate to anti-Israel bias, or anti-Jewish sentiment. To me; a Jew is a Jew, whether here or abroad. If you express disdain for one; you express it for all of them. Most of that anti-Jewish hatred comes from kooky sites like this one here.

To me, there are two types of libertarian; of the InstaPundit kind, which I respect and of the Lew Rockwell kind —- which I utterly despise.

Now, where Bill Quick fits into that mold, I have no idea. But, based upon what I saw in that comment section over there. I doubt very seriously that I will be commenting over there again.

There are just some things that I will not compromise on, and this is one of them. Open-mindedness be damned; I just will not budge on iota on this one. No way, no how.

Very well put!

Bill Quick says, after linking to this here:

Obama’s entire Israel policy is predicated on the notion that “Never again” is a meaningless catch-phrase, and that Israel will meekly commit suicide because he desires it to do so.

As for the American Jews who blindly support Obama through thick and thin, they disgust me. If I could, I’d deport every one of them to Israel, so they can enjoy the full brunt of their feckless actions.

via Obama’s Isreal Policy: Hope They Suicide | Daily Pundit.

Like I wrote there:

Amen. Any Jew who votes for a Political Party that can’t even agree to support them, gets what’s coming to them. Deport them back to Israel and stop funding their battles with Palestine.

These same liberal leftist Jews will be the first one’s to holler “HELP!” when the shelling starts again, and believe you me, it will, sooner or later.

Ronald Reagan knew the truth about Palestine, and this is why he started the support of Israel, by the Republican Party. Way I see it, if the leftist Jews, and those who voted for Obama want that sort of leadership in America, then let them, and that Country go it’s own way and see how far they get.

Just my opinion.

Alan Dershowitz : The Jewish Judas

You remember ol’ Alan Dershowitz? The man that went after Media Matters? Turns out he’s nothing more than you’re a-typical self-hating liberal Jew.

Via Tablet Magazine who observes:

If President Barack Obama is so bad on Israel, why are some of his most prominent Jewish critics planning on voting for him anyway? The list of these critics is long, but it includes former New York City Mayor Ed Koch, Harvard law professor Alan Dershowitz, and media tycoon Haim Saban. All three spent Obama’s first term laying into the president on his Israel policy as if it were their litmus test—and all three are now publicly supporting his re-election.

Powerhouse lawyer Alan Dershowitz criticized Obama in the Wall Street Journal for not sending a tough enough message to the Iranian regime, and he even wondered openly if the president might be remembered as “the Neville Chamberlain of the 21st century.”

However, it seems that Dershowitz was sufficiently impressed by Obama’s seriousness regarding Iran when, in a personal meeting in the Oval Office, the president assured him, “I don’t bluff.” Now the professor is stumping for the president in Florida, and yesterday he officially endorsed him in the Jerusalem Post, writing that “the case for the reelection of Barack Obama is a compelling one, based not only on his past record but on the specific policies he has proposed for the next four years.”

Ed Koch famously sent “a message to President Obama that he cannot throw Israel under the bus with impunity” last year in the New York Times. He ripped the president in 2010 when the administration made a big issue out of continued Israeli construction in East Jerusalem. “What they did is they wanted to make Israel into a pariah,” he said of the White House. “It’s outrageous in my judgment.” Koch noted that he campaigned for Obama in 2008, and pushed Jews to vote for him, arguing he would be just as solid in his support for Israel as the Republican candidate, John McCain. “I don’t think it’s true anymore,” said Koch.

But now the mayor is back in Obama’s fold, if somewhat reluctantly, “I believe that he is going to win whether I vote for him or not,” Koch told a radio interviewer in September. “So, wouldn’t it be better that he wins changing his positions?”

In 2011, Haim Saban was angry with the administration for airing its grievances with Israel in public—and he went on CNBC to say so. Now that the election is around the corner, the Israeli-American billionaire is singing a different tune. The president’s “support for Israel’s security and well-being has been rock solid,” Saban wrote in a heavily circulated New York Times op-ed last month. “What’s the case against Mr. Obama? That he hasn’t visited Israel since he was a candidate in 2008? Perhaps these critics have forgotten that George W. Bush, that great friend of Israel, didn’t visit Jerusalem until his seventh year in office,” Saban added. Somehow Saban seems to have forgotten that he is one of those critics.

So, what gives? Obama’s record on Israel, as Koch, Dershowitz, and Saban have all helpfully pointed out, is not good. The president’s strained relationship with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is unlikely to improve in a second term when Israeli-American relations will be more crucial than ever with Iran on the verge of nuclear breakout. Obama says he has Israel’s back and reminds us regularly of the trip he took to Sderot as a candidate. But who can forget that he started his first term telling a group of Jewish leaders he invited to the White House that it was important to put daylight between the United States and Israel?

Maybe former Commentary editor Norman Podhoretz was right when he wrote after the 2008 election that no matter how dire the situation for Israel, Jews simply cannot bring themselves to vote for Republicans. As much as American Jews care, or claim to care, about the Jewish state, they are not one-issue voters. They care just as much, if not more, about issues that other liberal voters care about, like abortion and gay rights. (Podhoretz had hoped for “buyer’s remorse” among Jews who supported Obama in 2008, but no such luck. The latest Gallup poll shows that Jewish voters are going for Obama over Mitt Romney 70 to 25.)

Yes, I do highly recommend that you go read the rest of that; as it is a very good piece and I really hated to have to quote so much of it; but I wanted everyone to get the gist of what is happening here.

Now, I realize that not all Jews are Zionist; yes, I understand that is a collectivist mentality and I am not much into group thought at all. However, my argument that supporting the Democratic Party would be like a Jew supporting Hitler; is one of an moral argument than anything else. It just to me, as a White Anglo-Saxon Protestant Christian American; an outsider —- does not make any kind of sense at all. Maybe I am just a weirdo or something. Because you would think that seeing all of the stuff, and I do mean ALL OF THE STUFF that the Jews have went through in the last 70 years; that every single cotton-picking Jew in America would want to be on the side that support the Jews one hundred percent and Israel one hundred percent.

This is not to say that Democrats have always been this hostile towards Israel and the Jews. Look what Roosevelt and Truman did during World War 2. The problem is, that is not the same party anymore. In fact, the Democrat Party since 2007, has gotten downright nasty towards Israel, Jews and the sort of stuff. I know, I was over there once.

Something else too, earlier, I wrote a posting ripping William Kristol a new butthole. I also tossed Podhoretz in there, the lovely screwball. Anyhow, as much as I find their foreign policy a bit off-putting.  I give them this bit of credit; at least they actually support their own homeland. Which is more than I say about this onion headed idiot Dershowitz! Rolling Eyes I mean, why doesn’t he just say, “Yes, Palestine, Please, kill me, rape my children and steal my money and get it over with.” It is a bit of a sick way of making the point; but I am sure most of you get what I mean.

I guess the further I go here; the less I really understand the Jewish culture; they are a diverse group; and in the case of Israel and her defense — that is a great American tragedy.

Max Boot makes a very good point

I must be slipping. Silly

I am actually sitting here and agreeing with something that Max Boot wrote in Commentary Magazine. Surprise

Quote:

Today the U.S. Navy must prepare for two major wars–one against Iran in the Persian Gulf, the other against China in the Western Pacific–while also combating piracy off the coast of Africa, dealing with unexpected wars such as the one in Libya last year, supporting ground operations in Afghanistan and other theaters, combating drug runners in the Caribbean, and showing the flag in the Mediterranean, Indian Ocean, and other seas. The operational tempo dictated by these requirements is terrific, as I have seen for myself in the last few years in visits to the 5th Fleet in the Persian Gulf and the 7th Fleet in Japan.

The ships we have are, when not retrofitting in port, almost constantly at sea and they are struggling to keep up with threats ranging from Chinese “aircraft-killer” ballistic missiles and submarines to Iranian mines and cruise missiles–not to mention the ever-present threat of cyberattack and terrorism (of the kind which crippled the USS Cole). Yes, the capabilities of each naval ship are greater today–but so are its range of potential missions and so are the capabilities of our potential foes. China is expanding its maritime capabilities at a rapid clip; the U.S. Navy is struggling to keep up and the balance of power in the Western Pacific is shifting against us.

That is in large part why the bipartisan Hadley-Perry Commission concluded in 2010 that the Navy should have 346 ships. Yet today it has only 282 ships–and falling. As former Navy Secretary (and Romney adviser) John Lehman noted in April: “The latest budget the administration has advanced proposes buying just 41 ships over five years. It is anything but certain that the administration’s budgets will sustain even that rate of only eight ships per year, but even if they do, the United States is headed for a Navy of 240-250 ships at best.”

That is a looming strategic disaster–and one that no amount of quips about horses and bayonets can wish away. If we don’t build more ships, our global maritime dominance–the basic underpinning of the world’s strategic and economic stability–is in real danger of slipping away.

The only thing that I have a quibble with, is that he actually forgot Russia. If Max thinks that Russia is not a threat to our National Security; he is nuts. As long as Putin has his hands in the Government in Russia, the United States should be very worried. Putin is a holdover from the communist era in Russia and he would just love to take Russia back to the old Communist era. So, they are a threat, as a matter of face they were just testing missiles yesterday.

Reagan always said, when it came to Russia; “Trust, But Verify” and Reagan always did try and independently verify anything that the Russians were saying or doing. All of the Presidents since then have not been so careful, as far as I know. As much as I know that it is going to make me sound like a conspiracy theory kook; I really do not believe that Russia is to be trusted at all. Communism never quite dies, it just takes on new shapes and names. Sort of like what we have here in America, as it is called —- imperfect Marxism.

However, over in Russia, I believe it to be a bit more sinister and complex; those who would want to bring back old soviet-style communism, have plenty of funding, as many in the Russian Business and underworld, would stand to make a good deal of money, if the old Communist Party came back to power. So, that is a threat and I believe our Military should always be on the ready, for when the Russians decided to show muscle.

I hate to be the one to say it; but, anyone who thinks that there are not threats to the security of this Country and others in the region, is at the very least highly uninformed. This is why I always had a quibble with Ron Paul’s foreign policy. As Paul’s foreign policy was just simply not rooted in the realities of the time. Ron Paul seems to be stuck in a utopian era, before World War 2. Truth is, times have changed, and we must be responsible as a Nation to protect this great Republic of ours, from those who wish to cause it harm. This is not a “Neo-Con” foreign policy, that is a reality based, Pro-American foreign policy.

Sadly, Ron Paul refuses to accept that argument and that is why I always had trouble taking him seriously, except maybe on matters of fiscal policy. Even then, some of his ideas are just not rooted in reality. Nice ideas, but a bit out of step for the realities of today.
