New York Magazine asks, “Where is Barack Obama?”

Firstly, Click here to go read the article, it will open in a new window, I’ll wait.

Secondly, for all of the bad things I might have said about now former President Obama, I will say this. President Obama is doing the precise thing that he should be doing. Like his predecessor, George W. Bush, he is not going to second guess the current President. After the election of President Obama, President George W. Bush went back to Texas, returned to Private life and refused, even the most ardent requests to even remotely criticize his successor.  This is precisely how these sort of affairs should be handled. President Obama had his chance, did his job and now it is someone Else’s job.  This is how it works in a Constitutional Republic, a President serves his four year term, if he is lucky and does a good job, he gets a second term by an election; after that he becomes a private citizen by a peaceful transfer of power. I comment President Obama for keeping with that tradition.

The question is, will Trump?

Trump demands Canada dismantle supply management or risk trading relationship – CBC.CA

I’ve had it with President Donald Trump!

To give you some context to my decision. As you all know by now, Rosanna Barr made an ass of herself and lost her TV show.

Well, the President in his quest to make everything about him, tweeted this:

To which I responded:

This is when, I decided to drop the bomb on the President:

and with that folks, I declare, publicly, for the first time, that I am no longer in the pro-trump camp. This man has lost my support. Now, I am not switching sides. I am simply withdrawing support from this President. My political position, principles and convictions have not changed a bit. I just cannot support this President any longer. This has been a LONG time coming and it is finally gotten to the point with me, that I simply cannot continue to support this man.

Local Story: Black Kid, in mostly white neighborhood, knocks on door, gets shot at and then cries RACISM!

Stories like this really set me off man. I really hate it, when stuff like this happens.

To set this up, Rochester Hills, Michigan is an upper middle class, predominately white neighborhood. In fact, Hip Hop star Eminem, owned a house there, at one time; before moving into a gated community in Clinton Township.

Here is  the story, dripping with liberal, race-baiting, bias and the story is at Fox 2 News here in Detroit, of all places!

Check out the video story on it and watch the nuanced accusation of racism; it’s never said, but it is strongly implied:

Oh, it gets better, check out the story:

– A 14-year-old missed his bus and it nearly cost him his life.

Things took a dangerous turn when Brennan Walker went looking for help at a Rochester Hills home Thursday morning and was confronted by a man with a gun.

“I got to the house, and I knocked on the lady’s door. Then she started yelling at me and she was like, ‘Why are you trying to break into my house?’ I was trying to explain to her that I was trying to get directions to Rochester High. And she kept yelling at me. Then the guy came downstairs, and he grabbed the gun, I saw it and started to run. And that’s when I heard the gunshot,” he says.

Thankfully, the man missed. Brennan kept running, hid, then cried.

“My mom says that, black boys get shot because sometimes they don’t look their age, and I don’t look my age. I’m 14; but I don’t look 14. I’m kind of happy that, like, I didn’t become a statistic,” he says in retrospect.

Oakland County Sheriff Deputies arrived soon after to the home on South Christian Hills Drive and took the woman’s husband into custody.

FOX 2: “Your son almost became a hashtag.”

“Exactly, and that’s exactly how I feel. Like, wow. Because you were trying to get to school,” says his mother, Lisa Wright. “I found out later the only reason [the man] missed is because he forgot to take the safety off.”

Lisa was at work when she got the call. She says her husband is deployed in Syria, so she was assuming she was getting a call about him until she realized they were calling about Brennan. She dropped everything and immediately went to the substation to be with her son.

That’s where investigators told her the family’s Ring doorbell recorded the encounter. Investigators watched the video with Brennan and his mom. She says the video confirmed their suspicions.

“One of the things that stands out, that probably angers me the most is, while I was watching the tape, you can hear the wife say, ‘Why did “these people” choose my house?'” she says, before taking a long pause. “Who are, “these people?” And that set me off. I didn’t want to believe it was what it appeared to look like. When I heard her say that, it was like, but it is [what it looks like].”

Authorities haven’t released that security video.

“We should not have to live in a society where we have to fend for ourselves. If I have a question, I should be able to turn to my village and knock on a door and ask a question. I shouldn’t be fearful of a child, let alone a skin tone,” she adds. “This is a decent neighborhood. If anything — why would I knock on your door to rob you?”

“It is just absurd that this happened,” says Oakland County Sheriff Michael Bouchard. “I feel terrible for the young man; I feel terrible for the mom and the anxiety that they had to go through. We are going to ask for every charge permissible for this guy, who stepped up and fired a shotgun because someone knocked on his door.”

Right now that man is being held at the Oakland County Jail. He’s expected to be arraigned sometime on Friday.

Sources tell FOX 2’s Randy Wimbley the 53-year-old Rochester Hills man is a retired Detroit firefighter.

Earth to dumb ass black kid! You live in a rich, white, suburb and they saw you, and figured you where there to rob them. I cannot blame them for getting a gun. Now, I will be first to say, the wife and the man overreacted in a big way. However, I believe that the media, Fox News owned Channel 2 here is trying to play this as a racial matter…..and it is BULLSHIT! This kid should have known this could have happened. If he was so worried about getting to school, why didn’t he go to a gas station or somewhere else safe? Why go a strangers house?

This our America today folks, where black people can do stuff like that and if you’re white and you show aggression towards a black, you are going to end up in jail. Welcome to liberal Michigan. In Texas, this wouldn’t even be an issue. But, here, all White people are considered Racist, Gun-Grabbing, Trump lovers. Why I want to move out of here and badly.

Exclusive Video Commentary: Trump vs Bannon

Well, this is very interesting…

Via Bloomberg, Trump says, Bannon is “Teh Crazy..”:

President Donald Trump denounced his former top strategist, Steve Bannon, on Wednesday in a dramatic break from the man considered an architect of Trump’s populist campaign.

“When he was fired, he not only lost his job, he lost his mind,” Trump said in a statement issued after the publication of excerpts of a new book in which Bannon criticizes the president and his family. “Now that he is on his own, Steve is learning that winning isn’t as easy as I make it look.”

Bannon has lost the access to the president that he’s enjoyed since leaving the White House in August, one person familiar with the matter said.

Earlier on Wednesday, The Guardian published excerpts of a forthcoming book by author Michael Wolff in which Bannon predicts that Special Counsel Robert Mueller will “crack Don Junior like an egg on national TV” over the president’s son’s meeting with a Russian lawyer at Trump Tower in June 2016. Bannon also called Donald Trump Jr.’s meeting with the lawyer, in which he expected to receive damaging information on Trump’s election opponent Hillary Clinton, “treasonous” and “unpatriotic,” according to the Guardian.

White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders told reporters at a briefing that Trump was “furious, disgusted” by Bannon’s remarks about his son, calling the claims “outrageous” and “completely false.”

Bannon, reached by Bloomberg News, declined to comment on the remarks published by the Guardian. Two people close to him said he wasn’t bothered by the president’s statement. They asked not to be identified discussing Bannon’s reaction.

New York Magazine also published an article by Wolff on Wednesday, based on the book, that recounts a conversation between Bannon and former Fox News Chairman Roger Ailes in which the two men debated whether Trump understood the importance of his election.

“‘Does he get it?’ asked Ailes suddenly, looking intently at Bannon. Did Trump get where history had put him?” Wolff wrote. “Bannon took a sip of water. ‘He gets it,’ he said, after hesitating for perhaps a beat too long. ‘Or he gets what he gets.”’

My temptation to giggle at the faux outrage aside. This will have some far reaching consequences and I explain this in my video commentary below:

Thug cop killer assumes room temperature

I am glad to see this thug get his just deserts.

Thug cop killer Jason Robison is now at room temperature, where he cannot hurt anyone else.

Suspected cop killer Jason Robison is still at large and considered dangerous, according to police.

Authorities said Trooper Landon Weaver was shot and killed by Robison at about 6:30 p.m. Friday when the officer investigated a “domestic-related incident” at a home on Bakers Hollow Road in Juniata Township in Huntingdon County. The area where the shooting occurred has been closed off while police officers search for Robison.

Robison made his feelings toward law enforcement known on his Facebook page less than two weeks before the killing.

“The only good cop is a dead cop,” he said in a Dec. 17 post, which was on Facebook until about 1 a.m. Saturday when it was deleted. The status included two images — one of a police cruiser that had crashed and another of an injured police officer.

Robison, according to court documents, has previously been arrested about a dozen times with charges ranging from simple assault to arson.

Weaver enlisted with state police in December 2015 and was assigned to Troop G, Huntingdon. He is the 97th member of the Pennsylvania State Police to be killed in the line of duty, according to authorities. – Via Centre Daily

This guy got just what was coming to him, via AP:

The Deceased Law Enforcement Officer – Trooper Landon Weaver, who was only 23 – leaves behind a wife. He was the bravest of the brave – God be with his family.

JUNIATA TOWNSHIP, Pa. (AP) — The suspect in the fatal shooting of a first-year Pennsylvania trooper was shot and killed after making threats to police who located him Saturday morning, authorities said.

Trooper Landon Weaver, 23, was killed responding to a domestic complaint Friday evening in a rural area in Huntingdon County, in central Pennsylvania. An overnight manhunt for the suspect ended Saturday morning when police found 32-year-old Jason Robison at an unoccupied mobile home in the area, authorities said.

Cpl. Adam Reed, a state police spokesman, said Robison refused orders and threatened officers on the scene, leading police to shoot him. His death was confirmed at about 10:30 a.m.

Weaver was responding to a reported violation of a protection-from-abuse order when he was shot. Details of that complaint were not immediately available, and Reed did not immediately know who owned the home where Weaver was killed.

The search for Robison was focused on an area around the home and nearby Raystown Lake.

I feel this way, because I have family that has word in law enforcement. I feel that a Cop Killer is a Cop Killer is a Cop Killer; I do not give a darn what color he is. If you kill a cop; you are the worst thing on this planet. Police Officers do not make laws, they simply enforce them. There is a fine line between anarchy and a Free Republic and these officers are it.

If we are going to outraged when a “Black Lives Matter” thug kills a Law Enforcement Officer; then we should be equally outraged when a white man kills a Law Enforcement Officer as well. Skin color should never matter. Murder is wrong and immoral and the killing of a Police Officer is more so.

The biggest reason this bugs me, is this:

Any questions?

Around the ‘sphere….

I know, I have not been writing much here. Real life has kept me busy and plus, I have just been doing other things. Youtube videos and so forth. Sorry. Anyhow, here some links and my commentary on them. All links go to Memeorandum.

There’s more over at Memeorandum. But, most of it, is, in my humble opinion; stupid. I cannot wait till the general election.

Things that I should be blogging about

As I you might have noticed, I really have not been writing about politics as of late. I just am at the point of being sick and tired of the thing. The entire Republican primary has become, in my opinion, a clown show, as has the Democrat’s as well.

But, seeing that this is supposed to be my blog, here goes:

Business Insider: ‘I’m getting sick of it’: Sean Hannity blows up at Ted Cruz:

Conservative radio host Sean Hannity and Sen. Ted Cruz had a testy back-and-forth on the host’s Tuesday show, with Hannity telling the Texas senator at one point that he was “getting sick of” Cruz dodging “legitimate questions.”

The interview got off to a tense start. Hannity suggested that Americans were wondering about what role delegates play in the process of choosing a nominee, with talk of a contested Republican convention heating up.

Cruz sharply disputed this notion.

“Sean, with all respect, that’s not what people are concerned about,” Cruz said. “I’m campaigning every day. People are concerned about bringing jobs back to America. People are concerned about raising wages. People are concerned about getting the federal government off the backs of small businesses, and people are concerned about beating Hillary” Clinton.

Cruz said that the media “loves to obsess” about the process of choosing a Republican nominee for president. He said that what amounted to “whining” from Donald Trump’s campaign about the delegate process being unfair is “silly.”

Hannity came back at Cruz, telling him that he hears from people who tell him that they “find this whole process confusing.”

Trump has gone on a tear over the past several days, calling the delegate process “rigged” after a series of contests in which Cruz’s campaign outmaneuvered Trump in the battle for delegates. If no candidate reaches the required 1,237 delegates to lock down the Republican nomination, then many delegates who would be bound to Trump on the first convention ballot could vote for a different candidate on subsequent ballots.

Hannity pointed out that the Cruz campaign has focused on wooing delegates who might be able to switch their votes from Trump to Cruz on a second convention ballot.

“It’s more than a process question,” Hannity said. “It’s an integrity-of-the-election question.”

Cruz responded that the “only people asking this question are the hardcore Donald Trump supporters.”

Hannity told him that he had to “stop.”

“Senator, why do you do this every single time?” Hannity asked, cutting Cruz off as he was speaking. “You’ve got to stop. Every time I have you on the air, and I ask a legitimate question, you try to throw this in my face. I’m getting sick of it. I’ve had you on more than any other candidate on radio and TV. So if I ask you, senator, a legitimate question to explain to the audience, why don’t you just answer it?”

Hannity is in the tank for Trump, and has been for a while. Make no mistake, Ted Cruz is a snake and a half; but, Trump? He is worse, much, much, worse. Having said that, it is good to see someone in the Conservative media hold Cruz’s feet to the fire and knock him off his talking points.

Q13 FOX News: AP: Ted Cruz now mathematically eliminated from clinching GOP nomination before convention:

NEW YORK (AP) — Donald Trump is now the only Republican candidate with any chance of clinching the nomination before the convention.

Ted Cruz was mathematically eliminated Tuesday after Trump’s big win in the New York primary.

Trump won at least 89 of the 95 delegates at stake. John Kasich won at least three and Cruz was in danger of being shut out.

There aren’t enough delegates left in future contests for either Cruz or Kasich to reach the 1,237 delegates needed to win the GOP nomination. Their only hope is to block Trump and force a contested convention.

The AP delegate count:

Trump: 845.

Cruz: 559.

Kasich: 147.

But that won’t stop Cruz and Kasich from trying to steal the nomination from Trump.

John Podhoretz / New York Post: A sobering night for New Yorkers who fear Hillary vs. Trump:

We New Yorkers were excited by the fact that for the first time in 24 years (on the Democratic side) or the first time ever (on the Republican side), our votes were going to make a difference in the nomination of a presidential candidate.

And did they ever. Bad exit polls suggested Bernie Sanders was giving Hillary Clinton a race, but in a matter of minutes, it was clear they were wrong. She just walloped him.

This means New York’s Democrats have brought the Bernie insurgency closer to its inevitable end.

Here in New York, reality bit the Bernie bandwagon. He may deliver endless lectures about how money is everything in politics, but he outspent her in New York by 2-to-1 and she still romped. So give a listen in old Brooklyn-speak: Sometimes, money means bupkis.

Podhoretz hates Trump, because he is not a neocon; plain and simple. Plus too, Trump is king in NYC and NY in general. Hillary is too; Bernie’s VT socialism is not accepted nationally.

Gabriel Debenedetti / Politico: How Bernie lost New York:

NEW YORK — Bernie Sanders had just arrived at the rally, and missed the incendiary remark entirely. Many on the senator’s campaign had never even heard of Dr. Paul Song, the speaker who had just commandeered news coverage of a massive Washington Square rally in New York by referring to “corporate Democratic whores.”

Nevertheless, by the next morning, the campaign was forced into full scramble mode. Cable coverage of the 27,000-person rally was eclipsed by reporting on the furor surrounding the comment, requiring a Sanders response. After first resisting an apology, the campaign settled on disavowing the remark with a tweet.

Another day, another lost news cycle.

Like I said above, Bernie’s style of politics is not nationally accepted. Especially calling woman whores; that doesn’t fly in National politics, let alone National LIBERAL politics!

More on this at memeorandum.

John Bresnahan / Politico: Paul Ryan’s House of woes:

Paul Ryan has had a tough couple of months.

The House GOP’s response to Puerto Rico’s debt crisis is stuck, with a big May 1 deadline looming. The leadership’s 2017 budget plan is stalled. And legislation to overhaul the Federal Aviation Administration hasn’t left the runway.

With all the attention showered on Ryan’s non-interest in running for president, it’s easy to overlook the new speaker’s troubles running the House these days.

Almost six months into the job, Ryan and his top lieutenants face questions about whether the Wisconsin Republican’s tenure atop the House is any more effective than that of his predecessor, former Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio). Ryan has flattered the House Freedom Caucus and pursued promises to empower rank-and-file Republicans with reforms to how the House operates — yet it’s yielded little in the way of actual results.

Politics is a beach and sometimes, you’re the ball. Sucks to be him. Is it any wonder that Republicans are being told to avoid the convention?

This is end, my only friend, the end….

This is so funny. The Establishment is feeling the butthurt:

Nothing can stop the Trump train….nothing. Not even Erik “whiny bitch boy” Erickson

The talks about how to deal with Trump’s ascendance took on fresh urgency on Thursday. Some were intent on keeping up the fight. Prominent conservative activists gathered behind closed doors at the Army-Navy Club in downtown Washington, just a few blocks from the White House, to discuss how Trump could be defeated — even if it means waging a third-party campaign to run against him. The meeting drew around two dozen figures, including prominent activist Erick Erickson, conservative columnist Quin Hillyer, South Dakota businessman Bob Fischer and former George W. Bush adviser Bill Wichterman.

I believe this here is most appropriate:

Leftists show their true colors at the news of Nancy Reagan’s passing

This, my friends, is the true colors of the Democratic Party and the leftist base that supports them. This is why I quit voting for them. This is the sort of bile that drove me away from that Party. I was no fan boy of Bush and Co. But, this sort of bile is uncalled for. Which is why I stopped voting for them, supporting them and such.

Check out:  First 30 Minutes: Vile Tweets About Death of Nancy Flow On Twitter – Breitbart

There is no excuse for it, at all. This is why Ronald Reagan left that party.

Update: Seriously Wonkette? I hope the Reagan family sues the crap out of you for this bile.
