LA Clippers owner Donald Sterling says he was baited into his comments

This does not surprise me one bit.

The Story:

(CNN) — Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling says he’s sorry but feels he was “baited” to make racist comments, nearly two weeks after the NBA fined him and banned him for life for his remarks in a recorded conversation.

“When I listen to that tape, I don’t even know how I can say words like that. … I don’t know why the girl had me say those things,” he told CNN’s Anderson Cooper in an exclusive interview set to air on Monday.

“You’re saying you were set up?” Cooper asked.

“Well yes, I was baited,” Sterling said. “I mean, that’s not the way I talk. I don’t talk about people for one thing, ever. I talk about ideas and other things. I don’t talk about people.”

Sterling, an 80-year-old married lawyer and billionaire real-estate investor, hasn’t spoken publicly about the accusations since celebrity gossip website TMZ posted a 10-minute audio recording of him that drew widespread condemnation from fans, players and the league.

via Donald Sterling tells Anderson Cooper: ‘I’m asking for forgiveness’ – CNN.com.

I do not doubt his word on being baited. Sounds to be like some ex-whatever you wanna call it, coaxed him into saying the stuff he did and recorded it in retaliation for not getting paid or something.

Now I will tell you this; you watch. Donald Sterling will go through a period, where he will have to grovel at the altar of political correctness. Then, after a while, the powers-that-be at the NFL will finally lift his lifetime ban and he will be reinstated, like nothing ever happened. Why? Because he is of the right ethnic background, as is the current NBA commissioner.

Now, had Sterling been a WASP, like myself. He would be finished, personally and financially. However, because he is of the protected minority sort; and did attack someone within the liberal’s protected status, all will be forgiven in a short time and all of this will blow over, as if nothing ever happened.  You watch and see if I am not correct.

Financial, ethnical  and social status have their privileges and we are about to see just what those privileges entail. Now, if I am wrong; I will be quite pleased to see the NFL carry out this sort of a punishment. However, something tells me, that a period of groveling will take place and then a magical forgiveness and restoration will take please. You watch and see, if I am not correct.

Teletubbies?!?!

HEH:

Detroit — Riley Sheahan, the Red Wings’ No. 1 draft pick in 2010, reportedly was wearing a Teletubbies costume at the time he was pulled over shortly before midnight on Oct. 29, driving the wrong way in downtown Grand Rapids.

“Teletubbies” was a PBS children’s program that was produced from 1997 to 2002.

Sheahan, 20, had a blood-alcohol content of .30, nearly four times the legal limit and twice the threshold for the “super-drunk” charge he faces for his arrest, MLive reported. Sheahan also had identification of Brendan Smith, another Red Wings draft pick who will join the Wings once the NHL lockout is over, at the time of the arrest.

That must have been some rip-snortin’ party there man! 😆 😀

The absolutely stupidest blog posting ever

Is found here, it is about the Tigers losing the world series. I hollered at this guy on Facebook for this too. What a moron! Blames Obama because Detroit lost the world series. Rolling EyesLoser

Some people, should not even be allowed near a Computer. I mean, I am not a big fan of the President. But the truth is, he had zero to do with it.

The truth is the Tigers were down three of their best batters and because of that, they simply could not match up to San Francisco.

So, yeah, we lost:

However, there is always next year. Devil

The only thing more stupid that this blog posting, is the fact that some actual respectable blogs, actually linked to the idiot!

They are: Israel Matzav and The Lonely Conservative

Bunch of anti-Detroit idiots. I would call them racists; but I cannot prove that, but it sure makes me wonder — I mean, black President, mostly minority team in Detroit. What else am I supposed to think? I dont know

I’m just saying guys….I’m just saying….. Frustrated

Memo to all Gun Owners: READ THIS!

Needless to say, this is some interesting reading here:

Fellow Sportsman:

About this time four years ago, I penned an open letter to you that spoke of the Barack Obama I grew to know while I was a lobbyist in the Illinois State Capitol.  At that time, I described Obama as a stony-faced liar who will do whatever it takes to force his extremist agenda on the American people.  I warned you that electing Barack Obama would be something that hunters, sportsmen, target shooters and gun collectors would live to regret.

In writing to you four years ago, I backed my assertions about the danger of an Obama presidency by citing his legislative record.  That record includes voting no less than 4 times against legislation that would allow law-abiding citizens to defend their families against home invaders without fear of being arrested or being sued.  This shameful record of Obama’s also included his support for legislation that would run venerable Illinois firearm manufacturers such as Armalite, Lewis Machine & Tool, Rock River Arms, and Springfield Armory out of business.

I reminded you as well that Obama was a long-time member of the board of the rabidly anti-gun Joyce Foundation.  As a member of the Joyce Foundation board, Obama approved the donation of millions of dollars to gun grabbing groups such as the Violence Policy Center and the Illinois Council Against Handgun Violence.  Those, and other groups funded by the Joyce Foundation, are bent on destroying the Second Amendment to our Constitution – and Barack Obama was always there with checkbook in hand to help them out.

No indictment of Obama’s anti-gun sentiment would be complete without dropping the names of some of his close friends and confidants.  First, we have renegade Chicago priest Mike Pfleger.  Many of you will recall that Pfleger openly called for the murder of gun shop owners and legislators who were pro-gun.  Obama is also strongly affiliated with guys like former Chicago mayor, Richie Daley and international gun-hater George Soros.  Truly, birds of a feather flock together.

Four years ago, there was overwhelming evidence that Obama was no friend to the law-abiding firearm owner.  Nevertheless, many shooters bought in to Obama’s bogus claims of ‘respect’ for the Second Amendment.  To their detriment, they believed Obama’s assertion that he would not take their guns away from them.

After issuing my open letter to firearm owners four years ago, I received a lot of emails, letters and calls from hunters and outdoorsmen who told me I was wrong about Obama.  They claimed that Obama truly understood the Constitution and that the breaking of his ties with the Chicago establishment would move him towards a more gun-friendly state of mind.

Now, four years later, I’m afraid I must say, “I told you so.”  Obama has repaid the gun owners who supported him with the appointments of two anti-gun, anti-freedom justices to the Supreme Court.  And, just last week, we heard Obama promise millions of debate-watchers that he would work to reinstate Bill Clinton’s ban on semiautomatic rifles, pistols and shotguns.  Obama went even a step further by hinting that he was contemplating actions to ban handguns as well.

I would advise everyone to finish reading this one. This is why I am voting for Mitt Romney. Because the second amendment is important and Mitt Romney will protect it.

Sandusky Sentenced to 30 to 60 years for Child Sexual Molestation

As the victim of an attempted molestation when I was 10 years old, this story is a personal one to me.

BELLEFONTE, Pa. —  Jerry Sandusky, a former Penn State assistant football coach, was sentenced Tuesday morning to 30 to 60 years in prison for sexually abusing boys, crimes that roiled the university community and shook one of major college football’s most prominent programs.

The ruling was handed down in Centre County Court by Judge John Cleland, and it essentially guaranteed that Sandusky, 68, would die in prison. The sentencing came roughly three and a half months after a jury found him guilty of 45 counts of child sexual abuse.

Sandusky, the jury determined, had abused 10 boys, all of them from disadvantaged homes. Sandusky used his connections to the Penn State football program, as well as his own charity for disadvantaged youth, the Second Mile, to identify potential victims, get close to them and then sexually violate them.

I have one thing to say, let that son-of-a-bitch rot in jail. What’s more sickening, the idiot says he is not guilty. Here is hoping someone kills this lousy piece of dung in jail.

You say, “What about Love and compassion?” I’ll let someone else do the Love and Compassion bit. I hope he rots. 😡

If there was ever a textbook case for a need of a National death penalty in this Country — or at the very least, a death penalty in all 50 States in the union; this right here, is one of them.

The message in Tim Tebow’s tweet is about the power of God

Tim Tebow the famous Christian football player sent out a tweet which had some people wondering about what he meant.

The Christian Post Reports:

Like it has been for much of Tim Tebow’s career, it was all about the numbers heading into the N.Y. Jets game against the Houston Texans on the 666th edition of Monday Night Football.

“Looking forward to giving God all the glory in tonight’s 666th Monday Night Football game. Romans 8:37-39,” Tebow tweeted Monday morning.

Once again, as has happened many times before, the sports media turned to talk of Bible scripture and faith as the result of something Tebow said or posted.

USA Today sports writer Chris Chase went so far as to use Tebow’s “666” reference to begin his article with the Bible verse Revelation 13:8. “This calls for wisdom: let the one who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man, and his number is 666,” Chase quoted from the English Standard translation.

“I’m down with Tebow’s religious beliefs and appreciate that he uses his forum to promote them, but I’m not sure what he was going for here,” wrote Chase. “Does playing in a game number that’s identical to the mark of the beast worry him? Or is anything with the number 666 a good way to promote his faith?”

Naturally, we cannot expect these unconverted heathen to understand what Mr. Tebow was trying to convey at all. Here is the scripture that Mr. Tebow was quoting, in the actual Word of God — that is the King James Bible:

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. — (Romans 8:35-39 KJV)

Actually, Mr. Tebow did not quote quite enough of that scripture, he only quoted 37-39, the actually good part is from 35-39. But, I digress.

Tim Tebow was publicly declaring his faith in Jesus Christ. Which is commanded by the Lord Jesus Christ in the Bible, see here:

Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.  — (Matthew 10:32-33 KJV)

Those are the Words of Jesus Christ, recorded by the Apostle Matthew. The Apostle Luke also recorded it in greater detail:

Also I say unto you, Whosoever shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God: But he that denieth me before men shall be denied before the angels of God. And whosoever shall speak a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but unto him that blasphemeth against the Holy Ghost it shall not be forgiven.  — (Luke 12:8-10 KJV)

So, you see, The Lord was not kidding around about that sort of a thing; He meant business. Furthermore, I feel the need to expound another aspect of what Tim Tebow was trying to say in his tweet; whether he knew it or not. Let me say up front; this is where I am going to start sounding like a preacher. I will disclose this now. There was a time, when I was working on getting a degree for Ministry. I really cannot be a Pastor, because I am not married. However, I do know my way around theology a bit. I have been a saved, Born-Again Christian for 30 years. I spent 21 years in the Pentecostal movement. I was saved a Baptist at age 9, in a Baptist Church in Detroit in 1982. I left the Baptist circles in 1984, due to a school change and just started attending an Assemblies of God Church in Detroit, which recently closed after 35 years. In 2004, after many years of watching the Pentecostal movement simply change from what it was, to what it is now —- I walked away from it and went back to the Baptist faith. You see, Baptist is not a denomination, although a few denominations out there call themselves Baptist. Baptist is a way of belief and it dates back to the Apostles of Christ. I suggest reading  The Trail of Blood to see what I am talking about.

Anyhow, back to what I was talking here, before I got off in the weeds. Tim Tebow was also making a another statement and that statement is this here: That Jesus Christ is the Son of the Living God and is all powerful and has dominion over Heaven and Earth. Satan, on the other hand, is a already defeated foe and has limited power. Furthermore, Mr. Tebow was declaring that if you accept Jesus as your personal Savior, that you can enjoy eternal life with God forever. This is the simple truth that has been known throughout the ages, including by those who founded this Country. It is also the bedrock believe that this Nation held to for many years and because of that, this Nation enjoyed many years of abundant prosperity.

I think it goes without saying, that we really need to get back to those beliefs. Now, as a Fundamentalist Baptist; I reject the notion of a corporate Salvation or Christianity. However, I do believe that the Christian values that this Country once held, have been watered down and cast aside as old hat. I believe this happened for a large number of reasons — many of which are beyond the scope of this blog posting. I also reject the notion that this Nation will have another revival. Sadly, the days of revival are over in this Country. I believe before the rapture of the Church comes, I believe things on this earth are going to become much darker and much more evil. I know, it is a fatalist outlook, but the Word of God does bare that out.

FBI says that “sovereign citizens” are a threat.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm….:

(Reuters) – Anti-government extremists opposed to taxes and regulations pose a growing threat to local law enforcement officers in the United States, the FBI warned on Monday.

These extremists, sometimes known as “sovereign citizens,” believe they can live outside any type of government authority, FBI agents said at a news conference.

The extremists may refuse to pay taxes, defy government environmental regulations and believe the United States went bankrupt by going off the gold standard.

Routine encounters with police can turn violent “at the drop of a hat,” said Stuart McArthur, deputy assistant director in the FBI’s counterterrorism division.

“We thought it was important to increase the visibility of the threat with state and local law enforcement,” he said.

via FBI warns of threat from anti-government extremists | Reuters.

I said this over at another blog’s comment section and I will say it here; A Government that watches it’s citizens and considers them a threat; fears those people and that is because they are doing wrong. This is nothing more than a police state action; and the American people should vote accordingly in 2012.

Further more, I find it most insulting that the United States Government would rather hunt down its own citizens, rather than hunt down and capture the real terrorists, who truly hate this Country and want to see it destroyed. That would be the radical Islamic Jihad Terrorists; you know like the ones that slammed those planes into the Trade Center, the Pentegon, and the field near Shanksville, Pa? — or people like these here? But no, our Government, see people like me; citizens who disagree with the policies of the socialist President to be a threat.

Having said that, I have an open message to the United States Government, Federal Bureau of Investigation, President Barack Hussein Obama, The United Nations and the rest of the Big Government morass:

Go Fuck Yourselves Sirs!

Which is all the more reason to go here and get armed with one of these:

Joe Paterno dead at 85

To be quite honest with you, I can fit on the head of a pin, what I honestly know about and really care about the sport of Football. However, this story does stand out:

Video:

The Story:

State College, Pennsylvania (CNN) — Joe Paterno, whose tenure as the most successful coach in major college football history ended abruptly in November amid allegations that he failed to respond forcefully enough to a sex abuse scandal involving a former assistant, died Sunday, a family spokesman said. He was 85.

The longtime Penn State head coach was diagnosed with what his family had called a treatable form of lung cancer shortly after the university’s Board of Trustees voted to fire him.

He had been hospitalized in December after breaking his pelvis in a fall at his home and again in January for what his son called minor complications from his cancer treatments.

“It is with great sadness that we announce that Joe Paterno passed away earlier today,” the family statement said. “His loss leaves a void in our lives that will never be filled.”

via Legendary Penn State coach Paterno dead at 85 – CNN.com.

Like I said above, I not much of a football fan; but from what I see here and from what I read this man was a excellent football coach, who had a great career, that came to abrupt end. All because his assistant coach was some sort of sex pervert; and the old guy did not know what to do and so, he deferred the problem to someone else.  I would guess that was something that he did highly regret.

Now, the man is not suffering anymore; he is with the angels in Heaven and standing before the almighty creator of this World we live in. For his sake, I hope he did truly know Christ and I hope that, for his sake, the Lord God of Heaven and Earth as as merciful to him, as he was me on June 7, 1982 — when I made the decision to accept Christ as my personal Saviour and Lord.  I won’t get into the alternative to that decision, as we all know about that.

May the old gentleman rest in peace, because as anyone that has followed this story knows, this old-timer earned it.
