Believe it or not; I actually agree with this: (Via CNSNews.com)

Terri Land Lynn got beaten in the election and deserved to be beaten!
I know, shocking isn’t it? Well, it is the truth. You want to know why I happen to believe that? Well, this ad here for starters:
The story from Mlive.com:
Update: Peters gave his acceptance speech about 10:15 p.m. He was introduced by outgoing U.S. Sen. Carl Levin, who said he is overflowing with pride to have Peters follow him in the Senate. Peters said he has been “always humbled by the prospect to represent the great state of ours.” He said he was driven by the people he met across the state and that “everybody who works hard and plays by the rules should get their piece of the American dream.”
DETROIT, MI — Michigan has selected its new U.S. senator: Democrat Gary Peters has won Tuesday’s election, according to The Associated Press.
Peters was expected to beat former Secretary of State Terri Lynn Land, a Republican. With 9 percent of precincts reporting, Peters leads Land 53 percent to 43 percent, as of 9 p.m.. Track more incoming results in this race here.
The three-term U.S. congressman has led in most polls since April, with the lead in the past few weeks growing into double digits.
“We always knew this would be close in Michigan because it’s about the direction of our country,” Land said.
“We were never in the lead,” Land added. “I enjoyed watching him spend over $3 million to get better ID. But that’s the reality, it was always going to be a close race in Michigan.”
In that ad above, Lynn comes off as a smug, condescending bitch; who has some sort of an axe to grind with men in general. Which is most likely why she never did well in the election. If Lynn would have stayed above the fray and would have just ignored that sort of nonsense, she most likely would have won the election.
This should be a point of reference to all women that think about entering Republican politics; do not make statements or make videos that are condescending towards men, or you will not be elected to your office that you seek to obtain. Which is why I happen to believe that progressive feminism and Conservatism are incompatible.
Doggone it! Marilinda Garcia loses in New Hampshire
I supported this gal and this is why right here.
The Story:
In a spirited race, Democratic incumbent Ann Kuster beat Republican Marilinda Garcia in New Hampshire’s 2nd congressional district. According to the Associated Press, with roughly one-third of the votes counted, Kuster was leading 55.9 percent to 44.1 percent.
Polls leading up to the election had showed Kuster leading Garcia by 7 to 10 points.
The race attracted considerable national attention because of Garcia, whom the Republican National Committee held up as a rising star within the Party. Garcia presented herself as a departure from your grandfather’s GOP, which she said had been perceived in the country as “being populated mostly by old, white men.”
I was not aware of the statement made about “old white people” and I think it is just as offensive as the statement made about her, by a Democrat. I think that Marlinda’s chances of winning might have been hampered by that; not to mention, New Hampshire is a very liberal state — as is most of the northeastern seaboard anymore.
I wish her the best and hope that she does try to run for office again; I just hope that she keeps race out of it.
BREAKING NEWS : GOVERNOR RICK SNYDER WINS!!!
The story via WXYZ-TV:
Incumbent Rick Snyder has been re-elected as Michigan’s governor based on returns from key precincts around the state of Michigan, 7 Action News pollsters say.
Snyder defeated Democrat Mark Schauer after a tight race early in the polls.
In key precincts, Snyder defeated Schauer with 53 percent of the vote to 46 percent.
This is very good news. I voted a straight Republican Party ticket, as I simply do not trust the democrats to run this state again. Jennifer Granholm ruined that for me.
Let’s hope that Republicans pick up enough seats to take back the Senate, so that we can get back to running the Country.
Get out and vote!
About that so-called Republican “war on women”
It is a bunch of bunk. Check out, no other, than retiring Tom Harkin, a Democratic Party Senator’s true feelings on women.

The Story:
Retiring Democratic Iowa Sen. Tom Harkin says that Iowa voters shouldn’t be fooled because Joni Ernst is “really attractive” and “sounds nice.”
“In this Senate race, I’ve been watching some of these ads,” Harkin said at the Story County Democrats’ annual fall barbecue last week honoring the retiring senator. “And there’s sort of this sense that, ‘Well, I hear so much about Joni Ernst. She is really attractive, and she sounds nice.’”
“Well I gotta to thinking about that. I don’t care if she’s as good looking as Taylor Swift or as nice as Mr. Rogers, but if she votes like Michele Bachmann, she’s wrong for the state of Iowa.”
If the democrats want to fight against so-called sexism; they should try doing that in their own party. In a moment of rare candor, Mika from Morning Joe says the following: (H/T HotAir.com)
It is amazing as to just how the Democrats and some Republicans, have become so removed from the real world anymore. It is truly a site to behold. As Mika said, could you even remotely imagine, if a Republican had said that? His career would be over in politics. But, yet, the Democrat does not suffer any repercussions. In fact, some liberal bloggers are cheering his comments on, you can see that below in the link roundup.

US Marine Andrew Tahmooressi released from Mexican Jail
This is very good news.
The story:
TIJUANA — A Mexican federal district judge in Tijuana on Friday ordered the immediate release of a U.S. Marine veteran being held in Baja California on federal weapons charges.
Andrew Tahmooressi, who was on trial for crossing the border with ammunition and three loaded weapons on March 31, returned to the United States Friday night and flew to his family’s home in Florida.
The decision by the Mexican Attorney General’s Office to cease its prosecution of Tahmooressi brings to a close a high-profile case that has resounded far beyond the border.
In the United States, it prompted calls for Tahmooressi’s release from politicians, veterans groups and conservative talk show hosts. But for months there had been an impasse, as Mexican federal prosecutors insisted that the case be resolved through the courts — not through diplomatic or political pressure.

The coverage of this has been interesting. Only two conservative blogs are covering it. As for the loony left, NPR was surprisingly fair in its coverage; but, as always, the anti-American, Anti-military left covered the story in typical fashion. The loony left is about as bad as the neoconservative right anymore. A very simply and quite idiotic parody of itself.
So glad that I am an only child
This was my thought after reading these three postings over at Protein Wisdom, ran by Jeff Goldstein
Basically, Jeff’s brother is severely screwing his Mother, who is dying with cancer, over. I give Jeff credit, he is handling that little situation very well and with much restraint. Because if it was me; I would be going to florida, finding the nearest gun store, picking up a nice .357 and a box of shells.
My best to Jeff in getting that little situation straightened out.
D’oh! Anthony Weiner on twitter….again.
The first comment from the story:
oh — he understands twitter. it’s marriage, he’s a bit fuzzy on.
haha! 😆
But, when America does it, it is perfectly fine
I read with slight bemusement Ed Morrissey’s piece on ISIS, which is another name of Al-Qaeda, which you can click here to read; supposedly having chemical weapons in Iraq. I also read how horrible it is and so forth.
Which leads me to ask a simple question: Was it just as horrible, when the United States used bombs with depleted uranium in them against the Iraqis when we invaded that Country in 2003? …and don’t tell me there was none of that; it has been confirmed many times over in photo documentation and in reporting on the ground there.
What also bemused me, is the neoconservatives steadfastly refuse to admit, that ISIS and al-Qaeda in Iraq was a sole creation of Bush’s invasion of Iraq in 2003. If anyone says, “Bush created this mess.” All you get is the Tourette’s disorder-sounding “blame bush!” repeated over and over and over. It is true that Obama’s handling of the Iraqi and Afghan wars has been piss poor, and his inaction created a resurgence of terrorist activity in Iraq and abroad.
However, Bush did start this thing and when it all blew up again, Bush and his Jewish neocon cronies were safely out of office. Now, what will have to happen is seeing that Obama is basically trying to avoid directly confronting with the radical Islamists, another Republican hawk will have to come in and clean up what is left of Bush’s created mess — that is if that person is able to do that! It is a vicious cycle and one that we have repeated time and time again over the years.
Please, do not misunderstand me here; the Democrats are bad news, the policies of Obama and his neo-leftists cronies on the hill have been creating havoc on this Country’s economy. However, as myself and Pastor Chuck Baldwin know; the Republicans of today are no better, the hawkish Jewish wilsonians are just as bad, if not worse than the neo-leftists that are now in the White House. If you think that someone like Ted Cruz with a Reagan-style of foreign policy or someone like Rand Paul with the reasonable foreign policy will get in the White House, you are very highly mistaken. The Jacobin Wilsonian neoconservative hawks control that party and its purse strings and have done so since about 1989 or even before that. Conservatives tend to forget, that Reagan was a fluke; someone who the GOP establishment tried like heck to tamper down and discredit — and thankfully failed to do. The GOP establishment will never make that mistake again, trust me.
So, barring a major uprising in this Country, to unseat both of these entrenched political parties; we are stuck with what we have: two corrupt political parties, hell-bent on putting us into a course of absolute ruin. It is as fatalistic view, it is grim and tends to be depressing — but it, simply, is the truth.
