I’m trying to make an old Intel Celeron 434 MHZ Machine run faster. she’s got like 96 megs of memory…
It’s running Windows XP. I did a format/Reinstall, got Service Pack 3 on it.
I also did some neat little tricks to make the thing run faster. Like back of the Hardware acceleration on the video, which helped quite a bit, turned the Hard Disk Write Cache off. I’m not sure if that helped or not.
I need to go through and see if I need to delete the Service Pack back up stuff…
So, if you’re wondering why I’m not writing novels today, this is why. I might make $20.00 bucks off of this, if I’m lucky.

Custom Jobs can be done, If you’ve got PC issues, I can fix them. I do fresh installs on Window’s XP Pro. I also install good virus software as well. I can do installs on Windows Vista, But you have to buy it. I can run a diagnostic on your machine to tell you which version your machine can handle.
I’ve kind of wanted to do computer work like this, but just never got round to hunting for customers. I figure that I cannot find work, so, I’ll work for myself.
