WTF Blogger????

My damn template is screwed up and naturally flippin’ Blogger doesn’t have any dad-blasted real tech support.

Was displaying fine when I woke up this morning and now it’s foo-barbed. What bull-puckey!

I was removing posts to see if that was the problem, and it’s not.

I swear, if I had the cash on hand, I would have my hosting and WordPress Blog so fast, lighting would strike.

Fucking Blogger, FIX YOUR Crap!!

Update: Hmm…. Naturally, when I post, Bitching a Blue streak, it fixes itself. LOL…

Sorry Feith, A screw up, is a screw up!

Douglass Feith attempts to justify a screw up.

Everyone now knows that the CIA’s intelligence about Iraqi weapons of mass destruction was deeply flawed. (It was a diplomatic and political disaster that Rice and all the other top Bush administration officials relied on erroneous intelligence – though they did so in good faith.) Rice deserves credit for stressing here the gaps and uncertainties in U.S. intelligence – The Corner on National Review Online

The only thing rice deserves credit for is knowingly disseminating bad (some say false, but I digress…) intelligence to the American people.

In other words, A screw up, is a screw up, is a screw up. There is NO justifying it at all. Period.

Comedy Legend George Carlin has passed.

I mentioned this last night on my other Blog, “Chuck’s Place”, But I think it is worth reporting here as well.

Yesterday, a Comedy Legend left us. George Carlin Passed away from Heart Failure.

Quote:

Comedian George Carlin, a counter-culture hero famed for his routines about drugs, dirty words and the demise of humanity, died of heart failure at a Los Angeles-area hospital on Sunday. He was 71.

Carlin, who had a history of heart and drug-dependency problems, died at Saint John’s Health Center in Santa Monica about 6 p.m. PDT (9 p.m. EDT) after being admitted earlier in the afternoon for chest pains, spokesman Jeff Abraham told Reuters.

You know, not to editorialize or anything like that, but George Carlin was just funny, damn funny. Whatever you thought about his politics is irrelevant at this point.

There were two types of Comedians, one’s who took the high road, and those who just didn’t give a rats ass and did what they wanted. George Carlin was the second type. He broke rules, pushed buttons, general made the entertainment establishment very uncomfortable. He followed Lenny Bruce’s lead. He also ended up in jail, because some fascist pig decided that George’s comedy was too dirty.

George represented what the good majority of America people were thinking, it was just turned up, really, really loud

It is always been said, that the schmucks live forever and the good guys die young. George’s death proves that.

Rest in Peace.

Anti-Obama attack Ad.

John McCain’s flunky Michael Goldfarb says that there’s no Conservative 527’s?

Well, exactly do you call, this?

If that isn’t a 527 attack ad, can someone please explain to me, what is?

Mini Book Review

Just a little note about a Book that I read.

My Mom handed me a copy of Dwayne Johnson’s Book, “The Rock Says“.

I realize that this book is now 8 years old. But, I read it this past weekend. I know can tell you, that I have a better understanding and can appreciate what those guys go though to be Pro-Wrestlers.

It offers a uncensored look inside the world of WWE and professional wrestling. It also gives an unvarnished look into the life of Dwayne Johnson and gives a very telling look at “The Rock’s” personal life.

It is indeed a nice book to read. It is written in Johnson’s own gritty, down to earth style of writing. I recommend it to anyone.

Francis H. Powers Staten Island G.O.P. Candidate Dies

This via the Corner:

This comes via the NYT:

The candidate endorsed by Republican leaders to run for a Congressional seat being vacated by Representative Vito J. Fossella died on Sunday morning at his home in Staten Island, party leaders said.

The candidate, Francis H. Powers, a board member of the Metropolitan Transportation Authority, was a retired Wall Street executive and an active contributor to Republican candidates. Mr. Powers, 67, died in his sleep of natural causes, family members said.

“As you can imagine, this is a very difficult time for our family,” Mr. Powers’s son, Brian, said in a statement. “We would appreciate privacy at this time as we make the necessary arrangements.”

Mr. Powers had been selected to run in the November election to succeed Mr. Fossella, who has held the seat since 1997 but who decided not to run for re-election after a personal scandal emerged. Mr. Fossella is the only Republican representing New York City in Congress.

And of course…:

National Democratic leaders have made it clear that they view winning the seat, which has been in Republican hands for 28 years, as a priority. Earlier this month, Representative Chris Van Hollen of Maryland, who heads the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, visited New York to say his party would do “whatever is necessary to win this campaign.”

I wonder what that would be? Maybe like make up lies and smear people and publish pamphlets with false info on them?

Some Sad News from Ron Paul’s Campaign For Liberty

This is truly some very sad news.

Quote:

The Ron Paul family received some truly sad news yesterday. Eric Davenport, one of the Presidential Campaign’s most important volunteers, was tragically killed in a traffic accident over the weekend. Eric and his young wife, Danielle, spent countless hours working in the South Florida RP ‘08 headquarters. Together, they made hundreds of calls, stuffed thousands of envelopes and walked neighborhoods tirelessly supporting liberty. They even took an extended leave of absence from their jobs so they could support Dr. Paul full time.

The Davenport’s committment to the campaign was hard on the families pocketbook, and Eric’s untimely death leaves Danielle and their two small boys facing tremendous financial hardship. We can’t bring Eric back, but we can help these good people in their time of need.

Dr. Paul and Carol today sent Danielle a personal check. This money is a nice start, but your help is also needed. Any contribution, large or small, would be tremendously appreciated.

For privacies sake, I am not posting the families address on our website. Please either mail contributions to 837 West Plantation Drive, Clute, TX 77531 and we will forward them, or call our office at 979-265-3034 to get the address from our staff. Checks should be made out to Danielle Davenport.

Thank you for reading, I hope you can help – Freedom lovers in need -  (Via Ron Paul’s Campaign For Liberty)

Thoughts and Prayers to the Davenport Family and to those in the Ron Paul campaign that knew them.
