After a good Chkdisk, a massive defragmenting of the Hard Drive and a good clean up of the Window Visa registry. I think I have finally ironed out all the issues that this laptop was having. The main problem was speed; the thing was just running way too slow and I knew why, I just did not want to lose a day productivity. Well, finally today I finally decided that enough was enough and I went ahead did the much need maintenance.
The problem was I had put this off for way too long; as in off for a couple of months. I also removed some programs that were essentially taking up space of the drive and were not being used. I am a bit funny like that, if I am not using it, I usually want the program or whatever off the drive. Well, I slacked a little in that Department. I could tell it too. This Laptop was running way too slow for what it is; processor wise.
Anyhow, there it is. The reason I have not been writing today. I am going to push out a few postings. Tomorrow is the eighth year anniversary of the 9/11. I will have that posting on the front page only. None others until 9/12 @ 00:00 UTC.
