No, Ron Paul will not elected President

Need a few reasons? Here’s twelve good reasons.

However, Panic is setting in in Iowa.

Ed Morrissey says for good reason too:

How likely would it be that a publisher made a million dollars in revenues from his enterprise, managed to employ his family at the business, and yet never bothered to look at its product?  Zero, even if one buys the argument that Paul allowed other people to ghost-write the newsletter under his own name and in the first person without ever reviewing their output to make sure that it didn’t contradict his own political stands.  And even if people are prepared to swallow all of that, the fact remains that Paul made millions as a publisher peddling vile, racist tracts and insane conspiracy theories, which any Democratic opponent would produce in toto during a general election, even disregarding Team Obama’s predilection for oppo research.

It’s not just the top job that’s at risk, either.  With a man like Paul and his newsletter baggage on a national ticket, how would that help Republicans win Senate and House races around the country?  It’s no wonder that some in the Iowa GOP have begun to “panic,” and it’s probably not limited to Iowa, either.

Not only this, but go have a look at one blogger’s site, after she dared to speak out against Paul. Also, look here at more of it.

Now , honestly, do Ron Paul’s followers and supporters really honestly believe that this is helping their dear leader’s changes of being elected President? Now, I will let it be known; I do not support Wilsonian foreign policy and I happen to agree with Ron Paul’s stance on domestic issues —- however, I find this sort of behavior to be deplorable. I mean, to go onto a Jewish woman’s website and act like that? My God.  Surprised smile

I also do not support Ron Paul’s style of foreign policy disengagement either. Some call it Isolationism; I think it is worse than that, it is disengagement from the world and we cannot afford that, at all.  “Peace through strength” is what I believe in, it worked for Ronald Reagan and it worked for me.  Anything more than this, is not Conservative and anything less is irresponsible.

This is why I do not support the man; because his supporters are just flat out batty insane. The sick part is, Ron Paul will not condemn them, nor will he ask them to stop with the craziness and the poll stuffing and fraud. It is sick and it makes the political process in America, to the rest of the world, look like a silly carnival show.

So, yeah, Ron Paul won’t be President and for very good reasons too.

The Head Nork keeled over dead

Yes, the old crazy Nork is dead…..finally.

You can go here and watch the Norks boo hoo their eyes out over it.  What gets me is people actually believe that video is real. Eye rolling smile People… It is propaganda. Heck, even Bill O’Reilly was smart enough to figure that out!

Either way, they say his kid is as crazy as his Father, if not worse. However, “the Stash” says that Nork’s Military might not be to welcoming:

North Korean dictator Kim Jong Il’s death opens a period of intense danger and risk, but also potentially enormous opportunity for America and its allies. Kim’s health had obviously been poor for some time, and his regime has worked to ensure an orderly transition to his son, Kim Jong Eun. The Kim family and its supporters, with everything obviously at stake, will work strenuously to convey stability and control. Indeed, the official North Korea news agency has already referred to Jong Eun as “the great successor to the revolutionary cause.”

But the loathsome Democratic Peoples Republic of Korea (DPRK) is not a constitutional monarchy like Britain. While DPRK founder Kim Il Sung was powerful enough to impose his son, no guarantees exist that the North’s military, the real power, will meekly accept rule by his utterly inexperienced grandson.

Under the surface in Pyongyang, the maneuvering has almost certainly already begun. There is no reason whatever to believe that opinion among the military leadership will be unanimous, either to support or oppose the regime’s succession plan. In fact, the early reports are that Kim Jong Il’s death went undisclosed publicly for days, perhaps indicating a power struggle already under way. Many generals may simply not accept that Leader 3.0 is competent or merits their support.

While an authoritarian DPRK state, armed with nuclear, chemical and biological weapons, is a threat regionally and globally, a fractured DPRK, leaderless and perhaps descending into civil war, is an even greater threat. The prospect of conflict among various military and other security forces, which like the Kim family also have everything on the line, is real. Control over the weapons of mass destruction and other key assets (missile launch sites and storage facilities, communications facilities, the loyalty of major military formations such as the artillery, and armor massed near the borders) will be essential.

I would head on over and read the rest of that, if I were you. Hopefully, John Bolton is wrong. Because we just finished one war, we don’t need another one. Although, I doubt that anything big will become of it. The Nork’s are not going to risk ruining everything that the previous two leaders built up.

Either way it should be interesting to watch.

Change of plans

All right people, here is the deal. I realize that I said that I was done blogging and to be quite honest with you, I wish I were done writing about politics. However, I need to do something. I am getting slothful in my downtime here. Besides all that, many of you, not very many, but enough of you —- did read my writings on the other blog. Because of this and because I can promote the thing on twitter and other social outlets, I can get some sort of readership here.

Let me be clear, I will not be an echo chamber for the Republican Party establishment, nor will I play the echo chamber game for the “right wing” Blogosphere. I am not an ideological zealot. I am a pragmatist. Sometimes, my options will differ from what the rest of the blogosphere is saying; I make absolutely no apologies for that, at all.

I will try to write everything in MS-Word and try to sound like I have a thread of common sense between my ears. One of my biggest failings as a blogger was that I relied on my own ability to write things freehandedly, which made me sound like an idiot at times. However, I will not apologize for my political stances. I will offend some I cannot change that; but what I can change is the perception of me as a person.

I Hope that this will be a good exercise and that it is a profitable venture for me.

Video: The True Face of Islam

I guess I am supposed to be shocked by this video. But, I am not. I have never bought the lie of “Moderate” Islam. Americanized Islam maybe, which is peaceful; because American Muslims know what will happen to them, if they start trying to start their stupidity here.

However, the true middle eastern Islam is right here on full display: (H/T to Pamela Geller)

This, by the way is Sheik Ahmad Abu Quddum from so-called moderate Jordanian Tahrir party; who is obviously arguing with people who thinks he is crazier than a psycho ward on Saturday night!

If that’s moderate, I would hate like hell to see radical! Surprised smile

Farewell to a intellectual great

I am coming out of my self-imposed hiatus to bid farewell to someone whom I disagreed with greatly.  I am referring to the passing of the avowed atheist Christopher Hitchens.  Admittedly, I disagreed very highly with his denial of living God; However, I admired his stance on Muslims and their desire to overthrow of American and western values.  Not only this; the man was absolutely an intellectual giant.  Something that is much lacking in the Conservative and even Christian circles of this day and age of dumb-downed society.
I believe the man should be respected in this sphere of existence for his refusing to back down from his political and personal philosophies.  His rejection of the existence of a higher power is one that will be remembered and admired by some.  It seems so unfair, that someone of that intellectual caliber would be taken down in such a horrible way.  I will not, unlike someone on the Christian right, use this as a terrible opportunity to slander the man to advance a Religious agenda.  There are some, that would partake in such high school style of idiocy and I will simply use the words of the risen Saviour of the World, Jesus Christ; “They have their reward.”
I wish nothing but the very best to the Hitchens family, especially to his Brother; who must be going through hell right now.
Rest in peace Hitch; you genius bastard you.

Game Over

This is not something that I actually enjoy writing. However, it is time to face facts and just do the right thing. I have been thinking about this for a long time, after writing about politics for six years; for one as a left of center populist type and then for five as a right of center populist type, it is time to hang it up and quit.

This is because I have become so cynical. The entire Tea Party movement was a horrible joke; there was never any intention by the Republican Party to heed the calls of the Tea Party for no more business as usual. The Republican Party is now running a bunch of establishment candidates; even Bachmann is not as “Tea Party” type as some people might believe. She is totally beltway as they come, believe me.

In addition, Blogging has reached the zenith of its cycle. The only people still blogging, are people who are professionals. There is just no room for traditional Conservative voices like mine anymore. I said it in my previous blog entry, Ronald Reagan Conservatism is dead and it has been replaced with the Neo-Conservative, Pro-War, Israel-First manure that pawns itself off as Conservative.

I had hoped that after the Presidency of George W. Bush that the Republican Party would once again find its mooring, as a Party that believed in defending America first and not defending other Nations first or fighting other Nation’s battles for them. Unfortunately, that was not to be and it seems now, that the Republicans are now ringing the bells of war against another sovereign nation —- Iran.

This is not to say that I hate Israel or Jews; that is a ridiculous accusation and it is not even remotely true. I just despise the idiots who say that anyone who criticizes those who are Zionists is somehow Anti-Semitic. This is a tactic of those people, and this video here, proves that. Please note: I do not agree with that video maker’s support of Palestine. I detest the Arabs as much as I do those who abuse the Semite-Card.

I was going to quit when my blog Politicalbyline.com went down; but my Mother suggested to me that I continue writing and that I shall, just not on a blog anymore. I will be submitting various editorials to some websites that I happen to enjoy reading and have wanted to contribute to for a long time. This blogging adventure was a fun one, while it lasted. I, again, have just become too cynical for it. I despise hypocrisy and I am seeing it on full display in the Republican Party.

Therefore, it is time to stop, the battle was worth it, and I fought for what I thought was right. However, there is no winning with these people. They are well funded and I am not. In addition, they will stop at nothing, until you are discredited and smeared beyond recognition. With these people, the truth is not important, only their idiotic propaganda.

For those of you who wish to remain fighting; I commend you. However, I cannot continue.

Good Night and Good Luck.

I’m still around…..

I just have not been in much of a mood to write anything. I guess you could say that the reality of losing my other blog and being remanded to the confines of a sucky BlogSpot blog has finally set in.

I really should not say that though; PoliticalByline.com had ran its course, it was like a sitcom really, and I had just felt that it had ran its course. Someday, I might put the thing back up as an archive to what I really did, which I felt was quite a bit of work, for little or no pay; but I digress. The problem was, with that blog, my enemies or my critics were defining me and I just grew tired of that.

I have been really trying to put my nose back in the “good book,” that being the Bible. I have really been trying to stick to a daily reading discipline. Heck, I have a audio DVD of Alexander Scorby and I love reading along with him. I will be honest though, I have been failing miserably at reading everyday. Sad smileI just cannot bring myself to do it; and when I want to do it, something else comes up. I know, it is no excuse; but right now, my head is just not into it. it is kind of like this blog and politics, I know I should be writing at least something about what is going on politically now; but, my head is just not into it at all. I could really care less anymore about any of it. The Republican Party, is going to put into the general election a establishment beltway seasoned person and the GOP is going to lose in 2012 and we’ll have four more years of Obama to kick around. Which has become a bit of a cottage industry for the right.

Further more, I just do not believe what I have to say about politics really matters anymore; and my site numbers prove that; nobody gives two flips about what I have to say. Which is why I really am not into the blogging thing anymore. I admit it, I rode a way for a while and now that little fake period, that being the tea-party, is over; and we’re back to business as usual in the beltway.

So, there you are; where I am at, and where my head is, as of late. It isn’t in politics, that is for sure.
