Obama justifies drone strikes, left and right whine-fest ensues

I get a kick out of the left and the right sometimes. I am saying this, because of this story right here.

Via NBC News:

A confidential Justice Department memo concludes that the U.S. government can order the killing of American citizens if they are believed to be “senior operational leaders” of al-Qaida or “an associated force” — even if there is no intelligence indicating they are engaged in an active plot to attack the U.S.

The 16-page memo, a copy of which was obtained by NBC News, provides new details about the legal reasoning behind one of the Obama administration’s most secretive and controversial polices: its dramatically increased use of drone strikes against al-Qaida suspects abroad, including those aimed at American citizens, such as the  September 2011 strike in Yemen that killed alleged al-Qaida operatives Anwar al-Awlaki and Samir Khan. Both were U.S. citizens who had never been indicted by the U.S. government nor charged with any crimes.

…and of course, an all out whine-fest started on the left and the right. Which totally cracks this independent blogger up. My question to the left whiners is this; are you not the same people that bitched and whined for 8 solid years about a war that was basically started over a false premise? I mean, I happen to be one of the bloggers, who sat and wrote about how damned horrible this war in Iraq really was and how it was senseless that we were sending American soldiers to die in some foreign land, because George W. Bush was given some bad intelligence, as we all know now. You see, I started blogging in 2006, as a left of center blogger; and I remember how the left used that war as their pet issue. Those same people quickly dropped that issue, when President Obama took office.

These same people are now complaining, because the United States has the ability now to send in unmanned drones to do the dirty work, without having to send in groups of troops to risk getting killed. Wake up and smell the coffee people, you do not want terrorists blowing stuff up in your cities, and you do not want war; but yet, when technology makes a way for the USA to get rid of the terrorists, without war, without our Country’s boots on the ground — you complain about it! Here’s the memo — stop your silly bellyaching and be glad we have a way to get rid of these terrorists, who want to kill you and your little puppy dog too.

Now, as for the right; I really find this one to be particularly hilarious as well. The right is in full on, “Oh no!  Obama has drones and because he is black and a democrat, he might just use it on we white Conservatives!” 😯 Well, that is not exactly what they are saying; but it is basically what they are thinking. My question to these uppity white people, who are so scared of this black President, because he happens to have drones in the air, ridding the world of Islamic Terrorists is this; where in the heck were you idiots, when Bush was doing this same very damned thing? You were praising him, that is what! But, because Obama is black and is a Democrat, the Conservative concern tolls are out in full force.

Again, I hate to be such an a-hole about this; but I have blogging for 7 long years people and this here really cracks me up. The steaming pile of hypocrisy on the left and the right both stink to the high heavens. Sometimes, some people just need to truly shut the hell up and be glad that the American Government is protecting us and not having to kill our American soldiers in the process.

That is all…

Ron Paul proves to the whole world that he is an Anti-American twit.

…and an Military-hating Son-of-a-bitch.

Go Read: Disgusting: Ron Paul attacks murder victim, war hero Chris Kyle; Updated | Twitchy.

I do not link to that site often, and I happen to agree with the Ron Paul’s position on economics; but this was obviously not written by Paul himself, but by some smart alleck staffer. Either way, it was low-class and Paul should apologize for it and fire the staffer involved.

Update: Now a memeorandum thread.

Update #2: I just thought of this, and I figured I would bring it up, before someone else did: Yes, I did vote for Ron Paul in the 2012 primary. I did so, because, then, I felt that Ron Paul was about the only person that I could actually vote for. I did, however, vote for Mitt Romney in the general election. The election that the Republicans lost, because of the stupidity of the Republican Party. Just to clarify: I believe that Ron Paul does have some good ideas on economic policy; it is just his attitude towards this military and towards any sort of foreign policy, outside of isolationism, is simply off-putting; this little remark is a perfect example of that.

Is the United States Government killing well-known gun advocates?

Normally, I do not put much stock into such things. But this story here from Natural News makes my hair stand on end.

Reading stuff like that, makes me wish I had a nice house on about a 100 acres of land in Northern Michigan, fully stocked with guns, ammo and food.

Again, I am not into scaring anyone; but this stuff is even giving me the creeps now. 😯

What Dan Delzell is missing is….

I’ll get to that point, but first:

The Boy Scouts of America require all of their members to take an oath promising to be “morally straight.” Now the organization appears to be getting pressured to change their previous position on homosexual behavior. And it sounds like they may be planning to cave into the pressure. Maybe a time out is in order here. Before this organization rushes ahead and makes such a radical change, it would be wise for them to consider the bigger picture. Either fornication, adultery and homosexual behavior are morally wrong according to God in the Bible….or they are not wrong. If those activities are morally wrong, then the Boy Scouts are being true to their mission by discouraging their members from pursuing those immoral acts. If this organization which preaches “morals” and “character” is determined to be more specific in defining a sexual agenda, then perhaps that is actually a good thing. Maybe it is long overdue. Homosexuals make up a very small percentage of the public. On the other hand, a large number of Boy Scouts will face plenty of temptations in the area of fornication….and one day, adultery. Maybe sexuality is an area the Boy Scouts should be addressing….but that is really up to them….and their mission….and their understanding of what they believe it means to be “morally straight.” — Boy Scouts Struggle to Define Sexual Morality

What Dan Delzell is missing is this; The Boy Scouts is no longer a Christian organization at all. At one time, the Boy Scouts tought children a sense of morality and ethics, which was, sometimes, reinforced by a Christian Home and in some cases, Church attendance. But the Boy Scouts has long since abdicated that positions. Which lead to the creation of Boy Scout-type groups in some of the major Denominations. Like Royal Rangers and other such groups.  The Baptists call it something else, and I forget what it is.

The truth is that, if Parents want to teach responsibility and morality; and yes; Christianity — they should do it themselves and not expect a group like the Boy Scouts or even a Church or School. It is not their jobs. It is the job of the parents. The point I am making here is that morality and yes, even religion should start in the home, not in a Church or anywhere else. It does not always happen that way; it did not with me. I was saved at a Christian School and I am grateful for that.

If President Obama is smart, he won’t even blink

Interesting story released on Sunday:

NEW YORK (MarketWatch) — Iran on Sunday said that Tehran would be interested in participating in bilateral talks on its nuclear program, so long as there is “honest intention,” The Wall Street Journal reported. “If there is an honest intention on the other side, then we will take that into consideration,” Iran’s Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi told a panel discussion at an annual international security conference in Germany. The minister’s reply came in response to a renewed offer by the U.S. for talks, which have been led by the five permanent members of the United Nations Security Council. The next round of discussions would take place in Kazakhstan on Feb. 25, Salehi said. A European Union spokesperson said the EU has been trying to set a data and location for the talks since early last month, the newspaper said. The U.S. has accused Iran of attempting to develop nuclear weapons. Iran says its program is peaceful, intended to develop nuclear power to generate electricity. The U.S. has imposed sanctions, designed to force Iran to abandon its nuclear program, that have crippled Iran’s economy. —- Iranian minister says nuclear talks possible – MarketWatch

If President Obama is smart, he would not even blink one iota. This could be a bluff to see what the United States of America will do. If the US does move to talk with them; they will look weak in the eyes of the international muslim community. The US should stick to their demands and not devaite from the rigid demands.

Just my opinion.

Let ’em start their own damned group

Once again the tampon Femi-Nazis want to change everything.

A Florida economic group’s new logo has sparked an unintended gender debate among business leaders. Enterprise Florida has unveiled its new logo: the word “FLORIDA” written in green letters, picturing an orange necktie as the letter “I.” The tag line reads, “The Perfect Climate For Business.” But some female business leaders are calling the logo sexist, since neckties tend to be gender-specific. “It’s clearly a strong visual that business and men go together,” Susan Stackhouse, CEO of Stellar Partners Inc., told the Tampa Bay Business Journal. Sally Grant, a Sunrise, Fla., business owner, said the agency that works to lure new businesses to Florida might as well tack on “for men” to the new logo’s tag line, “The perfect climate for business,” the Sun Sentinel reports. — Feminists deem economic group’s necktie logo ‘sexist’ – Washington Times

The group is unbowed:

Enterprise Florida Public Relations Manager Sean Helton disagrees, telling Fox 35 the company has no intentions of changing the logo.
“We feel confident in the brand, as a clear and effective message to both businesses in the state and worldwide, that Florida is a top destination for business,” he said.

Which is a nice way of saying, “Suck it bitches, we are not changing anything!” Which is what they should have said in the first place. Idiot Femi-Nazis, I detest them with every fiber of my damned being. 😡

Video: Why I am not a big fan of Sean Hannity or Eric Bolling

Because of crap like this here: (H/T MMFA)

I mean, it is one thing to report the news and say that job numbers are horrible. Great, fine, they are; I agree with it. But to sit and actually accuse the President of the United States of “cooking the books” on the job numbers is just asinine. Also, let me also say this; if Obama is doing it, then George W. Bush did it too.

The truth is, the Government can never really know actually how many people are out of work. The only way that the United States Government could really know how many people are really out of work, would be to do some sort special survey to every citizen. This would cause every Constitutionalist  Republican, Conservative and civil libertarian to lose their minds and holler, “Invasion of Privacy!” So, no, that will never happen.

Again, this is why I avoid partisan shows like Hannity on Fox and anything over on MSNBC. They are just too damned partisan for my liking. I do, however, like to watch Bill O’Reilly. You would never hear that sort of tripe come out of O’Reilly’s mouth, ever. He just would not say that sort of thing.

Again, I am not saying that the entire Fox News channel network is partisan; there are some who are not, but the ones who do choose to engage in that sort of partisanship do bring a bad reputation to the network itself. Rupert should put a stop to it. But, he won’t because Roger Ailes loves that sort of a thing and believes it brings them ratings.

Let’s hope that Donald Kaul’s next heart attack is fatal

This way there would be one less liberal progressive Democrat idiot walking around and drawing excess air. I say this, because of Donald Kaul wrote this stupidity right here:

Donald Kaul in the Des Moines Register:

Declare the NRA a terrorist organization and make membership illegal. Hey! We did it to the Communist Party, and the NRA has led to the deaths of more of us than American Commies ever did. (I would also raze the organization’s headquarters, clear the rubble and salt the earth, but that’s optional.) Make ownership of unlicensed assault rifles a felony. If some people refused to give up their guns, that “prying the guns from their cold, dead hands” thing works for me.

via PJ Media » Modern Democratic ‘Fire-Eaters’.

…and we that disagree with the idea that guns should be outlawed are the violent ones. 🙄

I hope the idiot strokes out and dies, quickly. 😡

Just saying all, just saying….

I figure if he can be an ass, so can I. 😛
