The Murderer – Lindsey Sparkles Lashayla – Yeah, she’s a real sparkler, ain’t she? The Bitch.

Police identified the suspect as Sparkles Lindsey, 22, of Austell. Cobb jail records, however, identify her as Lindsey Sparkles Lashayla. She has been charged with murder and aggravated assault and is being held in the Cobb jail.
Police say Lashayla fatally shot Kim Kilgore, 21, with a handgun in the parking lot at the Shiloh Green Apartments off Shiloh Road. Kilgore was transported to WellStar Kennestone Hospital, where she later died.

The incident involved two carloads of females and an altercation started near the gate to the apartment complex, said Sgt. Dana Pierce, a Cobb police spokesman. Police do not have information indicating the suspect and the victim previously knew each other, Pierce said.

“There was a whole lot going on out there,” he said. “You have two carloads or groups of people who are at one another.”
Kilgore was studying communications at Kennesaw State University, where she was a former member of the Gamma Phi Beta sorority. The sorority issued a statement on Twitter Friday about the Paulding County High School graduate: “Our prayers go out to our dear friend Kim Kilgore!” The university also issued a statement, expressing condolences and announcing that it was preparing to offer grief counseling for those who knew Kilgore.

You think that this made any sort of National headlines? Nope. None, Zero, Nada. Not even Matt Drudge could be bothered.

Such a backward world we live in. 🙄

Update: The truth comes out about what really happened. In response to one of my commenters basically saying that she had it coming; reader “A friend” says:

I was there, and you weren’t. I watched the entire thing happen. your friend sparkles, wasn’t in the car that was involved in the road rage. She was called as back up, pulled the gun, and ran. She didnt stay long enough to say anything or have anything said to her. Don’t make assumptions when you have no clue what went on, all you have is hear-say.

So, in other words, this woman put herself into the situation and murdered this woman. Interesting.

  3. My ex girlfriend was in the car next to Kim when she was shot. “Sparkles” came out of nowhere to commit murder. She was not part of any “road rage”. Sparkles came to the scene, didn’t say a word, fired one shot into the face of Kim, and left in a hurry as a cowardly piece of trash. Those are FACTS. The two “girls” that instigated the original trouble said “backup is coming!” And that backup was Sparkles. All three are guilty of MURDER MURDER MURDER and need to be judged as such.

  5. When it’s white on black crime it’s national news but when it’s black on white crime their is absolutely no mention of anything… tired of the double standards…
