The biggest line B.S. that I have heard at Hotair.com in a long time

This comes via Jazz Shaw, (who is too big of a coward to write under his real name) who once called me a “racist digbag” on twitter:

We’ve heard more than our share of complaints about the fact that Hot Air generally holds open registration periods which limit the pool of commenters and that there are strict rules on what can’t be said in the comments on penalty of the ban hammer. (Excessively foul language, threats of violence or to the life of public officials, etc.) Open enrollment always winds up bringing in some people who are only here to troll, but it’s actually our commenters who are faster and better than the editors in identifying them and they are generally removed. By the same token we wind up with any number of people who join up and vigorously espouse some views which run directly contrary to the general, more conservative tone of the site. But as long as they follow the above noted rules, they stick around and get into all sorts of verbal firefights with the rest of the commentariat.

Pardon me a second:

BWAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAW!

*wipes eyes*

Oh man, that was just too rich. *snicker* *snort*

The truth is that if you are a warmongering, Neoconservative, establishment Republican, Israel loving, Bush Loving, Wilsonian, Trotskyite — you will do very well there. But, if you happen to disagree with that viewpoint, you will not last long there. Just ask the supporters of Ron Paul how long that they lasted there, just ask the Paleoconservatives, of whom I agree with, how long they lasted there. Better yet, ask Ed Morrissey about the Libertarian, who wrote of the errors of Wilsonian foreign policy there and basically was never asked to write there again, because it pissed off “the powers that be.”

The truth is, if you do not toe the line and you dare speak out against people like the Kristols and the Podhoretz’s and the rest of the neocon Klan (heh…)  you will not last long there at all. Believe you me; I know, I have been there and done that and got booted, because I DARED to challenge the inane, Trotskyite b.s. that flows from that site like water.

The sickening part? They pawn themselves off as libertarians! Sorry, no, they are not a libertarian blog. Lew Rockwell is a libertarian! Hotair.com is a neocon, establishment Republican blog with some window dressing.

Glenn Beck says that Donald Trump is no conservative

I find this interesting, and I somewhat agree.

The Audio:

The story via NPR:

The rise of Donald Trump as a Republican presidential candidate has surprised many pundits, but not conservative commentator Glenn Beck.

Trump has widened his lead over other Republican presidential candidates in public opinion polls. Other non-professional politicians, including Dr. Ben Carson, a heart surgeon, and Carly Fiorina, the former head of Hewlett-Packard, have also shot ahead of politicians in the polls.

Voters are angry, and they “want somebody just to say it the way they think it — especially if they say it in a non-politically correct way,” Beck says.

Beck, the broadcaster and author, is considered one of the most influential — and loudest — voices in American conservatism. Formerly with Fox News, Beck now hosts a daily radio program and founder of The Blaze, a cable and Internet network. His most recent book is It Is About Islam.

But Beck tells NPR’s Scott Simon that he doesn’t support Trump, and doesn’t think he is a true conservative.

“It’s hard to say you espouse conservative principals and small-government principals when you are saying that you think [the] Canadian health care system works and is wonderful,” he says.

I especially like the part where Glenn Beck talks about civility. As I reported on here, that some people are using Trump’s message to commit violence. Not to mention that some people, who feel that anyone who does not have their nose or other such relevant body part, placed in the anal cavity of Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson; that they are “RAAAAACIST!” Which is basically one of the reasons, why I stopped voting for Democrats.

Here’s what Booman should be using for his logo:

racecardbooman

I thought Booman was smarter than that? I guess not. What makes me laugh is that this booman, from what I hear is some “well to do” entitled white guy, who is calling Donald Trump a racist. 🙄

The Korean peninsula is turning into a powder keg

Because I have been so busy with covering local stuff, moral failings and silly attacks on multi-racial people; I have overlooked the fact that the fit is about to hit the shan in the Korean peninsula. 😯

Via CNN:

Paju, South Korea (CNN)North Korea outlined an ultimatum Friday to its southern neighbor: Stop the “provocations” and “psychological warfare” or pay the price.

“If South Korea does not respond to our ultimatum,” North Korean U.N. ambassador An Myong Hun told reporters, “our military counteraction will be inevitable and that counteraction will be very strong.”

North Korea’s regime, known for being both thin-skinnedand fond of saber rattling, has made plenty of threats before. In fact, articulating derogatory and intimidating words about South Korea and the United States has been more the norm than not for years.

What makes this case different, though, is that two South Korean soldiers have been seriously wounded (by landmines August 4 in the Demilitarized Zone) and that there’s been firing back-and-forth since then. An said Friday that “all the (North Korean) frontline large combined units (have) entered into a wartime state … fully armed to launch any surprise operations and finish their preparations for action.”

Specifically, this threat is tied to cross-border propaganda loudspeakers that South Korea resumed using last week for the first time in a decade. Pyongyang is demanding they be turned off by Saturday evening.

“The situation of the country is now inching closer to the brink of war,” Ji Jae Ryong, North Korean ambassador to China, told journalists in Beijing on Friday.

The part that gets me is that South Korea is actually provoking this whole thing.  If I were President Obama, I would be making a phone call to South Korea’s President and telling her, “Cut the crap, or we don’t lift a finger to assist you.”

The Korean War was one of the worst Wilsonian foreign policy blunders ever, that was given to us, by President Harry Truman. President Truman ended one war, that was declared properly and started another one at the request of the United Nations. We lost many a man on those battlefields, and what did we gain? Nothing. It ended in an armistice.

The President of South Korea is needlessly putting US troops at risk with what she is doing. She should be told to stop; or the United States of America should withdraw our forces from the region and wish them good luck.

The downside to stoking populist rage

Is this right here:

(CNN)Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump said Friday he “would never condone violence” after Boston police said two men beat a homeless man while making anti-immigrant statements.”Donald Trump was right,” the two men said, according to police, as they beat the man with a metal pipe and then urinated on him. “All these illegals need to be deported.”Trump tweeted on Friday that the incident was “terrible.””We need energy and passion, but we must treat each other with respect,” Trump said.

Source: Cops: Invoking Trump, 2 men beat up homeless man – CNNPolitics.com

Trump for his part says this:

He is right, we need to be aware and want to change things; but, beating homeless immigrants is not the way to do that.

Shaun King writes his defense

Well, it seems that Shaun King, the young man accused of posing as a black man, has written his defense; and boy is it ever something to read. I very highly recommend that you read it all too.

Via Daily Kos:

Over the past 72 hours I have been attacked with lies by the conservative media, lies that have been picked up by the traditional media and spread further. I have kept silent at the advice of friends and mentors, but I will do so no longer.

The reports about my race, about my past, and about the pain I’ve endured are all lies. My mother is a senior citizen. I refuse to speak in detail about the nature of my mother’s past, or her sexual partners, and I am gravely embarrassed to even be saying this now, but I have been told for most of my life that the white man on my birth certificate is not my biological father and that my actual biological father is a light-skinned black man. My mother and I have discussed her affair. She was a young woman in a bad relationship and I have no judgment. This has been my lived reality for nearly 30 of my 35 years on earth. I am not ashamed of it, or of who I am—never that—but I was advised by my pastor nearly 20 years ago that this was not a mess of my doing and it was not my responsibility to fix it. All of my siblings and I have different parents. I’m actually not even sure how many siblings I have. It is horrifying to me that my most personal information, for the most nefarious reasons, has been forced out into the open and that my private past and pain have been used as jokes and fodder to discredit me and the greater movement for justice in America. I resent that lies have been reported as truth and that the obviously racist intentions of these attacks have been consistently downplayed at my expense and that of my family.

This is the part that bothers me:

Not one person behind these reports has remotely good intentions—quite the opposite, in fact. Since these articles have been released, my family and I have received constant death threats and nonstop racist harassment. Multiple members of my family have been harassed and we now have been forced to take extra security measures for our safety.

While I think that someone representing themselves as something that they are not, is not a good thing. Someone’s family getting death threats is not a good thing either. I mean, if you have a beef with Shaun, fine. But, attacking his family is out of bounds. 😡 I wrote about this story, because I thought it was newsworthy and not because I wanted someone’s family threatened. I really hope that the blogger that started this is really proud of herself, the bitch. 😡

If I were Shaun King, I would be getting me some legal council and suing the people that wrote this piece, because it rises to the level of slander. Shaun in this piece, mentions his Mother and that he really does love her dearly; which is something that I can totally relate to. I publically apologize to Shaun and his mother for ever even writing about this. Something told me that this was nothing more than politicized slander and I was right about that.

Josh Duggar admits to some very serious mistakes

This is very sad. 🙁

I assume everyone knows what this is about, but for those that do not, here is the story via Fox News Channel:

Josh Duggar has released a statement calling himself “the biggest hypocrite ever” following media reports that he was a paid user of AshleyMadison.com, a dating website for cheating spouses.

The 27-year-old “19 Kids and Counting” star admitted that he has been viewing porn online and was unfaithful to his wife, writing that he’s ashamed of his “double life.”

Hackers said this week that they had released the personal data of AshleyMadison.com users. About 32 million accounts were reportedly affected.

This is not the first scandal for Duggar. Back in May, reports surfaced that he had molested five girls in 2002 and 2003 — including four of his sisters.

The Full statement from the family:

Statement from Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar:

Please see the statement below from our son Josh regarding recent media stories about him. When we learned of this late last night our hearts were broken. As we continue to place our trust in God we ask for your prayers for Josh, Anna, our grandchildren and our entire family.

Statement from Josh Duggar:

I have been the biggest hypocrite ever. While espousing faith and family values, I have been unfaithful to my wife.

I am so ashamed of the double life that I have been living and am grieved for the hurt, pain and disgrace my sin has caused my wife and family, and most of all Jesus and all those who profess faith in Him.

I have brought hurt and a reproach to my family, close friends and the fans of our show with my actions.

The last few years, while publicly stating I was fighting against immorality in our country I was hiding my own personal failures.

As I am learning the hard way, we have the freedom to choose our actions, but we do not get to choose our consequences. I deeply regret all the hurt I have caused so many by being such a bad example.

I humbly ask for your forgiveness. Please pray for my precious wife Anna and our family during this time.

Josh Duggar

Of course, the deranged and godless left are rubbing their hands in glee and are wishing for more like this guy.

My feelings are as follows: I give you the words of the Lord Jesus Christ on this matter.:

Jesus went unto the mount of Olives. And early in the morning he came again into the temple, and all the people came unto him; and he sat down, and taught them. And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst, They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act. Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou? This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not. So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground. And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst. When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee? She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more. Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. – (John 8:1-12 KJV)

UPDATED: Confirmed: Shaun King is a white guy

Update: Shaun King has posted his defense. I wish I had never written this or the previous blog entry.

Remember ol’ Shaun King? It’s confirmed, He be white. 😛

Shaun King

During a segment on #BlackLivesMatters activist Shaun King and the allegation he isn’t black at all, CNN host Don Lemon revealed that he had spoken to a family member of King’s who confirmed he was white.“A family member tells CNN that both of King’s parents are white,”Lemon said on Wednesday night’s edition of CNN Tonight.Conservative websites have also accused King of embellishing or fabricating a racial hate crime during his high school days. The same family member told Lemon that the altercation he had in high school was racially motivated… but because King was “a white guy dating a black girl.” Lemon also revealed that he had a conversation with King about his racial identity. “Initially he did not answer but later referred to himself as biracial,” he said. “But then when I asked him if that’s what it shows on his birth certificate I did not hear back from him. No answer on that.”Source: Family Member Confirms to CNN That Shaun King is White | Mediaite

UPDATED: Again?!?!?: White dude pawning himself off as black

UPDATE: Shaun King has posted his defense. Quite frankly, I wish now that I never had written this or the other blog posting at all.

Oh Boy… this is just too rich. 🙄

Via Breitbart.com:

An investigative blogger has accused Shaun King, a key figure in the Black Lives Matter movement, of misleading media icon Oprah Winfrey by pretending to be biracial in order to qualify for an “Oprah scholarship” to historically black Morehouse College. The blogger says King is white and has been lying about his ethnicity for years.

King is a high-profile campaigner against “police brutality” and “justice correspondent” for the liberal Daily Kos website who told Rebel magazine in 2012 that he was biracial, with the magazine reporting that he is the “son of a Caucasian mother and an African-American father.” He has also described himself as “mixed with a black family” on Twitter.

King has been lionised by the press, praised as hero of civil rights and social activism. He has written extensively about a childhood in which he was terrorized by “decades old racial tensions.” He claims to have been “the focus of constant abuse of the resident rednecks of my school.”

Yet, in recent weeks, rumours have been circulating about his ethnicity. A 1995 police incident report lists Shaun King’s ethnicity as white. And blogger Vicki Pate, who has been assembling forensic accounts of Shaun King’s background and family tree on her blog, “Re-NewsIt!,” has published her findings.

What’s up with rich white people wanting to be black? Seems odd, quite odd. Suppressed sexual thing? 😯 I dunno.

MICHIGAN NEWS UPDATE: State Rep. Todd Courser says he was being setup

Remember the scandal that I reported about here in Michigan, involving State Rep. Todd Courser?

Well, there is more news about that. The story via The Detroit News:

State Rep. Todd Courser claimed Monday he distributed a story accusing himself of paying a male prostitute for sex to “expose” individuals trying to blackmail him into resigning office over a relationship with Rep. Cindy Gamrat.

In his first response to The Detroit News’ story Friday exposing Courser’s role in the email, Courser claimed his former aides Ben Graham, Keith Allard and Joshua Cline were behind the anonymous text messages he received, threatening to expose his relationship with Gamrat, a fellow Republican from Plainwell.

“The email in question was really put in motion to disrupt, disrupt the blackmailer and to give me some clues as to what their ability was as far as surveillance over my life and the threats they were making,” Courser said in an audio recording released early Monday morning.

[….]

Courser accuses Graham, 25, of being part of the blackmail plot. In May, Graham refused to send the email for Courser. Weeks later, Courser gave Graham a 6 percent pay raise, state records show. On July 7, Courser fired Graham without explanation.

“The blackmailer’s still operating, goading me,” Courser said on the audio recording. “So I’m not sure how big the ring still is, but they’re still out there and still anonymous.”

Courser accused Graham, Allard and Cline of being “ill-suited” for legislative work and claimed they “bugged and then wiretapped” the combined House office he and Gamrat ran — an unusual arrangement at the Capitol — at the behest of Speaker Kevin Cotter.

“There’s obvious malice and hostility and anger about being let go, and they’re bonded together with that and moved to extract their revenge in the way that they did,” Courser said.

Cotter, R-Mount Pleasant, said Monday Courser’s claims of a House-led bugging operation of he and Gamrat’s office are “just ludicrous.”

“He’s really displayed a long and consistent pattern of that type of paranoia,” Cotter told The News. “There are no black helicopters here; no drones circling the House Office Building.”

Ike, for his part, is denying all involvement:

Lansing — State Rep. Todd Courser told an aide that he had a longtime friend and business associate send Republicans an email falsely claiming the lawmaker was caught having sex with a male prostitute, audio recordings show.

The email, which Courser first ordered a staff member to send out, was sent as part of a scheme to conceal the lawmaker’s relationship with Rep. Cindy Gamrat.

But Immanuel “Ike” Eickholdt, the man Courser says sent it, denied any involvement in distribution of the email in an interview with The Detroit News. Rank-and-file Republicans received the message May 20 and May 21 from an anonymous sender.

Former Courser and Gamrat aides confirmed to The News that the “Ike” mentioned by Courser during two recorded meetings is Eickholdt, who ran in a Democratic primary last year against Courser’s eventual general election opponent, Margaret Guerrero DeLuca.

[…]

In a telephone interview, Eickholdt acknowledged being a “friend and business associate” of Courser’s for a decade, but denied sending the email or having any knowledge of it.

“I did not send an email thing out,” Eickholdt told The News. “Whatever nonsense they’ve got going on, I don’t deal with that kind of stuff anymore.”

Either way, State House officials are not buying the story and are working to get to the bottom of what really happened:

State House officials have seized computers and paper records from the offices of Reps. Todd Courser and Cindy Gamrat as part of an investigation into whether they used taxpayer resources to conceal their relationship, Speaker Kevin Cotter said Monday.

“All of the evidence is protected,” Cotter told The Detroit News. “Nothing can be deleted. We have the servers. We have all of these things. So there’s nothing that’s at risk of being lost at this point.”

Employees in the House Business Office began taking possession of documents, laptop computers and servers containing Courser and Gamrat’s state email accounts on Friday and continued over the weekend, Cotter said.

Cotter ordered an investigation into Courser and Gamrat just hours afterThe Detroit News first revealed Friday that Courser sought the help of a House employee to distribute a fictitious email alleging he had a homosexual affair in order to make allegations of an affair with Gamrat look tame by comparison.

Cotter, R-Mount Pleasant, said the House’s computer servers preserved all electronic records in Courser’s and Gamrat’s systems.

“If either of the representatives, or anyone for that matter, had gone immediately with this story and tried to delete things, that information was not lost,” Cotter told The News. “We have a system in place whereby if even a user deletes an email, that those are still retained. So nothing was at risk of loss.”

It should be very interesting to see how all of that plays out, for his part, Rep. Todd Courser says he is not going anywhere:

Courser, a tea party conservative who has battled Republican leaders since being elected to office last year, said in the recording he would not resign as representative of the 82nd District in Lapeer County.

“I could have resigned, this is really the option that anonymous texter wanted, and doing so quietly,” Courser said. “I simply would have been submitting to the authority of the establishment machine and doing so to protect myself and protect my family.

“… I felt that in of itself really allowed them to win and continue to do this in the way that they do in finding the screw and the thing that they can turn and turning it,” Courser added.

Courser said remaining in office is “absolutely essential” to advance the cause of smaller government.

“I feel it is absolutely, absolutely essential to have these clandestine operations to control public officials exposed,” Courser said. “So I refuse to leave quietly and have decided to that these efforts really need to come out.”

What a freakin’ dope. 🙄

Ferguson, One year later: Gunshots ring out at protest

Wow…..Just…..Wow. 😮 😯

Here are the headlines: (via Memeoradum)

Lisa Brown / St. Louis Post-Dispatch: 1 person shot during protests late Sunday in Ferguson

It’s funny, blacks want respect, blacks want to be treated just like anyone else; which is fine. However, when stuff like this happens here, the first person they blame is the police, is white people. Here’s a wake up call; try blaming yourselves for once and take responsibility for your own actions for a change.

Jazz Shaw at Hotair.com says:

Bad news, folks. That’s not a bug… it’s a feature.

Indeed.
