Thoughts and Prayers for the people of Pilger, Nebraska

Update: Here is video of the tornados:

To some people, these people might just be people from what the liberals and some conservatives call “fly over Country.” But. in truth, they are Americans too. Hard working Americans who bear the brunt of the socialist state. As an Amateur Radio Operator, who is trained in Skywarn spotting; I know too well how the weather can be quite unpredictable. One minute it can be sunny and nice, and the next chaotic.

These people have lost it all. I could never even imagine losing everything in a storm like this. But, these people do it all the time. Somehow or another, they manage to figure out a way to pick up what’s left, and rebuild. This, my friends, takes guts. For this they have my admiration.

May God be with them as they pick up what’s left and start over.

PILGER, Neb. (AP) — A storm packing rare dual tornadoes tore through a tiny farming town in northeast Nebraska, killing a 5-year-old child, leaving grain bins crumpled like discarded soda cans and flattening dozens of homes.

All the residents of the town of Pilger — some 350 people — evacuated their homes, many leaving for shelters in nearby towns, after the powerful twisters slammed the area Monday afternoon. Nebraska State Patrol closed all roads into town.

“More than half of the town is gone — absolutely gone,” Stanton County Commissioner Jerry Weatherholt said. “The co-op is gone, the grain bins are gone, and it looks like almost every house in town has some damage. It’s a complete mess.”

Emergency crews and residents spent the evening sifting through demolished homes and businesses in the town about 80 miles northwest of Omaha.

Stanton County Sheriff Mike Unger estimated that 50 to 75 percent of Pilger was heavily damaged or destroyed in the storm. The local school is likely beyond repair, he said.

“It’s total devastation,” Unger said.

Donald Sterling pulls sale offer, to file 1 Billion Dollar lawsuit against NBA

…and you know what? He has every right to do so as well. I know Donald Sterling is Jewish, okay? But, so is the NBA commissioner as well. However, this whole thing stinks to the heavens; because it simply goes against the idea of private ownership of a business. This whole idea, of a man being forced to sell his business, over words that were spoken, when the man was obviously upset and was not aware he was being recorded; smacks of heavy-handed tactics of political correctness gone horrible amuck.

Here is hoping; and I truly mean this one — that Donald Sterling sticks to his guns, sues the NBA and wins.

(CNN) — The deal is off. The suit is on.

Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling is withdrawing his support for the sale of his team and is asking his lawyer to go ahead with a $1 billion lawsuit against the NBA.

“From the onset, I did not want to sell the Los Angeles Clippers. I have worked for 33 years to build the Team,” Sterling said in a statement, forwarded to CNN by his lawyer Max Blecher.

Referring to NBA commissioner, Sterling added, “I believe that Adam Silver acted in haste by illegally ordering the forced sale of the Clippers, banning me for life from the NBA and imposing the fine. … The action taken by Adam Silver and the NBA constitutes a violation of my rights and fly in the face of the freedoms that are afforded to all Americans.”

Video: Two suspects shoot two police officers in Las Vegas and say, “The Revolution has begun”

Now, I do not intend this to be some idiotic partisan blog posting. However, I do wonder, what kind of revolution that these two suspects were referring to.

8 News NOW

The story via 8 News Now out of Las Vegas:

LAS VEGAS — Two Metro officers are dead following a shooting at a pizza restaurant Sunday near Nellis Boulevard and Stewart Avenue. Police say a citizen and both suspects are dead, as well.

According to police, a man and woman walked into a Cici Pizza restaurant at 309 North Nellis around 11:22 a.m. and appeared to target two Metro officers who were eating at the restaurant. One person shot one officer in the head. The second person shot the second officer.

Police say witnesses told them the suspects took the police officers’ guns and ammunition and, as they were walking out of the restaurant after the shooting, they said, ” tell the police the revolution has begun.”

The two suspects then left the restaurant and went into the Wal-Mart store across the street where they shot a citizen and then shot themselves, police said. Both suspects are dead.

Metro Police has asked all of its officers to shroud their badges in honor of their fallen co-workers. They are also having officers double up in their squad cars so no officer is riding alone.

Here’s the part that bothers me the most:

Police say witnesses told them the suspects took the police officers’ guns and ammunition and, as they were walking out of the restaurant after the shooting, they said, ” tell the police the revolution has begun.”

First off, the media did not comment on the race of the suspects. Was it white suspects? Was it black suspects? Was it latino suspects? Update: Suspects race now know, see below! What sort of revolution were they referring to? These questions are what people like me, want to know. The one thing that I should point out; the suspects killed themselves. Which in my humble opinion, makes them cowards. No true revolutionary, of any stripe, takes the cowardly way out and kills themselves to escape justice. True revolutionaries stand up for what they believe in and will go to jail and face up for their actions.

I am of the opinion, that these guys were nothing more than wanna-be revolutionaries of some sort and they did not plan on the police coming as quick as they did; and when they realized that they had bitten off more than they could chew, they took the cowards way out. Either that, or these people were not wrapped too tight and did this to make some sort of a statement.

Also too, and I think this is very important. Despite what some in the media might try to paint these idiots as; these guys were not Ron Paul types. Ron Paul’s revolution was never, ever about violence. Ron Paul’s revolution was a peaceful one; and he never advocated any sort of violence at all.  Neither would any sort of a Conservative either.

People like myself, who are sane; who are not happy with our Government. We resolve to change it and the culture through civil discourse and by a peaceful exchange of ideas. We also, via blogs so forth, point out and expose the extremists who wish to tarnish our movement and the extremists on the other side, who wish to harm those whom they disagree with.

Also,I want to make it absolutely clear that I do not endorse, nor do I believe in, any sort of violence to fight back against Cultural Marxism. It is wrong, it puts us on the same level has the extremists on the left; and we as Conservative Christians are better than that.

We have the truth on our side, and we do not need to resort to such foolish tactics.

Update:Via Yahoo News

The male shooter, described as a tall white man, yelled “everyone get out” before shooting, Assistant Sheriff Kevin McMahill.

Terrible, just terrible. 🙁

Update #2: Some special snowflake left a moronic comment about this posting, and I deleted it, and then responded to it here.

So much for a stable, secure and safe Iraq!

Can someone remind me again, why it is that we even bothered going into this Country?

4000+ of our Nation’s treasure; and this is the result? The neocons will say, “we left too early.” I call B.S. we knew this sort of stuff would start right back up, the minute we left. The truth is, we never should have went in there in the first darned place. As 9/11 had zero to do with Iraq at all. Now, you have chaos in Iraq, thanks to the Americans. 🙄

The Story:

BAGHDAD (AP) — A series of car bombs exploded across Iraq’s capital Saturday night, killing at least 52 people in a day of violence that saw militants storm a university in the country’s restive Anbar province and take dozens hostage, authorities said.

The attacks in Baghdad largely focused on Shiite neighborhoods, underscoring the sectarian violence now striking at Iraq years after a similar wave nearly tore the country apart following the U.S.-led invasion that toppled Saddam Hussein. Now with U.S. troops gone, Iraq founds itself fighting on fronts across the country, as separate clashes in a northern city killed 21 police officers and 38 militants, officials said.

The first Baghdad attack took place Saturday night in the capital’s western Baiyaa district, killing nine people and wounding 22, police said. Later on, seven car bombs in different parts of Baghdad killed at least 41 people and wounded 62, police said. A roadside bomb in western Baghdad also killed two people and wounded six, police said. All the attacks happened in a one-hour period and largely targeted commercial streets in Shiite neighborhoods, authorities said.

Hospital officials confirmed the casualty figures. All officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to release details to journalists.

The day began with militants killing three police officers on guard at the gates of Anbar University, a police and a military official said. Islamic extremists and other anti-government militias have held parts of Anbar’s nearby provincial capital of Ramadi and the city of Fallujah since December amid rising tensions between Sunni Muslims and the Shiite-led government in Baghdad.

The gunmen detained dozens of students inside a university dorm during their attack, the officials said. Sabah Karhout, the head of Anbar’s provincial council, told journalists that hundreds of students were inside the university compound when the attack started at the school. Anbar University says it has more than 10,000 students, making it one of the country’s largest.

According to one student, the gunmen identified themselves as belonging to an al-Qaida splinter group known as the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant. The Sunni terror group, fighting in Syria with other rebels trying to topple President Bashar Assad, is known for massive, bloody attacks in Iraq as well often targeting Shiites that they view as heretics.

The Islamic State did not immediately claim the attack on the school.

Several hours later, gunmen left the university under unclear circumstances.

Students then boarded buses provided by the local government to flee the school, though gunfire erupted as security forces attacked retreating militants, police said.

UPDATED: Thoughts and Prayers to the people of Moncton, Canada SUSPECT CAPTURED

Because of this here:

(Live video even concluded)

The Story via CBC Canada:

Police have surrounded a building in Moncton as the manhunt continues for a heavily armed man after three RCMP officers were killed and two were wounded in shootings Wednesday night.

RCMP officers and three armoured trucks have a building surrounded in the southeastern New Brunswick city.

This is the latest development in the manhunt that started on Wednesday evening. Police said Thursday morning that the suspect has been spotted a few times in the manhunt.

RCMP believe Justin Bourque, 24, is within an area bounded by Berry Mills Road, Killam Drive, Mountain Road and Evergreen Drive in the Pinehurst subdivision of Moncton.

Codiac RCMP Supt. Marlene Snowman told a news conference that police spotted the suspect three times Thursday morning — in the area near Gorge and Mountain roads, and two other times. The police were unable to apprehend him.

Roger Brown, RCMP assistant commissioner, also told the news conference that “there is no way to describe the level of hurt” inside the police force.

He promised to keep the public updated on the situation throughout the day.

“This is working through your worst nightmare,” Brown said.

He said Moncton is still gripped by a “very, very dangerous situation.”

“We have an armed and dangerous individual that we do not exactly know where he is, and what that really means is that we need to collectively work together to ensure that nothing else happens, that we don’t have somebody else injured, whether it be a citizen, whether it be a bystander, whether it be another police officer,” Brown told the news conference.

To my conservative friends in Canada, I give you a piece of advice. Do not allow this tragic event to become a political cause, by the political left in Canada, to take away your gun rights as Canadian citizens. This guy, from what I have been able to see, especially on his facebook page; is not your average conservative or even legal gun owner. Justin Bourque, from what I can tell, based upon looking at his facebook page; has had some radical thoughts planted in him.

Furthermore, to the political left in Canada, I give you this message: Conservatives here in America, as well as the Conservatives in Canada; do not believe in murdering police officers like this. This guy obviously has an axe to grind with the local police there and is using his support of gun rights as a springboard to commit these crimes.

I prayer for the capture of Justin Bourque and I pray for the families that have been affected by this senseless and tragic event.

Update: CBC Reports that the suspect has been captured.

Are Russian Troops hiding out in Mountains of Montana?

Normally, I do not give this sort of a thing a second look; but, knowing this Government like I do, especially under this President —- I don’t doubt any of it.

The Story:

This is the exact same region of Montana as I was living in before I returned here to NC to help with my brother in September 2013.

I first began my investigative journalism in Montana in 1997. Al Cuppett, a Pentagon linked source who previously lectured across America about coming martial law, had shared several thing with me about the Russian military and martial law in the Montana region.

A Montana state trooper had admitted to Al his experience about stopping a convoy of military trucks heading north west in Montana, hauling heavy howitzer cannons. When the trooper pulled one truck over, the driver presented an official DoD badge, but admitted he was Russian, as were all the other drivers.

via US Military Source Confirms: Russian Troops in USA | Alternative.

There is more here. I send those two links to Matt Drudge, I doubt he will even report on it; but I thought I would try. Again, I honestly do not much get into conspiracy theories; but this one needs to be fished out more and seen if it is true or not.

Heh: Paul Ryan says he’s been mistaken for Anthony Weiner

The Video:

(Via Mlive.com)

Does not really sound like Weiner is too pleased with it either. Via Business Insider:

Former Congressman, New York City mayoral candidate, and Business Insider columnist Anthony Weiner doesn’t appreciate being mixed up with Wisconsin Congressman Paul Ryan.

During a Wednesday event with Michigan Republicans, Ryan recalled being confused with various other politicians, including Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, according to video posted on MLive.com.

“So you have these humbling moments in politics,” Ryan, the 2012 Republican vice presidential nominee, said. “But that wasn’t to be outdone because then I went on this flight a week later and the flight attendents were looking at me and … finally one of them comes up to me, she says, ‘You’re someone famous aren’t you. Are you Anthony Weiner?”

Ryan went on to say he’s been mistaken for Weiner on multiple occasions.

“I’ve been confused with Anthony Weiner twice now,” Ryan continued to laughs. “I have no idea how that happens!”

Weiner, an outspoken progressive whose mayoral campaign last year was rocked by a scandal, told Business Insider having people mix him up with the conservative darling is “the final insult.”

“How much more can I bear?” Weiner asked

If I wanted to be a smarty pants, I could have made a about their noses being about the same size; but, I won’t do that. But, I can say this; considering Paul Ryan’s resume and Weiner’s public reputation; I’d say they’re about the same and have the same depth — much on fluff and less as much on substance.

Slimeball Leftist Tactics

That is the only thing I can think of to describe this stunning display of idiocy:

A Pearl man who runs a political blog is accused of sneaking into a nursing home where U.S. Sen. Thad Cochran’s wife is bedridden and photographing her, then posting the image in a video political “hit piece” on the internet.

Madison Police arrested Clayton Thomas Kelly, 28, of Pearl on Friday night on a charge of exploitation of a vulnerable adult. He’s being held on a $100,000 bond.

Kelly is accused of sneaking into St. Catherine’s Village in Madison, where Rose Cochran has resided since 2000, suffering from progressive dementia and now bedridden.

Cochran on Saturday issued a statement: “I have been fortunate to have a wonderful family, and like so many families, we are deeply affected by my wife’s serious, long-term illness, that we consider to be a very private family matter. We will continue doing everything we can to protect my wife’s safety and security.”

via Man arrested for sneaking into Cochran’s wife’s nursing home.

Just a question to pose to others who might come over and read this, from me linking to their blogs — have any of you people ever thought about the fact that this guy might not be, who he says he is? On the surface, this might look like something that Andrew Breitbart might support; but if you really know what he was about, Andrew would never support anything like this, at all. The reason I say this, is because the left is not above planting operatives and letting them doing something like this to discredit the right. Someone needs to go to this dude’s blog and really check the archives and see just how long he has been blogging. Because something tells me, that this guy is nothing more than some leftist, posing as someone of the right.

If you are wondering what I am hammering at here; I am thinking along the lines of people like this here. If you know what I mean.
