This right here is a picture of a black thug punk, who decided to attack and try to beat up a Latino man, who happened to be a legal gun owner. This photo ought to be showed in every classroom in this Country. This is what happens to a black man or anyone else, who decides that the “thug” lifestyle is a cool thing to live.  I have one thing to say about this photo:  Thank YOU JESUS for the second amendment and for the God-given right to defend oneself. Trayvon Martin thought it would be cool to try and attack someone; and he lost the bet. May others learn from this mistake.

Janet Napolitano is out to UC

This is a bit of a shock, I figured she would stick it out to the end:

Janet Napolitano, the U.S. secretary of Homeland Security and former governor of Arizona, is being named as the next president of the University of California system, in an unusual choice that brings a national-level politician to a position usually held by an academic, The Times has learned. Her appointment also means the 10-campus system will be headed by a woman for the first time in its 145-year history.

Napolitano’s nomination by a committee of UC regents came after a secretive process that insiders said focused on her early as a high-profile, although untraditional, candidate who has led large public agencies and shown a strong interest in improving education.

UC officials believe that her Cabinet experiences –- which include helping to lead responses to hurricanes and tornadoes and overseeing some anti-terrorism measures — will help UC administer its federal energy and nuclear weapons labs and aid its federally funded research in medicine and other areas.

I can’t say that I am sad to see her go, her tenure was marked with some serious errors.

It is official: I leave for 9 weeks of training for new job

I wrote about this the other day, but it is now official.

On the 15’th of this month, I will be shipping off to Indianapolis, Indiana for 9 weeks (!) of training to become an over the road truck driver.

I know, it sounds like forever, but really, it is simply 3 weeks in Indy for classroom and maneuvers practice.  Then it’s off with a trainer for 6 weeks of simply driving with a trainer. I will be doing, hopefully most of the 48 states and maybe Canada.

I will be taking the laptop and checking in via wifi at the truck stops each night. I also, once I go solo, will be buying a phone, trucker gps, and a decent freezer cooler. Once get the phone, I will be posting video updates here and over on the youtube channel that I created. I am also thinking of creating a separate blog dedicated solely to trucking. I have a name and a URL for that picked out; stay tuned for further updates on that one.

It feels so good to be finally doing the right thing with my career and more than anything else; getting back to work — after 9 years of being unemployed.  😀

My uncle, John Franklin Hayes, fought in Germany during World War II. He was a part of the greatest generation ever. He fought, so that we Americans would never, ever have to live under fascist German Nazi rule. He was a great American—  unlike the vermin who wrote the tripe that I linked to above.
