No, let’s not start closing down Mosques Mr. Trump

Here’s why this bugs me a bit. If we start giving the power to the US Government to close Religious houses of worship; we start treading on the constitution. For those who would cheerlead such a move, consider this: What happens if the United States sudden decides that Baptist Churches, especially, those of the Fundamentalist sort are too radical in their beliefs, what then, do they shut them down too?

We really, as Baptists, need to pray that the Lord give us a President that understands the concept of Religious freedom, because it is quite obvious that Donald Trump knows nothing about that at all.

Hate Speech, Jews, Christians and the end times

Postings like this usually get me into trouble. But, it needs to be said. Could you imagine a WASP, like me, saying this about the Jews?

The report is in Hebrew from Udi Segal of Israeli Channel 10, as translated by David Sheen on Facebook and Emily Hauser. 

Ben-Dahan referred to Palestinians as animals in 2013, according to the Times of Israel:

“To me, they are like animals, they aren’t human.”

Ben Dahan told Maariv that homosexual Jews were superior [to]gentiles — gay or straight.

“A Jew always has a much higher soul than a gentile, even if he is a homosexual,” he said

the occidental observer also observes:

The most important fact, via TOO is this:

It goes without saying at a US government official stating the superiority of his group would be out of a job the next day. But Dahan’s statement will not be covered in the US media, so it will not affect support for Israel among the less than human non-Jewish American public.

This above, is why I am not a big fan of the Zionists and the Christian-Zionist movement at all. However, to be clear; I am really not on board with the White Nationalists, White supremacists or any of that sort of “white identity” crowd — this is because much of what those people believe is just recycled bigoted nonsense that I, as a Christian cannot agree with.

However, I believe that it is very important for Christians to know, that these people are the supposedly, the same people who put Jesus Christ, the Messiah of the World and of all Christendom, to a rigged trial and to the cross of Calvary.  Jesus said the following:

Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves. (Matthew 10:16 KJV)

Part of that wisdom is to know who your enemies are and in this case; these are enemies of born-again believers like myself. It is a true tragic thing, that Christians, in this apostate age, have been lulled into a coma type state and have been conned into believe that somehow, believe that believe these things, as quoted above, are somehow or another their friends. It is a lie and it is one that will destroy the believer, if he does not wake up.

Jesus also said this:

But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to the councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues; And ye shall be brought before governors and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them and the Gentiles. But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak. For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you. (Matthew 10:17-20 KJV)

Most Christians mistakenly believe that this was simply Jesus informing his disciples that they would have to endure persecution, which they did and most people believe that Jesus was prophesying about the tribulation. Well, I am sorry to tell you; but this was a general prophecy to ALL Christians! As everyone who reads this blog knows, the “speech police” are in full control as to what is “acceptable free speech.” Most of those groups — the ADL, Southern Poverty Law Center, ACLU, and organizations like AIPAC are controlling the media.

My question you is this, How long before these groups are able to exert enough pressure to have laws passed that will regulate what people, like myself, can publish to a blog? How long will it be before anyone, that happens to disagree with their worldview, will be tossed in jail and accused of “hate speech?” I mean, Christian Bakers are already being persecuted for not Baking a wedding cake for a gay couple.  So, how long is it, before Christian Conservative bloggers, like myself, who do not tow the Christian Zionist line, find their blogs seized and themselves jailed on charges of “hate speech?”

My answer is this: It is coming. Maybe not tomorrow or the day after. Maybe not even in the next few years. However, it is coming and when it does, it will be considered acceptable; except to people like me and maybe you. They will call us “extremists.” Heck, they do that now! I am not well liked by the neoconservatives, as they see me as a racist, an anti-Semite and all the other idiotic labels that they put on me.

In fact, I believe that before the Lord comes back for His Church, which by the way, is going to happen sooner than you think! — things for Fundamental Baptists like myself, are going to get worse, before they get better. In fact, I have said this before on this blog; but it bares repeating —- I believe that before the Lord comes back for His Church, that Fundamental Baptists, like me, that still believe in the King James Bible are going to be meeting in secret, in basements of houses, for fear of being arrested.  My friends, it is coming and I do see that on horizon!

The Bible says:

But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. (2 Timothy 3:13 KJV)

My friends, I have seen this personally myself! I have been a Born-Again Christian since 1982. I was 9 years old. 34 years ago. Things were so much different back then. Notice how much the world, television, music and basically everything else, has changed? This is not by accident, this is the normal course of sin, it never gets better; it only gets worse and worse. This is not my personal opinion, that is Biblical truth.

We, as believers do have hope, and it is this:

But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words. – (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 KJV)

That above, is our blessed hope. But, before that happens, things here, are going to get much, much worse for believers like myself. Those who are not a part of the great apostasy will be hunted, arrested and imprisoned for their faith. It is coming, and it is not too far off.  Marxists will, as the ones quoted above, will be part of that.

Know your enemies and prepare yourselves now. Work, while it is light. For darkness is coming, very soon.

But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. A good analysis on the Kentucky clerk issue by Bob Barr

Bob Barr, who I voted for in 2008, gives a very good analysis of the situation with the Kentucky Clerk.

Basically, Bob says, “Be Careful what you wish for“:

Imagine waking up to the news that a Quaker county sheriff is denying concealed carry permits to citizens because of his religious objection to violence; or, a Muslim DMV supervisor in Dearborn, Michigan has ordered his staff to refuse to issue driver’s licenses to women out of a religious objection to women behind the wheel. These are among the realities that await should we make Kim Davis, the embattled County Clerk from Rowan County, Kentucky, an archetype for “religious freedom” in America.

In 1802, Thomas Jefferson replied to a letter from the Danbury Baptist Association of Connecticut in which he outlined a concept for the First Amendment’s application as it relates to religion. According to Jefferson, the Amendment creates a “wall of separation between Church & State,” to which “the legitimate powers of government reach actions only, & not opinions.” While Jefferson’s concept of a wall separating the Church and State has been used in a modern context by the Left to justify its radical purge of any and all religious artifacts from the public sector — particularly those of Christianity – Jefferson rather was simply warning about the power of government, compelled by a dominant sect of religion, to corrupt and oppress religious liberty of allworshipers.

As an elected government official and public employee, Davis took an oath to uphold the law, and cannot properly use her power as an elected official to deny marriage licenses to couples found by the Supreme Court of the United States to be entitled to receive those licenses. This is not a question of whether or not we agree with that Supreme Court ruling; it most definitely is a question of whether we are – as Chief Justice John Marshall noted in his seminal, 1803 opinion in Marbury v. Madison – a “nation of laws, not of men.

The virulent reaction of the Left to this controversy, and laws such as Indiana’s Religious Freedom Restoration Act, leaves little doubt about the Left’s “respect” for religious freedom, and highlight the need protect it from further erosion. Yet, as the Davis controversy also illustrates, protecting religious freedom is not as black and white as the media and the political rhetoric make it out to be. It requires a far more thoughtful approach to articulating its fundamental importance in our society than rushing to make every perceived injustice the focal point of such a debate.

Using the wrong examples to make our case for religious freedom only further ingrains the disrespect for religious freedom and the rule of law so desperately needed in the public and the private sectors; and encourages use of the “Wall-of-Separation” phrase as a bludgeon against religion, rather than a protector of it.

It is regrettable that Kim Davis was jailed, and as former San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom’s lawless “gay marriage” protest shows, clearly the Left does not hold itself to the same standards as it does with Davis. However, what is happening to Davis is not about the sincerity of her religious beliefs, or even the morality of gay marriage. Placing her on a pedestal will likely come back to haunt her supporters.

And perhaps those who find a government for which they work so morally repugnant as does Kim Davis, would better serve the public they have sworn to serve, from outside rather than inside.

He is absolutely correct about that; we are a constitutional Republic, not a Christian Theocracy. Kim Davis took an oath to uphold the law and if she cannot do that, as a result of her religious convictions, then she should resign. This is why I have avoided writing about this case, because she and her supporters are making a religious argument over a secular issue. What she is actually doing is violating the First Amendment and she should be charged for doing so.

The sick part is that, naturally, the Republican Party will sing in unison in support for this so-called “Christian Zealot” and screw our chances for a victory in 2016. 🙁

 

Open Message to Todd Starnes: You’re wrong about Harry Vincent

All it took was 140 characters for Texas Christian University to suspend a conservative student who posted a series of social networking posts that insulted the Islamic State, the Baltimore rioters and Mexicans.

TCU banned Harry Vincent from most campus activities, ordered him to perform 60 hours of community service and attend a diversity training class.

The 19-year-old, who is a member of the College Republicans and the Young Americans for Freedom, said he was told by the university that his conservative views were “inappropriate.”

It sounds to me like Harry Vincent is guilty of being a Christian Conservative white guy – and on a university campus that’s a crime worthy of death penalty.

“They’re trying to make me out to be the classic bigoted hateful white male,” Harry told me in a telephone interview from his home in Maryland. “That’s the complete opposite of what I am.”

The university’s only public comment came in a prepared statement noting “When student’s conduct violates the university’s behavioral standards, they are subject to a disciplinary process, and will be held accountable for their actions.”

On April 29 TCU sent Harry a letter accusing him of violating the university’s code of student conduct – specifically he was accused of “infliction of bodily or emotional arm” and “disorderly conduct.”

The charges stemmed from a half dozen tweets he had posted online referencing radical Islam along with a Facebook message about the Baltimore riots.

“These hoodrat criminals in Baltimore need to be shipped off and exiled to the sahara desert,” he wrote. “Maybe then they’ll realize how much we provide for them (welfare, college tuition, Obama phone’s, medicare, etc.”

In regards to Islam he wrote, “This is clearly not a religion of peace.”

He also used the word “beaner” a derogatory term to describe Mexicans.

A former middle school classmate took great offense at Harry’s tweets and launched what became a Twitter lynch mob. The unnamed woman, who has no ties to TCU, urged her followers to contact the university and complain.

“This a**hole has been posting racist and disgusting comments on Twitter/Facebook,” she wrote on Tumblr. “When I confronted him about it, he referred to me as an ‘Islamic s**thead.”

The university took swift action. Associate Dean of Students Glory Robinson ordered Harry to apologize for what he had written on his private social networking pages.

“Dean Robinson said I was going to need to write an apology letter and a letter stating what sort of punishment I thought I deserved,” Harry told me. “She told me not to use Freedom of Speech as a defense – or else I would be more severely punished.”

To make a long story short – Harry hired a lawyer and appealed.

“My appeal board consisted of one very flamboyant male teacher and the head of the inclusiveness and diversity department,” he said. “It wasn’t a very unbiased board at all that heard my case.”

As expected – the university rejected his appeal and sent Harry a certified letter.

“The choices you made caused harm to other individuals,” the university wrote. “These types of comments are not acceptable at TCU and directly contradict our mission of being ‘ethical leaders and responsible citizens in a global community.’”

Harry said he was told that he had to say he was guilty before the university actually found him guilty.

“Dean Robinson believes I am somehow damaged – she thinks there’s something wrong with me because of what I put out there on social media,” he said. “She told me how my conservatives views were inappropriate.”

While he stands by his beliefs about Islamic radicals and the Baltimore rioters, Harry told me he regrets the foul language he used – as well as the unintentional Mexican slur “beaner.”

“I did not know that word was such a hurtful word,” he said. “I do regret that one because I do realize that could have caused harm to some people.”

Harry said he called his online attacker a “s***head” after she bashed the Armed Forces and wrote that America deserved what happened on 9/11.

“Any red-blooded American’s blood would have boiled at the sight of what she wrote,” he said. “I let my anger get the best of me.”

It sounds to me like Harry Vincent is guilty of being a Christian Conservative white guy – and on a university campus that’s a crime worthy of death penalty.

Harry isn’t sure if he’s going back to TCU. Should he agree to their demands – the 19-year-old would be on disciplinary probation until 2018 – the year he graduates.

“I’m thinking about enlisting in the Marines,” he said.

But one thing is certainly – Harry is not backing down.

“I’m not going to stand down and watch an institution throw away the Constitution and throw away basic God-given rights,” he said.

TCU is a private school and as such they are not bound by the First Amendment. However, as a Christian school they ought to be bound by the Good Book.

Harry Vincent spoke his mind – but instead of honoring his free speech – TCU chose to silence this young man and capitulated to the fury of a Twitter lynch mob.

The irony is that Harry received a stiffer punishment than a lot of the street thugs who terrorized Baltimore.

How not to talk about the Charleston shooting 

This little gem comes from a neoconservative, neo-evangelical, slander blogger and a dirtbag piece of crap; that allowed one of this diary users on that pathetic blog of his, to slander me. Something that I have considered suing him for.

A society that looks at a 65 year old male Olympian and, with a straight face, declares him a her and “a new normal” cannot have a conversation about mental health or evil because that society no longer distinguishes normal from crazy and evil from good. Our American society has a mental illness — overwhelming narcissism and delusion — and so cannot recognize what crazy or evil looks like.

Now, as a Fundamentalist Christian and an Independent Baptist; do I agree with the sentiment expressed here? Yes, I do.

However, I would never, ever, speak such things, before the freakin’ bodies are even buried in the ground! 😡

This is what pisses me off about this whole situation; this horrific event is being exploited by the left — which is saying that the reason this kid was not gunned down by the police, is because of “White Privilege” and by the right; perfect example being above and other examples, like these here. Which gives the left in this Country, all the more reason to paint the right as bigoted and out of touch.

In truth, this kid didn’t get mowed down, is because he had enough common sense not to try to point a gun, or bum rush or even try to hit with a piece of concrete, a police officer. Something that Michel Brown, Trayvon Martin and a few blacks have done to white police officers and armed white people.

The most I have ever said is, “Sad, but they do it too“, meaning black people. Which is true, blacks kill whites all the time and there’s never a peep out of the media; as well as when blacks kill blacks. But, you let a white kid, who’s a little loose in the noodle kill a black person or persons and it is nationwide story.

Liberal progressivism and neoconservatism, but then again, I repeat myself —- is a mental disorder. 😡

Independent Baptists need a wake up call when it comes to Bikers!

That whole mess with the Bikers in Waco had my suspicion radar going off. I do not know what really happened down there. But, I did notice this story on Facebook and it made me very happy. This photo in particular made my mind think of the words of Jesus himself:

Bikers from other clubs showed up to ride for Candyman from all over the nation. Today America’s bikers made history in a show of unity like never before. Manny ‘Candyman’ Rodriguez was gunned down by police in Waco Texas on May 17th. Today his memorial service was an astounding rainbow of colors from all over the nation as Bandidos, Hells Angels, Mongols, Vagos, dozens of red and gold support clubs, Christian bikers, vets, other clubs and independents amassed in a massive showing of support.

The following is a opinion about the “Church World” that does not mean a “Hill of beans” to anyone; except maybe me and maybe you, if you happen to agree with it.

One of my biggest gripes with the “Church World” that it has become a closed society. By that, I mean that the Church world is basically closed it’s door to the Biker community. The only Christians (or so that they say anyhow…) that give remote flip about the Bikers are the Evangelical Christians; you know, the ones who teach the “Don’t Judge” nonsense.

These are the same ones who believe that you can read any version of the Bible and still get the Word of God, they are also the ones who teach that the “Rock and Roll Christianity” mentality and philosophy is perfectly okay.  As a result, these poor Bikers are usually being fed junk doctrine from unsuspecting people who have been brain-washed to believe that what they are teaching is authentic Christianity.

The Independent Baptists have missed the boat, when it comes to ministering to Bikers. Oh, some big Churches might have the ministries, as well as ones geared towards Truck Drivers as well. But, the majority of the Independent Baptist would call the police, if a bunch of burly Bikers wearing their colors showed up at their Churches!

Folks, we Independent Baptists need to look at the words of the Lord Jesus Christ:

 Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us. Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father? Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works. Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works’ sake. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. – (John 14:8-12 KJV)

This is another scripture that I think that the Baptists, who have this sense of superiority over the Bikers:

When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? This is about the only scripture that needs to be quoted. Bikers are people, with souls, that need saving. We need to be there for them, to help them, to comfort them and to bring them peace; which really only comes from Christ The Lord. We have the truth, the real truth and hiding it, because of whatever hang ups we might have — is a sin.

Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. (Matthew 5:13-16 KJV)

Duggar Family’s eldest molested his own sisters

UPDATE: Some of you might not understand why I am taking such a hardcore stance against this man.  Allow me to explain. When I was 9 years old, not long after I accepted Jesus Christ as my personal saviour; I had a young man, by the name of Mark Bloom, who lives in Melvindale, Michigan attempt to sexually molest me in the bathroom of Open Door Baptist Church, which used to be in the Delray district of Detroit. So, yes, this one is very personal to me. 

This is sick as heck and it totally cheeses me off!

Jim Bob Duggar waited more than a year after his son, Josh, confessed tosexually molesting several female minors before contacting police, In Touch Magazine is reporting exclusively, based on information contained in the official police report.

What’s more, Jim Bob informed the elders of his church about Joshua’s actions and they waited three months before contacting authorities. The explosive new information is contained in a Springdale, Ark., police report obtained by In Touch magazine.

The report has been hidden since 2006 and was just obtained by the mag through a Freedom of information Act request. Jim Bob also refused to allow police to interview Josh when they opened a felony investigation in 2006. The Duggars star on TLC’s hit show 19 Kids and Counting.

In Touch magazine first broke the news of the Duggars’ underage sexual molestation scandal in this week’s magazine. (Note: Josh’s name is redacted from the police report but In Touch has confirmed the passages that refer to him.)

They are of the same doctrinal stance as me; this is horrible. It makes all of we independent Baptists look like crazy people. People say, “don’t judge.” To which I say, “Like hell!” These people are supposed to shining examples of what “true Christianity” is supposed to be about. …and like most Christians, especially Fundy Christians, they got the bully pulpit, and made some good money off the show, only to find out, they are a bunch of flipping fakes! Just like the Duck Dynasty people!

Back 12 years ago our family went through one of the most difficult times of our lives. When Josh was a young teenager, he made some very bad mistakes and we were shocked. We had tried to teach him right from wrong. That dark and difficult time caused us to seek God like never before. Even though we would never choose to go through something so terrible, each one of our family members drew closer to God. We pray that as people watch our lives they see that we are not a perfect family. We have challenges and struggles everyday. Twelve years ago, as a young teenager I acted inexcusably for which I am extremely sorry and deeply regret. I hurt others, including my family and close friends. I confessed this to my parents who took several steps to help me address the situation. We spoke with the authorities where I confessed my wrongdoing and my parents arranged for me and those affected by my actions to receive counseling. I understood that if I continued down this wrong road that I would end up ruining my life. I sought forgiveness from those I had wronged and asked Christ to forgive me and come into my life. When my family and I first visited the Duggar Home, Josh shared his past teenage mistakes. I was surprised at his openness and humility and at the same time didn’t know why he was sharing it. For Josh he wanted not just me but my parents to know who he really was — even every difficult past mistakes. At that point and over the next two years, Josh shared how the counseling he received changed his life as he continued to do what he was taught. And when you, our sweet fans, first met me when Josh asked me to marry him… I was able to say, “Yes” knowing who Josh really is – someone who had gone down a wrong path and had humbled himself before God and those whom he had offended. Someone who had received the help needed to change the direction of his life and do what is right. I want to say thank you to those who took time over a decade ago to help Josh in a time of crisis. Your investment changed his life from going down the wrong path to doing what is right. If it weren’t for your help I would not be here as his wife — celebrating 6 1/2 years of marriage to a man who knows how to be a gentleman and treat a girl right. Thank you to all of you who tirelessly work with children in crisis, you are changing lives and I am forever grateful for all of you.

Sorry, but that has to be the lamest excuse for a reason for what this kid did. He should be in prison and is not. Now, here’s another fun fact the sheriff that talked to this kid? He ended up getting 53 years in prison for child porn charges. Oh, there is something seriously wrong in Tontitown, Arkansas, something awfully wrong and it isn’t “oh, those meanie liberals picking on those wonderful Christian/Baptist people” either!
