Unlike me, who wrote a rather pissy sounding blog posting, Michelle Malkin writes a remarkably Christian sounding blog posting.

The Obligatory Dominican Republic Hookers rat out Democratic Party senator posting
Ho hum, another sex scandal; big deal.
Via Tucker Carlson’s Daily Caller:
Two women from the Dominican Republic told The Daily Caller that Democratic New Jersey Sen. Bob Menendez paid them for sex earlier this year.
In interviews, the two women said they met Menendez around Easter at Casa de Campo, an expensive 7,000 acre resort in the Dominican Republic. They claimed Menendez agreed to pay them $500 for sex acts, but in the end they each received only $100.
The women spoke through a translator in the company of their attorney, Melanio Figueroa. Both asked that their identities remain obscured for fear of reprisals in the Dominican Republic.
Of course, the Senator’s office says:
Asked about the allegations, Menendez spokeswoman Tricia Enright refused to answer any questions on the subject. “We’re not going to respond to a completely false accusation,” she wrote by email.
So, the question is, who is telling the truth? Hard to say; the Ladies faces were obscured, so the guy cannot ID them. So, it is a situation of Tucker’s word against the Senator’s. Truthfully, this is a bad path to take for Tucker, it can get him sued and it tends to hurt his credibility.
I just think that there is a better way to fight this battle; instead of gotcha politics, we should just stand on principles. It is too bad that no one listens. 🙁

National Review is down due to Sandy
Holy Moses! ![]()
First it was Commentary, now, National Review is down for the count.
This is what I see when I go there:
Still dealing with Sandy. Back soon.
Haven’t Conservatives ever heard of redundant backups? ![]()
Videos: Why do Conservatives do stupid stuff like this?
Good Lord….
I will never understand, in a million years, why Conservatives feel the need to do insanely stupid stuff like this. Never! ![]()
Via Mediaite:
He said spears, “spear chucker” is a underhanded racist term, about black people.
Update: After I hit publish, I sat here and thought about it for a second and decided to come back and add this update. I do not believe for one lousy second that Mark Sanford would have intentionally said a racist statement towards Obama at all. I think that, if anything, Tommy Christopher is trying to race-bait here a little. I believe, if anything, Mark Sanford simply just used a phrase like spears, because it was the first thing that came to his mind. Spears, Arrows, it is all the same. Again, I believe Tommy is baiting here, and I believe he is getting paid my Mediaite to do so. It is a pity, because I used to kind of like the guy a bit. Too bad, he is posting crap like that to make money. It is yellow and cheap and he should be ashamed. Maybe next time, when he has a heart attack, we on the right, won’t be so nice. Just saying. ![]()
Now this one here, which comes via JSOnline, yes, this is racism, plain and simple and this little jerk, ought to be banned from the party….FOR LIFE!:
Guys, listen, please?
This is not helping Mitt Romney at all. In fact, it is hurting our cause, badly.
We do not need to do this sort of crap, at all. Obama’s record is plenty.
I just do not understand it, at all. ![]()
Also too, before anyone says, “What about you?” To that, I simply say this, What about about me? I am not a Republican. I am voting Mitt Romney, but I am just a lowly, low traffic blogger. These people are in the party and are supposed to be representing their cause. Needless to say, there is a massive fail going on here!
Unreal. ![]()
If Mitt Romney loses this election, it will not be because he did not have any good ideas; it will because people in his own damned Party screwed him out of winning the White House.
Update — 7/25/2013: For some reason, this blog entry is popping up in my traffic window. For the record, Mark Sanford simply said that Obama was throwing spears of fear. He did not use a well-known racist term for blacks, which is, for what it is truly worth, “Spear-Chucker.” Anyone that thinks that he did is: 1. an idiot 2. a race-baiter.
The message in Tim Tebow’s tweet is about the power of God
Tim Tebow the famous Christian football player sent out a tweet which had some people wondering about what he meant.
Like it has been for much of Tim Tebow’s career, it was all about the numbers heading into the N.Y. Jets game against the Houston Texans on the 666th edition of Monday Night Football.
“Looking forward to giving God all the glory in tonight’s 666th Monday Night Football game. Romans 8:37-39,” Tebow tweeted Monday morning.
Once again, as has happened many times before, the sports media turned to talk of Bible scripture and faith as the result of something Tebow said or posted.
USA Today sports writer Chris Chase went so far as to use Tebow’s “666” reference to begin his article with the Bible verse Revelation 13:8. “This calls for wisdom: let the one who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man, and his number is 666,” Chase quoted from the English Standard translation.
“I’m down with Tebow’s religious beliefs and appreciate that he uses his forum to promote them, but I’m not sure what he was going for here,” wrote Chase. “Does playing in a game number that’s identical to the mark of the beast worry him? Or is anything with the number 666 a good way to promote his faith?”
Naturally, we cannot expect these unconverted heathen to understand what Mr. Tebow was trying to convey at all. Here is the scripture that Mr. Tebow was quoting, in the actual Word of God — that is the King James Bible:
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. — (Romans 8:35-39 KJV)
Actually, Mr. Tebow did not quote quite enough of that scripture, he only quoted 37-39, the actually good part is from 35-39. But, I digress.
Tim Tebow was publicly declaring his faith in Jesus Christ. Which is commanded by the Lord Jesus Christ in the Bible, see here:
Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven. — (Matthew 10:32-33 KJV)
Those are the Words of Jesus Christ, recorded by the Apostle Matthew. The Apostle Luke also recorded it in greater detail:
Also I say unto you, Whosoever shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God: But he that denieth me before men shall be denied before the angels of God. And whosoever shall speak a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but unto him that blasphemeth against the Holy Ghost it shall not be forgiven. — (Luke 12:8-10 KJV)
So, you see, The Lord was not kidding around about that sort of a thing; He meant business. Furthermore, I feel the need to expound another aspect of what Tim Tebow was trying to say in his tweet; whether he knew it or not. Let me say up front; this is where I am going to start sounding like a preacher. I will disclose this now. There was a time, when I was working on getting a degree for Ministry. I really cannot be a Pastor, because I am not married. However, I do know my way around theology a bit. I have been a saved, Born-Again Christian for 30 years. I spent 21 years in the Pentecostal movement. I was saved a Baptist at age 9, in a Baptist Church in Detroit in 1982. I left the Baptist circles in 1984, due to a school change and just started attending an Assemblies of God Church in Detroit, which recently closed after 35 years. In 2004, after many years of watching the Pentecostal movement simply change from what it was, to what it is now —- I walked away from it and went back to the Baptist faith. You see, Baptist is not a denomination, although a few denominations out there call themselves Baptist. Baptist is a way of belief and it dates back to the Apostles of Christ. I suggest reading The Trail of Blood to see what I am talking about.
Anyhow, back to what I was talking here, before I got off in the weeds. Tim Tebow was also making a another statement and that statement is this here: That Jesus Christ is the Son of the Living God and is all powerful and has dominion over Heaven and Earth. Satan, on the other hand, is a already defeated foe and has limited power. Furthermore, Mr. Tebow was declaring that if you accept Jesus as your personal Savior, that you can enjoy eternal life with God forever. This is the simple truth that has been known throughout the ages, including by those who founded this Country. It is also the bedrock believe that this Nation held to for many years and because of that, this Nation enjoyed many years of abundant prosperity.
I think it goes without saying, that we really need to get back to those beliefs. Now, as a Fundamentalist Baptist; I reject the notion of a corporate Salvation or Christianity. However, I do believe that the Christian values that this Country once held, have been watered down and cast aside as old hat. I believe this happened for a large number of reasons — many of which are beyond the scope of this blog posting. I also reject the notion that this Nation will have another revival. Sadly, the days of revival are over in this Country. I believe before the rapture of the Church comes, I believe things on this earth are going to become much darker and much more evil. I know, it is a fatalist outlook, but the Word of God does bare that out.

Chart: Obama’s Spending versus Bush
It is an updated one, via InstaPundit. Show this to Democrats when they try to blame our budget problems on Bush’s wars. This will prove that they are, as always; full of crap.

Disagreeing with Jeff Goldstein…..sort of
I happen to respect Jeff’s opinion, alot. He might not want to hear that; but the guy has chops when it comes to writing.
Anyhow, a bit of nitpicking here:
Just watched the debate. Not sure why people are saying Romney won so convincingly. Obama, with few exceptions, bullshitted his way through things just fine. And Romney too often sounded like a me-too statist.
Objectively, Romney won on the points and particulars, and he had several strong moments. Clearly, he’s not the leftist Obama is — though he’s still a statist. That’s a net positive, should he win election.
via First debate reactions: non-live viewer | protein wisdom.
My comments on the “statist” bit. If Jeff is referring to the, “Let’s save and/or shore up Social Security and Medicare” sort of a Statist; then yes, I would say, yes, Romney is one of those. But then again, so is the entire GOP. Because hell, a good 75 percent of their base is in that category. Now if Jeff is referring to the “Government and Private Industry Partnerships” type of a statist, I believe he would be wrong about that.
Although, I would like to see Romney’s position on Government subsidies to corporate farms and oil companies. Personally, I believe those have to go, as they put small time farmers under the gun and create an unfair environment for them. As for the oil companies, they make enough money; why should they get handouts from the Government? But that is just my populist roots, intertwined with my libertarianism shining through. I am all for capitalism, but I am not for Government picking winners and losers in the business industry at all.
On a related matter; Last night I happened to notice someone praising Romney’s performance —- Patrick J. Buchanan. I nearly fell out of my chair, when I saw him singing the praises of Romney’s performance. This is the same Patrick J. Buchanan that believes that the “Neoconservatives’ are the redheaded stepchildren of the Republican Party and the Conservative movement. To be fair, Pat’s sister Bay Buchanan is on Romney’s team, so that *might* have something to do with it. Although, you most likely could not prove it in court.
You have to know Willard’s on to something, when Bill Kristol AND Pat Buchanan are BOTH saying that Romney spanked Obama’s butt and won the debate. If those two polar opposites in Republicanism and Conservatism agree; Romney is definitely onto something and here is hoping that he does keep it up.
Videos: Clips from last night’s President Debate
As I told you, I did not watch the entire debate last night.
But, clips are coming out…..and boy are they good. Romney looked Presidential, even Reagan-like. No wonder Chris Matthews was losing his mind! Not only did Romney destroy Obama’s talking points, he spiked the football in the Democratic Party end zone! 😯
Here are some of the clips —- so far:
Here is Romney on Government picking winners and losers: (H/T HotAir)
On the Role of Government:
Here is Obama defending ObamaCare and the IPAB:
If I come across more, I’ll share them here, but so far, Romney’s got this sewn up. Judging by the snap polls and the reaction of the left; Obama does not stand a chance to win at all.
Stay tuned for updates.
Yuck: Horribly bad Conservative humor video of the day
No
NO!
NO!
That is not the way you make a funny video! This stupid stuff like this below is why people like this guy here, and this guy here; call people like me racist bigots and why the left calls Republicans/Conservative/Tea Party people racist bigots! 😡
I mean, the thing looked like it was produced by Stormfont’s Don Black or David Duke — minus the offensive language and racial slurs.
This comes via InstaPundit:
Here is the reason I say this: While white people might find this video to be humorous. Most blacks, with any sort self-respect; would find this video to be horribly offensive and blatantly racist. I am sorry, but painting the President of the United States of America, as a black man, who will not leave a White family’s home, is just wrong. Sorry, it’s the way I feel. There are better ways to make the point that Obama’s policies have not be good for the Country. But, not like this.
There is a way to exploit and mock stereotypes of this sort; this is not one of the ways to do it. The cheese factor in this video was just horribly bad. I was about a minute into it, before I had to shut it off.
Yes, it is THAT bad…..
We are the cusp of winning this election and someone has to pull a stupid. 🙄
If the right does not get this; then I am sorry, they have some serious issues. 🙁
One of them bitter-clingers from Tennessee posts his love for Guns on facebook, Liberals pee themselves
Yes, that title is supposed to be ironic and kind of funny too.
It seems that a young man running for Congress for the State of Tennessee is in hot water with the liberal left.
The Video:
WKRN, Nashville News, Nashville Weather and Sports
The story via WKRN in Nashville:
NASHVILLE, Tenn. –
Republican U.S. Congressional candidate Brad Staats continues to defend a controversial Facebook post.Brad Staats posted a picture of a handgun along with the statement, “Many people keep asking me about my opinion on Second Amendment rights. Apparently Tennesseans are part of that crazy crowd that Obama says cling to their religion and guns. Well then I must be part of that crazy crowd. Here is something that I usually have with me. Welcome to Tennessee Mr. Obama where we appreciate our [Second] Amendment rights and the constitution that was wisely given to us by our founding fathers.”
At a Lipscomb University event on Monday night, Staats told Nashville’s News 2, “I’m going to say what I mean and mean what I say and I want Tennesseans and Americans to know that I’m not going to back up on what I say.”
Staats said the Facebook post was never meant to be an attack on the president but it is in reference to the recently passed U.N. Small Arms Treaty.
“I do want President Obama to know as well as the rest of Congress and everyone else regarding our constitutional, rights don’t tread on America’s constitution,” said Staats. “I think that your liberties, your life can be defended by the proper instructed use of a handgun.”
Staats said his strong stance on handguns stems from his mother’s own personal experience.
He said, “She would have either been raped or murdered had she not had a handgun in her car she actually got ran off a road and it was obvious she was getting ready to be assailed.”
It is a fair defense and I would have done the same damned thing. There was no threat implied at all; this is a tactic of the liberal left and yes, the Neoconservative right (AKA FAKE!) does the same damned thing too. They call threat, anytime someone posts a pic of a gun or other related matter and the name Obama. It is a disgrace and when this stuff happens the first amendment is being trampled upon. How many times did people have signs saying “Kill Bush?” Plenty.
So, this whole thing is a bad joke and the liberal left knows it. They say “But, oh! He’s black!” I got one thing to say about all that: Big ‘effin’ deal. The truth is, the President has more security around him, than Bush ever did, so the chances of him being shot and killed is slim to none. Unless someone seriously screws up at the secret service, which will never happen.
