This is why I do not go to protests. Because I happen to think that they’re pointless. I mean, seriously, what do they change? Nothing. The Obama Administration is going to do what the hell they want to do. My point is, why bother? Anyhow, Some Conservatives and liberals held protests. A liberal blogger got caught on video saying that the tea parties are financed by Fox News, Conservative Bloggers snickered and she responded; personally, I don’t believe Fox is financing anything, but rather more like cashing in on populist outrage. Mainly because it is something, anything, that is Anti-Barack Obama. Because he’s like this Muslim Terrorist Liberal President that they hate with the flames of fire, mainly because he is black a Liberal.
So, as you can see, my Give-a-fuck meter is like at zero. When it comes to this stuff.
Although, I will say this, I happen to think that Jane Hamsher is quite hot, and I will most likely be having fantasies about have hot, nasty sex with her for a few weeks now. I don’t give a rip if she is a liberal; I’m sorry, I’d hurt that, badly. In fact, when I got done with her, she’d be walking funny and would have white stuff running out of her nose and would be saying “FireDogWhat?” 😉 😛 😀
The police booking photo of alleged child killer Nour Hadid released Tuesday is an “insult against our religion,” says Hadid’s husband, Alaeddin.
Orland Park police detectives say the 26-year-old Muslim woman was treated as any other suspect in a murder probe would be, and they did not intend to humiliate her when they photographed her Sunday without her headscarf and wearing only a skimpy top.
Nour Hadid is accused of beating her 2-year-old niece Bhia Hadid to death over four days at her home on the 9000 block of West 140th Street. The child had 55 separate bruises and was beaten “from head to toe,” according to prosecutors, who say Hadid confessed.
But Alaeddin Hadid – who insists his wife is innocent – said Orland Park police are “really going to be in big trouble” for releasing the woman’s booking photo to the news media after she was charged with first-degree murder.
The Hadids are Muslims and Nour “never leaves the home without covering up,” said Alaeddin, who’s vowed to sue.
Here’s hoping that this woman and family runs up against a jury that knows that the Muslim customs end at the booking spot and at the jail cell. Women mercilessly kills a child and then complains because her religious customs were violated? Unreal.
She’s damned lucky she did not mysteriously end up dead in the jail cell.
…and they call it a Religion of peace. I call bullshit! If she was not in America we would not have this problem. The solution is a mass deportation away.
Unreal Ronnie Howard is just another Liberal tool. He’s come long way from his Opie Days:
Film director Ron Howard is “very optimistic” about the future of America, so long as the nation makes an “adjustment,” to fulfill his hope a “more progressive” nation will mean “at a certain point I don’t think we’ll be so consumed with being the pre-eminent super-power and, you know, driven by sort of militarism and this need to export, you know, democracy.” Howard’s reasoning, on Friday night’s Real Time with Bill Maher, came in response to Maher’s formulation that America has “seen better days. We’re sort of in place that has made a lot of people nervous. Some people would say this country has jumped the shark.”
Howard, who is out promoting ‘Angels & Demons,’ a sequel to ‘The Da Vinci Code,’ replied: “I’m a very optimistic person and I don’t want to feel like there isn’t growth, but there needs to be an adjustment anyway.” He proceeded to credit the insights he gained working on his movies with Europeans: “I’ve actually spent a lot more time in Europe and working with crew members and actors and understanding how they live and how they think.” Howard predicted “our lives are going to be better” because “we’re going to be more progressive.”
I was not going to blog about this, because I did not want to see this become another one of those “Crazy gun” stories, but seeing CNN is reporting it, I will:
Two people were shot and killed Friday at a community college in Dearborn, Michigan, in what police believe was a murder-suicide, an official said.
The Henry Ford Community College campus in Dearborn, Michigan, was locked down after the shooting.
Henry Ford Community College - Arts Building
A man and woman were found dead in a classroom building on the campus of Henry Ford Community College, Dearborn Deputy Chief Gregg Brighton said.
Investigators believe the man shot the woman but would not provide further information, Brighton said.
A shotgun was involved in the incident, which occurred in a classroom that was not being used, he said.
“We’re in the very preliminary stages,” Brighton said. “We’ve just made the scene safe. The crime lab is on the scene with detectives.” Video Watch Brighton describe the scene »
Police responding to a report of gunfire at the school had entered the south hallway of the Fine Arts Building when they heard another gunshot, Brighton said.
“We were in the building when we heard the shotgun blast, and when we finally got to that room, we had two deceased parties,” he said at a news conference. “We believe this is a murder-suicide.”
The campus was briefly in lockdown and will remain closed for the rest of the Friday, a school official said.
Needless to say, I was quite shocked that this happened. I have been to Henry Ford College before. For a testing session for my Technician Class (now called Tech Plus, I think…) License. For those that do not know, I am a licensedAmateur Radio Operator. (or Ham Operator…) I am not active at the moment, I need a new H.F. Antenna. But Anyhow, I have been to that college once for a testing session. Also, A friend of mine went to Henry Ford College for Automotive training. Henry Ford Community College is exactly 7.32 miles from my house, according to Mapquest. I do not have any details on the shooting, other than what the local media is reporting, that the families and police are searching for answers (Via WXYZ-TV):
McGowan is described as an inspiring actress, singer and dancer.
“That was her favorite thing, dancing, singing and film,” said McGowan’s mother Pamela Peterson. “She wanted to do it all, she had nothing but life in her and I don’t understand how it was snuffed out today.”
“That’s one thing that I admire about my cousin, she very, very ambitious. If there wasn’t a way, she was going to make it happen. I’m at a loss for words,” said cousin Rashida Morris.
“She was beautiful, an aspiring actress and dancer,” said Turahn McGowan, who added that his daughter had planned to try out for the Fox network’s “So You Think You Can Dance” talent competition.
Peterson said her daughter was not romantically involved with Powell.
Investigators said that it appeared Powell made several advances but was turned down each time.
Police said McGowan was rehearsing a scene in the empty room at Henry Ford Community College when Powell barged in.
My heart goes out to this family, and my prayers go out as well. My the Lord help to try and make sense of this kind of an awful tragedy.
Michael M. Crow, president of Arizona State University, tells POLITICO that the school is reconsidering its widely mocked plans not to give President Barack Obama an honorary degree when he speaks at commencement on May 13 and will “honor him in every way possible.”
“There was no intended slight,” Crow said by telephone from his office in Tempe. “We had not yet talked about what honors we might give him as our commencement speaker, and we still have a month to work all that out. We don’t want anyone to think we do not recognize what he has achieved and what he means in America.”
A formal decision has not been made, but it was clear from Crow’s comments that the university is headed in that direction. ASU risked becoming a national punch line if it did not quickly retreat from its policy against conferring honorary degrees on a sitting politician.
At first blush one would expect me to basically call them cowards; however, if you really think about it. I can see their position. Being elected Americas first black President, is a feat unto itself. So, while I can agree with my fellow Conservatives who say that President Barack Obama has no resume, there is something to be said about being elected President and being black. Accuse me of being a turncoat, or a secret liberal if you wish; but history was made in 2008, A black man was elected President, that has never happened in America before. Sean Hannity can rip on the guy all he likes, and I can understand why, He doesn’t like his politics. Admittedly; neither do I, but I am not going to sit here and act like having a black President is not a sea change of the standard in America.
So, while I think sticking to principles is a good and honorable thing, I think in this case, it is better to gave the honorable degree and move on. Rather than to face the onslaught. If people had listened to Senator Barry Goldwater, we could not be in this postion, but we’re stuck with it now. So, might as well just do the right thing.
Remember when I wrote about the Liberal Bloggers complaining about not getting paid to promote the special causes? Well, it seems that AARP is talking back:
Because we understand the influence and reach of online communities we have worked with BlogAds, an important resource for marketers targeting blog communities, on targeted ad campaigns over the last year. On May 4, 2007, Daily Kos founder Markos Moulitsas stated that, “…Blogads has been perhaps the single most important component to the rise of the liberal blogosphere. And it will continue to play a huge role as we grow in years ahead.” Thanks to BlogAds, AARP ads have been made available to the likes of Daily Kos, Wonkette, Atrios, Talking Points Memo, Americablog, Crooks and Liars, Firedoglake, Political Wire, Red State, Outside the Beltway, Power Line, Townhall and others.
Our ongoing commitment to supporting and participating in the online community means that we intend to continue working with bloggers and to support the growth of this community.
However, they also said:
As publishers of the world’s largest magazine and the preeminent online destination for individuals 50+, we understand the desire to pursue advertising revenue. Additionally, no one is immune from our current economic crisis and we can appreciate your plea for increased ad revenue. That said, we also strongly honor the integrity of our journalists and writers/editors/content developers. AARP would never allow advertisers to dictate our editorial content based on the amount of ad space purchased, and we would be hesitant to buy ads with any media that suggested it might act otherwise.
Ouch! In other words, we’ll advertise where we damn well please, thank you very much. 😮
“It seems that what we are seeing in the return of the Churchill bust is less a personal vendetta against Churchill the man and more an open breach in the Western continuum out of which a new orientation toward the Third World will become increasingly apparent. Having achieved a Washington-like apotheosis in the American imagination, Churchill serves not only as the preeminent symbol of resolve, courage and faith against the enemies of Western civilization. He serves as a symbol of Western civilization, period.”
The return of the Churchill bronze confirmed the suspicion that Obama was anti-Occident. The habit of giving inappropriate, thoughtless presents? as he and his family are deluged with wild effusions of love and lavish gifts? this shows Obama to be, well, a bit of a pig.
George Will once wrote that “manners are the practice of a virtue. The virtue is called civility, a word related—as a foundation is related to a house—to the word civilization.”
The ability to mind one’s manners in dealing with others is a reflection of the mettle of a man. Or a woman.
Seeing this is the big Meme at the moment, I thought I would post it and share my comments.
The Video:
The Money Quote:
Woman: [Shouts] “Burn the books!” [applause]
Man: “I don’t think you were serious about that, were you?”
Woman: “I am too.”
Man: “Burn all the books?!”
Woman: “The ones in college, those, those brainwashing books.”
Man: “[laughs] Brainwashing books?”
Woman: “Yes.”
Man: “Which ones are those?”
Woman: “Like, the evolution crap, and, yeah…”
The part about burn the books comes at about 5:00 or so.
Okay here’s my take. No, I do not personally believe that Obama is a some sort of Pseudo-Commie. I think he is a socialist, his polices have proven this. But, no I do not believe he is a communist. However, there is this:
All Communists are for socialism, seeing it as a transition stage to communism, a higher stage of economic, political, and social development. All socialists aren’t for communism; some see Communists as too radical.
Socialism is social ownership of the main means of production (factories, transportation) and the commanding heights of an economy (banks and other financial institutions) and runs them in the interests of the working people, using part of the value that workers produce to build up the social institutions and benefits for the whole people.
Communism, as we see it, is a more advanced stage that comes after socialism. Communism, a stage of development never reached anywhere yet, reduces the state apparatus to minimal administrative functions, since people and society will have advanced past the need for coercive functions like armies, and will directly and indirectly provide people with the full benefits of the labor they engage in.
We see communism as a later stage of development. A stage when the production of the necessities of life has become plentiful, when there will no longer be shortages of food, housing, jobs, health care and education.
We see communism as a stage when governments can “wither away” to mere administrative agencies rather than maintain coercive control on behalf of exploiting classes through armies, police forces, court systems, tax agencies.
Socialism, which we are advocates of, is a transitional stage between capitalism and communism, a stage where a change in production relations, social relations, and individual outlooks become solidified.
When people have gone through a prolonged period of living in a society not based on scarcity, exploitation, and oppression, and when production for use rather than profit is a well-established economic system, and when the productive forces have advanced to be able to provide for the needs of all people, then society will be able to advance to communism. Communists are advocates of both socialism and communism.
In a socialist country, there is still a struggle that goes on between the ruling working class and the dispossessed capitalist class inside the country, and between the working class in power in one country and the capitalist class in power in other countries. The stage of socialism, as we have learned from experience, is not irreversible, and there is not a short, quick march to communism. – Source US Communist Party F.A.Q. Section
So, the truth is, Obama is one step away from Communism. Obama is at the beginning stages of Communism. I mean, I know the Liberals do not like to hear it, but it is true. Big Government or socialism is the beginning stages of Communism. It’s just a simple fact. But Liberals do not want to hear that. What gets me, is Charles Johnson, of little green footballs, is the one who initially posted this. That’s because he’s a Neo-Conservative. Neo-Conservatives are mainly former Democrats. Neo-Cons are not bothered by big Government; unlike we true Conservatives, or Paleo-Cons. So, I am not shocked he would post this in such a mocking tone.
…and before anyone says, “Well, you’re a former Democrat!” Wrong. Why? For one, I never joined the party and Because I rejected and still do reject the Wilsonian Foreign policy of the Neo-Cons. I just do not support of idea of a Interventionist Foreign Policy.
