Rand Paul sells out his Father’s Birthright

I saw this morning and I could not believe what I was hearing. Rand Paul has basically sold out his Father’s Libertarian Birthright. Just so he can have a shot at running in 2016.

Kentucky Republican Sen. Rand Paul took what very well could be considered his most pro-Israel stance yet, saying in an interview that an attack on Israel should be treated as an attack on the United States.

Asked whether the United States would stand with Israel and provide it foreign aid if the Jewish state were attacked by its enemies, Paul went a step further.

“Well absolutely we stand with Israel,” he said in an interview with Breitbart News, “but what I think we should do is announce to the world – and I think it is pretty well known — that any attack on Israel will be treated as an attack on the United States.”

There is no two ways about it, Rand Paul is not his Father at all. His Father has principles; Rand sold his out for a little power and to placate a protected minority. It is sad that Rand Paul is more interested in pleasing a small part of the so-called “right” in order to get the blessing of the banksters and mobsters of the elitists in DC.

But, that is politics and it is proof that we need real Americans in DC. Not these rich elitists, who never had to use their backs to make a living.

Jennifer Rubin never met a diamond that she couldn’t polish

Hey, the way I see it, if she can get away with slandering a public servant like Chuck Hagel, then so can I. She, and the Jewish right are doing this because Chuck Hagel does not run around with his nose firmly planted up the Israeli Lobby’s ass. As he should not.

Screw them, screw them hard. It is because Rubin and the rest of the goddamned Jewish right, that we have 4000+ of our young man and woman in graves across this Country; from fighting a war that had ZERO to do with 9/11! All because President George W. Bush could not be bothered to check to see of the intellegence that “Curveball” in Germany gave us was good or not.

People want to know what is wrong with the Republican Party? Start looking at the damned Neocons, and the history of the Jewish Right; and you will see just what is wrong the Republican Party!

…and don’t even get me started on the fact that Rubin and her ilk are the direct descendants who brought bogus charges against the Lord Jesus Christ and put him on the cross. I haven’t forgotten about that; and neither has God the Father. Their judgement is coming and swiftly. I await the day with hope and faith that the Lord will give unto those who played the role of useful idiot to Satan himself. One of my biggest beefs with the Christian world is that they seem to be “hell-bent,” So to speak —- on shoving THEIR version of Christianity down my throat. I have my personal and very private beliefs thank you and I ask you nicely — don’t tread on me and my private convictions.

Good job: Sen. Ted Cruz smacks down Feinstein gun ban bill

When I heard about this idiot bill and this idiot woman’s little show, I thought, “how dumb can you get?” 

As Senate Democrats unveiled an “assault weapons ban” encompassing a variety of rifles, shotguns, and pistols, the newest lawyer in the U.S. Senate pointed out that “real assault weapons” have been illegal since 1934. “Washington politicians shouldn’t be taking advantage of recent tragedy to try to push an aggressive gun control agenda,” said Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, in a statement today. “Real assault weapons—machine guns—are already functionally illegal, and they have been since 1934. This proposal would have done nothing to prevent the terrible murders in Newtown, but it would limit the constitutional liberties of law-abiding citizens.” Through the National Firearms Act of 1934, Congress imposed “a tax on the making and transfer of machine guns and certain other weapons, as well as a special occupational tax on persons and entities engaged in the business of importing, manufacturing and dealing in those weapons,” according to the Law Center to Prevent Gun Violence. The tax was $200 (in 1934, the U.S. dollar was valuable enough that 200 bucks was a lot of money). You would think that the Democrats would have learned their lessons from this stupidity in the 1990’s. But, I guess they really want to lose the election again in 2014 and 2016. This bill will go nowhere, it will not be even brought up for a vote in the Senate. But, it will make people like Feinstein feel like they have tried to do something. 

What is killing the unions?

There is a good reason for this, it is economic related, but there is another problem as well.

But first, the story:

WASHINGTON (AP) — Union membership plummeted last year to the lowest level since the 1930s as cash-strapped state and local governments shed workers and unions had difficulty organizing new members in the private sector despite signs of an improving economy.

Government figures released Wednesday showed union membership declined from 11.8 percent to 11.3 percent of the workforce, another blow to a labor movement already stretched thin by battles in Wisconsin, Indiana, Michigan and other states to curb bargaining rights and weaken union clout.

Overall membership fell by about 400,000 workers to 14.4 million, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. More than half the loss, about 234,000, came from government workers, including teachers, firefighters and public administrators.

The fatal flaw of the protectionist racket is this right here. When you close the shop to outsiders and do not allow employers to hire new people; such is the case with the big three — eventually, your membership roll begin to decline as your members begin to die off. Right now in the agreement which the UAW has with the big three in their contracts and that is that they cannot hire anyone from outside any of GM’s plants, unless they bring back someone who is laid off first. This stems the tide of new employees, and thus decreases membership rolls.

On the other hand, another thing that is happening too, is that the big three, when someone retires from one of the plants; does not hire anyone to replace that person. They simply pull someone from another plant or someone else from within that plant to fill that job. This too, causes membership rolls to dwindle. The reason the auto companies do this, is because they do not want to have to contend with the Unions about who they can or cannot hire and so forth. Not only that, if they do actually hire someone in, they want to hire that person in for half the wages that the other union folk are actually making. This, in this writers opinion, is totally unfair. If you are going to hire someone in, hire them in accordance the contract agreed to by the union membership.

Another thing that is killing the union is these so-called “free trade” agreements. Which were passed by globalist Republicans and Democrats and signed by an internationalist Democratic Party President, Bill Clinton. These agreements are starving the American worker out of a job. Furthermore, the unions suffer as well. Patrick Buchanan, who is about the only Conservative writer, that I happen to think is worth two cents anymore; has been writing the same thing for years and he is right about it too.

America’s soul is being robbed, by the ones who claim to represent the people that make up it’s very soul — and it is not Republicans either. Until the Democrat Party becomes a pro-America party again and not this internationalist mess that it has become now. America’s standing in the World will be what it is now — minimal.

Military to lift ban on woman in combat

Boy do I ever feel sorry for the terrorists! 😯

WASHINGTON — Defense Secretary Leon E. Panetta is lifting the military’s official ban on women in combat, which will open up hundreds of thousands of additional front-line jobs to them, senior defense officials said Wednesday. The groundbreaking decision overturns a 1994 Pentagon rule that restricts women from artillery, armor, infantry and other such combat roles, even though in reality women have frequently found themselves in combat in Iraq and Afghanistan, where more than 20,000 have served. As of last year, more than 800 women had been wounded in the two wars and more than 130 had died. Defense officials offered few details about Mr. Panetta’s decision but described it as the beginning of a process to allow the branches of the military to put the change into effect. I mean, I can see it now, a group of about 100 women — it’s that time of the month — and their fearless leader says, “Hey Ladies? You see that little towel-headed mofo over there? He hollered over here a minute ago and said that he has seen goats prettier than you!”

Al-Qaeda.will.not.stand.a.chance.in.hell…… 😯 Especially if some of them women happen to be related to anyone who died in the 9/11 attacks or in the Iraq or Afgan conflicts. There is nothing more brutal than a butch lesbian, who is a bit of a good shot.

Believe it or not, Hillary might actually be telling the truth

I am, of course, talking about the story below: 

“With all due respect, the fact is we had four dead Americans,” Clinton responded, raising her voice at Johnson, who continued to interrupt her. “Was it because of a protest or was it because of guys out for a walk last night who decided to kill some Americans? What difference at this point does it make? I will not bother posting the video, as I saw it and the Rand Paul video. Now there is a chance that Hillary might actually be telling the truth about her knoweldge about Libya. The reason I say this is because it is now very well known that President Bush was totally out of the loop on the situtation in Iraq until it was much too late for him to really do anything about it. I mean, Bush was out of loop in 2006 very badly, as his lower in command did not want him to be upset about the outbreak of violence there. 

I know it sounds crazy, but, the ol’ gal might be actually being truthful here. Now, as for her statement of, “What does it matter?” Oh, that is not going to play well for her, if she decided to run for President. Because you have to know that the Republicans and yes, maybe even the Democrats will play that one against here. All it would take is a well-funded Democrat who is a bit of a blue dog to play that for all it is worth. 

What is sad though, is that the right is turning the Libya thing into a partisan witch hunt; and that is sad for the familes of those killed on that fateful day.

Is the murdering of the unborn the new normal in America?

I really dislike having to write things like this; but I cannot be silent on this issue. It, to me, is that important. As I have written in my blog’s long bio; my feelings about pro-life versus pro-choice are basically inline with this organization here.

Having said all of that; I happen to see this on Memeorandum and even as a pro-life independent, who tends to disagree with the far-left and the far-right, I was quite shocked to read it.

Check out this quote from liberal progressive website, Salon.com:

I believe that’s what a fetus is: a human life. And that doesn’t make me one iota less solidly pro-choice. . . .

Here’s the complicated reality in which we live: All life is not equal. That’s a difficult thing for liberals like me to talk about, lest we wind up looking like death-panel-loving, kill-your-grandma-and-your-precious-baby storm troopers. Yet a fetus can be a human life without having the same rights as the woman in whose body it resides. She’s the boss. Her life and what is right for her circumstances and her health should automatically trump the rights of the non-autonomous entity inside of her. Always.

Well, luckily for me, National Review, which is a solidly Republican publication, has a blog called “The Corner” and a writer there by the name of Katrina Trinko sums it up quite nicely, as to how I feel:

By this same logic, isn’t infanticide also fine and dandy? After all, if we’re talking about autonomy, kids aren’t exactly independent as soon as they are born. No infant can take care of themselves. And even later on in childhood, children rely heavily on the adults in their life to provide shelter, food, and emotional support. What about kids and adults who become disabled in life? What about quadriplegics? They’re not going to be able to take care of themselves. Is it okay if we just off the lot of them? Heck, what about needy friends who seem to be falling apart unless we talk to them regularly and console them? Okay to just shoot a couple of them so that we don’t have the burden? Should we ship the grandparents that spent all their money and are now financially dependent on us to the local executioner?

Yes, if the fetus is a life — and a human being — and not a clump of cells, that makes a huge difference. No one would ask a woman to respect the rights of a clump of cells. But it is valid to ask her, difficult as it is to have an unwanted pregnancy, to realize that the death of the child — the child who was totally innocent and has done nothing except be conceived — is not an appropriate way to handle this.

I have one word: Amen.

I have news for Democrats, especially the progressive part of that party. You are not doing a darned thing for your party or your cause. Because as much as I am for Unions, the middle class and seeing that our poor are taken care of, and not allowed to starve or like here in Michigan; not to freeze…. NailbitingI just cannot and will not, ever, agree with this sort of inhuman philosophy. I am a Christian of 30 year vintage and my Bible says, “Thou Shalt Not Kill.” Now, I realize that people like Ed Brayton will not like this at all. However, this is just one issue that is not up for debate at all, at least not with me.

Everything else, politics, economics — everything — is up for debate. However, the wholesale slaughter of the unborn is not something that I am willing to concede on, not one iota.
