Clive Bundy in the crosshairs…..for telling the truth

Clive Bundy, whom I have written about before, let some of that politically incorrect truth slip; and of course, the New York Times was there to catch it.

Quoting Mr. Bundy:

He said he would continue holding a daily news conference; on Saturday, it drew one reporter and one photographer, so Mr. Bundy used the time to officiate at what was in effect a town meeting with supporters, discussing, in a long, loping discourse, the prevalence of abortion, the abuses of welfare and his views on race.

“I want to tell you one more thing I know about the Negro,” he said. Mr. Bundy recalled driving past a public-housing project in North Las Vegas, “and in front of that government house the door was usually open and the older people and the kids — and there is always at least a half a dozen people sitting on the porch — they didn’t have nothing to do. They didn’t have nothing for their kids to do. They didn’t have nothing for their young girls to do

“And because they were basically on government subsidy, so now what do they do?” he asked. “They abort their young children, they put their young men in jail, because they never learned how to pick cotton. And I’ve often wondered, are they better off as slaves, picking cotton and having a family life and doing things, or are they better off under government subsidy? They didn’t get no more freedom. They got less freedom.”

…..and of course, the liberal Blogosphere; and one guy, who claims to be a Conservative were all over it. Now, was Bundy’s remarks offensive? Heck no! Quite frankly, considering what happened to my cousin in 1994 and what happened to me recently in Indianapolis; not to mention how some of them like to treat white people —-  I quite honestly sometimes wonder if we wouldn’t have been better off leaving those bastards in them freaking cotton fields!

Just my opinion.

Update #3: This topic is now a major memeorandum thread. I think that this right here, along with the fact that my blog’s stats are up a bit; proves to even the most casual of observer, that freedom of speech simply does not exist in this Country any longer. Oh, you can say what you want; but if it does not fit into the guidelines of the politically correct establishment; you will maligned, slandered and in Clive Bundy’s case, your livelihood destroyed. The Government could not bring Mr. Bundy down. But the PC police darn sure will. So, to the so-called ‘conservatives” who are running from Bundy; pat yourselves on the back, you just handed a victory to the Marxist left, they got another scalp. 😡

Update #5: Clive Bundy’s son defends his Dad’s good name. “My Dad is not a racist.” I doubt it would be enough; but kudos to Mr. Bundy’s son for defending his daddy.
