About Our Principles PAC, via BallotPedia:

Established on January 14, 2016, Our Principles was created by Katie Packer as an anti-Donald Trump super PAC. Packer was Mitt Romney‘s deputy campaign manager in 2012.[4] Packer is also a founding member of Burning Glass, an Alexandria-based Republican consulting firm.[5] According to FEC documents, Jamie Jodoin is listed as the treasurer and custodian of records. Jodoin is a political accounting specialist for the Tampa-based accounting firm, Robert Watkins & Company.[6][7]

A week after being established, Our Principles sent out mailers opposing Trump’s candidacy for president. The super PAC spent nearly $45,000 with DDC Advocacy to send the mailers to Iowa voters.[1][8] At the same time, Our Principles spent $88,000 on media placements and $36,000 on the national distribution of online ads opposing Trump.[9] On January 26, 2016, the super PAC recorded spending over $1 million for ad space through GCW Media Services.[10] As of January 29, 2016, the FEC records indicate that Our Principles PAC has spent over $1.5 million in opposing Trump’s candidacy. It is unclear, at this point, how much the super PAC has raised in contributions.

The super PAC also operates TrumpQuestions.com, a site that criticizes Trump’s policies on health care, immigration, taxes, abortion and his stance on the Supreme Court. The site uses excerpts from previous communications made by Trump and compares them with his campaign trail statements. The site also hosts a number of video ads opposing Trump.[11]

In late February 2016, Our Principles released an ad entitled “Big Money”, which accuses Trump of hiring illegal immigrants for the construction of Trump Tower. The ad alleges that Trump had paid “a million-dollar fine” for having hired illegal immigrants. The ad, according to Politico, will air nationally.[12]

In March 2016, Tim Miller, former Republican presidential candidate Jeb Bush‘s spokesman, was hired by Our Principles as the super PAC’s communications director. Miller described his role thusly: “I’m working to ensure that Donald Trump is not the nominee. I made an effort for Jeb to be the nominee, and my focus is now on ensuring it’s not Donald Trump.”[13]

Just another establishment hit job on the forerunner in the election. It will do nothing at all. Nice try though! I guess Mittens and the establishment are worried; sort of like the Democrats; but then again, I repeat myself. 😆

Todd Palin injured in snowmobile accident

This isn’t good.

Sarah Palin canceled a campaign stop for Donald Trump in Florida on Monday after her husband Todd was injured in a snowmobile crash in Alaska.A source told NBC News that Todd Palin was in “a very serious” crash Sunday night and is currently hospitalized in intensive care.

Todd In a statement, Trump’s campaign said: “Todd Palin was in a bad snow machine accident last night and is currently hospitalized. Governor Palin is returning to Alaska to be with her husband and looks forward to being back on the campaign trail soon. Mr. Trump’s thoughts and prayers are with the Palin family at this time. – Source: Palin Cancels Trump Event After Husband in ‘Serious’ Snow Machine Crash – NBC News

My thoughts and prayers are with Todd and the Palin family at this time.

UPDATED: The Meltdown Begins: Breitbart Editor at Editor-at-large Ben Shapiro and Reporter Michelle Fields resign TWO MORE STAFFERS RESIGN

Update: Politico reports that National security correspondent Jordan Schachtel and associate editor Jarrett Stepman have resigned.

****
Original Story:

Man, sleep in one day; and boy did I ever! — did not crawl out of bed till 12:30 in the afternoon —- and major news breaks. Hopefully, I write this right; I’m still nursing the coffee mug and the vape. So, bear with me here. 😛

I knew this was coming, but I did not expect it this soon. I figured that Ben and Michelle would hold out until after the election. I guess the staff over there, are really ticked about the way the owners handled the situation.

BuzzFeed has the scoop:

Breitbart reporter Michelle Fields and editor-at-large Ben Shapiro are resigning from the company over the site’s handling of Donald Trump’s campaign manager’s alleged assault on Fields, BuzzFeed News has learned.

Fields and Shapiro informed Breitbart News chair Steve Bannon of their decision Sunday night.

“Today I informed the management at Breitbart News of my immediate resignation,” Fields said in a statement sent to BuzzFeed News. “I do not believe Breitbart News has adequately stood by me during the events of the past week and because of that I believe it is now best for us to part ways.”

In his own statement, Shapiro said the episode was emblematic of how he believes the site’s management had sold out the legacy of its founder and namesake, the late Andrew Breitbart.

“Andrew’s life mission has been betrayed,” Shapiro wrote. “Indeed, Breitbart News, under the chairmanship of Steve Bannon, has put a stake through the heart of Andrew’s legacy. In my opinion, Steve Bannon is a bully, and has sold out Andrew’s mission in order to back another bully, Donald Trump; he has shaped the company into Trump’s personal Pravda, to the extent that he abandoned and undercut his own reporter, Breitbart News’ Michelle Fields, in order to protect Trump’s bully campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski, who allegedly assaulted Michelle.”

Breitbart has been riven by internal strife in recent days after Trump’s campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski, allegedly grabbed Fields and yanked her away from Trump as she was attempting to ask him a question after a press conference in Florida. The Trump campaign denied the incident, despite considerable evidence to the contrary.

Breitbart published a story casting doubt on Fields’ account, appearing to side with the Trump campaign over their own reporter. Joel Pollak, a senior editor-at-large at the organization, ordered staffers to stop defending Fields. One source with knowledge of the situation said some staffers who publicly defended Fields had been threatened with firing.

“Both Lewandowski and Trump maligned Michelle in the most repulsive fashion,” Shapiro wrote in his resignation statement. “Meanwhile, Breitbart News not only stood by and did nothing outside of tepidly asking for an apology, they then attempted to abandon Michelle by silencing staff from tweeting or talking about the issue. Finally, in the ultimate indignity, they undermined Michelle completely by running a poorly-evidenced conspiracy theory as their lead story in which Michelle and Terris had somehow misidentified Lewandowski.”

The exodus, which began with the company’s spokesman Kurt Bardella, is unlikely to end with Fields and Shapiro. Three sources say multiple staffers are searching for a way out of the company — with several actively circulating résumés, according to two sources — and more resignations could follow in the coming days and weeks. The company is known for having editorial employees sign unusually strict contracts, at least some of which include non-compete clauses that could make it difficult to leave Breitbart for another news outlet.

Relations between Bannon and the site’s staff — which were already fraught with tension over the direction and editorial vision for the company — have deteriorated sharply over the episode with the Trump campaign. According to one company source with knowledge of the situation, some editors have discussed telling Breitbart News CEO Larry Solov they will quit unless Bannon is ousted. Solov did not immediately respond to a request for comment Sunday night.

Sorry to over quote that story; but it is all that good. Looks like the staff isn’t very happy. Like I wrote over in the comments section of this blog here; there have been issues with the staff over at Breitbart for a long while. Many people worked there have worked there; only to leave later on. Dana Loesch actually filed a lawsuit against the company over her contract there, before she moved to Glenn Beck’s network. So, this is really no big surprise to me at all.

What is really surprising to me is that a piece mocking Shapiro was published and then removed. Which tells me really all I need to know about that company. Andrew would be really furious as to how his company is being handled by these two jokers. There is a price to be a shill and these guys are now paying it. I support Trump myself; but I am not a shill, nor will I ever be —- and this above, is why.

Holy Crap!: NRO’s Kevin Williamson says that white, working class, Trump supporting communities “deserve to die”

Update: The Guys over at HotGas.net really hit the nail on the head, they really, really, do.

Update #2: Kevin French over at The Corner (What a lame name for a blog!) posts a pathetic defense of Williamson’s article.

The anti-Trump movement in the conservative circles has been astounding. To listen to some of these people, Donald Trump would be the incarnation of Adolf Hitler. Well, it has taken a new low. This morning, as I always do; I wandered over to HotAir.com to see what Jazz Shaw to say on Sunday. It has become a bit of a habit, I enjoy his writings, as he is a working class stiff, like myself. Plus too, Jazz is a very good writer, but don’t tell him I said that, his head will swell up and they will never get him out of that house. 😉

It was there, that I saw, highlighted by Mr. Shaw, one of the worst Anti-Trump articles written so far. It is an article written by a one Kevin Williamson, who writes for National Review Online, a decidedly anti-Trump publication, founded by William F. Buckley, who is among paleoconservatives; tantamount to a sewer rat.

With Video: Protester who rushed past secret service at Trump rally in Dayton, Ohio

The Video: (Via Gateway Pundit)

youtube placeholder image

The Story via NBC Washington:

A Donald Trump rally took a dramatic turn Saturday when a disturbance broke out behind the GOP frontrunner — causing Secret Service agents to jump on stage and form a wall around the candidate amid the commotion, NBC News reported.

A campaign spokeswoman said that a man at the Dayton, Ohio, event “attempted to breach the secure buffer and was removed rapidly and professionally.”

The suspect, identified as 22-year-old Thomas Dimassimo, was charged with disorderly conduct and inducing panic — both misdemeanors, Chief Mike Etter of the Dayton Airport Police Department told NBC News.

It was the first time at one of Trump’s events that agents had to swarm the stage in such a manner.

This guy Thomas Dimassimo has quite a profile, Click here to see.

I think what is happening here is that the left is scared to death that Hillary’s chances or even Bernie’s chances are being threatened and they are lashing out, in an organized manner. This is going to get worse, before it gets any better.

Interesting Reading: A Primer on Christian Dominionism

As I have written on here many times, I am opposed to Christian Dominionist movement, of which Ted Cruz is a part of.

Well, someone finally has did a write up on the movement. Ronnie Herne over at Newswithviews.com writes about the movement:

“Zealous men force their way in.” The Secret Kingdom by Pat Robertson (p. 82)

Dominionism. What is it? Where does it come from? And most importantly, where is it headed?

Dominionism simply means “dominance.” In our parlance here it means Christian dominance. The concept is as old as recorded history. It’s a desire to take over the world and remake it in your own image.

Dominionism here in the U.S. has been seriously percolating since the 70s or very early 80s. Many variants exist in the belief structures but there is only one goal: creating the earthly Kingdom of God. It matters not that Christ said, “My kingdom is not of this world.” The Dominionists forge ahead. They believe that in Genesis I:26-28 God gave man dominion over the earth. But when man fell from Grace many dominionists believe that Satan took over dominion of the earth.

They believe that Almighty God Himself cannot get the earth back unless the Dominionists first create a Christian government over all the world, starting right here in the United States. The Dominionists will create this Kingdom of God.

Only when this Kingdom is created can Christ come again the second time. And somewhere at or around that time, the good Christians will experience Rapture and be taken or ascended into heaven, and the other Christians and non-Christians will face maybe 7 years of Tribulation.

The Dominionists are a self-aggrandizing lot. Not just any Christian will do. No, a good Presbyterian like Donald Trump doesn’t qualify. The bulk of your Catholics don’t make the cut either. And forget the “Judeo-” in “Judeo-Christian”.

I highly recommend that you read the rest of that; as it is very, very, enlightening. Only thing that she missed is that the fact that Christian Dominionism is a politicization of “Kingdom Now Theology” made famous by Jack Hayford. Other than that; this article above and linked, is excellent.

Good question

Indeed it is…

VDare.com asks:

The perpetrators of this atrocity of course come from cultures in which free speech and civil discourse are not an objective value – including Sheyman.

But after Donald Trump has been repeatedly badgered about being tepidly approved of by a man with whom he has never had contact who more than a generation ago was involved with the KKK the question is obvious:

WILL BERNIE SANDERS DENOUNCE TRUMP’S VIOLENT REPRESSION BY HIS SUPPORTERS?

Will the MSM even ask?

Don’t hold your breath.
