To my listeners,

Thank you for your prayers and good thoughts over the past several days. Today, I am leaving Queens Hospital in Honolulu, feeling strong and rested. I offer my deepest thanks to the staff and administration there, who provided excellent care and supervision.

I’m going to take several days of rest over this weekend and the early part of next week, and will be back on the radio with you sometime next week, taking the advice of so many of you to rest and fully recover.

I wish each and every one of you a Happy New Year in 2010!

I do not know what David Broder is smoking, but I want a bag of it and some Zig Zags

Now this is something interesting to wake and read on New Years Day:

I watched as she made the rounds of the morning interview programs on Sunday, laying out what she knew about the would-be terrorist and carefully refusing to speculate about the many matters that were still being investigated. She is being criticized for saying “the system worked,” but her part of the response system did work.

It must have been a frantic time for her. She was in San Francisco, far from her Washington office, and she must have had a sleepless night. But her eyes were bright, and her voice was calm. Everything appeared to be completely normal, except that her usual sense of humor was absent, as it should have been, given the circumstances.

The Obama Cabinet is filled with talents, but many of the stars are of an age or temperament unlikely to turn them into successor candidates. Napolitano will face many substantive tests — not just in dealing with terrorism but in playing an important role in immigration reform — before she is a candidate for anything. But her potential is almost unlimited.

The dude is on harsh drugs; that has to be the explanation. I mean, when the National Review is calling David Broder crazy; then it must mean that your a couple hamburger patties short of a happy meal. Wow….Just Wow… The System worked, Oh, Wait, No it didn’t. Brilliant. 🙄

Update: I was kinda in a hurry to find a decent theme and I went and look at Mr. McCain’s and I liked it. So, I’m using it. I will be putting in a different header photo shortly — Works in a pinch. I also decided, that the top adsense banner is gone. screw it. I’ll just have a small banner and pray everyone clicks on it. I like bright themes anyhow, that dark stuff is just waaay too gloomy for me.

Ugh…. Work… on a Holiday no less… More Coffee. 🙄
