Of all the teachings of the Word of God, this one is the most important. Without the literal resurrection; Christianity is nothing more than a do-gooder social club. This is the distinct difference between other false religions and the one true God, who is Jesus Christ. He has no grave, he rose again and now is at the right hand of the Father. This is the basis for our faith.

So-called queer “Conservative” quits the GOP, takes his balls and goes home

One Word: Good.

We do not need people like him in the GOP no how.

Jimmy LaSalvia is a lifelong conservative activist. He likes low taxes and limited government and refers to the political party that disagrees with these views as the “Democrat” Party. He’s also gay and for years has been leading the fight for a place in the Republican Party for fellow gay conservatives; LaSalvia even started an advocacy group called GOProud when he found the Log Cabin Republicans to be far too liberal. But, on Monday, LaSalvia finally threw in the towel and changed his registration to be an independent. On his blog, he wrote “So, now I feel huge sense of freedom. I am an independent conservative. (That sounds much better than ‘gay Republican.’)”

In an interview with The Daily Beast, LaSalvia explained why he left the GOP. “I came to the realization that the leadership of the Republican Party just doesn’t share my principles and my values” said the conservative activist. “I am a limited government conservative and they’re big government people. I do not tolerate bigotry in any form and they do.  So I came to realize that they are wrong and I can’t continue to defend them or to let them stain my reputation any longer.”

 

Here is the problem with the above, homosexualiy according to the Word of God; that being the Holy Bible —- which is, in my belief system is the King James Bible — is a sin and an abomination to the Lord.

Here are the Holy Scriptures on the subject, including a quote from an inferior version of the Bible for those who cannot read proper english:

These beliefs are the core doctrines of Christianity. The Word of God. There is no tolerance, there is no looking away from that, it is the Word of God; period, end of discussion.

But yet, this so-called queer “Conservative” Jimmy LaSalvia says that I am bigoted, because I choose to believe this? That, in itself, is intolerance. Jimmy says that we Christians are bigoted, because we refuse to back away from what the Bible says and endorse this idiotic, Satanic idea that homosexuality is just normal. Sorry, Jimmy. But, you are simply guilty of what you accuse we Christians of being — Intolerant.

True Conservatism, tolerates other people’s opinions and does not wish to expel them from any sort of a political group. Ronald Reagan knew the truth and that truth is that Conservatism to work, required a three-legged stool. That stool was a three-legged stool, consisting of religious conservatives, national security conservatives, and economic/libertarian conservatives. Without one of these that stool would collapse under its own weight.

Another way of putting it is this: You try and expel social Conservatives or properly named, Conservative Christians out of the GOP? You will never win another election ever again. Conservative Christians; the larger group evangelical and the smaller group, Fundamentalists like myself; represent the biggest voting bloc in the GOP. If we go, so do your votes. You cannot win elections simply upon the idea of promoting only fiscal conservatism and defense. It simply will not work. It was tried in 1964 with Berry Goldwater and the GOP lost and I mean badly. The Christians HATED Berry Goldwater! In the end there was an ill fated attempt to mend fences with them; but it was too little too late.

So, there are few things that I would wish of Jimmy LaSalvia:

  1. I wish that he would truly accept Christ and turn his back on that sodomite lifestyle.
  2. I wish that would learn a bit of tolerance for those whom he disagrees with
  3. or at least, I wish we would stop lying to people and telling them that he is some sort of a Conservative. Because when you get down to the reality of the situation, it is impossible for homosexuals to be Conservatives or even Christians. Just be real and tell everyone that you are liberal and go to the Democratic Party where you truly belong.

Costco says that the Bible is fiction

This really does not shock me, seeing the world’s attitude toward Christianity anymore.

The Story:

What do the Bible, “The Hunger Games” and “Fifty Shades of Grey” have in common? All three are works of fiction, according to the booksellers at Costco.

Pastor Caleb Kaltenbach made that shocking discovery last Friday as he was shopping for a present for his wife at a Costco in Simi Valley, Calif.

“All the Bibles were labeled as fiction,” the pastor told me. “It seemed bizarre to me.”

Kaltenbach is the lead pastor at Discovery Church, a non-denominational Christian congregation in southern California.

He thought there must be some sort of mistake so he scoured the shelf for other Bibles. Every copy was plastered with a sticker that read, “$14.99 Fiction.”

When confronted by this, what does Costco do?

This:

I called Costco headquarters in Issaquah, Wash. hoping to get answers. The nice lady who answered the phone told me she was aware of the issue and chalked it up to a “human error at a warehouse.”

“It’s all fixed,” she said.

But actually, it’s not fixed – because there’s a boatload of Bibles in the Simi Valley store still marked as fiction.  

At that point, the nice lady on the phone became not-so-nice and promptly informed me that Costco doesn’t talk to the press.

“Nothing to report,” she said curtly.

A very important thing to remember:

On the one hand Christians should not yell out ‘persecution’,” he said. “We aren’t living in Iraq or Iran. But on the other hand, I believe that we do need to stand up for our faith and we need to be vocal about our concerns.”
That’s a message that resonates with pastor and author Robert Jeffress.

“Let’s hope Costco’s explanation is true and not the result of having been caught attempting to marginalize the very foundation of Christian beliefs, the Bible,” Pastor Jeffress told me. “Christians need to call out organizations like Costco whose actions undermine Christianity – regardless of whether those actions are accidental or intentional.”

Sometimes, a mistake is just that; a mistake. But, it does, like I am sure it does all that will read this, who are believers —- really wonder what Costco’s motivations were or are.  Also too; it would be easy for me to label this an “Obama World” thing. Well, I will not do that one; not on this one. Because what private businesses do are not the fault of the President. Most likely, if anything at all. This was done by some smart mouthed punk in a warehouse somewhere. So, I won’t blame politics or even atheists for this at all.

Useful idiots is what they are

My reply to this little quote of idiocy below:

That strikes me as quite right. In a region filled with despots and massive violations of human rights, Israel is the great, shining exception. Indeed, based on the evidence all around us, it is clear that Israel, more than any nation on earth, is held not simply to a double standard but to an impossible standard. Its own sacrifices for peace, which exceed those of any other country, are constantly overlooked even as the brutal acts of its enemies are excused. (I offer a very brief historical account of things here.)

Israel is far from perfect—but it is, in the totality of its acts, among the most estimable and impressive nations in human history. Its achievements and moral accomplishments are staggering—which is why, in my judgment, evangelical Christians should keep faith with the Jewish state. Set aside for now one’s view about the end times and God’s covenantal relationship with Israel. Israel warrants support based on the here and now; on what it stands for and what it stands against and what its enemies stand for and against; and for reasons of simple justice. What is required to counteract the anti-Israel narrative and propaganda campaign is a large-scale effort at education, not simply with dry facts but in a manner that tells a remarkable and moving story. That captures the moral imagination of evangelicals, most especially young evangelicals.

I’m sure some evangelical Christians would appreciate it if more American Jews showed more gratitude toward them for their support of Israel over the years. But frankly that matters very little to me, and here’s why: What ought to decide where one falls in this debate on Israel are not the shadows but the sunlight. On seeing history for what it is rather than committing a gross disfigurement of it. And on aligning one’s views, as best as one can, with truth and facts, starting with this one: The problem isn’t with Israel’s unwillingness to negotiate or even any dispute over territory (Israel has repeatedly proved it is willing to part with land for real peace); it is with the Palestinians’ unwillingness to make their own inner peace with the existence of a Jewish state

To the above I will simply say this: It is pretty hard to take Israel and it’s supporters seriously, when they go around saying that Obama should drop a nuke in the middle of the Iranian desert. Zionists have played the Evangelical Christian community as fools since the end of World War 2. In fact, today, even most Fundamentalist Christians are conned into the Zionist cottage industry. I use the following to submit to my readers that Christian Zionism is nothing more than an unholy alliance between Christians and Jews. This was taught before World War 2, and was practiced in the Fundamentalist Christian Churches of the 1940’s and early 50’s. When that happened, the Christian world began to compromise, and take up the Jewish cause. We true believers have nothing, at all; in common with the Jewish people. They are the ones who bought Jesus Christ to a rigged trial; and couldn’t even agree on the accusations against him — they are the ones who ordered the Romans to carry out his death sentence, and they are the ones that will pay the final price for being the devil’s useful idiots.

That is the result of the Jews who have rejected Jesus Christ as the Messiah of all Mankind.

Hats off to Norman Geisler for speaking the truth and standing for the Word of God!

The Story:

CHARLOTTE, North Carolina – Evangelical scholar and Southern Evangelical Seminary co-founder Norman Geisler spoke on the pluralistic aspect of Christianity at the school’s 20th annual Christian Apologetics conference last weekend and answered the question of whether there are several ways to God.

Religious pluralism is the belief that all religions are true and that all faith-based roads lead to heaven.  Geisler focused his message on the Biblical passage of Acts 4:1, which states that salvation is only found in Jesus Christ and no one else.

“Jesus is the only way because the Bible says it to be true,” said Geisler. “Why? Because only He can bridge the gap between God and man, there’s no other way.”

He said that although it seems narrow to suggest that Jesus is the only way, the notion holds true while adding that it is logically possible, historically probable, Biblically necessary and morally justifiable that He is the only way to heaven.

“All views can’t be true because all views are opposite, this is the logical aspect. For example, Islam says we are good in nature, Christianity says we are born in sin. Islam says God is a man, Christianity says He is more than a man, He is God, all truths can’t be the same,” said Geilser.

Good News: The Southern Baptist Convention tells it’s Military chaplains, “No Same Sex Marriages”

So good to see the SBC take a stand and draw the line in the sand, and telling the Sodomite crowd, “No Mas!”

The Story:

ALPHARETTA, Ga. (BP) — The North American Mission Board has issued new guidelines for Southern Baptist military chaplains in light of the U.S. military’s recognition of same-sex marriage. The guidelines reiterate Southern Baptist doctrine and the expectation that SBC chaplains will not participate in or attend wedding ceremonies for gay members of the military.

“Our chaplains want to uphold the authority and relevancy of Scripture while continuing to serve in a very diverse setting,” said Doug Carver, the retired Army major general who leads NAMB’s chaplaincy efforts. “We believe these updated guidelines will help them do that while still sharing the love and the hope of Christ with everyone.”

The updated guidelines are being issued in response to the military’s repeal of “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” and the U.S. Supreme Court’s abolishment of the Defense of Marriage Act. The U.S. military requires all chaplains to be endorsed by a recognized denomination. NAMB serves as the endorsing entity on behalf of Southern Baptists

Here are the updated regulations:

Doctrine — Chaplains will be expected to conduct their ministry in harmony with Article XVIII of the Baptist Faith and Message 2000: “All ministries regarding human sexuality will reflect the historic, natural and biblical view of marriage as God’s lifelong gift of ‘the uniting of one man and one woman in covenant commitment for a lifetime.'”

Pastoral care — The guidelines remind chaplains that Southern Baptists view all sexual immorality as sin that violates God’s biblical standards for purity and that “Responsible pastoral care will seek to offer repentance and forgiveness, help and healing, and restoration through the mercy and grace of Jesus Christ’s sacrificial gift of love on the cross,” the document states.

Restrictions — The guidelines state that “NAMB-endorsed chaplains will not conduct or attend a wedding ceremony for any same-sex couple, bless such a union or perform counseling in support of such a union, assist or support paid contractors or volunteers leading same-sex relational events, nor offer any kind of relationship training or retreat, on or off of a military installation, that would give the appearance of accepting the homosexual lifestyle or sexual wrongdoing. This biblical prohibition remains in effect irrespective of any civil law authorizing same-sex marriage or benefits to the contrary.” Chaplains also are prohibited from participating in jointly-led worship services “with a chaplain, contractor or volunteer who personally practices a homosexual lifestyle or affirms a homosexual lifestyle or such conduct.”

Pluralism — The guidelines acknowledge that SBC chaplains serve in a pluralistic setting but expect, under U.S. Department of Defense guidelines, that the rights and freedoms of chaplains will be protected so they may “preach, teach and counsel in accordance with the tenets of their denominational faith group and their own religious conscience.” In addition, chaplains are expected to: “Treat all service members, regardless of rank or behavior, with Christ-centered dignity, honor and respect while assisting the institutional leadership in its religious mission requirements and responsibilities as guaranteed by the First Amendment to the United States Constitution.”

Also too and I feel this to be very important:

NAMB President Kevin Ezell expressed support for SBC military chaplains and emphasized the need for Southern Baptists to remember them in prayer.

“For many members of our military — especially those deployed around the globe — our chaplains are the only pastors they have. That’s why it is so important that they uphold sound doctrine while showing everyone the love and forgiveness Jesus offers. We all need to be committed to praying for them in these challenging days.”

So, if you are a Christian, pray for these people. Because you know good and well that Satan, via the Liberal crowd will try and attack these chaplains for taking a stand against what the Sodomite world believes is normal.

This is what is wrong with the Church today

One of the biggest things that is wrong with the Church today is apostasy. A classic example is this below, this was written some woman who had some sort of “spiritual crisis.”:

One of the contemporary church’s problems is its rejection of Christianity’s contemplative heritage. As vital as a rich intellectual life and the study of theology are to our faith, information alone cannot yield produce transformation. Fortunately, our tradition brims with the wisdom of contemplatives and, dare I say mystics, who wrote about the why’s and how’s of spiritual union with God.  

Francis, a mystic himself, would advise the present-day church to revisit the practices and teachings of John Cassian, Teresa of Avila, John of the Cross, Thomas Merton, Brother Lawrence, Jean Pierre de Caussade, Simone Weil and Evelyn Underhill, among others. People are hungry not only for good biblical teaching but for rich experiential encounters with the living God. Are we ready to lay aside our prejudice against the teachings of our contemplative mothers and fathers?

Sorry, but the only person that I try to pattern my life after is Jesus Christ. He and he alone is the basis of my faith. Furthermore, anyone that wants to have an honest discussion about this heretical nonsense, I would recommend them to start RIGHT HERE.

If people want to know why society is on the downturn, and shootings are on the rise; this is a good place to start. Churches today do not preach the Word of God, they preach garbage and this is a good example of that.

On Rick Warren and his son

Recently, I extended a courtesy to a well-known blogger and I hope his readers and He extend that same courtesy to me.

As for Rick Warren and his now dead son; I am simply going to say what I said on twitter and facebook, which resulted in an apostate Christian blocking me, because I was too mean:

Rick Warren dealt in a modernistic, judge not, rock and roll style of Christianity. From a  Fundamentalist Baptist point of view, and according to the Word of God; he was a total and complete apostate. I happen to know that when you do this sort of thing, it catches up with you sooner of later. Look at Pharaoh in the Old Testament, Moses told him, “Let my people go” and he refused, and because of this, Pharaoh lost his firstborn son. It is the same concept. The Bible says:

If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men. Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord. (Romans 12:18-19 KJV)

The Lord is patient with people like Rick Warren. However, sometimes the Lord does things to get people, like Warren, to pay attention. This is all a part of getting Rick Warren right with God. Now, personally, I hope that Warren does get right with God! However, if I know Warren like I do; he will never leave that apostate doctrine that he teaches in his Church.

More Bible:

I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry. (2 Timothy 4:1-5 KJV)

Those scriptures are basically what Rick Warren is and he will not change at all. I would like to hope that he could and I rule nothing out, Warren could very well be convicted and come back to the truth of the Word of God, leave the Southern Baptist Convention and become a real Baptist again. But, to be quite honest; I highly doubt that this will ever happen.

To some, saying that Rick Warren “had it coming” is a horrible thing to say about a man losing his son. However, in the context of the Word of God. Rick Warren DID have it coming; when you rebel against the Word of God and think that you know more the God and his Word, and you decide to rebel and create your own “user-friendly” Jesus — you pay the price. When I backslid and decided that I was no longer interested in being a Christian, because of what other people did to me or around me; I paid a terrible price for it. Friends of mine died, my personal life went to shambles and in fact, I believe this season of unemployment is a direct result of things that I have done in the past.  Simply put: You reap what you sow.

….and it looks to me, like Rick Warren reaped the whirlwind.

It Begins: Evangelical Christians and the Catholic Church listed in Army training slide as extremists

This is something to put everyone on alert:

A U.S. Army training instructor listed Evangelical Christianity and Catholicism as examples of religious extremism along with Al Qaeda and Hamas during a briefing with an Army Reserve unit based in Pennsylvania, Fox News has learned.

“We find this offensive to have Evangelical Christians and the Catholic Church to be listed among known terrorist groups,” said Ron Crews, executive director of the Chaplain Alliance for Religious Liberty. “It is dishonorable for any U.S. military entity to allow this type of wrongheaded characterization.”

The incident occurred during an Army Reserve Equal Opportunity training brief on extremism. Topping the list is Evangelical Christianity. Other organizations listed included Catholicism, Al Qaeda, Hamas, the Ku Klux Klan, Sunni Muslims, and Nation of Islam.

The military also listed “Islamophobia” as a form of religious extremism.

Of course, when caught, the Army quickly raced to cover its butt:

Army spokesman George Wright told Fox News that this was an “isolated incident not condoned by the Dept. of the Army.”

“This slide was not produced by the Army and certainly does not reflect our policy or doctrine,” he said. “It was produced by an individual without anyone in the chain of command’s knowledge or permission.”

Wright said after the complaint was lodged, the presenter deleted the slide, and apologized.

“We consider the matter closed,” he said.

The incident was made public by a soldier who attended the briefing. He asked for copies of the presentation and sent them to the Chaplain Alliance.

“He considers himself an evangelical Christian and did not appreciate being classified with terrorists,” Crews told Fox News. “There was a pervasive attitude in the presentation that anything associated with religion is an extremist.”

Which is the story they always tell the public, when they do something and get caught doing it. I just wonder how long it will be, if the Lord tarries; before the United States Government will begin rounding up those who dare to read from the King James Version of the Bible and start imprisoning those Pastors who dare to preach that homosexuality is a sin and that abortion is murder. I think it will happen, before the Lord’s return myself. Why with the Anti-Defamation League — a leftist Jew-run organization; doing the bidding of the Obama Administration, it is a wonder now that Fundamentalists like myself are not in prison.

It goes without saying that we are in the last days. Things like this, are going to become more and more prevalent and will the norm eventually. As Jesus said, “Watch ye and Pray.” and that my friends, is all that we can really do. Watch and pray and be about our Father’s business; and wait for his blessed return.
