Fox News Channel’s Facebook bigotry problem.

I really hate to be the one to report this, but, because I am a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ, who abhors any sort of true and honest bigotry towards anyone, I must.

I came across this on facebook, now keep in mind; this is not an official Fox and Friends facebook page; but, rather, a “fan page” of the show.

The screenshots will tell the story.

Now this is what I said in response to the above and you can go read the replies to that reply of mine.

My reply:

Charles Patrick Adkins Okay it’s time for me to say something here. I am conservative, I am also a christian of a 32 year vintage.

I’m about this far from being a left wing liberal democrat as can be.

But the comments in this posting absolutely disgust me. yes I grew up in southwest detroit, I grow around blacks, I grew around whites and ‘specially I grew up around latinos.

I lived on the southwest side. Not that I agree with obama’s politics. But when i see people here accusing him of being a muslim accusing him up hating america accusing him a being some sort of pseudo terrorist; I’m sorry that’s nothing but straight hateful bigotry and should not be allowed on this page.

If you don’t like Obama’s politics, I understand that I don’t either; but let’s keep the anti black & bigoted comments off of here. Because its giving the left the ammunition that they need to defeat us in 2016.

The responses to what I wrote, were typical of the crowd that truly hates the President. I think Fox News channel needs to seriously clamp down on this one Again, go look at it, don’t take my word for it. I am going to do it; and I think everyone else, who reads this, should go to facebook and report this group as being a hate group.

I have written in the past to how this sort of bigotry is not compatible with true Conservative Christianity and more specifically Paleoconservatism. I will say this too, something needs to be done. This sort of hatred, has zero place in the Conservative movement, period. Whether it be paleoconservatives or neoconservatives and especially within the Republican Party. Furthermore, it saddens me that Fox and Friends, a fairly decent show, is being associated with that sort of vitriol towards the President of the United States.

The Republican Party and Conservatives are the party and people of Lincoln; it is time we started acting like it again.

Why I don’t watch Kennedy on Fox Business

Is because of stupid statements like this one here:

Dumb redhead of the day!

Fox host Lisa “Kennedy” Montgomery suggested getting rid of the nation’s public schools during a discussion on Thursday’s “Outnumbered.”

Kennedy’s comments came during a segment about an Oklahoma bill, approved by a House committee, that seeks to eliminate AP US History. The bill asserts that the current iteration of the course doesn’t show “American exceptionalism,” instead highlighting “what is bad about America.”

“There really shouldn’t be public schools, should there?” Kennedy said. “I mean we should really go to a system where parents of every stripe have a choice, have a say in the kind of education their kids get because, when we have centralized, bureaucratic education doctrines and dogmas like this, that’s exactly what happens.”

via Fox Host: ‘There Really Shouldn’t Be Public Schools’ Anymore.

The reason why I don’t watch this woman, is because of stuff like this here. Plus, too, because of her bigoted comments about Christianity on her former show called the so-called “Independents” which, by the way, was cancelled; because it sucked so badly. To save face and because she still had a contract, they gave Kennedy her own show and when her contract is up, they will not renew it — or so I am told.

Tragic: Former Texas Fox Station employee shots himself outside News Corps Offices

This is tragic:

A former employee of a Fox station in Texas shot and killed himself outside the front doors of the News Corporation building shortly before 9 a.m. Monday, a law-enforcement official said.

The building houses 21st Century Fox and News Corporation, which owns The Wall Street Journal.

The man, Phillip Perea, 41 years old, of Irving, Texas, shot himself once in the chest outside of 1211 Avenue of the Americas, the official said. Mr. Perea had previously worked for a Fox station in Austin, Texas, police said.

Mr. Perea had also been handing out fliers, which criticized his employer for having “ended my career,” moments before he shot himself, the official said.

Now, of course, the classless left and some classless ones on the right, are having a field day with this one. You will see the links to their postings below. All I will say about this is, my condolences and prayers to the family of this man.

Obviously, something happened to trigger this and I pray for the man’s family.

What some people do for money

This one just makes me shake my head….

The Story:

Shepard Smith, the endlessly endearing (and easily angered) Fox News anchor, has likened the right-wing channel to a “family,” with president Roger Ailes as its domineering father. Which makes it only slightly awkward that in early 2012, the 49-year-old anchor started courting an attractive young production assistant who worked under him on Fox Report With Shepard Smith. Now they are a couple.

Gawker has learned that Smith is dating a 26-year-old Penn State grad and Fox Business producer named Giovanni “Gio” Graziano. According to multiple sources with knowledge of their relationship, the couple met sometime after Graziano started working at Fox Report in October 2011 as a production assistant. He’s the man with whom Smith frequents Bathtub Gin.

“Yes, that’s Shepard’s boyfriend,” Katya Minskova, the Bathtub Gin waitress Smith berated in March, confirmed to Gawker when shown a photo of Graziano. Another source who had seen them together at the Chelsea speakeasy confirmed Graziano’s identity as well. Both sources say they saw Graziano and Smith together at the bar on multiple occasions, and that they appeared to be romantically involved.

While Smith and Graziano’s boss Roger Ailes, a notorious homophobe, was apparently kept in the dark about the relationship—“higher ups had no idea,” a source close to Graziano said—the pair doesn’t appear to have gone to great lengths to keep the workplace romance from their co-workers.

I know, I said I was going to clean my act up here a bit; but this one here, is just too darned easy:

Snort Worthy: MSNBC President Wants ‘Investigation’ Into Fox News’ ‘Impossible’ Ratings

Um, Phil? It’s because you and your network suck. Progressivism is just not popular anymore. You know that President that you and your network went into the tank for? He failed, badly. So, I would suppose that the viewers or as Bill O’Reilly calls them — the folks — stopped trusting your silly network.

So, man up and admit your defeat.

The Story:

Phil Griffin, president of MSNBC, says there’s something fishy about Tuesday’s ratings for the Fox News Channel, which were up significantly from a day earlier when Fox News debuted its new schedule. And he wants an investigation.

MSNBC’s ‘Up Late With Alec Baldwin’ Debuts With Policy Discussions in a Diner

“Monday we had a really good day in the key demographic. On the night that Fox News debuted their three shows, we either tied or beat them in those hours,” Griffin said at a briefing, according to TVNewser.

“Tuesday — you guys should be doing some investigations; I have never seen it in all my years of cable — same overnight, same everything. And they doubled their ratings in a day? It is impossible.” Griffin continued, “I have never seen it. They did election-night numbers in the demo Tuesday.”

Sean Hannity loses even Pat Buchanan

Man, when you lose Pat Buchanan, you know you are in trouble.

Video: (H/T Crooks and Liars)

I never was much of a Sean Hannity fan; he’s like the annoying rich kid at a party. He just annoys me. Compared to Hannity, Bill O’Reilly is so much saner and that is not saying much, let me tell you.

This here could very well be why Hannity’s show is going away and Megan Kelly is moving to that time slot.

Either way, it is pretty bad, when a staunch Conservative like Buchanan tells someone like Hannity that he is basically full of crap.

I just watched the clip and it is obvious to me that Sean Hannity is simply interested in slamming President Obama, no matter what he does. That is not legitimate political commentary, that is nothing more than ad-hominem attacks. For that alone, Sean Hannity should lose his show.

Megyn Kelly not a partisan?!?! Please.

I was reading over at hotair.com, and I saw this:

Hannity’s been at 9 p.m. for, what, 17 years? Now that I read it again, Drudge’s post doesn’t say explicitly that he’s leaving the time slot — but it sure does imply it, and it’d be odd, frankly, to pair a more-or-less straight news reporter like Kelly with a strongly partisan commentator like him. Presumably he’s moving to 10 p.m. to do battle with Scary Larry O’Donnell. Where does that leave Greta? Well, last month, after people started whispering that she’d been chatting with CNN, she wrote a blog post stressing that she’s not going anywhere and that Fox had contractually guaranteed her a show in primetime. Primetime includes 7 p.m. (sort of, I think), and her husband told the NYT back in May that she’d be open to a show at an earlier hour. So that’s where Greta likely ends up, which means one less hour of Shep Smith per day unless there are still further changes to come that we don’t know about. Hard to believe they’d move “The Five” given how well it’s doing ratings-wise, and “Special Report” is their most respected pure news program. Maybe, with Kelly’s daytime show being eliminated, they’ll give Shep a block from 2-4 p.m. and figure out something new to do with the 1-2 p.m. hour? Gretchen Carlson’s leaving “Fox & Friends” to host her own show in the afternoon. I guess that’s where she’ll go

via Drudge: Megyn Kelly to get 9 p.m. time slot on Fox News « Hot Air.

More or less a news commentator? Has Allahpundit ever seen Megan Kelly prattle on about Abortion?

Check this video clip:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AVcW9HVyDzo

If that isn’t a partisan attack job, I do not know what the hell is.  Megyn Kelly is about as partisan and biased as the rest of the Republican Statist mouthpieces over at Fox News Channel. AllahPundit needs to write the truth and not this alternate world horse hockey that the rest of his fellow bloggers are known for over there.

I’m just saying.

News Corp’s Rupert Murdoch and Wendi Deng call it quits

A bit of startling news:

EXCLUSIVE: New Corp chairman/CEO Rupert Murdoch has filed for divorce from wife Wendi Deng Murdoch, Deadline has learned. The filing was just made this morning in New York State Supreme Court. The couple met in 1997, at a company party in Hong Kong. They married in 1999, less than a month after his divorce from ex-wife Anna Maria Torv Murdoch Mann was finalized. She is perhaps most fondly remembered for standing up for her husband and clocking Jonathan May-Bowles, after he threw a pie at her husband during a highly publicized testimony before a British parliamentary committee in connection with the News International phone hacking scandal. Developing…

First comment over at Deadline.com:

Now this is a shocker. I guess he caught her watching Morning Joe

HA! So funny. 😀

Still it is sad that Murdoch and Wendi couldn’t make it work. 🙁

I will say this, just because I am cynical old coot; that it is quite ironic that the very network that unabashedly promotes Conservative Christian traditional values has an owner and CEO, who cannot even keep his own personal marriage together.  I have always said, those who preach, should lead by example; and it is quite ironic that Murdoch has failed there, twice over. Maybe he should try actually telling the truth; instead of living the lie that he has been for a while now.

Just my opinion.
