How to and how not to address the subject of reparations for slavery in America

First the proper, dignified, and intelligent way to argue against reparations for Slavery.

And there’s the is the stupid way, as presented by one of the stupidest people in Conservatism today: (Via the Daily Beast)

If this is the best that the Republican Party and/or The Conservative movement can come up with, we’re screwed. She’s really giving Ann Coulter a run for her money.

Mixed feelings on story about Don Lemon

I have mixed feelings on the report from the Hollywood Reporter:

At an industry conference on Thursday, CNN anchor Don Lemon revealed the depth of the harassment he has endured since becoming a high-profile target of President Donald Trump and his supporters.”I was doing a shoot in the park the other day and someone said, ‘We built this country. I can’t wait for CNN to fire your black ass, you faggot,'” Lemon told the crowd. The anchor said the president’s attacks “take a toll on me, on my privacy and safety and security, and the safety and security of my family.”Lemon said he gets 300 calls a day from a Trump supporter who doesn’t like him. He also said he receives stacks of junk mail from people who have figured out his address.”People call the authorities and accuse me of doing certain things,” Lemon said. While the anchor professed to love his job, he said, “I wonder how long I will continue to do this particular job in the way I do it,” citing the toxicity of the political-media climate.Added Lemon, “It ain’t easy, but I don’t plan to give up.”

On one hand, I think it’s unfair for a guy to have to go through that. On the other hand, this man has said some pretty bad things about the President. One thing that Don Lemon is going to learn, if you’re the public eye and you have an opinion; someone is not going to like it.

If this is a problem for Lemon, perhaps he should find another line of work.

Video: Tucker Carlson says, “War with Iran will end Trump’s Presidency”

Looks like me and Tucker Carlson think much alike.

Tucker is right, if we move against Iran, it’s over for Trump and possibly even America.

Good: CNN Fires Marc Lamont Hill

Good, about damned time that progressive jerk got what was coming to him.

The Story:

CNN severed ties with contributor Marc Lamont Hill on Thursday, following comments the university professor made about Israel and Palestine in a speech at the United Nations.

“Marc Lamont Hill is no longer under contract with CNN,” a CNN spokesperson told Mediaite.

Hill urged countries to boycott Israel in a speech on Wednesday, calling for a “free Palestine from the river to the sea.” His comments sparked an immediate backlash, with many noting “from the river to the sea” is a phrase used by Hamas and other anti-Israel terror groups. The phrase implies the replacement of Israel by a Palestine stretching from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea — though Hill disputes this characterization of his comments.

“We have an opportunity to not just offer solidarity in words but to commit to political action, grass-roots action, local action and international action that will give us what justice requires and that is a free Palestine from the river to the sea,” Hill said in his speech.

His comments were condemned as anti-Semitic by the National Council of Young Israel and Anti-Defamation League.

Read the Rest: CNN Fires Marc Lamont Hill

As anyone, who reads this blog, knows; that I am not fan-boy of the modern state of Israel. However, this guy takes things to a whole new level. He wants Israel wiped off the map and that don’t fly in this day and age of the professionally offended.

Good Riddance to bad rubbish.

Farewell to Alan Colmes, one of the last decent liberal Democrats

Sad to see this news…

The Video:

The Story via Fox News, Alan’s home for many years:

Fox News Channel’s Alan Colmes has passed away at age 66 after a brief illness.

Colmes leaves behind his wife, Jocelyn Crowley, who issued the following statement:

Alan Colmes passed away this morning after a brief illness. He was 66-years-old. He leaves his adoring and devoted wife, Jocelyn Elise Crowley. He was a great guy, brilliant, hysterical, and moral. He was fiercely loyal, and the only thing he loved more than his work was his life with Jocelyn. He will be missed. The family has asked for privacy during this very difficult time.

Bill Hemmer announced the sad news this morning on “America’s Newsroom,” which then aired a tribute package from Fox News Channel host Sean Hannity, his former co-host on “Hannity & Colmes.”

In a statement this morning, Hannity called Alan Colmes “one of life’s most decent, kind and wonderful people you’d ever want to meet.”

Rest in Peace.

The New York Times reeks of liberal butthurt

I stand in amazement that there are actually people out there that believe that the New York Times is an unbiased newspaper. Want a perfect example of this? Please check out this article here, the butthurt is almost palatable.

I would quote the article. but seeing that the New York Times has resorted to Gestapo tactics which prevent bloggers from quoting their content. I have to just give you the link and you’ll have to trust me on it. I’m writing this on a tablet that I recently purchased and because of that I cannot copy the text over and quote it. So, you’ll have to go over and look at it. But man the butthurt is wreaking in this article let me tell you.

The real funny part is a good part of this article is inaccurate. They act as if no one was at Donald Trump’s inauguration at all. But anyone that actually watched it on TV, seen that there was a huge turnout of people there. It just seems like the New York Times and the rest of the leftist media s since Hillary Clinton has lost the election; has went into an alternative reality tailspin and it seems now that the Democrats are just not feeling the love of the nation, of the political process or of Donald Trump.

It’s a sad thing to see; it’s worse than it was when George W Bush was in office. It’s much worse they were in emboldened by the election of Barack Obama and you think they were deranged back in the bush days? You wait till Donald Trump starts his presidency…things are going to get downright crazy in politics.

Video: About my previous posting on Michael Hirsh

As you all know, I did a posting on the resignation of Michael Hirsh from politico.

Well, here is further commentary on that posting:

https://youtu.be/bJOu40tJqFA?rel=0

Update: After thinking about it some more. I’ve deleted ethnic jab and retitled the posting to reflect that he is unhinged. I am, after all, on AdSense and I don’t wanna screw that up again. 🙄

It’s official: Michael Hirsh is unhinged

Now this is very interesting:

National editor at Politico Michael Hirsh resigned after publishing the home addresses of alt-right figurehead Richard Spencer Tuesday morning and advocating for serious violence.Politico confirmed his resignation following requests for comment from The Daily Caller News Foundation.“Stop whining about Richard B. Spencer, Nazi, and exercise your rights as decent Americans,” Hirsh wrote in a public Facebook post. “Here are his two addresses.”The Daily Caller News Foundation redacted the home addresses. – Source: Politico Editor Calls For Violence Against Richard Spencer | The Daily Caller

The Facebook posts in question:

and just in case you had any doubt:

Ah yes, let’s stop a fascist group with more fascist actions. 🙄

Gawker.com finally bites the dust

It appears that Gawker.com has finally bitten the dust. Here is the story from Gawker.com themselves:

After nearly fourteen years of operation, Gawker.com will be shutting down next week. The decision to close Gawker comes days after Univision successfully bid $135 million for Gawker Media’s six other websites, and four months after the Silicon Valley billionaire Peter Thiel revealed his clandestine legal campaign against the company.

Nick Denton, the company’s outgoing CEO, informed current staffers of the site’s fate on Thursday afternoon, just hours before a bankruptcy court in Manhattan will decide whether to approve Univision’s bid for Gawker Media’s other assets. Staffers will soon be assigned to other editorial roles, either at one of the other six sites or elsewhere within Univision. Near-term plans for Gawker.com’s coverage, as well as the site’s archives, have not yet been finalized.

I have a lot I’d like to say about this and I decided to dictate it using speech to text.

This lawsuit and closure of gawker.com ought to be a textbook example of what happens when a news site starts trafficking in gossip and slander and someone decides to fight back.

I have experience with being slandered here on the internet myself. As you all know I am not a neoconservative. But, rather a Paleoconservative or someone who simply believes that war should only be used as a last resort. I am also someone who is mildly concerned with interference with our government, our financial institutions and our media Outlets by those who I refer to as Israeli-firsters. Fox News channel is a perfect example of such.

As a result of this, I have been slandered as an anti-semite and because of my position on blacklivesmatter and because of my issue with media bias, when it when it comes to murders that are committed by African-Americans against whites; as opposed to murders that are committed by whites against blacks and the media bias that surrounds that, I have been labeled a racist bigot.

So, I know a little something about media slander and slander that happens on the internet.

In this case here, someone decided to fight back and yes it took lots and lots of money. But, the person who decided to fight back achieved his goals and that was the shuttering of a so-called news site that trafficked in slander.

I commend Peter Thiel for his efforts to shutter this site. As I once was linked to by them and labelled racist bigot many years ago on my old blog.

Furthermore, I think the bloggers should stand up and take notice of the fact that this man who was slandered by this site decided to stand up and put some of his money on the line to defend himself from these slanderous accusations against him and against his unwanted outing as homosexual.

Because if this happens with gawker.com, who’s to say that someone who gets slandered by a Blog whether in a posting or in the comments section wouldn’t decide to stand up and sue the owner of the blog?

The way I see it, I have grounds for a lawsuit against David Horowitz for his slanderous article on me; by two women who are out to get me, because I dared to stand up against the Israeli-firsters who were causing trouble in New York City.

This is something I would seriously like to do, if I decided to do this I would spare no one. Everyone that wrote anything about me negative on their blogs would be targeted for that lawsuit.

Now am I actually going to go out and do this? The answer to that is basically no; because for one thing to bring that sort of lawsuit in an American Court, you must have lots and lots of money something that I simply do not have and furthermore the justice system in this country runs incredibly slow and the slower it runs, the more money you put out. So, in this case I think will simply allow people to come and view my blog look at my archives and decide for themselves whether I am an anti-Semite or a racist bigot and see that what was written about me was nothing more than sensationalized bull-crap

Essentially, what I am saying is the people who brought these slanderous charges against me in the past are simply not worth spending that sort of money time and effort to bring a lawsuit against them.

Most of the ones who made those accusations against me are really not even in the blogging scene any longer, a lot of them mysteriously disappeared a few years back and I haven’t heard from them or seen them in a long time, not to mention the fact the two women that brought those slanderous accusations against me, are no longer employed by David Horowitz.

I guess slandering some of his friends have consequences.
