Special Comment: Farewell Twitter

Last night after one fight too many, after having my account suspended and then restored for the fatal offense of speaking my mind; I have done something that I really hated to have to do.

I left Twitter for good.

I have deactivated my twitter account, and I have left the platform for personal use for good.  I did create a new account for the sole purpose of dissemination of the contents of this blog.  However, I will not be actively using the platform any longer.  I will not be following anyone outside of news agencies and well-known public figures related to the subject of politics.  However, I do not plan to be a regular user of the service any longer.

The reason for this decision is this; twitter has become an open running sewer of sorts.  Twitter also has become a place where freedom of speech is chilled, and is even frowned upon.  The reason that I came to this horrifying conclusion is this: Last night, I happen to come upon a debate by the likes of a so-called libertarian, who is in all honesty, a Liberal turned Neoconservative — but, then again, I repeat myself — and a sworn liberal of the utter contemptible sort.

Now, the liberal of the contemptible sort, none other than a one Oliver Willis, who happens to be of African origins and is of the black race, is an utter piece of human excrement.  I could sit here and tell you of the utter lies, half-truths, and awful things that this awful man wrote about John McCain and Sarah Palin during the 2008 election, but this piece would go on for over one hundred pages.  Now, I am not talking about whether John McCain or even Sarah Palin were even qualified for the job of President or not.  This went well beyond that and was in league of that deranged homosexual Andrew Sullivan.

What happened was this:  Oliver Willis and a one, “Jazz Shaw” (he will not use his real name, as he is too much of a coward, unlike Me.) were debating whether Mitt Romney should release his tax returns or not.  Mr. Shaw (not his real name) was saying that The Democratic National Committee’s chairperson should also release her tax returns.  Somewhere in the middle of this argument on twitter, I stuck my nose in and made a remark about this Oliver Willis that would be considered politically incorrect.  I did this, because again, I find this man to be utterly contemptible.  The comment involved President Barack Obama, the male sex organ and Oliver Willis’s mouth.  Yes, I went there and I have no problems admitting it.

The next thing I know, I am being referring to by “Jazz Shaw” as a “racist dickbag” (his words, not mine.) and I was called an “a-hole” by this one Oliver Willis.  I responded to Oliver Willis in kind, a called him a word, that is considered to be politically incorrect by liberal and most neoconservative standards.  The next thing I know, instead of these so-called Conservatives rallying to my side and defending me; they start actually defending this bastard Oliver Willis and working on getting my twitter account suspended.  They succeeded in the short term, but I was able to reactivate the account rather quickly.

This is when it hit me; twitter is just not a good place for someone like me, not anymore.  When twitter first started out, back in 2007, it was a great place to hang out and enjoy one’s self.  Since that time, Twitter has been become overrun with neoconservatives, awful liberals, speech Nazi’s and a cesspool of utter trolls, ready to pounce on the first unsuspecting person.  Simply put — twitter is not a place I would honestly recommend to anyone anymore.

Therefore, I deactivated my account, and uninstalled all of the twitter apps on my iPod touch and will not be using that idiotic platform any longer, except as noted above. I do wish I could say that I honestly could recommend twitter to anyone, but after last night; I would never ever recommend anyone to that awful place — nor will I ever.

To end this piece, I have a message for Twitter Inc.:

First, as a good friend of mine, James O’Guinn would say, “It has been real, it has been fun — but it has not been really fun.” Secondly, please, change your banning feature.  Suspending an account in this manner is amount to speech Nazism.  It is prone to abuse and has been abused by many in the past.  Because of this, I am stopping using your service for personal use.

I know my comments were not well received by many, but twitter users should have the right to block what they do not wish to view.  However, twitter users should not be permitted to disable my right to freedom of speech.  This is a libertarian concept, but as I know; the founders and employees of twitter are not libertarians, they are socialists and Marxists, who believe that freedom of speech is subjective and should be controlled.  Not that I feel entitled to express my views on a private service, but this sort of squashing of free speech is quite unnerving.

Because of this — I have disabled my account and other for the reasons of blog promotion — I have left twitter.

Guest Voice: Phyllis Schlafly on The Bloody “Fast and Furious”

Audio:

[podcast]http://www.eagleforum.org/radio/3min/audio/2012/aug12/08-10-12.mp3[/podcast]

Synopsis:

Of all the scandals of the Obama Administration, the one called “Fast and Furious” could be the worst, but it has been almost completely ignored by the Mainstream Media. You would think that any scandal that involved a murder would be a great subject for TV coverage, but somehow the media friendly to President Obama are reluctant to report it and provide us with the gory details. “Fast and Furious” is the name of a plan developed by our government to order U.S. gun shops to sell guns to “straw” buyers who were funneling guns to Mexican drug gangs. It’s unclear what the purpose of this stupid idea was; we’re led to believe our government was somehow going to track the guns in a way that would help us find out who and where the drug lords are. But the U.S. government didn’t track the guns; they just let U.S. guns be sold to the vicious Mexican drug gangs. So the Mexicans used one of those guns to murder U.S. Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry, and also to murder about 200 Mexican citizens.

Congressman Darrell Issa has been conducting an investigation to find out the facts and who was responsible for this stupid and fatal project. We would like to know if this was just a hare-brained scheme, or if it was really planned to produce arguments for gun control for American citizens. But the Obama Administration has been very uncooperative and secretive about the investigation, and President Obama invoked executive privilege to avoid giving the congressional committee the documents and emails that would reveal who was responsible for this travesty. So far, all Obama Administration officials are pretending they didn’t know anything about it and are not responsible. If you want to know more about this shocking scandal and its coverup, I suggest that you get a book called “Fast and Furious” by Katie Pavlich, a reporter for Townhall Magazine.

Video: Does Mitt Romney’s Faith Matter?

(via CBN)

For the record, this is what Mitt Romney believes:

[podcast format=”video”]http://saintsalive.com//images/stories/videos/featured.flv[/podcast]

This is to say nothing of what Paul Ryan believes.

Race-baiting towards Paul Ryan already starting

Here I go quoting myself, again:

All in all, I believe it was a much smarter move, than the one John McCain made in 2008. I just hope that Romney can battle against the identity politics aspect of this campaign, which will undoubtedly start at some point — better than John McCain and Hillary Clinton did in 2008. If they cannot, we will be in for 8 more years of the Marxist idiocy of Obama Administration. Hopefully, Romney has his a-game on, when comes to this; because we just cannot afford another term of Obama — not without some serious problems in our future.

Without delay the race card game starts.

Oh yeah, the Democrats are now scared to death and they are firing up the smear machine. This is going to get real interesting, really quick

UPDATED: My feelings about Mitt Romney’s VP pick Paul Ryan

Is pretty much summed up here:

If there isn’t much to Ryan’s foreign policy, what we do know of his views isn’t encouraging. His Alexander Hamilton Society speech was standard neoconservatism complete with heavy reliance on Krauthammer’s “decline is a choice” argument, and he remains opposed to any reductions in military spending. He is a product of the Bush era, and in foreign policy views he seems to have learned nothing from Bush era mistakes.

via The Triumph of Ryanmania | The American Conservative.

That pretty much sums it up for me. Many on the left, including the President, are having a bit of a freak out over the choice. Not to worry Democrats, Mitt Romney will not carry out any parts of Ryan’s budget plan that would hurt his chances of getting reelected. Mitt Romney is not a fool, he is a moderate; by Conservative standards and will not do anything to hurt his political career.

Seeing that Ryan is Roman Catholic, that will cause the evangelical base to support Romney. Although there will be holdouts, like me. 😀 Some see this as a brilliant move and some see it as an idiotic move. I see this as strictly a political move and nothing else.

The real question is, does Romney stand a chance to win? Personally, I think he does; because Romney has money, lots of it and Romney also has a good deal of wealthy people who are supporting him too. Which means that Romney is outspending Obama by a good margin. Which means that Romney can outbox Obama with the ads. All Romney has to do is highlight Obama’s failed record on jobs and the economy. Romney needs to greatly highlight that fact that we are 15 trillion in debt and that Obama continues to spend money that we simply do not have, and highlight that fact that Obama has been utterly contemptible in his attitude towards small to medium businesses, not to mention big businesses!

UPDATE: It begins, Ryan is already being called a racist.

President Obama says, “I am not the President of Black America”

This is rather interesting to say the least….

Q: How do you respond to criticism that your administration hasn’t done enough to support black businesses?

A: My general view has been consistent throughout, which is that I want all businesses to succeed. I want all Americans to have opportunity. I’m not the president of black America. I’m the president of the United States of America, but the programs that we have put in place have been directed at those folks who are least able to get financing through conventional means, who have been in the past locked out of opportunities that were available to everybody. So, I’ll put my track record up against anybody in terms of us putting in place broad-based programs that ultimately had a huge benefit for African American businesses.

Q: The resurrected financial services industry hasn’t stepped up in terms of providing adequate capital to small- and minority-owned businesses.

A: There is no doubt that American taxpayers stepped in and pulled the banking industry out of the fire. It was controversial. It was messy. Ultimately it was the right thing to do for the economy. But it is true that once banks got back on their feet they haven’t been as aggressive in lending to small and medium-sized businesses as we would like. And I’ve had conversations with the major banks about this issue. What they will say is that some of the additional regulations have impeded some of their capacity to lend. We don’t see major evidence of that.

via Pres. Obama Talks Black Businesses, Black Unemployment [Exclusive].

My feelings on this are mixed.  As a white American, I like the idea that President Obama realizes that he is the President of the United States of America and that he does not intend to kowtow down to any particular ethnic minority.  However, if I were a black person, my feelings would be greatly different.  Many blacks in this Country voted for Obama for the sole reason that he was black.  These people are most likely feeling as if they have been taken advantage of by this President.  I would imagine that the phrase “house negro” comes to their minds as well.

It just seems to me that Obama is doing everything he can, and making every gaffe that he can to prevent being reelected to the office.  Because as it is now, the far left has abandoned him, the independents have abandoned him and even some of the mainstream liberal Democrats have left him too.  My question is; what is left?  Is Obama trying to scare off the black business owners too or the black vote in general?  It sure seems that way to me.

November is going to be one interesting election.  Because if Obama does not want the office of the President of the United States of America, there is a Republican who will be more than happy to take it from him.  The sad and sick part is that there are Republicans are actually foolish enough to believe that Mitt Romney is actually a true, rib-rocked, Conservative — something that they will find out, come the winning of the election.

Those are my thoughts and I would like to see yours in the comments section below.

Videos: National Review Online’s Uncommon Knowledge with George W. Bush

Before I post these videos; I will be totally honest with my readers. As you all know, from reading my bio on here, that I have never been a huge fan of George W. Bush. My issue is not with George W. Bush himself; but rather with his stance on foreign policy, which is of the Wilsonian sort.

However, since President Bush has left office, and the new poor excuse for a President has taken the office; I have come to respect Bush. If not for anything else; because the man had conviction and was willing to stand up against the liberal left. The awesome thing about Bush was that, he would not allow the liberal left to dictate to him that the Iraq war was lost. In other words, President Bush was not going to give the Democrats the satisfaction of knowing that they had won the battle of ideas.  Furthermore, President Bush held that stance till the last day of his Presidency. For this, and this alone; President Bush has my respect.

However, Because I am a man of truth; because this blog, nor myself adhere to any party line.  Because this blog is not a partisan blog per se and does believe in repeating talking points of the Republican Party; I will say this: It is a fact that George W. Bush took the United States of America into an invasion of the sovereign nation of Iraq, based upon facts that are now known to be totally and demonstratively false. Saddam Hussein did not have any assembled weapons of mass destruction at all. Saddam Hussein had weapon parts and could have restarted his weapons program.  I happen to know this, because I did watch the awesome documentary about Saddam’s interrogation by the FBI.  Furthermore, anyone who believes that Iraq is any better off, since the fall of Saddam; ought to speak to civil Libertarians on that issue. Because that is another idiot lie told by the bleating Neoconservatives who drool at George W. Bush’s every last move.

Anyhow, having said all the above; I invite you to watch these videos: (H/T NRO)

Wisconsin Sikh Temple shooter ID’ed.

Information about yesterday’s shooting at a Sikh temple in Wisconsin has come out.

Via Fox News:

The trigger man, Wade Michael Page, a known White Nationalist.

URGENT: A 40-year-old Army veteran and suspected white supremacist who gunned down six inside a Milwaukee-area Sikh temple shot the responding officer eight to nine times before he was killed by police, authorities said Monday.

Officials said the gunman, whom they identified as Wade Michael Page, walked into the Sikh Temple of Wisconsin on Sunday and opened fire with a 9mm handgun as several dozen people prepared for morning services. The victims ranged in age from 39 to 84, authorities said. Three others were wounded, including 51-year-old veteran police officer Brian Murphy, who remains in critical condition.

Authorities said during a Monday press conference that there is no reason to believe anyone other than Page was involved in the shooting in the Milwaukee suburb of Oak Creek. But the FBI showed a photo of a “person of interest” whom they want to question in the investigation. The unidentified man showed up at the scene after the shooting and looked “suspicious,” Oak Creek Police Chief John Edwards said. The man left before police could interview him.

FBI Special Agent in Charge, Teresa Carlson, said a motive is still under investigation, and noted that authorities are looking at Page’s “ties to white supremacist groups.”

Another “person of interest” is also being sought; Jsonline reports:

At a news conference at 10 a.m., authorities said there were attempting to identify another person, a white male, who they described as “a person of interest.”

A man matching the photo officials showed was seen by Journal Sentinel reporters at the scene of the temple Sunday, possibly video taping what was going on. Anyone with information on the man is asked to call 1-800-CALL-FBI.

Here’s the person of interest’s photo:

This is the guy that the FBI wants to talk to. If you know this guy, get in touch with the FBI at the number listed above. Do NOT try and approach this man at all. He could be armed and very dangerous! Hopefully he will do the right thing and turn himself in to the FBI.

What really gets me, is that both sides; left and right are really trying to politicize this story and it is sucks frankly. You can read some of that here. I did a little bit of that myself; I simply said I feared our second amendment rights might be taken away. But, I think that might not be the case; although, I believe the left will try very hard to make that happen.

For the record; even the White Nationalists over at Stormfront.org are saying that this guy is someone outside of their normal circles. Needless to say, they are not happy with being associated with a murderer like that this guy. Also, for the record, I do not, nor have I ever, agreed with the mentality of these people. I wrote about this once, to defend myself from accusations of being a Neo-Nazi once. Neo-Nazi’s are most usually leftists. I am not, nor have I ever been, an ardent leftist. I was a working class Democratic Party voter. I was also pretty much not involved with politics or even worrying or thinking about it until 2006.  I am now an Constitutional Conservative. There is a huge difference between those two camps —– trust me.

UPDATED: Another mass shooting, this time in Wisconsin

First Colorado, now this.

A mass shooting at a Sikh Temple in Wisconsin. Go Here, Here, Here, Here and Here to read all about it. (Via Memeornadum)

Via NBCNews.com, a detail that I am hoping like hell is wrong:

A temple committee member, Ven Boba Ri, told the Journal-Sentinel that people inside the temple described the shooter as a white male in his 30s.

“We have no idea,” he said of the motive. “It’s pretty much a hate crime. It’s not an insider.”

Ri told the Journal-Sentinel the gunman walked up to a priest who was standing outside the temple and shot him. Then he went inside and started shooting.

If this is even remotely true; we are so.very.much.screwed, when it comes to gun rights. It is over and we will have to wait to see if Mitt Romney wins or not and if the Republican take both houses. Because you know good and well; that the Democrats will enact strict Gun laws. It is that whole, “never let a crisis go to waste” thing.

Right now, prayers. Prayers for the victims, Prayers for the families —- and Prayer for our Nation. We’re about to lose it, if we are not real careful here. 🙁
