This is not going to end well for the Republican Party

Good morning from Detroit.

I am awake very early this morning and I happen to be looking over the headlines here on Memeorandum.

I happen to be reading and looking at these headlines here and I cannot help but think that if, by chance that Donald Trump loses this election; that the Republican Party is going to be totally in a state of shambles for a very, very long time. I mean, even the Wealthy are now looking elsewhere and in a Republican election, that is bad…very bad. I mean, I hate to sound like a “Debbie Downer”, but this really does not look good for the Republicans at all. Because folks, let us just face the facts — There are more wealthy Republicans, than there are grassroots conservatives. The majority of the Conservative Christian Right, is presumably staying home, at least the ones I know.

The reason I say it is not looking good for the Republicans, is that they have totally invested themselves into basically a clown, a showman, an egotistical blowhard — who sues anyone that dare criticizes him. You cannot say, that the Republicans did not try, they did and it was a very valiant effort. But, you would think that they would have selected someone a bit more serious, than who they picked. Ted Cruz was dangerous. But, there were others, Rand Paul, Christie, a few others. Instead we go who we got and now we’re looking at 8 years of a criminal pantsuit.

Stolen Elections

I have to say that all of this talk about stolen elections, is quite silly. It also reminds me of something that happened in 2000. When Bush ran for election and actually beat Al Gore. I seem to remember that the left, went into utter meltdown and claimed that the election was stolen and that somehow or another Bush and Co. had arranged for the election to be decided in his favor.

This is why, when I hear about Trump supporters saying that the election will most likely be stolen from Trump; I find it to be most annoying. Because it frankly reminds me of the liberal left in 2000.

Which brings me to my point; why are the so-called “Trump Conservatives” using the same playbook as the anti-Bush crowd of 2000?

The truth is that, if Trump loses this election; it will be because of his own actions and because the Republican Party and the people behind the Trump campaign did not properly vet Donald Trump and take steps to lower the impact of things in his past. It was not the bankers fault, it was not the media’s fault and it damned sure is not Hillary Clinton’s fault. It is the fault of Donald Trump and the Republican Party of not properly vetting a candidate.

So, to the Trump campaign and supporters: Stop blaming the Jews, the media and the Republican Party. It is not their fault. It the fault of those who are supposed to be doing their jobs and making sure that no surprises came out, during the last months of the campaign. The only person to blame, is yourselves. This is on you.

On last night’s debate

A lot of you are probably wondering why I haven’t written about the debate at all.

The truth is folks, I am still very much burned out on politics and writing in general. In fact, I am dictating this blog posting using voice to text and WordPress for Android and the voice to text feature on my phone. (except for a link insertion)

Now, you can go here and read all about the debate; who won, who lost and all that sort of stuff. Me personally? I could quite frankly care less about it.

Ever since the big let-down in 2012, I’ve become pretty much skeptical of any conservative or republican candidate being elected in an election. The reason why I say this it’s because it seems that Republicans and some conservatives have become masters of putting their foot in their own mouth.

Also too, let’s just be real folks Donald Trump has a lot of freakin baggage to plow through and to carry to get to be the president of the United States.

It is my understanding from what I have read some of the prominent supporters of Donald Trump that Donald Trump did not take the opportunity to nail Hillary like he should have. This could cost him in the election; because some people may see him as weak in the face of adversity.

On the other hand, if Donald Trump was too Fierce with her; he would have been called a bully and sexist and misogynistic. So, it’s a case of damned if you do and damned if you don’t in this situation.

I also have this bad case of cynicism when it comes to Donald Trump and his ability to fight back against the global elitists or the globalists, as they are called and to bring back a sort of nationalism in this country.

Hillary represents that establishment and that group of people. I just have this gnawing feeling that those people are not going to go away quietly into the woods and that they are going to fight him with everything that they have; money, media…. everything.

I may sound like the world’s greatest pessimist. But, I happen to be a realist and I have been around for 44 years; and I know the political game pretty well and I know that these people don’t fight fair at all and what they cannot prove, they will float as a lie and get people to believe it and Donald Trump could very well lose.

I really hope that I am wrong, but something tells me, that I am very right.

Videos: Could this be what is coming at the DNC Convention and at the GOP convention?

Check out these videos, which come via The American Mirror and The Daily Caller:

This is at the Democratic Party Convention in Nevada:

This ought to be a warning to the elites and also to the grassroots in both parties. Which is why I will not be going to any conventions. 😯

A very good assessment of Detroit

I might not agree with this guy’s politics; but he is pretty much dead on with his assessment of Detroit and how it is exploited during elections.

You have to feel for the people of Detroit. The rest of the country mostly only pays attention to the city for the wrong reasons – say, when the Lions are setting records for competitive futility or some photographer starts jonesing for his own “ruins porn” project. Oh, and during election cycles, when Michigan becomes one of the battleground states that could decide the next leader of the free world. All of a sudden candidates from both parties descend on Detroit to shake their heads over its decline and promise to do something about it just as soon as its people vote for them. – Source: How Bernie Sanders & Ted Cruz are both misrepresenting Detroit – Salon.com

Go read that whole thing, it is pretty good. Again, I do not agree Salon.com’s politics, but this article is right on.

Michael Bloomberg on Presidential run, “Nope, not me!”

A pretty smart move, as it is a little late in the game now.

Via Bloomberg report Michael Bloomberg writes:

My parents taught me about the importance of giving back, and public service has been an important part of my life. After 12 years as mayor of New York City, I know the personal sacrifices that campaigns and elected office require, and I would gladly make them again in order to help the country I love.

I’ve always been drawn to impossible challenges, and none today is greater or more important than ending the partisan war in Washington and making government work for the American people — not lobbyists and campaign donors. Bringing about this change will require electing leaders who are more focused on getting results than winning re-election, who have experience building small businesses and creating jobs, who know how to balance budgets and manage large organizations, who aren’t beholden to special interests — and who are honest with the public at every turn. I’m flattered that some think I could provide this kind of leadership.

But when I look at the data, it’s clear to me that if I entered the race, I could not win. I believe I could win a number of diverse states — but not enough to win the 270 Electoral College votes necessary to win the presidency.

In a three-way race, it’s unlikely any candidate would win a majority of electoral votes, and then the power to choose the president would be taken out of the hands of the American people and thrown to Congress. The fact is, even if I were to receive the most popular votes and the most electoral votes, victory would be highly unlikely, because most members of Congress would vote for their party’s nominee. Party loyalists in Congress — not the American people or the Electoral College — would determine the next president.

A smart move on his part, it is a bit late in the race now to try to start a campaign. This is why Bloomberg is as wealthy as he is; because he is a smart cookie. Bloomberg might be a Democrat, but he is not an idiot. I would say that he might end up a Vice President; but Bloomberg does not strike me as the type to be a second banana. So, I am thinking he will bide his type, until the next election. Because, if Trump is elected, and his Presidency is a huge flop, Bloomberg can run as a Savior-type.

Just my 2 cents.

Is the Republican Party going to lose in 2016?

Please note: this posting was written last night at about 3 o’clock in the morning and I would have uploaded it then, but my blog was down so here’s the post in a few hours late.

——

This is one of those late night postings, that I am dictating from my phone, using voice to text. So, if it comes out not looking like what I normally type, this is why.

Earlier tonight, I had a conversation with my mother about the Democratic Party debates and the Republican Party debates. During this conversation with my mother, my mother made a very astute observation about the debates of both parties.

Basically she told me this, that the Republican Party debates looked like a bunch of kids fighting and arguing up on stage. She also told me that the Democratic Party debates were much more civilized and much more adult like.

Guest Voice: No Change in Foreign Policy from 2016 Standard-bearers

With all the turmoil and uncertainty coming from this election cycle, one constant is already known. U.S. Foreign Policy is well under the control of the international interventionists. The career globalists on the American payroll continue to push for more and greater engagements. Step back and consider the premise. Seldom is there an international involvement that is not eagerly embraced, funded and expanded. Based upon this premise, the record of continued failures is better understood. The systemic decline of a once great nation has developed into a pathetic deterioration of an imperial empire.

Leftists show their true colors at the news of Nancy Reagan’s passing

This, my friends, is the true colors of the Democratic Party and the leftist base that supports them. This is why I quit voting for them. This is the sort of bile that drove me away from that Party. I was no fan boy of Bush and Co. But, this sort of bile is uncalled for. Which is why I stopped voting for them, supporting them and such.

Check out:  First 30 Minutes: Vile Tweets About Death of Nancy Flow On Twitter – Breitbart

There is no excuse for it, at all. This is why Ronald Reagan left that party.

Update: Seriously Wonkette? I hope the Reagan family sues the crap out of you for this bile.
