Update:  After I hit publish, I sat here and thought about it for a second and decided to come back and add this update. I do not believe for one lousy second that Mark Sanford would have intentionally said a racist statement towards Obama at all. I think that, if anything, Tommy Christopher is trying to race-bait here a little. I believe, if anything, Mark Sanford simply just used a phrase like spears, because it was the first thing that came to his mind. Spears, Arrows, it is all the same. Again, I believe Tommy is baiting here, and I believe he is getting paid my Mediaite to do so. It is a pity, because I used to kind of like the guy a bit. Too bad, he is posting crap like that to make money. It is yellow and cheap and he should be ashamed. Maybe next time, when he has a heart attack, we on the right, won’t be so nice. Just saying. Frustrated

Update — 7/25/2013: For some reason, this blog entry is popping up in my traffic window. For the record, Mark Sanford simply said that Obama was throwing spears of fear. He did not use a well-known racist term for blacks, which is, for what it is truly worth, “Spear-Chucker.” Anyone that thinks that he did is: 1. an idiot 2. a race-baiter.

Grace Sungeun Lee saga continues

It just never ends for this poor family. I think everyone should really pray for this family.

While the court battle may have ended for Grace Sungeun Lee and her family after the terminally ill woman decided to stay on life support, the Lees are now allegedly being blocked from leaving the hospital and entering a nursing home.

According to the family’s posts this week on the Save Grace SungEun Lee Facebook page, Lee – who has a tumor on her brain stem and is paralyzed from the neck down – wants to get out of North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, N.Y., “now.” But the hospital has not been aiding the family in that process, they claim.

“Before – We were told by North Shore University Hospital that the nursing homes wouldn’t accept Grace because they couldn’t provide the same level of care,” the family stated on Facebook Wednesday. “NOW!!! – We contacted the nursing home and they told us that the nursing home has everything that the hospital said was needed. They were ready and even WILLING to accept Grace.

“All they requested was the record of the medications that Grace has taken in the last 7 days. They told us that North Shore Hospital has REJECTED and DENIED that request and said that it could not be done.”

Sad Story: 911 recording of Jake Evans — “I was planning on Killing”

This is a sad story on all points. However, I believe something is being overlooked.

ALEDO, Texas — A chilling recording of a 911 call captured a 17-year-old Texas boy telling the operator in a calm, monotone voice that he had just shot his mother and sister multiple times.

Jake Evans, 17, has been charged with capital murder in the deaths of his mother and 15-year-old sister and remained jailed Friday without bond.

The double slaying in the family’s upscale home in Aledo, about 20 miles west of Fort Worth, happened while Evans’ father was out of town on business and his two older sisters were not home. The motive remains “a big mystery,” Parker County Sheriff Larry Fowler said Friday.

During a 25-minute call to a 911 operator that started about 12:30 a.m. Thursday, Evans calmly says he just shot his mother and sister with a .22 revolver. He answers “yes” when asked if he’s sure they are dead.

“It’s weird,” he says as the operator continues asking questions. “I wasn’t even really angry with them. It just kind of happened. I’ve been kind of planning on killing for a while now.”

He adds that he could have shot “pretty much anybody.” When asked why, he says first that he doesn’t know but then says he doesn’t like people’s attitudes.

Evans tells the Parker County 911 operator that his mother and sister were rude, but he also says his sister, Mallory, had a really sweet side.

“This is probably selfish of me to say, but to me, I felt like they were suffocating me in a way,” he says. “Obviously, you know, I’m pretty – I guess – evil.”

I am assuming by looking at this picture and by seeing that they were homeschooled; that they were most likely Conservative Christian people; seeing that they were from Texas as well. I believe what you might be seeing here, is a sad case of undiagnosed mental illness. This young man obviously was not in full control of his mental faculties and his grasp on reality had slipped. It is very common in Conservative Christian circles to overlook signs of mental illness and just think that the person is “just that way.”

Either it is a tragic case, and what is even more tragic is that the liberal media and blogosphere, will paint this kid; because he was simply homeschooled, and possibly a Christian or coming from that sort of a background —- as some sort of a nutcase. Which in all honestly, the homeschooling and even Christian background likely had nothing to do with it at all.

Either way, my prayers go to the Evans family in this time of tragedy. My prayers go out to Jack Evans that he would get the help that he really needs. Because I do not believe he is evil, he is simply sick and needs to get well. God Bless Him and his Family.

Israeli Government Kills an American

This is a sad story, and I have a few thoughts about it.

JERUSALEM — An American opened fire in the dining room of a hotel in the southern Israeli resort of Eilat on Friday and killed a kitchen worker before being shot dead by police officers, the authorities said.

Micky Rosenfeld, an Israeli police spokesman, did not identify the gunman, but described him as a tourist who “might have worked” at the hotel, the Leonardo Club.

Mr. Rosenfeld said the man grabbed a pistol from a hotel security guard around 9:30 a.m. and fired several shots in the crowded dining area before storming into the kitchen, where he killed the worker, who also was not identified by the authorities.

The gunman then “barricaded himself in the kitchen,” inspiring police fears of a hostage situation. About 10:15 a.m., antiterror police units “moved in on the suspect and he opened fire again,” Mr. Rosenfeld said.

It turned out that no hostages had been taken and no one else was injured in the incident, Mr. Rosenfeld said, making it seem more like a workplace dispute than a terrorist attack. The circumstances of the situation and the gunman’s background are still being investigated.

Mr. Rosenfeld said he did not know where in the United States the gunman was from or how long he had been in Israel and for what reasons.

Now had this been any other Country, the State Department would be demanding answers as why they felt the need to kill this man. He was, after all, an American Citizen. However, because it is Israel, I can assure you that absolutely nothing will be done about this at all.  The United States Government will NOT say or do anything at all to upset Israel. They will simply blindly accept whatever excuse, no matter how lame; that Israel hands to them. There will be no repercussions at all.

This is why I have an issue with Israel’s and America’s relationship. Because basically, the United States of America, has become Israel’s useful idiot and they can and do run roughshod over the United States, its constitution and in this case; its people. There needs to be a limit placed on what this Country can get away with; and it needs to be strictly enforced. However, when you say stuff like this; those who traffic in identity politics on the right, will attack you and call you an Anti-Semite. This typical of that crowd and it was learned from the Frankfurt marxists at Columbia University.

Let me be clear here; I do not condone the actions of this person at all. However, I believe that Israel could have take great pains to see that this man be taken alive, tried with American representation and an American council. Not treated like an damned animal. This is to be expected from a Nation; one that is not recognized by the United Nations. They are quite famous for running over our Nation and our people; this is just another instance of that.

Update: The suspect has been ID. He was a Jewish American. The victim was an Israeli Arab. I still feel the way that I do.

Chicago NAACP official threatened by Obama campaign staffer

This is quite interesting.

David Lowery says he believes he was threatened during a phone conversation with Louis Raymond, the Illinois political director for Obama for America.

Lowery says he doesn’t personally support the president because he’s not addressing issues important to the black community. He said he was explaining that to Raymond when the Obama campaign official told him, “You know what? I know everything about you.”

Lowery says Raymond added, “We’ve been watching you, and since you don’t support Obama, we’ll deal with you,” before hanging up.

Lowery filed a report with the Oak Forest police report, he says, “in case something happens.”

If there is any sort of integrity in the Obama campaign, this staffer would be fired post haste. Could you just imagine the media press reaction, if a Romney staffer had said something like this to a media person; like Fox News?

This looks like a campaign crack up to me.

Reuters: Private Sector adds 162,000 new jobs

An interesting report from Reuters:

(Reuters) – Private employers added 162,000 jobs in September, topping economists’ expectations, a report by a payrolls processor showed on Wednesday.

Economists surveyed by Reuters had forecast the ADP National Employment Report would show a gain of 143,000 jobs.

August’s private payrolls were revised down to an increase of 189,000 from the previously reported 201,000.

If the best that the economists are shooting for is 150-160K jobs per month; that is setting the bar awful low.

What happened to all the jobs that were supposed to be created by the President’s stimulus program?  I thought that when a Democrat was elected into the White House that all of the World’s problems would end for everyone? That the oceans would rise and the World would come together as one?

I guess not. 🙄

Anyone that votes for this President again, is a dad-blasted idiot. I mean, what the hell has he honestly done for the unemployed in this Country? I mean, the only people who have made out like bandits, and I do mean quite literally there; are the damned unions and special interest groups. (READ: Minorities, Green Energy and the like…)

It is a damned disgrace; which is why I am casting my lot with Romney. Neoconservative or not, I am voting for him. Because we can do better than this nimrod who is in there now.
