Tennessee mother who fled police in New Mexico indicted for high-speed chase

Remember that crazy black woman who fled from the police twice? Well, a grand jury indicted her.

The Story:

A Tennessee woman arrested after leading police officers on a high-speed chase through Talpa in a minivan with her five children last month appeared in court Tuesday (Nov. 12) for arraignment on a grand jury indictment.

Oriana Ferrell will face charges of intentional abuse of a child, aggravated fleeing of a law enforcement officer and possession of drug paraphernalia following the Oct. 28 pursuit.

The attorney representing Ferrell, however, suggested during her arraignment that the case would “go nowhere” and argued that law enforcement officers were the ones who had endangered the defendant’s children when they fired on her vehicle in an attempt to stop the minivan.

“There was no reason at all to chase her down,” lawyer Alan Maestas told Eighth Judicial District Judge Jeff McElroy, referring to the pursuit that began when Ferrell allegedly drove away from a New Mexico State Police officer during a traffic stop.

An officer stopped her on State Road 518 near Talpa for driving in excess of the speed limit, according to a statement of probable cause filed in Taos Magistrate Court.

After being issued the citation, the officer wrote that Ferrell proceeded to drive north in her Kia Sedona minivan after declining to pay the fine or return to Taos to contest it before a judge.

The officer followed the 39-year-old Memphis resident for about one half-mile at which point she pulled to the side of the road. A struggle ensued, the officer wrote, as he attempted to remove Ferrell from the vehicle and was confronted by her 14-year-old son.

Two other officers arrived, according to court documents, and the family locked themselves inside the vehicle. The arresting officer wrote that he smashed the passenger side window with his baton before Ferrell drove away again. A colleague fired three rounds at the rear tires “in an attempt to keep the vehicle from leaving,” he wrote.

The officers pursued Ferrell down State Highway 518 before turning north on State Highway 68 and proceeding at speeds of up to 100 mph, according to court documents.

Ferrell brought the minivan to a halt in front of the main entrance to Hotel Don Fernando, the arresting officer wrote. Ferrell and her 14-year-old son were then arrested at gunpoint without incident.

Black Robbery suspects family angry that he was shot

For what it is truly worth, the man who shot the suspect; was black too. I could tell by his dialect; plus too, I have around enough of them to tell that as well. 😀

The Story via WALA-TV: (H/T to WND)

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – The family of a suspected thief is lashing out after their son was shot during an armed robbery.

Relatives of Adric White, 18, believe the Good Samaritan who opened fire should have “just left the store.”

FOX10 spoke exclusively with a customer who stepped in to rescue employees held at gunpoint Tuesday, November 12.

The Good Samaritan, who we are not identifying, told FOX10 News he was shopping at the Family Dollar on Stanton road when he noticed a masked gunman leading one of the employees to the front of the store.

“He had the gun to his head. He had him on his knees,” said the man. “I drew my gun on him and I said ‘Hey don’t move.’ At that point he swung around and before he had a chance to aim the gun at me I fired. I didn’t want to shoot him.”

White was transported to USA Medical Center, where he remains in police custody.

A family member who did not want to be identified said White should have never been shot to begin with.

“If his (the customer) life was not in danger, if no one had a gun up to him, if no one pointed a gun at him – what gives him the right to think that it’s okay to just shoot someone?” said the relative. “You should have just left the store and went wherever you had to go in your car or whatever.”

FOX10 had interviewed White’s parents but they later called and demanded the video not be aired.

I have no words. Should have just left the store?!?!?! Oh My. 😯 🙄

An FYI on the Beast and Don Fallon

I happen to be reading over at Breitbart.com and I happened to notice an article about Politico.com hiring a writer from that magazine the beast.

Well, I happen to have a bit of experience with that magazine called the Beast, and I happen to know a little something about the owner. If you’ll please click here you can read all about it.

Now some of you would probably say “what about you?” I have been more abundantly clear that my issues with the Zionism movement are strictly religious and political. I am NOT a Jew hater and Paul Fallon and his crew from The Beast are definitely Jew haters.

I just thought I’d let everyone know about that. And I find it very shocking that Politico would even hire someone like that.

If Harry Reid goes with the nuclear option, the Dems will be finished

That’s right folks, if Harry Reid is serious about pulling an overreach of this magnitude; the Democrats will face a setback that would last a very long time.

The Story:

Senator Harry Reid appears set to go nuclear — before Thanksgiving.

With Senate Republicans blocking a third Obama nomination to the powerful D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals, a senior Senate Democratic leadership aide tells me Reid is now all but certain to move to change the Senate rules by simple majority — doing away with the filibuster on executive and judicial nominations, with the exception of the Supreme Court – as early as this week.

At a presser today, Reid told reporters he was taking another look at rules reform, but didn’t give a timeline. The senior leadership aide goes further, saying it’s hard to envision circumstances under which Reid doesn’t act.

“Reid has become personally invested in the idea that Dems have no choice other than to change the rules if the Senate is going to remain a viable and functioning institution,” the aide says. That’s a long journey from where Reid was only 10 months ago, when he agreed to a toothless filibuster reform deal out of a real reluctance to change the rules by simple majority. Asked to explain the evolution, the aide said: “It’s been a long process. But this is the only thing we can do to keep the Senate performing its basic duties.”

Asked if Reid would drop the threat to go nuclear if Republicans green-lighted one or two of Obama’s judicial nominations, the aide said: “I don’t think that’s going to fly.”

Well, I can tell you this; if Reid thinks that this “will fly” with the American people, he is wrong and the Democrats will pay the price for this one. If you think that the Republican Party will not exploit this little boneheaded move for political purposes; you are crazy. This will be seen by many as a power grab by the Conservative movement; and they will use it against the Democrats in 2014 and 2016.

Not only that; what happens if the Democrats lose the majority in both houses of Congress? Then, the Republicans will use that relaxed power to stack the courts with people who, of course, the Democrats will not like and then you would have state Christian statism in a horrible form; and you have to know the Democrats will not like that one bit. Now, if I were a partisan type, I would think this would be awesome. However, I believe in divided Government and I happen to believe that one party acts as a check and balance to the other. It keeps one party from holding a monopoly on Government.

It all goes back to that airplane analogy that I like to use: If a plane flies in circles; whether clockwise or counterclockwise, it does not really go anywhere and sooner or later, it will crash. However, if that same plane flies level, it always gets where it is going.  The same goes for the Government; a Government that is controlled by one party, is doomed to failure and will eventually crash. However, a Nation with divided Government always gets where it is going.

Hopefully, Harry Reid has more sense than to pull a stunt like this one.

Census ‘faked’ 2012 election jobs report

This is not a terribly big shock to me; just look who is in the White House. This administration and Government is rife with corruption. I believe if this Government released the true numbers of unemployment in this Country; this stock market would crash and there would be a run on the banks of epic proportions.

The Story:

In the home stretch of the 2012 presidential campaign, from August to September, the unemployment rate fell sharply — raising eyebrows from Wall Street to Washington.

The decline — from 8.1 percent in August to 7.8 percent in September — might not have been all it seemed. The numbers, according to a reliable source, were manipulated.

And the Census Bureau, which does the unemployment survey, knew it.

Just two years before the presidential election, the Census Bureau had caught an employee fabricating data that went into the unemployment report, which is one of the most closely watched measures of the economy.

And a knowledgeable source says the deception went beyond that one employee — that it escalated at the time President Obama was seeking reelection in 2012 and continues today.

“He’s not the only one,” said the source, who asked to remain anonymous for now but is willing to talk with the Labor Department and Congress if asked.

The Census employee caught faking the results is Julius Buckmon, according to confidential Census documents obtained by The Post. Buckmon told me in an interview this past weekend that he was told to make up information by higher-ups at Census.

Ironically, it was Labor’s demanding standards that left the door open to manipulation.

Labor requires Census to achieve a 90 percent success rate on its interviews — meaning it needed to reach 9 out of 10 households targeted and report back on their jobs status.

Census currently has six regions from which surveys are conducted. The New York and Philadelphia regions, I’m told, had been coming up short of the 90 percent.

Va. Sen. Creigh Deeds stabbed by son, son shoots himself

My friends, I just woke up and got breakfast, coffee and my e-cig. I wake up to this awful news. I want everyone to know; I do engage in a good deal of political incorrectness on this blog. However, this here is somewhere that I will never go.

I can not even begin to imagine the pain this family is going through now. All I can truly say is; my prayers are with this family. 🙁

The Story

Virginia State Sen. Creigh Deeds was stabbed Tuesday morning by his son, Austin “Gus” Deeds, before the son fatally shot himself, Democratic sources tell News4.

Gus Deeds, 24, died at the scene, and Creigh Deeds is in critical condition in the intensive care unit of the University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville, the sources say.

Virginia State Police said in a press conference Tuesday that Creigh Deeds was stabbed multiple times in the head and upper torso. They believe the attack happened just before they were called to Deeds’ Bath County home (property seen in the picture below) at 7:25 a.m.

Deeds was airlifted to the medical center, police said. Gus Deeds died at the scene of a gunshot wound, police said.

State police would not confirm the reports that Gus attacked his father. However, Virginia State Police spokeswoman Corinne Geller said they were not seeking any other suspects.

Again, my prayers for the family. God keep them, and may they find peace in the time of sorrow.
