More black on white crime in Brooklyn, NY

More Black on white crime; and this time, it actually made the media.

The Story:

A group of 10 black youths — one of them a 12-year-old girl — surrounded a white couple’s car in Brooklyn, viciously beating the husband and yanking the wife to the pavement by her hair as they peppered the two with racial slurs, authorities said.

“Get those crackers!” some of them screamed, according to court papers. “Get that white whore!”

The confrontation erupted about 7 p.m. Monday, as the marauding group crossed Avenue U at E. 58th St. near Kings Plaza Shopping Center in Mill Basin.

Ronald Russo, 30, and his wife, Alanna, apparently had the green light and the husband honked at the group to get out of the way. The rowdy kids started kicking the car, according to the criminal complaint. Ronald Russo got out to check on potential damage to his vehicle.

And that’s when all hell broke loose.

Ronald Russo was dragged to the ground. Then he was punched and kicked in the head. He felt more blows all over his body, investigators said. He suffered a fractured nose, a broken septum, a blood clot and abrasions to his shoulder. He was treated and released from Beth Israel Medical Center.

In the midst of the attack, there was a steady chorus of epithets. “White motherf—–!” screamed the attackers, who ranged in age from 12 to 18.

Alanna Russo, 30, was calling 911 when the 12-year-old girl pulled the woman’s hair and threw her to the ground. The victim’s head slammed into the concrete. She suffered a black eye, bleeding and difficulty breathing, prosecutors said, but she refused medical attention.

Her husband’s iPhone was stolen during the melee, according to cops.

Weasel Zippers reports:

Kashawn Kirton, 18, has been charged with gang assault, harassment and menacing charges, all as hate crimes.

Daehrell Finch, 17 has been charged with gang assault, assault, menacing and harassment but does not face hate-crime charges.

Two more teens, a 12-year-old girl and a 14-year-old boy, have also been arrested, but their names have not been released.

Urbangrounds has very good posting and gives some good advice:

The lesson here is obvious: If your car is ever surrounded by a mob of black youths, no matter what they say or do to your vehicle, DO NOT GET OUT OF THE CAR. Drive away. Drive over them if you have to. But do not get out of your car. Oh, and it should go without saying, but ALWAYS keep a loaded and readily-accessible hand-gun in your car. Because you never know where or when evil will raise it’s ugly head.

You can also too move away from areas where blacks tend to live too. Which is what I want to do so very bad. I wanna go live in the woods, and away from the city. I intend to get there; one day. Since Obama took office, there has been an noticeable uptick of black on white crime. Just Obama’s people doing what he told them to do, is the way I see it.

God Bless John MacArthur for standing for the truth!

I have a new respect for this man. God Bless him for being bold enough to call a spade, a spade:

The Rev. John MacArthur, influential author, pastor and seminary president, responded to critics of the three-day Strange Fire conference at his Grace Community Church in Sun Valley, Calif., that many pastors believe is causing dissention among the faithful because he’s teaching that the Charismatic movement is leading people astray and dishonors the Holy Spirit.

MacArthur commented that some of his critics have said that he’s fixated on the Charismatic movement, a claim he countered by noting that in his 45 years in ministry, this was his first conference he’s held on the movement, and believes it’s come too late.

“In response to this conference, there have been some attacks, and we’ve been unable to escape them,” MacArthur said to the more than 3,000 attendees at the conference Friday night. “I just want to address those, because I do think that it’s important to answer the criticisms that have come.”

He first commented that he hosted the Strange Fire conference to help the Church, and people who believe the Bible is the word of God and that God has revealed Himself clearly and consistently and without contradiction.

“This is for the true church, so that they can discern; so that they can be protected from error; and so that they can be a source of truth for others outside the church,” he said, adding that his book, Strange Fire: The Danger of Offending the Holy Spirit With Counterfeit Worship, can withstand the most intense scrutiny, when measured against the word of God in the Bible.

As a former Pentecostal of 21 years, I am glad to see that this man has dared to stand against false doctrine in the body of Christ.

One of the best things written about the Tea Party yet.

What was I just saying about being a Paleoconservative? ConfusedThinkingI dont know

Well, here I go again, screwing up those credentials! Surprise

Peter Wehner writing over at, yes, Commentary Magazine (!) about those in the Tea Party that are feeling like the world is coming to end; in like the next few weeks:

This is not, from my vantage point, a particularly healthy approach to politics or one moored to reality. You can believe, as I do, that President Obama is doing great harm to America, that his agenda is having an enervating effect and that we face deep and serious challenges.

But some perspective is also in order. We are actually not on the verge of collapse and ruin. This period is not comparable to the Great Depression or the period leading up to the Civil War or the collapse of Ancient Rome. And tyranny is not just around the corner.

This is, rather, a difficult time in some important respects – one that requires sobriety and wisdom, public officials of courage and good judgment who are willing to act boldly but not recklessly. The truth is that our afflictions are not beyond our ability to address them, that our society is a complicated mosaic that eludes simple, sweeping characterizations, and America’s capacity for self-renewal is quite extraordinary.

Beyond that is the importance of understanding that the life of a nation, like the life of an individual, includes ebbs and flows; that almost every generation feels as though the problems it faces are among the worst any generation has ever faced; and that setbacks are inevitable and that progress is often incremental.

A final thought: There is no question that a great deal of repair work needs to be done. But the growing sense among some on the right that a curtain of darkness is descending on America is both unwarranted and can lead people to act in ways that are self-destructive.

Without understating our challenges for a moment, I rather hope a figure will emerge from within the conservative ranks who is not only principled but also winsome, who possesses an open and flexible mind and has not learned the art of being discontent. A person who doesn’t find fulfillment in amplifying anxiety and anger. Who doesn’t dwell in the lowlands because he’s too busy aiming for the uplands. And who knows that this fallen world is not a world without hope.

You see up there, where I underlined, that is important. We can be fiscal conservatives, but we do not have to be reckless about it. We want to slow down socialism, but we don’t want this to happen:

The biggest mistake the house Tea Party Conservatives made, was picking this fight so close to a debt ceiling deadline. Wrong battle, wrong strategy, wrong methods. This is why it failed. I wrote this before, but it does bear repeating again.

Great Quote of the Day…..with comments.

I normally do not link to this guy, due to some stuff that happened a while back. But, I thought this was a great quote and it applies to battling cultural Marxism and Christian warfare against the immoral and the neoconservative right as well. Something I know all too well about.

You cannot win in political combat by continually retreating. If you ever hope to win, you must first determine to fight. And once you’re in the fight, you must never stop fighting until you win. — Source

You see, this right here; is why I made a fuss about what was posted by this supposed gay conservative. Because I was offended at the very idea that he somehow thought that joking about putting Christians in canoes and putting them out to sea….or worse; was even remotely funny or even acceptable.  I rarely wear my Christian beliefs on my sleeve anymore, because of the stuff that I went through back in 2006 with a local Pastor here, who preached one thing on the pulpit and did another in private dealings with people.

However, there is a limit to what I will just ignore and laugh off; and making statements like the one that was made by this supposed gay conservative is one of them. I guess what I am basically trying to say, when it comes to Christianity, especially Fundamentalist Christianity; and the Baptist Faith:

DON’T TREAD ON ME!

Another thing that I really feel the need to say is this: Even though I do not approve of the gay lifestyle and happen to know that my Bible does condemn it, in more than one place, in the Old Testaments and New Testaments both —- you will not see me writing on here that homosexuals need to be deported, killed or anything stupid like that. What those people do behind closed doors is their business, not mine. Now, I do not like the gay pride parades, because that sort of stuff has no place in public, at all. I would say the same thing about X-rated displays. However, I am not one of the idiots on the Christian right who seem to think that gay people are a danger to society, that is Bryan Fischer’s little cottage industry, not mine.  If you want to read about the comic adventures of that guy, along with a good many of others, who act and think like him; go read this blog. It makes for great comedy.

What I am basically trying to say is that, while I am a Christian, and I make no apologies for that; and I will defend my beliefs against cultural marxists who want to rewrite history. However, I am not a fascist about it. I simply blog because I am worried about my Country’s future and where it is headed fiscally. I am not interested really in debating social conservatism or a lack of it. Oh sure, I will point out the outlandish stuff, like this here. However, I am simply not interested in trying to carve out a place in the social conservative and/or Christian world to berate the heathen. There are plenty of people doing that already. It simply is not my thing, at all.

Another thing too, and I think this is one if very important: The main reason why I am not interested in being another Bryan Fischer is well; because I am me. What I mean by the that is this: I am a flawed man, I am simply a sinner saved by the mighty grace of the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth. I still have a fleshly nature. Anyone that’s followed me on twitter knows that!  I have been “around the block a little” as they call it. I have been saved for 31 years.

However, I still struggle with a good deal of stuff. Some of it, is self-inflicted. Yes, I did start back to smoking during that fiasco that happened recently. I am not proud of that fact at all. 🙁 For what is truly worth, I have stopped smoking actual cigarettes and am now smoking an e-cigarette. I really do want to quit, but, the thought of that, sends me in a cold chill and makes me shake horribly bad.

The Bottom Line is: I am a Paleo-Conservative (with libertarian leanings…) I am a Christian too. But, I am NOT someone that feels he is qualified to be an authority on social conservative commentary. I know what *I* believe, and that’s good enough for me; but I am not interested in being a guru in that department. I started this blog, because I was quite displeased with the direction of the Country. Which at the time, was in 2006 with Bush. Needless to say, much has changed with Obama. I will be here to comment on the idiots on the left, and their hair-brained ideas on socialism. But, I don’t want to be seen as someone who’s a social conservative — mainly, because I suck at it myself. 😉

Enjoy your Sunday. I am off to do that now.

Good News for Seniors: Sen. Bernie Sanders Will Be On Budget Conference Committee

I think this is a good thing. Because I do not like the idea of the Republicans attempting to tinker with Social Security and Medicare.

Via The Huffington Post:

In what can only be seen as good news for people who like traditional earned-benefit programs like Social Security and Medicare, here’s one name that appears on the list of Senate conferees in the upcoming Paul Ryan-Patty Murray budget talks — Vermont independent Sen. Bernie Sanders. This ensures that beneficiaries of these programs will, at the very least, have one strong, supportive voice in the room who won’t go down in a squishy heap of “grand bargaining.” (I’m sure Paul Ryan is thrilled.)

Statement via Sen. Bernie Sanders Official website:

Sen. Bernie Sanders was appointed to a Senate and House budget conference committee to create a long-term budget plan by Dec. 13 to avert another government shutdown. A member of the Senate Budget Committee, Sanders said he looks forward to developing an alternative to the stopgap, sequestration-level budget that Congress approved late Wednesday as part of an agreement to reopen the government. “I am excited about being a member of the budget conference committee and I look forward to working with my Democratic and Republican colleagues to end the absurdity of sequestration and to develop a budget which works for all Americans. In my view, it is imperative that this new budget helps us create the millions of jobs we desperately need and does not balance the budget on the backs of working people, the elderly, the children, the sick and the poor,” Sanders said.

The conference committee was assigned to try to reconcile differences between separate budgets passed earlier this year by the Senate and the House.

[…]

The Senate budget protects Medicare while the House version would end Medicare as we know it by providing coupons for private health insurance. Unlike the House budget, the Senate resolution does not repeal the Affordable Care Act, which would prevent more than 20 million Americans from getting health insurance. The House version would eliminate grants for up to 1 million college students while the Senate plan protects Pell grants. The House version would kick up to 24 million Americans off of Medicaid while the Senate budget would protect their benefits. The Senate budget calls for new revenue while the House version would provide trillions of dollars in tax breaks mainly for the wealthiest Americans and profitable corporations offset by increased taxes on the middle class.

Progressive Blog Corrent has the full list:

House Democrats:

Rep. James Clyburn (S.C.)
Rep. Chris Van Hollen (Md.)
Rep. Nita Lowey (N.Y.)

From Senate Democratic Caucus:

Sen. Mark Warner (Va.)
Sen. Jeff Merkley (Ore.)
Sen. Chris Coons (Del.)
Sen. Tammy Baldwin (Wis.)
Sen. Tim Kaine (Va.)
Sen. Angus King (Maine)

In case anyone cares, here’s the list of Republicans:

House Republicans:

Paul Ryan (Wis.)
Rep. Tom Cole (Okla.)
Rep. Tom Price (Ga.)
Rep. Diane Black (Tenn.)

Senate Republicans:

Sen. Jeff Sessions (Ala.)
Sen. Charles Grassley (Iowa)

Sen. Lindsey Graham (S.C.)
Sen. Rob Portman (Ohio)
Sen. Pat Toomey (Pa.)
Sen. Ron Johnson (Wis.)
Sen. Kelly Ayotte (N.H.)
Sen. Roger Wicker (Miss.)

The reason why I say that Bernie Sanders is good addition to the group is this; Bernie Sanders is an independent populist type. He is not a Obama loyalist, and he will not be afraid to stand up to the Obama Democrats.

I have always said on this blog, that the solution to America’s debt problem is not the ripping out of Social Security or Medicare. The solution is to get rid of the so-called “Free Trade” deals and the pork barrel spending, which both parties partake in. Furthermore, tariffs for all imports would pay down our debt and fund the social safety net.

Either way, it is good to see someone like Bernie Sanders fighting for the seniors and the disabled in this Country; like my aunt, who is developmentally disabled.

Why I blocked @BruceCarrollSC on Twitter

I have noticed amongst the tea party movement, and conservative movement since Bush left office; an open hostile attitude towards the Christian right.

Here is proof of that:

For the record, that happens to be the owner of the blog named GayPatriot. He is now on twitter backpedaling and saying that his comments were taken out of context. A rather lame excuse, if you ask me. Sorry, I do not buy the stupid sarcasm excuse. I was not born yesterday. 😡

To that I simply said:

Because, I figure, if this homosexual so-called “Conservative” does not mind wishing that all Christians should be just thrown into the water and drown; then I do not mind calling him what he truly is, which a sin-depraved faggot, who is going to split hell wide open. My question to this mongrel is this; would you really say that about Jewish people, would you say that about Muslims too? The smart answer is no, you wouldn’t. You decided to say that about the religious people who won’t fight back; Christians like me.

Well, guess what there Gay fake Patriot, this Christian fights back for his Faith! 😡

The part that really steams me about this; is the fact that I would expect this sort of stupidity from the likes of Ed Brayton and the atheists on the left; But, from someone that is supposedly on our side? It makes me sick, and I am speaking out about it. You do not like me; because of my faith? Then, in my book; you are no better than the Islamists who slammed those plans into the trade center towers, the pentagon and the one headed for the white house.

End of discussion.

(Removed video clip, too nasty for this sort of a post.)

Video: A perfect example of the moral decline in this country

I write this in fear of being labeled a 41-year-old fogy. However, I believe it to be a valid case of a perfect, textbook example of the spiritual, cultural and moral decline of this Country. This performer’s, and I use the term very liberally; name is supposedly “Ke$ha.” I will fully confess to never listening to her music; and frankly, based on this video, I will never listen to her music.

Can someone possibly explain to this 41-year-old man just how in the name of God that this woman doing this sort of perverted, and borderline psychotic nonsense to her female organ on a public stage is supposed to pass as some sort of entertainment?

If this video is not proof that the United States of America has lost its moral foundations long ago, I really do not know what is. There are Christians who are actually foolish enough to believe that there is some hope of a so-called revival in this Country. I humbly submit that this video is living proof that we have long passed that mark; and that ship has long past sailed away, and America is judgment bound and hell-bent.

I humbly submit that this trash is not entertainment; but a full on display of the sin-depraved, godless nature of this Country.

Now, watch this video and ask yourself; would you really want your daughter listening to this so-called Lady’s music and want this sort of a so-called woman being a role model for your daughter?
