Former President Clinton has been working overtime to drag Barack Obama across the finish line in this year’s election. Clinton has been hands-down President Obama’s most effective advocate. His personal credibility may not be substantial, but unlike Obama, Clinton produced a non-disastrous presidency. Thus, his overall credibility vastly exceeds that of the current president.
So how is Obama awarding Clinton for his heavy lifting? By throwing Clinton’s wife under the Benghazi bus, it appears. On Friday, White House spokesman Jay Carney told reporters that responsibility for the consulate in Libya fell on the State Department, not the White House. This followed Joe Biden’s claim during the Thursday debate that “we” (apparently meaning Biden and Obama) knew nothing about the Libya mission’s request to the State Department for extra security.
To support this claim, Powerline blog links to Tucker Carlson’s Daily Caller, which itself has a credibility problem; and a claim by author Ed Cline, who has a problem telling the truth in his writings. Anyhow, Ed Cline writes the following:
“Not only would it be hard to predict how it would play out as far as Hillary is concerned in the future, but it would certainly damage Obama’s chances for re-election if she resigned,” he said.
Klein said relations between the Clintons and President Obama have reached a new low, most recently with Obama ignoring Bill Clinton’s offer to help him and Vice President Joe Biden prepare for the debates with the Republican ticket.
“He had very clear ideas on how they should do that,” Klein told TheDC. “He never once got a response. And it absolutely sent him into orbit. He was furious that he would be treated this way, especially after what he did, in his view, at the Democratic convention in giving that nomination speech for Obama.”
Added Klein: “His fury turned to deep concern when the Benghazi business unfolded because he was deeply troubled by the appearance that the White House was going to throw Hillary under the bus, which in fact it appears it is doing.”
Klein said Bill Clinton’s informal legal team is made up of people he’s used in the past in legal situations. He asked them by phone to tell him how Hillary Clinton should handle this situation and what to do if she is subpoenaed to testify to the House Oversight Committee and provide them with memos regarding Benghazi.
The author said the situation is obviously complicated by Obama’s re-election, but also the possibility that Hillary would run in 2016.
“If she is left with this stain on her reputation, it could seriously damage her chances for election,” Klein told TheDC. “And this is what is really bothering Bill more than anything.”
The Agonist is not buying it and neither am I. Above anything at all, Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama are faithful Democrats to the very end. I do not believe for one lousy moment that Hillary Clinton or Bill or even Obama would risk ripping the Democratic Party to shreds over something like this. I might not be a professional when it comes to politics; but I am not an idiot. I know the Democratic Party well and with them, party always comes first. Nice try guys, but it is not going to happen. If anything at all, there will be some profuse apologizing and it will end with that.

I think Dems deserve to lose if they feel like that person in the email. Dems are funny in a way Republicans are not; they are effeminate (for lack of a better word). They get their feelings hurt or perceive they are losing or they become disappointed in their candidate, they go around with the “Woe is me, I am so depressed but I’ll do what I have to do”.
What’s even more amazing is it is the Dems, not the Repubs who let a debate… a debate…after over three years in office, and Obama still can’t please these crybabies. The “Woe is me” attitude brings down everyone around them. Funny, dems are doing EXACTLY what Rush Limbaugh claimed the media was doing to surpass the Republican vote. Make them think it was a done deal, Mitt could not win. But dems can only blame themselves. They’ve told Obama what they thought of his performance and instead of waiting to see what happens at next debate, instead of listening to what he’s saying, looking at his actual actions, they they have pretty much written him off (apparently the person in your email post has but hey, they’ll do their part begrudgingly and vote for him). I say this as someone who was behind Bush all eight years, who supported Obama in 08’, who supported him his whole presidency, even when he made decisions I did not agree with, and I support him now. No wonder dems always look like wussies and go down with their heads between their legs. Yes, the right word is EFFEMINATE!
Advocates for the homeless in a Michigan community have formed a steering committee to look into whether a "wet house" should be opened where people with severe drinking problems can consume alcohol in safety
The Traverse City Record-Eagle reports today that supporters of the idea say it will keep some homeless people with alcohol addictions in the northern Lower Peninsula city safe when they are intoxicated and not allowed in shelters.
They say a wet house primarily would be for drinkers with greatly reduced chances of recovery. Alcohol would not be served at the wet house, but the homeless there would be able to drink what they bring in.
Such a house likely would be privately funded, have up to 12 beds and be staffed around the clock.
Let me get this straight. They are going to put up a joint where people can come and bring their own beer and get drunk and then pass out and sleep? I got one thing to say about all that:

OCTOBER 12–The Cleveland bus driver who delivered an uppercut to an unruly female passenger told cops that he struck the woman after she grabbed his throat and spit in his face as he was driving, according to police reports.
Artis Hughes, 59, was interviewed by officers shortly after the September 18 confrontation with Shi’dea Lane, 25, on a Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (RTA) bus.
Video of the fight (see below) went viral online this week, prompting RTA officials to suspend Hughes, a 22-year veteran, and characterize his behavior as “absolutely unacceptable.”
When cops responded to the stopped bus around 4 PM, Hughes and three passengers described Lane (pictured at right) as the incident’s aggressor. Hughes told cops that Lane initially boarded the bus without paying, claiming, “I left my bookbag.”
Hughes said that after Lane, a restaurant employee, eventually paid her fare, she told him, “You a Bitch and Your Momma’s a Bitch Too!” She also reportedly stated, “Keep talking about me and I will spit on you!”
In a written statement, Hughes recalled that Lane “grabbed me in the throat and spit on me in the face.” In response, the driver said he stopped the bus, “and I protected myself.” The Hughes statement does not reveal that he hit Lane squarely in the jaw with a bolo punch that knocked her to the ground.
One witness told cops that a “drunk” Lane “got on the bus fliping out” and “started talking crazy” to Hughes. After spitting on Hughes, the witness wrote in a statement, the driver “did what he had to do.”
A second witness wrote that Lane was “loud and obnoxious” from the start, and spit on Hughes and “started hitting him.” The witness added, “That’s when he hit her back.” A third witness described Lane as “drunk” and reported that “she hit him and he jumped out of his seat and started fighting her.”
But yet, she is the victim. I bet this feckless, um, what’s a word I can use without being obvious? Wookie? Anyhow, I bet this feckless Wookie voted for Obama too. It would not surprise me at all. She should be grateful that the driver was not carrying a handgun; because in some states city drivers like this here, can carry and she is lucky she was not shot. I know if I was driving a bus like that and some dumbass wookie started acting like that and attacked me and I was packing heat; she’d be a dead wookie when I got done with her!

WASHINGTON—The U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) issued the following statement, October 12. Full text follows:
Last night, the following statement was made during the Vice Presidential debate regarding the decision of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to force virtually all employers to include sterilization and contraception, including drugs that may cause abortion, in the health insurance coverage they provide their employees:
"With regard to the assault on the Catholic Church, let me make it absolutely clear. No religious institution—Catholic or otherwise, including Catholic social services, Georgetown hospital, Mercy hospital, any hospital—none has to either refer contraception, none has to pay for contraception, none has to be a vehicle to get contraception in any insurance policy they provide. That is a fact. That is a fact."
This is not a fact. The HHS mandate contains a narrow, four-part exemption for certain "religious employers." That exemption was made final in February and does not extend to "Catholic social services, Georgetown hospital, Mercy hospital, any hospital," or any other religious charity that offers its services to all, regardless of the faith of those served.
HHS has proposed an additional "accommodation" for religious organizations like these, which HHS itself describes as "non-exempt." That proposal does not even potentially relieve these organizations from the obligation "to pay for contraception" and "to be a vehicle to get contraception." They will have to serve as a vehicle, because they will still be forced to provide their employees with health coverage, and that coverage will still have to include sterilization, contraception, and abortifacients. They will have to pay for these things, because the premiums that the organizations (and their employees) are required to pay will still be applied, along with other funds, to cover the cost of these drugs and surgeries.
Oopsie! Looks like Biden was wrong again. But as I wrote in that other Biden post; that is what the Democrats are all about today. This sort of half truths and such. Should not be considered anything out of the ordinary with them.

Vice President Joe Biden accused Rep. Paul Ryan of putting two wars on the “credit card,” and then suggested he voted against the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq.
“By the way, they talk about this great recession like it fell out of the sky–like, ‘Oh my goodness, where did it come from?’” Biden said. “It came from this man voting to put two wars on a credit card, at the same time, put a prescription drug plan on the credit card, a trillion dollar tax cut for the very wealthy.”
“I was there, I voted against them,” Biden continued. “I said, no, we can’t afford that.”
Well, there is only one little problem with that:
Then Sen. Biden voted for the Afghanistan resolution on Sept. 14, 2001 which authorized “the use of United States Armed Forces against those responsible for the recent attacks launched against the United States.”
And on Oct. 11, 2002, Biden voted for a resolution authorizing unilateral military action in Iraq, according to the Washington Post.
When I wrote my review, I was trying to be respectful of the man’s age; unlike some. However, when someone who is old tells a lie, just I do not respect that at all. Again, this is all that the Democrats have left; lies, scaremongering, class warfare and race warfare. Anymore, it pretty much comes with the territory of the left.
