Few if any of his predecessors took the oath of office with higher public hopes for his success than President Obama on Jan. 20, 2009.
Millions of Americans hailed his election as an end to partisanship, a renewal of the spirit of compromise and a reinvigoration of the nation’s highest ideals at home and abroad.
Above all, as America’s first black chief executive, Obama symbolized the healing of long-festering wounds that were the terrible national legacy of slavery, the Reconstruction Era and Jim Crow. We would be, finally, one nation.
But after nearly four years in office, Obama has become a sharply polarizing figure.
His admirers believe he deserves a special place alongside Wilson, the Roosevelts and LBJ as one of the architects of benevolent government.
His critics believe he is trying to remake America in the image of Europe’s social democracies, replacing America’s ethos of independence and individual enterprise with a welfare state inflamed by class divisions.
This is one of the reasons why this story here, that I reported, does not make any sense. Why would Obama want to leave that Chicago machine; if he is so connected to it?
Either way, go check out the story; it is very interesting.
Normally, I take this stories for what they are worth. So, your normal disclaimers and Caveats are to be followed here; considering the sources of this report. In other words, if this turns out to be a load of baloney, just remember; it is just speculation.
This comes via Pat Dollard and it is being reported over at Joseph Farah’s WorldNetDaily.com: (I will always call it that, this WND.com business is a bunch of baloney! 😉 )

Are Obama insiders secretly making retirement plans for the Obamas with the expectation the president will lose his bid for re-election in November?
Very quietly, Obama’s chief financier, Penny Pritzker, has entered the Hawaii housing market to buy a retirement home for the president and his family that will be available not in 2016, but in January 2013, according to a confidential source within Pritzker’s Chicago organization
Pritzker, a wealthy Chicago business executive and heiress to the Hyatt Hotels fortune, served as national finance chairman for Obama’s 2008 campaign and is the co-chairman of his 2012 effort.
The source told WND that highly confidential internal polls conducted by the Obama campaign indicate Obama cannot win re-election, despite public surveys that show him in the lead.
“The public polls are mostly political,” the source argued. “Obama radicals want Romney supporters to feel discouraged and give up. Truth is that Romney’s winning.”
Seems to me that someone, who claims to be “of the people” would not be living in a place that really is “of the wealthy.” Now, before anyone says it, I do not fault Obama for being wealthy. I just fault him and the Democrats for straight up lying to the American people and saying that he is struggling with us. Yeah, like He and Michelle are really struggling! 🙄 Just look at the picture on your left!
Only thing Barack Obama is struggling with is how many rounds of golf that he will want to play everyday, when he hits the greens, after he retires.
However, as much as I want to believe this story. Something tells me that it is a good deal of wishful thinking by many people; including those up at WND.COM. Because I believe that the Democrats are going to do anything they can; including voter fraud and ballot stuffing, to keep Obama in the White House for another term. Because Obama is all the Democrats have left. After that, it is chaos in that party.
Either way, it will be interesting to see if whether Jerome Corsi is right about this story or not.

Looks like ol’ Larry Sinclair was not the only one. I’m just saying.

You remember the story about Jack Schaap, the Pastor of First Baptist Church of Hammond, Indiana?
Well, Mr. Schaap has signed a plea agreement with the Federal Government. The Christian Post has more:
Jack Schaap, former pastor of First Baptist Church of Hammond in Indiana, has signed a plea agreement in the U.S. District Court in Hammond admitting his relationship with a young woman when she was just 16. Schaap was charged with inappropriate behavior and taking a minor across state lines for the purpose of sex, and may be facing up to 10 years in prison.
“I have agreed, as set forth in a separate filing with the Court, to wave my right to Indictment by a federal Grand Jury with respect to the charge of transporting a minor with intent to engage in criminal sexual activity and to plead guilty to that charge,” reads Schaap’s plea agreement in court documents obtained by The Christian Post.
The court document also states that the expected sentence for such a crime could be up to 120 months, or 10 years incarceration
(….)
…First Baptist Church of Hammond relieved the pastor of his duties last month after a deacon apparently found a text message on his cell phone that showed the pastor and the girl kissing.
In the plea agreement, Schaap revealed that the relationship with the girl lasted two months, and that he had taken her from Indiana to Illinois and Michigan to have sex with her, the documents show.
The 54-year-old pastor, who served the 15,000-member Hammond church for 11 years and had been trying to reconcile his marriage with his wife, may have to give up a number of items prosecutors believe he used in his communications with the teenage girl, including an iPad and iPhone, a digital camera and voice recorder, and two computer flash drives. According to records, Schaap had been counseling the girl when their relationship began.
I hate to be the one to say it about this man, but, it is the truth; the Man brought the whole thing on himself. There are some who believe that this man was simply carrying on the tradition of his Father-in-Law, Jack Hyles. However, the thing that these people have to prove this little accusation is hearsay and accusations from disgruntled former members of the Church. However, I have listened to this mans preaching in the past and there were things that bothered me. So, the fact that this man was brought up on charges, does not surprise me at all.
Again, it is a sad thing to behold; but, the Church is making it still and doing well. I pray for this man and his family.

In this issue:
Alright, time to go George Patton on these idiots. But first the story:
8:42 p.m. | Updated SALT LAKE CITY – Mitt Romney’s traveling press secretary walked to the back of the candidate’s plane midflight on Tuesday and teasingly asked a pair of journalists in an exit row if they were “willing and able to assist in case of an emergency.”
Under the circumstances, it was hard to tell whether it was a question or a request.
A palpably gloomy and openly frustrated mood has begun to creep into Mr. Romney’s campaign for president. Well practiced in the art of lurching from public relations crisis to public relations crisis, his team seemed to reach its limit as it digested a ubiquitous set of video clips that showed their boss candidly describing nearly half of the country’s population as government-dependent “victims,” and saying that he would “kick the ball down the road” on the biggest foreign policy challenge of the past few decades, the Palestinian-Israeli peace process.
Grim-faced aides acknowledged that it was an unusually dark moment, made worse by the self-inflicted, seemingly avoidable nature of the wound. In low-volume, out-of-the-way conversations, a few of them are now wondering whether victory is still possible and whether they are entering McCain-Palin ticket territory.
It may prove a fleeting anxiety: national polls show the race remains close, even though Mr. Romney trails in some key swing states.
Still, a flustered adviser, describing the mood, said that the campaign was turning into a vulgar, unprintable phrase.

Okay now; Gentleman, your attention please. Now, listen. You did not think that this election was going to be handed to you on some sort of golden platter did you? Nothing is won, without some sort of a fight. The Democrats are just not going to let you walk all over them and hand the election to you. Oh heck no….. They are going to do everything in their power to hold on to that office of President. It is the only thing they have left.
I give you the words, of General Patton:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9b5g1avyCSA&hd=1
Gentlemen of the campaign to elect Governor Mitt Romney to President of the United States — this is war, it is war for the soul of America. This is no place, for sidewalk sissies, for pussies who are scared to fight for America. While you are not fighting against the Japanese or Nazi’s. You are fighting against those, who want to change the face of America around the world. As Americans, we cannot allow this to happen. We have a mission and it is about damned time, that you fools who are being paid to put Governor Romney in the White House, to start earning your money that you are paid.
It is at the point, where the Romney campaign is at “do or die.” This is no place to start giving up, this is the stage where we start fighting like hell. The other side knows this and is now really starting to fight. We know who our friends are and it is not the establishment. Therefore, we must fight this battle ourselves. We cannot allow the other side to define us; if we do we will lose this battle and I mean badly. We must fight with what we have; and that is the facts. The truth is on our side and we can win this; if we fight this battle properly.
The media, outside of maybe Fox News Channel and other smaller Conservative outlets — is not our friend and we should not try to pretend otherwise. They are not reliable, they are not to be trusted, and they should only told and given; what they really need to know. The Blogging world is, for the most part, against us. Even some blogs, that call themselves Conservative; are not on our side at all. They too, should be treated with suspicion and distance should be kept from them.
So, in closing: To the staff of the Mitt Romney campaign, I give this request: If you are not in this battle win and I mean win big — get out now, please. The last thing we need, are people that are not interested in winning the war against the progressive liberal left. The last thing we need, are people that will fold like a deck of cards in the face of the liberal elite, and the liberal controlled media.
Gentleman, this is war and if you are not in it, to win it — then leave and let those who want to win, work for that campaign. We have too much at stake here in this election and losing, is just not an option.
God Bless America.

I noticed this myself, that the so-called controversial video that Mother Jones released, when they finally released the whole thing; was missing a bit of it.
The people over Breitbart.com observe:
There is no way to know, without the missing footage, exactly what Romney said. On Monday evening, Romney called for a complete video of his remarks to be released.
That now turns out to be impossible, either because Romney’s remarks were never recorded in full (as Mother Jones now claims), or because some of his remarks–perhaps mitigating some of the controversial effect of his statements–were selectively edited out of the tape by Mother Jones or its chain of sources (including former President Jimmy Carter’s grandson).
Earlier on Tuesday, new media pioneer James O’Keefe pointed out the hypocrisy of the mainstream media in accepting, without question, a snippet of a video recording that aimed to portray a Republican in a bad light, while conservatives are still doubted even after providing full video or audio, as O’Keefe did with his famous ACORN tapes.
Whether Romney is right or wrong about the “47 percent” of Americans he says have become dependent on government–he stood by his May remarks on Monday evening–he may have been taken out of context.
Mother Jones has failed a basic test and broken its promise to its readers and the public. There is now reason to doubt that it provided Romney’s full remarks–not just the context, but the remarks themselves. And there is new reason to suspect manipulation.
Corn promised the complete version of Romney’s remarks. Instead, he provided a version that is missing a large portion of video at the critical moment.
Mother Jones’s entire story now deserves to be treated with suspicion, if not contempt.
via BreitBart.com: Selective Edit? Mother Jones Admits Romney Tape Missing ‘One to Two Minutes’.
Quite true. Another thing too; we need to stop letting the left write the narrative in this election. This is nothing more than an attempt to steal Romney’s narrative and turn him into someone that he is not and that is an out of touch, aloof, rich Republican. Which is a bunch of bunk. The man has money; yes he does, and you know what? He worked for every last dime of it. Just like you and I do; just like I did, when I was working.
So, we need to fight back against this “John Kerry”ing of Mitt Romney. It is not fair, it is slime-ball politics and we can defend him from it. Also too, people like David Frum, Scott Walker and Bill Kristol can just quite frankly go to hell. They are not Conservatives, they are not on our side. They are nothing more than establishment Republicans; and big Government Conservatives who are more interested in furthering their own egos, than they are interested in saving this Country from disaster.
We are in the battle for the soul of America; we lost the last battle, because of stupidity on our side. We cannot afford to lose this one and you establishment people are either with us or against us. Pick your sides, now.

So sad to get news like this:
Two people were killed and 12 others injured Sunday morning when a van carrying youth from Cedar Grove Baptist Church in Maryville, Tenn., collided head-on with an SUV while returning from a weekend retreat in Gatlinburg.
The driver of the van, Jeff Trussell, and teenager Courteney Kaliszewski were killed. Ten passengers ranging from middle school to college age were transported to the University of Tennessee Medical Center. Two of those were transferred to Children’s Hospital. According to local media, at least two Lifestar helicopters and three ambulances transported the victims.
The driver of the SUV, 21-year-old Tyler J. Schaeffer of Seymour, Tenn., crossed the center line of Chapman Highway in Sevier County and struck the van head on, causing it to catch fire. Strangers stopped to help rescue passengers in the church van and offer aid until emergency vehicles arrived.
