As you all know, I moderate the comments section on here. Mainly because I would like a Blog that isn’t full of Liberal stupidity.

You a racist?  What would make anyone say that? Was Obama on the street coner?  What the Hell did you expect his campaign to say?  Didn’t I read somewhere that he is dealing with the very real possibility that the woman who raised him is dying? Please don’t be a bottom feeder.

At the risk of sounding like Mark Levin, I would expect that idiot liberal to at least pay for the young woman’s medical bills, even personally call her and express his sorrow for the attack. But did Barry do that? No! Best he could do is issue some rather lame statement through his fucking campaign!

As for your allegations of racism. Don’t make me laugh. I’ve got black friends and white friends and friends of other races as well. But even if I were a racist bigot, isn’t my constitutional right to be a racist? Am I not a free American? Since when did it become a fucking federal offense to happen to not care for a particular race? The truth is, it is not or has it ever been, or will it ever be, unless some stupid idiot liberal manages to pass a piece of legislation outlawing the disliking of over races. Which in that case, they’d better arrest all of the Latinos and Blacks up in Washington D.C., because from what I saw on a special on CNN, there is a group of them in Washington D.C. and there’s a street, I believe it was 150’th street, that Latinos don’t cross and blacks don’t either, they stay on their respected sides, otherwise a war will break out.

Of course, because I’m white, I’m convenient for the blacks to target. Seeing how it has worked for years. That’s what keeps Al “Interloper” Sharpton and Jesse “Hymietown”  Jackson in business.

As to the socialist idiot who left the comment, my advice to you is, if you don’t like what you read here. There’s plenty of Liberal Blogs out there to read. I don’t force anyone to come here. That’s why the sign on the door says “Moderate Libertarian Opinion”. This is an Opinion Blog, of whom, it’s owner thinks socialism sucks. You might want to look that up.

FRANKLIN, Ind. (AP) — A Republican county election clerk distributed copies of an apparent chain letter referring to Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama as a “young, black Adolf Hitler” to two employees but later told police she intended it to be a joke.

The employees, who had voted for Obama in Indiana’s Democratic primary, discovered the letters at their desks after returning from Labor Day weekend, Deputy Sheriff Doug Cox said in a police report made public this week. One of the workers complained, and surveillance video showed Johnson County Clerk Jill Jackson placing an item one worker’s desk at 5:27 p.m. on the Friday of Labor Day weekend, Cox said.

“She admitted to being responsible for the letter, but only did it as a joke,” Cox said. Jackson told police she had intended to speak with the workers upon returning to work but forgot.

I can see private citizens, but election officials? This woman ought to be fired.

It gets a wee bit racist too:

The letter does not mention Obama by name but makes references to his ties to a Chicago church whose pastor, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, adheres to black liberation theology. It is heavy with racial references, criticizing the candidate’s parentage with such comments as, “He is proud of his ‘African heritage’ (a father who got a white girl pregnant and deserted her)” and asking, “Where is the pride in his ‘White heritage?’”

The unsigned letter urges readers to send it to everyone they know.

Not smart, not smart at all. 🙄

Of course:

Indiana this year is considered a battleground state, and Obama campaigned there Thursday, drawing an estimated 35,000 people to a rally in downtown Indianapolis.

Johnson County is heavily Republican, with nearly three-quarters of the votes cast in the 2004 presidential election going to President Bush.

Just showing them true colors, as always. This is why I am not in that party.

Now this is getting serious. I thought the face carving was bad, but this is getting real.

The home of a Central Florida Republican headquarters manager was shot up and damaged over his support of Sen. John McCain, the man told police.

Rog Coverely said several pellets pierced his Longwood home. Coverely showed several spiderwebbed-holes in the front windows of his home.

The Republican manager said he is convinced he was targeted because of new McCain signs he added around his home.

“All I can tell you is this, I have a very good relationship with my neighbors,” Coverely said. “I mow my lawn. The only thing that has changed is I have two McCain signs in my front yard.”

Coverely said he has taken about 300 calls concerning stolen or vandalized McCain signs in the area.

“It says this campaign is getting vicious,” Coverely said.

Coverely said it appears Democrats are becoming more aggressive in the county.

“I wouldn’t say slipping, but I would say the Democrats have become far more aggressive in Seminole County because it is such a heavy Republican area,” Coverely said.

Meanwhile, McCain was in Florida on Thursday.

The Republican presidential nominee spoke at Allstar Building Materials in Ormond Beach. Later he’ll be in Sarasota for a “Joe the Plumber” bus tour rally at Robarts Arena.

I mean, I do not know about you. But I am more worried that if Barack Obama will be elected there might just be an outbreak of lawlessness. Even more so, if McCain wins. This is why I do not put Signs up at my house here.

Via WTAE-TV in Pittsburg, Pa:

A 20-year-old woman who was robbed at an ATM in Bloomfield was also maimed by her attacker, police said.

Pittsburgh police spokeswoman Diane Richard tells Channel 4 Action News that the victim was robbed at knifepoint on Wednesday night outside of a Citizens Bank near Liberty Avenue and Pearl Street just before 9 p.m.

Richard said the robber took $60 from the woman, then became angry when he saw a McCain bumper sticker on the victim’s car. The attacker then punched and kicked the victim, before using the knife to scratch the letter “B” into her face, Richard said.

Richard said the woman refused medical treatment after the assault, which happened outside the view of the bank’s surveillance cameras.

The robber is described as a dark-skinned black man, 6 feet 4 inches tall, 200 pounds with a medium build, short black hair and brown eyes. The man was wearing dark colored jeans, a black undershirt and black shoes.

The Obama-Biden campaign released a statement, commenting on the attack. The statement said “Our thoughts and prayers are with the young woman for her to make a speedy recovery, and we hope that the person who perpetrated this crime is swiftly apprehended and brought to justice.”

I know what I am thinking, but the last time I expressed my frustration, I made it to gawker.com. So, I’ll just keep my damn mouth shut. I think you all know what I’m feelin’… Angry

This is why I am no longer a Democrat

It is not everyday that I agree or even link to, or in this case, fawn over a story that is done by the National Review.

But this, is an exception……

Byron York just did an excellent story on a Marine who gave John McCain his purple heart.

"I just gave John McCain my Purple Heart," Marine Sgt. Jack Eubanks told me a few minutes after McCain finished a speech at a campaign rally in Woodbridge, Virginia Saturday. "I said, ‘I want to give this to you, sir, as a reminder that we want you to keep your promise to bring us home in victory and honor, so it will mean something.’"

"We fought over there, and we want it to mean something," Eubanks continued. "We don’t want to come back and it just be all for nothing."

Eubanks, 22 years old, knows as much about the war as anyone. On October 3, 2005, he was in a Humvee on patrol near the Syrian border when an IED went off. "I was thrown from the vehicle, took some shrapnel, landed on my spine and mashed it up a little bit," Eubanks told me in a remarkably good-humored way. He was injured much more than just a little; it took him eleven months to recover. And then — then he volunteered to go back. In August 2007, he was hurt again in a strangely similar way. "Hit by a mortar, thrown from a vehicle — the same situation," Eubanks told me. Now, he’s teaching recruits at Marine Corps Base Quantico — and walking with a cane.

Steve over at Wizbang, chimes in on this, in a way, that I never could ever match:

This, is why I could never vote Democrat come November 4, 2008. The Democratic Party just does not give flying flip about our Military. Barack Hussein Obama has never served a damned day in our Nation’s Military. He just does not fucking get it it at all. Yes, I do realize that our going into Iraq was a tragic mistake, caused by a incompetent and possibly lazy intelligence department. But for this Nation to pull itself out of a situation that we created ourselves; would be the greatest strategic blunder, since the United States of America’s withdrawal from Vietnam.

If we quit, before it’s time. All those that we lost, will have been lost; for nothing.

The finer points are:

Ayers was not simply protesting “against” the Vietnam War. Firstly, he wasn’t against war in principle, he was agitating for the victory of the communist forces in Vietnam. In other words: He wasn’t against the war, he was against our side in the war. This is spelled out in great detail in Prairie Fire. Secondly, and more significantly, the Vietnam War was only one of many issues cited by the Weather Underground as the justifications for their violent acts. As you will see below, in various quotes from Prairie Fire and in their own list of their violent actions (and in additional impartial documentary links), Ayers and the Weather Underground enumerated dozens of different grievances as the rationales for their bombings — their overarching goal being to inspire a violent mass uprising against the United States government in order to establish a communist “dictatorship of the proletariat,” in Ayers’ own words.

• Ayers and his co-authors freely brag about their bombings and other violent and illegal acts, and even provide a detailed list, most likely typed up by Ayers himself, of the crimes they had committed up to that point. Ayers’ list, scanned directly from Prairie Fire, is shown below. He may have escaped conviction due to a legal technicality (the prosecutors failed to get a warrant during some of their surveillance of the Weather Underground), but this in no way means that Ayers was factually innocent of the crimes. As has been widely reported, after the case against him was dropped, Ayers described himself as “guilty as hell, free as a bird.”

• Just because Ayers tries to appear respectable now doesn’t mean that he wasn’t a violent revolutionary in the past. In fact, as the text of Prairie Fire shows, Ayers was one of the most extreme extremists in American political history. And as the links given as the end of this essay will prove, Ayers is just as politically radical now as he was back then. He has never renounced the political views he professed in the 1960s and 1970s. The only difference is that now he no longer commits violence to achieve his goals. After his stint as the leader of the Weather Underground, he shifted to a different tactic: to spread his ideology under the aegis of academia. But the goal remains the same: to turn America into a communist nation. Ayers’ contemporary writings contain many of the same ideas (and even the same phrases) found in Prairie Fire, just toned down to make them more palatable in polite society.
