I hate to be one to say it about HotAir.com….but

You guys are screwing up….badly.  Sexism? Please, this is reality people. Get with the program already! 🙄

HotAir.com is supposed to be a Conservative Blog. I find that to be unbelievable, considering this video that was posted today.

Ed, Allah, and yes, you too Tina! Please, don’t go the Ann Coulter route okay? It cheapens your message and it makes you look like hypocrites.

Tina, you are a Catholic, try actually dressing like one and not like some office “MILF” looking for a place up the corporate ladder. I did not even watch the video; I was that sickened by what I saw and I am sure that Rick Santorum just loved being next to a chick that was essentially him a peep show of her hoo haa. (if you know what I mean….)

Because you see, this right here is one of the biggest reasons, in litany of other reasons; why I left the Evangelical, Pentecostal Christian circles and went back to the Independent, Fundamental, KJV Baptist Circles. It was the, “We’re Christians and we love Jesus; but don’t ask us to dress like it, talk like it or not drink bear and not wear mini-skirts!” thing that really put me off. In fact, I went to a Church just like that and it got the point where I just did not even want to go there, because of the lack of a dress code. Some men might actually like that kind of thing; but when you are trying to serve the Lord and keep your mind pure and your Heart right, when you are single man, and you have to look at that sort of thing —- it wears on you greatly.  I can honestly tell you that my three years that I attended that Church which I linked to, was one of roughest periods in my walk with the Lord. Needless to say, I am glad I left there for good finally in 2004. (and I am sure they were glad to be rid of me; but considering what their former Pastor was revealed to have done with someone other than his wife —- They really do not have a thing to say to me!)

To be fair to the one’s who I did level some criticism at; the Baptist circles are not much better. When I left the tongues crowd in favor of Baptist Christianity; I landed at this Church here. I went there back before they changed their name — twice. I left once to check out other Churches in the area and ended up coming back there in 2006 and then leaving again. All I will say about that Pastor is that I take Matthew Chapter 18:15-17 literally — and this Pastor, did not. Sorry, but calling me on a cellphone is not a way I consider to be a proper way to level accusations against me. Especially after I have spent over five weeks helping remodel your little Church office that you just had to have — for free!  Not to mention the fact that not a darned word of the idiotic accusations against me were even remotely true. In case you are wondering, that hick of a Pastor considered me looking this up here to be and I quote, “getting on the internet and looking up private information about HIS Church.” His words, not mine. Needless to say, I left and never went back again; nor will I ever.  Will I ever go anywhere ever again; I highly doubt it. I just do not need the headaches anymore. I will just stay home, read my Bible and wait for the Lord to come back and sort all this mess out.

Before anyone says it in the comments; I know there is no such thing as a perfect Christian. I know this all too well. But, I think some so-called Christians could really try, just a little bit harder. Especially, when they are in the public eye and they are supposed to be representing a Conservative viewpoint and in this young lady’s case; the body of Christ.

One thing I will give to the Jewish people and to the Muslim people; at least they are sincere about what they believe and actually act like it. More than I can say for the people who claim to be the blood-washed believers in Christ Jesus.

Needless to say, I highly doubt said daughter will be mouthing off on facebook anytime soon. Shooting a laptop.. Ouch. That’s just harsh. 😯

My feelings on the Josh Powell tragedy

Things like this are never, ever, easy to write about, because if you take a position that is outside of the normal realm of opinion; people tend to think you are someone who justifies murder or crime.  Let me say emphatically that I do not condone, justify or even remotely support what justify that which Josh Powell did to his Children or even possibly to his wife.

However, yesterday I wrote a posting on this blog, which shows that something is seriously wrong with our Government.  It just so happens that if the Government decides that you have committed a crime, the burden of clearing your name falls on the person accused of the crime; and if you happen to not be a person of great means of wealth, you basically become a slave to the judicial system. Sometimes that judicial system becomes poisoned —- whether by bias, religious discrimination or some other poison.  Furthermore, if you marry a woman and that woman’s family and parents decide that they have a vendetta against you, and they have the Government on their side, you are twisting in the wind, my friend. As for Powell’s wife, the authorities have no idea what happened to his wife. All they have are theories.  The truth is she could have left the Country or State with another man for all we know. But, it will not be properly investigated; because they have to pin the murder on someone; so, why not Josh? He killed himself and his two kids, did he not? It is an conviction of convenience; something big, intrusive Governments are known for.

Such is the case of Josh Powell — From the Salt Lake City Tribune:

Graham, Wash. • Relatives of Josh Powell blamed government officials, media and Internet media pundits for setting in motion the terrible tragedy that has now rocked two families.

The statement signed by Maurice and Patti Leach said they were “grievously saddened” by the loss experienced by both the Cox and Powell families and that there was no justification for the deaths of Powell’s two innocent sons, Charlie, 7, and Braden, 5.

Patti Leach is Steve Powell’s sister. They attended a September custody hearing to support Josh Powell. In a statement they said that he had asked for their support in helping him as “the next patriarchs of the family” following his father’s arrest on pornography and voyeurism charges.

“We were also asked by Josh if we would offer a safe haven for his sons should the need arise,” the Leaches said. “Our answer was absolutely yes.”

The Leaches said they had become disillusioned with the legal system during the court proceedings. They said government agencies, religious bias, “Internet kangaroo courts and sensationalized media had circumvented and “completely compromised” due process rights in the case.

“America, this is not only a tragedy, Sunday was a dark day for all of our families,” the Leaches said.

On May 18, 1927 a School in Bath, Michigan was bombed.  A man named Andrew Kehoe was the culprit.  The media then made him into a monster.  The truth is, the man was pushed into foreclosure on his farm, because of excess taxes brought on a levy to pay for a school.  The point here is that Andrew and Josh both have one thing in common; they were pushed to the brink of violence and committed these acts of violence because they were pushed; by an intrusive Government that would stop at nothing, to get what it wanted. Sadly, because of this, in 1927 — 45 people; 38 children who never got a chance to grow up and be adults, 2 teachers, 4 other adults and the bomber himself were killed and 58 people were injured. All because the Government just had to have its taxes.

I think we can do better than this — much better.

FBI says that “sovereign citizens” are a threat.

(Reuters) – Anti-government extremists opposed to taxes and regulations pose a growing threat to local law enforcement officers in the United States, the FBI warned on Monday.

These extremists, sometimes known as “sovereign citizens,” believe they can live outside any type of government authority, FBI agents said at a news conference.

The extremists may refuse to pay taxes, defy government environmental regulations and believe the United States went bankrupt by going off the gold standard.

Routine encounters with police can turn violent “at the drop of a hat,” said Stuart McArthur, deputy assistant director in the FBI’s counterterrorism division.

“We thought it was important to increase the visibility of the threat with state and local law enforcement,” he said.

I said this over at another blog’s comment section and I will say it here; A Government that watches it’s citizens and considers them a threat; fears those people and that is because they are doing wrong. This is nothing more than a police state action; and the American people should vote accordingly in 2012.

Further more, I find it most insulting that the United States Government would rather hunt down its own citizens, rather than hunt down and capture the real terrorists, who truly hate this Country and want to see it destroyed. That would be the radical Islamic Jihad Terrorists; you know like the ones that slammed those planes into the Trade Center, the Pentegon, and the field near Shanksville, Pa? — or people like these here? But no, our Government, see people like me; citizens who disagree with the policies of the socialist President to be a threat.

Having said that, I have an open message to the United States Government, Federal Bureau of Investigation, President Barack Hussein Obama, The United Nations and the rest of the Big Government morass:

Go Fuck Yourselves Sirs!

Special Comment: Jennifer Petkov

I title this with a rather short headline, because frankly I cannot think of anything to put in there, besides the woman’s name. It was Indira Gandhi, who served as the third Prime Minister of India, who said the following, “Forgiveness is a virtue of the brave.” It takes a great deal of bravery to forgive someone who has wronged you. I could write about that for hours on end. If I had a dollar for everyone who has ever wronged me, I could live a very comfortable life as a very wealthy man. Unfortunately, I have more forgiveness than I have money. Funny how that works, is it not?

The dunder head twins

I noticed a rather odd thing happening on this new blog with the stats earlier today, for some odd reason they kept going up. I check and sure enough, a familiar name was back in the headlines —Jennifer Petkov. I let out a rather audible groan and went to look at the stats for the old blog of mine and sure enough, the hits were climbing quicker than the unemployment rate in Detroit. I noticed Jennifer Petkov’s name in the search results. I sighed and thought, “What has that crazy woman done this time?” I opened a browser tab, did a search, and saw that Mrs. Petkov and her overgrown boyfriend or husband, (not sure which…) was going to be on Dr. Phil’s show. “Oh great, give the little attention whore more than she really deserves,” I muttered to myself in a rather rude sounding tone, which was even bad for me. I give the little bleached blonde bimbo a year, she will be doing porn flicks, or nudie spreads in playboy. Yeah, I said that Jennifer, and I am damned proud of it. I would just love to see her to try suing me for insulting her.

Anyhow, I watched the show. I have conflicted feelings about it. I did not like how the show was biased against Jennifer Petkov. I know what she did was horrible, but I believe everyone should be fairly represented in the media, and she was denied that. Further, I think her lawyers might have given her some bad advice in letting her do the show. What struck me as being very odd; is how Jennifer Petkov at first, admitted to doing some stuff, then sort of being sorry for everything. I believe she does not want to implicate herself even more than she already has. Furthermore, I did not like how Dr. Phil just took the accusations of Rebecca Rose at face value — for all we know, Rose herself could have put those postings on Facebook and blamed Jennifer for it. Unless we have some sort verifiable proof from Facebook, such as an IP address that belongs to Jennifer Petkov, then the things, outside of those photo shops could have been done by someone else, including Mrs. Rose herself. I wonder if Petkov’s lawyer bothered to find that out at all.

Rest in Peace Kathleen

Now before I go any further, something needs to be said. This entire damned thing is not about the two broads who were friends and had some sort of dirty tampon fight. What this truly is about; is Kathleen Edward. A little angel is gone, to be with her Mother and her grandfather. The actions of Jennifer Petkov were reprehensible, there is no dispute to that; however, in our reporting of those actions, we must not give this idiotic bimbo of a woman any more attention than she truly deserves.

Up above I wrote a quote that read, “Forgiveness is a virtue of the brave.” The person that exemplifies that fact is Kathleen Edward’s father, Robert Edward. On Dr. Phil’s show, Robert Edward expressed a desire to forgive Jennifer Petkov, because Kathleen would have wanted that, and because of that, he was done with the issue. I have to commend the man for that, because it takes a great deal of courage and strength to do something like this.

I hope that this is the last time I will ever have to write about this awful subject. I was not that happy to become involved with it; however, because I am from the area, I feel the need to write about it. The main reason is just that it makes everyone from this area, to those outside of the area — look like crazy people. I believe there are some that honestly believe that Michigan is a crazy State filled with crazy people. Outside of the occasional stray, I can proudly state that we are saner that some might think. However, let me state that sometimes sanity is so overrated.

In closing: I hope that I was able to add a bit of humor to a rather dark, depressing subject. I hope that we can put this idiotic dirty tampon fight between Jennifer Petkov and Rebecca Rose to rest finally and that little Kathleen will finally be able to rest in peace. I hope both families move on and I hope everyone else moves on and this rather sad story is remanded to the dustbin of history. Lastly, I hope that Jennifer Petkov has learned her lesson and never logs on to Facebook again, at least not with hatred in her heart towards anyone. Because as she has found out here in the last few years; that can be quite an unprofitable venture.

On a new episode of Dr. Phil airing at 5 p.m. Monday on WWJ-TV, the woman accused of taunting a neighbor’s child while she was dying of Huntington’s disease flat-out denies the allegation.

“Did you say, ‘I wish Kathleen would hurry up and die?’” Dr. Phil McGraw is seen asking Scott and Jennifer Petkov of Trenton in a sneak peek of the show. Jennifer Petkov is charged with trying to run over another neighbor and faces a court hearing next month.

“I have not done any of the things they’re accusing me of,” said Petkov, who’s been called ‘The Devil of Detroit Street.’

It’s a different story than the one Petkov told when she was first accused of parading up and down the street with a coffin in the back of a truck and creating a Facebook page with an image of young Kathleen Edward covered with a skull and crossbones.

“They’ve been called the cruelest couple in America,” McGraw said.

She did not do what she is accused of; yeah sure she isn’t. 🙄

Anyhow, I figure my hits are really going to go off the charts with this. Hopefully my new server will handle it. *gulp*

Breaking News: Rick Santorum’s daughter Bella admitted to hospital

The three-year-old daughter of Republican presidential hopeful Rick Santorum has been admitted to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and the candidate has cancelled his Sunday morning campaign events to be at her side.

Santorum campaign spokesman Hogan Gidley said Saturday night that the former Pennsylvania senator and his wife, Karen, were with Bella at CHOP. Gidley said Santorum planned to return to campaigning as soon as possible in Florida, where the Republican primary is Tuesday.

Bella Santorum has Trisomy 18, a genetic condition in which a child has a third copy of material from chromosome 18, instead of the usual two, causing a wide array of physical and mental problems.

Bella was not expected to survive until her first birthday – half of infants with Trisomy 18 do not survive their first week, according the National Institutes of Health. Some children have lived to their teenage years, but with significant medical and developmental issues.

The Santorums have been frequent visitors to CHOP with their daughter, and concerns over Isabella’s health have canceled previous Santorum campaign events.

During his campaign, Santorum and his wife have spoken openly about the challenges and rewards of raising a child with such a condition.

The Santorums have six other children; they lost a baby boy, Gabriel, shortly after his birth in 1996. Bella was born in 2008; two years later, Santorum wrote about her in an Inquirer column.

“All children are a gift that comes with no guarantees,” he wrote. “While Bella’s life may not be long, and though she requires our constant care, she is worth every tear.”

Of all my criticisms of the GOP field, this is not one of them. Rick Santorum is a good father to all of his children; especially Bella.

The only thing I will say, because I am fair and balanced type of a blogger; is that Rick Santorum should be grateful that he actually has healthcare to help take care of his daughter. Because there are many, like myself, who have no healthcare insurance at all. Not that I believe that it should come from the Government. However, I believe that Mr. Santorum should be a bit more mindful that there are some, that are not of his financial status, and their children would most certainly not be as lucky as Bella.

Having said all of that; My prayers go out to the Santorum family during this difficult time.  May the Lord Jesus hold Bella in the palm of his hand.

Breaking News — Senator Rand Paul detained by TSA

Rand Paul has been detained by the TSA for refusing a pat-down, after a x-ray showed an anomaly”

Kentucky Republican Sen. Rand Paul’s press secretary Moira Bagley tweeted on Monday that Transportation Security Administration officials were detaining her boss in Nashville, Tenn.

“Just got a call from @senrandpaul,” Bagley tweeted at about 10 a.m. on Monday. “He’s currently being detained by TSA in Nashville.”

Texas Congressman and current Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul – Sen. Rand Paul’s father – placed a post on Facebook about the news as well. “My son Rand is currently being detained by the TSA at the Nashville Airport,” Ron Paul posted. “I’ll share more details as the situation unfolds.”

Ron Paul adds, via Twitter, that the TSA detained his son “for refusing full body pat-down after anomaly in body scanner.”

Sen. Rand Paul’s Facebook page has a post about the incident too. “Senator Paul is being detained at the Nashville Airport by the TSA,” Sen. Rand Paul’s Facebook post reads. “We will update you as the situation develops.”

Sen. Rand Paul’s chief of staff Doug Stafford told The Daily Caller the Senator “was detained by the TSA after their scanner had an ‘anomaly’ on the first scan.”

To my libertarian and Ron Paul fans, please, do not freak out over this; the TSA were simply doing their jobs, I believe Rand Paul was released, but they would not let him fly on the plane he did try to board.

My friend, Ed Morrissey, who I do trust, weighs in:

No one thinks a Senator should get different treatment than anyone else, but that proves that the security theater we experience at airports isn’t designed with flight security as its primary goal.  Besides, let’s not forget that TSA is already working on programs for clearing frequent travelers on an expedited basis who they know through prior investigation won’t pose a security risk on commercial flights.   Who in their right mind thinks that Senator Rand Paul represented any kind of real security risk on board an aircraft?  Anyone? Anyone?  Bueller?  Bueller?

Now, it might look like it was intentional, but I very much highly doubt that was even remotely intentional at all.  I simply believe that the TSA wanted to do their jobs and Rand Paul refused to let them, and for this, he was detained and released and not allowed to fly. Let us not forget why the TSA put these regulations in place, on Christmas Day in 2009, an idiot kid from Nigeria blow himself up on a plane from Amsterdam to Detroit, Michigan; which by the way is my hometown and the airport that this almost happened at, is less than 10 miles from my HOUSE!

Anyhow, again, this might look bad, but I seriously doubt it is anything but Senator Rand Paul grandstanding against something that he feels is against his rights as a citizen. I personally disagree with that; I believe that safety of those flying here in America and abroad, should come first. Then again, I have never flown, nor will I ever. Too many planes crashing for this old man. 😯
