The Obligatory Van Jones 9/11 truther, Whack Job Commie Posting

Yes, I know about it. I also about the spinning and the denial.

To me, it just speaks of the inability of this White House Administration to properly vet its staff. I mean, it is pretty freakin’ bad when the Conservative Blogosphere is doing your job for you. It is truly pathetic.

There is not much, that I can add to what has already been said. I think Mr. Jones will be out by Tuesday at the latest.

You can read the round up on this one on Memeorandum.

Patrick Ruffini wants to raise Buckley from the dead

Patrick Ruffini lamenting that the Conservative movement is not being taken seriously by anyone, but maybe themselves laments:

Over the last few days, Jon Henke has laid out the case for the Right more strongly disavowing outfits like WorldNetDaily that actively peddle Birther nonsense. To the extent the mainstream Right has weighed in, it has been to urge Jon to ignore WND and move on, in the interests avoiding an intra-movement civil war. Some have even tried to subtly distance Jon from the conservative movement, saying his views don’t represent those of most conservatives. Many on the Right have made the calculation that however distasteful their views, a public fight with the Birthers just isn’t worth it.

As a fiscal and social conservative, I happen to think Jon is completely in the right here, both substantively and strategically. Don’t raise the canard that we ought to be attacking Democrats first. Conservatives are entirely within their rights to have public debates over who will publicly represent them, and who will be allowed to affiliate with the conservative movement.

The Birthers are the latest in a long line of paranoid conspiracy believers of the left and right who happen to attach themselves to notions that simply are not true. Descended from the 9/11 Truthers, the LaRouchies, the North American Union buffs, and way back when, the John Birch Society, the Birthers are hardly a new breed in American politics.

Each and every time they have appeared, mainstream conservatives from William F. Buckley to Ronald Reagan have risen to reject these influences — and I expect that will be the case once again here.

But there is another subtext that makes Jon’s appeal more urgent. As a pretty down-the-line conservative, I don’t believe I am alone in noting with disappointment the trivialization, excessive sloganeering, and pettiness that has overtaken the movement of late. In “The Joe the Plumberization of the GOP,” I argued that conservatives have grown too comfortable with wearing scorn as a badge of honor, content to play sarcastic second fiddle to the dominant culture of academia and Hollywood with second-rate knock-off institutions. A side effect of this has been a tendency to accept conspiracy nuts as a slightly cranky edge case within the broad continuum of conservatism, rather than as a threat to the movement itself.
Via Can We Have Buckley Back? | The Next Right.

However, the real reasons that the Conservative movement is in the shape that it is in, is found right in the comments section of “The Next Right”

First there’s this:

I don’t know if you consider them elites, but I did—and I suspect many Republicans did as well.

Peggy Noonan

David Brooks

David Frum,

And, last but certainly not least, Kathleen Parker.

At a time when we were trying to win the 2008 elections, this crew was bashing Sarah Palin full-time.  The time for bashing had past; the time for banding together to win an election was at hand.  And what did this crew of elites do?  Elites, thank you very little. You played no small part in the fact that we now have an administration that has abandoned our ally Honduras and is spending our grandchildren into poverty.

The real way Bill Buckley saved conservatism was by inspiring Ronald Reagan, Tommy Thompson, John Engler, Newt Gingrich and others to enter the political world.  You know—the place where we pick people that actually MAKE LAWS, instead of writing witty op-eds and appearing on Hardball.

Recently, we watched another conservative elite, Charles Krauthammer, tell the world that Sarah Palin was unfit to engage in the healthcare debate…at the same time that her “death panels” charge helped sway the tone of debate against Obamacare.

Sorry, but I’m less than impressed with GOP elites.  They stabbed us in the back in 2008. Fool me once..

….and then, there is this:

We didn’t abandon you during the election, you abandoned us by nominating a weak liberal republican and a semi-retarded christian fundy. I’m not going to change my views to “fit in” with the GOP if that’s the way they want to represent me.

During 2008, I was bashing McCain and palin ( as well as Obongo ). I will continue to bash these type republicans until they get out of my party.

I would say that both of these are basically correct. Not to mention electing and then reelecting a President who’s Wilsonian foreign policy forced him to invade a Country that had zero to do with 9/11. That is why McCain was not elected and, too, because black people actually voted in this election. Not say that there is anything wrong with that fact; just making a point. Also, Obama’s campaign was just better ran and his message more clear. John McCain was too damn busy suspending his campaign to look like a hero. Which actually made him look like an idiot. Hence the reason he lost also.

I could go on and on. However, I think you know what I mean.

Update: Robert Stacey McCain basically agrees with me about WND and the Birthers. Now McCain and Palin are another story. He loves that feckless Woman. I, on the other hand, think that she is an idiot.

Update #2: Around the Sphere has a round up on the subject, all the while ignoring me.

Steven Crowder asks – Are You a Homophobe For Not Supporting Gay Marriage?

Synopsis: Steven Crowder explains how reasonable people are facing unreasonable consequences for not supporting gay marriage and imagines what other parades would look like if they were more like gay pride parades.

Hmmmmm, Maybe the public option isn't so dead after all.

My Buddy Sammy over at “Yid with a Lid” has pointed out some interesting things about the so-called’ “Public Option. Looks like we should not break out the bubbly just yet:

* House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said she is firmly committed to passing a comprehensive healthcare reform bill with a public insurance option despite signals from top White House aides that the president may forge another path to gain bipartisan approval. “We can’t pass a bill without a public option,” Pelosi told reporters after speaking at a healthcare event hosted by the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce in her home district.

* The AFL-CIO drew a line in the sand today, saying a health care reform bill must include three specific elements — including a government-sponsored health insurance plan, or “public option” — in order to win their support.

* Democracy for America, the liberal advocacy group founded by former Democratic National Committee Chair Howard Dean, expects the president to reiterate his support for the public option when he addresses Congress next week, DFA spokeswoman Mary Rickles said. Meanwhile, she said, her group and its 400,000 members will continue to pressure members of Congress to back the proposal. “Any member of Congress who votes for a bill without a public option and against the wishes of the American people will stand alone for reelection,” she said.

* With or without any skeletons in their closet, members of Congress should feel pressured to vote for a public option if they want to keep their seats, argues the group the Progressive Change Campaign Committee.

* House Progressive Caucus co-chair Lynn Woolsey, D-Calif., said it will be a “grave error” for Congress to draft a health care reform bill that does not include a government run health insurance option and she believes there are enough liberal lawmakers to block its passage. Woolsey said she is setting up a meeting with President Barack Obama, who this week signaled that he would not insist that a public option be a component of the health care reform bill that is to be the crowning achievement of his first term in office. “The president must support,” a strong public option, Woolsey said, “and he must tell the Senate to get its act together.”

via YID With LID: The Public Option Isn’t Even MOSTLY Dead.

So, before everyone celebrates, keep vigil until after this bill officially dies. Because you know Democrats, you let your guard up for one minute and they will sneak something through, when we are not looking. Kudo’s to Sammy for pointing all this out to us. Good Job! 😀

Obama should really look into feeding his supporters

Otherwise, stuff like this here is just gonna keep on happening.

The Video:

The Story KTLA:

A 65-year-old man had his finger bitten off Wednesday evening at a health care rally in Thousand Oaks, according to the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department.

Sheriff’s investigators were called to Hillcrest and Lynn Road at 7:26 p.m.

About 100 protesters sponsored by MoveOn.org were having a rally supporting health care reform. A group of anti-health care reform protesters formed across the street.

A witness from the scene says a man was walking through the anti-reform group to get to the pro-reform side when he got into an altercation with the 65-year-old, who opposes health care reform.

The 65-year-old was apparently aggressive and hit the other man, who then retaliated by biting off his attacker’s pinky, according to Karoli from DrumsnWhistles, who attended the rally.

The man took his finger and walked to Los Robles hospital for treatment. Doctors reattached the finger, which was said to have been severed in half. He has since been released, according to a hospital spokesperson.

Neither man has been identified.

Ventura County Sheriff’s Capt. Frank O’Hanlon says the man had Medicare.

Sheriff’s officials are investigating the incident.

Seriously, Obama should at least provide food for his supporters of his Socialized Health-care plan. 😛

The Confederate Yankee says that Obama’s new Motto should be Yes We Cannibal! 😆

But seriously, I think there was wrong doing on both sides and the police should have a bit more attentive to who was where and what they were doing. The man who is against the healthcare bill should not have punched anyone and of course; the man took at bit too far biting the man’s finger off.

I think everyone and I do mean everyone; needs to take a step back and relax. The President is supposed to make an address and I believe that he is going to make it clear, that he is not going to push for the public option. Some are claiming that they are going to try and rename it. I highly doubt that to be the case, because President Obama is taking great heat for that proposal and I doubt that he or the Congress at this point, would try and sneak anything in, as they are quite aware that people are actually reading the bills.

But honestly….. Biting off fingers!?!?!? Eeeeewwwww! 😮 😯

YES! Political experts see double digit losses for Democrats in 2010 elections!

This is such a good thing to hear…:

After an August recess marked by raucous town halls, troubling polling data and widespread anecdotal evidence of a volatile electorate, the small universe of political analysts who closely follow House races is predicting moderate to heavy Democratic losses in 2010.

Some of the most prominent and respected handicappers can now envision an election in which Democrats suffer double-digit losses in the House — not enough to provide the 40 seats necessary to return the GOP to power but enough to put them within striking distance.

Top political analyst Charlie Cook, in a special August 20 update to subscribers, wrote that “the situation this summer has slipped completely out of control for President Obama and congressional Democrats.”

“Many veteran congressional election watchers, including Democratic ones, report an eerie sense of déjà vu, with a consensus forming that the chances of Democratic losses going higher than 20 seats is just as good as the chances of Democratic losses going lower than 20 seats,” he wrote.

At the mid-August Netroots Nation convention, Nate Silver, a Democratic analyst whose uncannily accurate, stat-driven predictions have made his website FiveThirtyEight.com a must read among political junkies, predicted that Republicans will win between 20 and 50 seats next year. He further alarmed an audience of progressive activists by arguing that the GOP has between a 25 and 33 percent chance of winning back control of the House.

via Experts see double-digit Dem losses – Josh Kraushaar – POLITICO.com.

This reason why this is such a good thing is this; because of this, I believe that the Democrats will abandon the idea of Nationalized Healthcare. The reason why these numbers are so high is this; The Democrats, as I have written many times before, have overreached horribly after the 2008 election. They saw this economic crisis and the abject failure of the Bush Administration, as a chance to push through their progressive agenda. There was one thing, however, that the Democrats did not plan on; resistance. That would be the resistance from the 42% of Americans that voted for John McCain.

These number simply prove what I have believed all along. That not everyone in America is lockstep with the progressive wing of the Democratic Party; and their Identity Politics, Post Racial-Racialism, and the general Chicago style of politics that this Presidential Administration’s modus operandi.

For Republicans, this is their chance, put seeing their spokespersons are Joe the Plumber and Sarah Palin. I do not expect much out of them; at least not in 2010.

The Taste of Success!

Recession? What Recession?

There might be one; but I’m not participating in it. 😀

Since the last time that Google Adsense sent me a check. This Blog has made $217.83 as of today. Recently, I received a payment of $179.25. I know what some of your thinking. You are most likely snickering at the amount. 😛

To be quite honest, that is pretty darned good for a newer Blog and a Political one for that matter. Not to mention a Conservative Blog that is totally independent and not affiliated with any sort of special interest group and one that has not done any real advertising.

My Hosting provider; Ryan Yaple, of EWF Media will be getting a PayPal payment from me for giving me the hosting for all this time. Just as soon as it is released to me, to transfer it to him. 🙄 Funny how slow that is.

One of the biggest and greatest rules of success in small business or in building a business; is celebrating one’s accomplishments. Even the small ones.

So, I did. I drove over to the local Meijer’s here in my local city and bought me a nice whole round, boneless steak. I went out back and fired up Dad’s grill and this was the result:

steak001

(Click the picture to make the Photo Bigger)

Another shot:

steak002

In case you cannot tell, that is two different pieces of steak there, and not one big one. Yes, I ate it all and yes, it was quite tasty. 😀

The real awesome part about all of this is this; I did not need the Government to give me a hand out to achieve all this. I did it all by myself. (With the help of a good friend of mine as well…) I earned the money from the advertisements the right way and not though scams or deceptions. All Because I dared to put up a Blog that criticizes the socialist politics of the B. Hussein Obama Administration.

A Round of Thank You’s

Again, A big thank you to my hosting provider, Ryan Yaple of EWF Media, who hails from Brighton, Michigan. Who felt sorry for me; when I got jerked around by a guy who thought it would be cool to take my money and then renege on a verbal agreement. Ryan, again, I will say it. You are the best that America has young man. That money will be in your hands, just as soon PayPal lets me have it! 🙄 😉 😀 😆

Another Big thank you is to my faithful readers; you know who you are. I see the site numbers and I see who reads what. Thank you for clicking the banner ads. Every little bit helps. Please note, that there is a PayPal donation button on here; it is on the right, at the top. Also, please note, that I have 3 ad spots on BlogAds. and 4 ad spots on Project Wonderful. Please, keep up your readership, and tell your friends about this site!

Well, it is nice to know that the UAE has our backs… I think

Although, many people do not know this or do not want to hear it. But much of the financing for 9/11 came out of the UAE.

Anyhow, there’s this:

The United Arab Emirates has seized a ship carrying North Korean-manufactured munitions, detonators, explosives and rocket-propelled grenades bound for Iran in violation of United Nations sanctions, diplomats said.

The UAE two weeks ago notified the UN Security Council of the seizure, according to the diplomats, who spoke on condition they aren’t named because the communication hasn’t been made public. They said the ship, owned by an Australian subsidiary of a French company and sailing under a Bahamian flag, was carrying 10 containers of arms disguised as oil equipment.

The council committee that monitors enforcement of UN sanctions against North Korea wrote letters to Iran and the government in Pyongyang asking for explanations of the violation, and one to the UAE expressing appreciation for the cooperation, the envoys said. No response has been received and the UAE has unloaded the cargo, they said.

The UAE and Iranian missions to the UN didn’t immediately respond to requests for comment. The Financial Times reported the weapons seizure earlier today.

via UAE Seizes North Korean Weapons Shipment to Iran (Update2) – Bloomberg.com.

This is what happens when you do the whole “Carrot and Stick” approach to countries like North Korea and Iran. They simply find ways to go around you.  I really believe that the United Nations really needs to rethink their strategy with Iran. Because it is obvious to this Conservative writer, that Iran has no intention of abiding by the rules.  I am not saying that it is time for war with Iran; not at all. At least not with our Country leading the charge. Because, in case anyone has not noticed, We are a bit occupied ourselves. I believe some of the other countries in that region need to step up and put a stop to this nonsense, once and for all.

Blackfive asks some very important questions:

Now this brings up all kinds of questions. How did the UAE find out? Did we know? Did we tell them? Inquiring minds want to know. Also how does this affect our global tyrant outreach project? Clenched? Unclenched? Hmmm

Those are some good questions. I would also like to know, who tipped off the Financial Times people? I also wonder, what will our feckless fearless leader’s next move will be? Because you know good and well that the Liberal base is not going to approve of him going into Iran or North Korea; even if Obama ordered a small support group to go in and assist any other countries that wanted to invade either Country, the base would totally turn on him. I mean, hell, the left is desperately wanting to pull us out of Afghanistan and Iraq; before the job is even done. They have been trying to do that for years. Do you think they would just sit idly by and allow President Obama to take us into another Military conflict? I do not think so. I mean, “Hope and Change” can only get a man so far.  Especially when it comes to the very far left. I mean, they’re already calling Obama a fascist in some quarters of the left as it is already.

Either way this is going to be a very interesting development and it will be interesting to see how Obama handles the situation and it will be interesting to see how the far socialist/liberal Left reacts to Obama’s actions.  I also would like to see what the Liberal Media’s reaction will be to this story and to how Obama reacts to it as well; will they be just as critical to Obama as they were Bush? or will they continue to give Obama the “free ride” that they have given him so far? It should be very interesting.

Next time a liberal tries to tell you that that communism is different, show them this

Take a listen:

That is none other than Democrat Rep. Diane Watson of California. The race-baiting bitch from hell.

Partial Transcript: (H/T Michelle Malkin)

WATSON: You might have heard their philosophical leader. I think his name is Rush Limbaugh. And he said early on, “I hope that he fails.”

Do you know what that means? If the president, your commander-in-chief, fails, America fails.

Now, when a senator says that this will be his Waterloo, and we all know what happened at Waterloo, then we have him and he fails. Do we want a failed state called the United States?

And remember: They are spreading fear and they are trying to see that the first president that looks likes me fails.

Now just understand what’s at the bottom line.

And you know we just got, 48 hours ago, we just go back, we were in Beijing, China, Hong Kong, China, we were in Taiwan, we were in Guam, we were all over the Far East.

I just want you to know: People look at the United States as a country that has changed its way and has elected someone from Kenya and Kansas, I’ll put it like that.

And they’re saying, “We thought you would never do that.”

So we don’t want to have this young man, and he just turned 48 — we want him to succeed, because when he succeeds, we regain our status. We regain our status.

It was just mentioned to me by our esteemed speaker, “Did anyone say anything about the Cuban health system?”

And lemme tell ya, before you say “Oh, it’s a commu–”, you need to go down there and see what Fidel Castro put in place. And I want you to know, now, you can think whatever you want to about Fidel Castro, but he was one of the brightest leaders I have ever met. [APPLAUSE]

And you know, the Cuban revolution that kicked out the wealthy, Che Guevara did that, and then, after they took over, they went out among the population to find someone who could lead this new nation, and they found…well, just leave it there (laughs), an attorney by the name of Fidel Castro…
