I think some fairness on critical theory on race is due

I notice InstaPundit brings this up, and yes, I believe that it is good to bring it up.

However, I think it is important to note that David Horowitz was also involved in those studies as well.

Don’t believe me? Here’s the video:

So, when I see people carping on the right about this; I have to laugh, because some of the right were involved with it too.

Here is the complete version of the video:

Good move: Romney and Obama scrub campaign events ahead of hurricane sandy

This was a smart move on both campaign accounts and I will tell you why.

But first the story via ABC News’s Blog, The Note:

AVON LAKE, OHIO – Mitt Romney’s campaign has canceled fifteen events over the course of several days as national attention turns toward Hurricane Sandy. Romney told a crowd in this critical swing state that the storm is a time for Americans to come together.

“We’ve faced these kinds of challenges before and as we have it’s interesting to see how American’s come together and this, this looks like another time when we need to come together all across the country, even here in Ohio, and make sure that we give our support to the people who need it,” Romney said to a crowd of thousands gathered in a school gym to hear him speak.

President Obama has also cancelled campaign stops. He returned to Washington D.C. Monday. Instead of attending a rally in Florida with former President Bill Clinton, Obama briefly spoke from the White House and told Americans to listen to local authorities during the storm. In total, Hurricane Sandy has forced the cancellation of 27 campaign events between the two campaigns.

The reason I believe that this was incredibly smart, on the part of both campaigns is this right here: If you are in the area where this hurricane is about to strike; the last thing you want to hear is two guys arguing over who should be President. Plus, it would be perceived as downright slimy of any campaign; Republican or Democrat — to try and cash in politically on a natural disaster.

Romney and Obama both are doing the right thing by telling everyone to come together and ride the storm out. It is a good political move.

Oh, and another thing; Hey, Gingrich, Shut the hell up, you opportunistic jackass! This stupid bullshit right here, is why you are not, nor will you EVER be a candidate for President of the United States!  If you remember, I did, at first, support this jackass for President; until he pulled a boneheaded move of playing the Jew-Card against Romney — not to mention the fact that his so-called documentary that was a hit piece on Romney was riddled with errors.

Way I see it; if Gingrich cannot do any better than that; he ought to just stay out of the goddamned election. Sorry, I just absolutely loathe those who use Hurricanes and other such of misfortune of others to score political points. Angry

A libertarian makes the case for Romney

Law professor Brad Smith, former Chairman of the Federal Elections Commission makes the case for Mitt Romney over libertarian party candidate Gary Johnson.

One of my reasons is Gary Johnson’s and I guess the Libertarian Party’s position on immigration and illegal immigration. Both believe in open borders. Sorry, but that’s just wrong.

Fox News: CIA Operators requested help in Libya, were denied

This looks bad, no matter how you slice it.

Via Fox News:

Fox News has learned from sources who were on the ground in Benghazi that an urgent request from the CIA annex for military back-up during the attack on the U.S. consulate and subsequent attack several hours later on the annex itself was denied by the CIA chain of command — who also told the CIA operators twice to "stand down" rather than help the ambassador’s team when shots were heard at approximately 9:40 p.m. in Benghazi on Sept. 11.

Former Navy SEAL Tyrone Woods was part of a small team who was at the CIA annex about a mile from the U.S. consulate where Ambassador Chris Stevens and his team came under attack. When he and others heard the shots fired, they informed their higher-ups at the annex to tell them what they were hearing and requested permission to go to the consulate and help out. They were told to "stand down," according to sources familiar with the exchange. Soon after, they were again told to "stand down."

Woods and at least two others ignored those orders and made their way to the consulate which at that point was on fire. Shots were exchanged. The rescue team from the CIA annex evacuated those who remained at the consulate and Sean Smith, who had been killed in the initial attack. They could not find the ambassador and returned to the CIA annex at about midnight.

At that point, they called again for military support and help because they were taking fire at the CIA safe house, or annex. The request was denied. There were no communications problems at the annex, according those present at the compound. The team was in constant radio contact with their headquarters. In fact, at least one member of the team was on the roof of the annex manning a heavy machine gun when mortars were fired at the CIA compound. The security officer had a laser on the target that was firing and repeatedly requested back-up support from a Spectre gunship, which is commonly used by U.S. Special Operations forces to provide support to Special Operations teams on the ground involved in intense firefights. The fighting at the CIA annex went on for more than four hours — enough time for any planes based in Sigonella Air base, just 480 miles away, to arrive. Fox News has also learned that two separate Tier One Special operations forces were told to wait, among them Delta Force operators.

There is a whole bunch more to this; so, I suggest you head on over and read the rest of that story.

Allow me to to be the one to say this; I said this early on twitter and I did not get any sort of reaction. So, I will just say it here. On top of the already obvious choice by the President to not allow these people to defend themselves, because of his fear angering Muslims and because he most likely empathizes with the radical Muslims and their cause — there is another huge elephant in the room as well. I publically accuse the President of the United States of America of allowing these four men, who worked at the American embassy in Libya —– to die — because they were white.

I am sorry, if this offends anyone, but the truth is the God-damned truth.

The President of the United States of America allowed these four men to die and would not allow them to defend themselves; because he is black and he harbors anti-white feelings. His attitude was basically this; those white guys are expendable. If those four men in Libya, had been black; President Obama would have been literally screaming from the rooftop of the White House for justice! However, because this is a situation with four White guys, the President could honestly care less. period, end of story.

If that was not bad enough, you have the Vice-President of the United States and the secretary of State acting like classless damned buffoons as well. Needless to say, November’s election cannot come fast enough and I believe this is going to cost the President dearly, in the form of the election. You simply do not allow people to die on your watch, and then expect to be reelected, it just does not happen.

If there ever was a reason for Mitt Romney to win this election; this is one of them. We need a new direction in this Country and we need it now. God, let Mitt win this one; so can get some self-respect back in this Country of ours and have a leader that makes decisions based upon an ability to lead and not…. race.

Another good reason this President has to go

This guy lived like king, while people like me, suffered.

For the record, I do not blame this President for my issues. My issues pre-dated him in the White House. But, it’s the optics of the whole thing. The story is good, however. Go read.

That’s okay, I doubt this President will get reelected; you don’t kick your base to the curb repeatedly and mock the Netroots and get elected.

Ted Turner said WHAT?!?!?!

Oh, no he did not! 😡

Oh, yes he did! 😯

The Video (via Human Events, H/T to Ed Driscoll)

Quote via Human Events:

In an interview with CNN host Piers Morgan last week, Media mogul and CNN founder Ted Turner said the fact that there have been more suicides than combat deaths in the Army this year is not “shocking,” but “good.”

Highlighted first by Breitbart.com, the Oct. 19 interview has Turner speculating that “it’s time to put war and conflict behind us and move on,” and the rising rate of self-inflicted troop deaths is good because it brings attention to that view.

Here’s the exchange:

TURNER: It’s time to put war and conflict behind us and move on, and start acting like civilized, educated human beings.

MORGAN: You made the point to me in the break there, more American servicemen have –

TURNER: — are dying now from suicide over there than are dying in combat.

MORGAN: That’s shocking, isn’t it?

TURNER: Well, what — no, I think it’s — I think it’s good, because it’s so clear that we’re programmed and we’re born to love and help each other, not to kill each other, to destroy each other. That’s an aberration. That’s left over from hundreds of years ago. It’s time for to us start acting enlightened.

Yessir! That right there is your modern-day liberal left in this Country. It is good the United States Military staff are killing themselves. It will help us all become more enlightened. Wow…..Just wow…. This is why I quit voting for them. 😡

Rightfully, Ed Driscoll rightfully points out:

I wonder what will happen to Ted Turner? Nothing, most likely, but just the same; is this what you want to vote for come November?

The Democratic Party’s resident useful idiot, Colin Powell, endorses Obama….again

This is not a not a big shocker, really.

Via CBS:

Colin Powell, Staying true to his roots

With 12 days to go before the presidential election, Powell publicly endorsed President Obama for re-election on “CBS This Morning” Thursday

“I voted for him in 2008 and I plan to stick with him in 2012 and I’ll be voting for he and for Vice President Joe Biden next month.”

Powell explained his choice to Charlie Rose and Norah O’Donnell:

When he took over, the country was in very very difficult straits. We were in the one of the worst recessions we had seen in recent times, close to a depression. The fiscal system was collapsing. Wall Street was in chaos, we had 800,000 jobs lost in that first month of the Obama administration and unemployment peaked a few months later at 10 percent. So we were in real trouble. The auto industry was collapsing, the housing was start[ing] to collapse and we were in very difficult straits. And I saw over the next several years, stabilization come back in the financial community, housing is now starting to pick up after four years, it’s starting to pick up. Consumer confidence is rising.”

Summarizing the past four years under Obama, Powell said “Generally we’ve come out of the dive and we’re starting to gain altitude.” He acknowledged that problems remain, saying “The unemployment rate is too high, people are still hurting in housing but I see that we’re starting to rise up.”

Turning to foreign policy, Powell said he saw “the president get us of one war, start to get us out of a second war and did not get us into any new wars. And finally I think that the actions he has taken with respect to protecting us from terrorism have been very very solid. And so, I think we ought to keep on the track that we are on.”

He goes on in this story to bash Mitt Romney and his policies. What gets me, is that the man just cannot be honest and say that he support President Obama because he is black. What is so hard about just saying, “He’s a black brother and I support him.”? It just does not make sense.

Of course, if a White man like me says this; then the left likes to yell, RAAAAACIST! Which is what they are truly good for anymore. Just ask Chris Matthews.
