Majority of voters say Obama has changed Country for worse, Says Hill Poll

There is a part of me that wants to say, “Well Duh!” But I shall refrain.

Via The Hill:

Two-thirds of likely voters say President Obama has kept his 2008 campaign promise to change America — but it’s changed for the worse, according to a sizable majority.

A new poll for The Hill found 56 percent of likely voters believe Obama’s first term has transformed the nation in a negative way, compared to 35 percent who believe the country has changed for the better under his leadership.

The results signal broad voter unease with the direction the nation has taken under Obama’s leadership and present a major challenge for the incumbent Democrat as he seeks reelection this fall.

Before you say, “Well, that is just Republicans!” Let’s read on shall we?

Strikingly, 1-in-5 Democrats say they feel Obama has changed the United States for the worse.

Compared to the sentiment about Obama’s impact, fewer people see presumptive Republican nominee Mitt Romney as a candidate who will change the country dramatically if elected.

Still, 50 percent of people think Romney will bring a “significant” level of change — a finding that may reflect the desire among anti-Obama voters for a reversal of the president’s policies.

Debate about Obama’s first-term legacy has intensified since the Supreme Court ruled the Affordable Care Act’s individual mandate to be constitutional.

The healthcare legislation, once fully implemented, would usher in the most sweeping changes to the nation’s social safety net since the 1960s.

The best come back that the Democrats can come up with, is to blame the Republicans for opposing the President’s polices. Which is idiotic, because the President and the Democrats had a majority in both houses of Congress, during his first term. The massive failure was the spending that was supposed to energize our economy; which ultimately fell flat.  However, as someone, who is not some sort of partisan hack; I happen to know what is killing or economy.

What is killing our economy is globalism; put simply, if someone knows that they can build a product in China, where they can get away with paying someone a dollar an hour, instead of the normal minimum wage here in America — they are going to do it. What needs to happen, is there need to be stiff tariffs put upon all imports into this Country. This would encourage companies to open factories here in America.  Critics of this idea say that would cause the price of everything to go up. Not if the President warned companies not to engage in price gouging.

This idea is nothing new, Patrick Buchanan; someone who has been maligned by the left and by some on the right, because of his controversial views on World War II and foreign policy —- has been saying this same very thing for years. Some people would argue that taxes on small businesses are causing the problems; which is idiotic at best, because the majority of small businesses in this Country do not even have an effect of the Nation’s gross domestic product. It is, in fact, the big businesses, which in fact, ship jobs overseas, that affect that GDP.

Another thing too that I feel the need to bring up; Obama should not be entirely blamed for this whole mess that we are in. The majority of the problems that we are facing today, were caused the idiotic Carter and Clinton Administrations.  I will give credit to the President; he did handle the mop up of the failures of President Carter and Clinton with such grace and class; instead of finger pointing at his own Party, he simply came in and fixed the problem. The President did point the finger at Bush; which is common in partisan politics. One thing that Congress and the President did fail to do is eliminate the Adjustable Rate Mortgage loan; which was the very thing that caused the entire meltdown in the first place.

As for this poll; put simply, The President of the United States was handed a flaming bag of crap on his first day —– and was expected make diamonds out of it. The President might be many things, but a miracle worker is not one of them. Some things just cannot be fixed with the wave of a hand; our economy is one of them.

…and offensive?!?!?!

Now THIS is offensive:

Says alot of truth really; but still, nonetheless, quite offensive. 😯

How is it, that Liberals can threaten to kill a White Conservative President and it is really no big deal. However, if someone simply mocks a black Democrat; who just happens to be the President, it is a major scandal? How does that work? Really, how does that work? 🙄

Just an example of the sick world we live into today.

Removing Support for Gary Johnson

As of today, June 7, 2012, I am officially removing my support for the Libertarian Party’s Candidate for President of the United States.

To be quite honest, I never was greatly impressed with Gary Johnson at all, I simply supported him, because I thought he was a sane alternative to the Republican candidate, Mitt Romney. However, after reading this interview, which I will quote and link to; it is obvious to me, that Gary Johnson and myself are not on the same page at all. Also too, Gary Johnson does not strike me as someone who is serious about even running for office. He also strikes me as someone who is, “on something,” if you know what I mean.

Anyhow, here is the interview excerpt that I wish to comment on:

Via Newsmax (Video at link):

Former New Mexico Gov. Gary Johnson, the Libertarian Party nominee for president in 2012, tells Newsmax the overriding theme of his White House candidacy is: “Say no to government.”

Johnson believes the United States should abolish the income tax and the IRS, end the war in Afghanistan and the war on drugs, cut tax loopholes and eliminate the jobs of half the lobbyists in Washington.

He also calls for a form of amnesty for illegal aliens in the country and the legalization of marijuana to stamp out violence along the U.S.-Mexican border.

See the parts that I underlined? That is my problem with Gary Johnson and because of that; I am removing my support for the man. I am sorry, but, illegal immigration with me, and legalizing of pot; well, that is just crazy talk in my humble opinion. Also doing away with the war on drugs; coming from someone who grew up in Southwest Detroit and someone who saw what drugs did to that city back in the 1980’s — I just cannot support such nonsense. Also too, that Drug problem in southwest Detroit? It is about twelve times as bad, than it was, when I lived down there.

In fact, let me relay a short story: In the 1980’s, when I lived in southwest Detroit. We had a drug dealer on our street. His name was Charlie, I have forgotten his last name. Anyhow, he lived down the street from me. He sold pot and I believe cocaine too. Anyhow, one night, a guy named Marty came wanting dope, and Charlie would not sell to him. I believe it was because Marty was already high. Anyhow, Marty, who was a guy who lived in the neighborhood; ended up cutting Charlie’s throat from ear to ear. All because Charlie would not sell him any drugs. Marty ended up going to jail for that murder and our neighborhood was never the same after that.

I said that above to make a point and that point is this; I am all for small Government, I am all for low taxes and breaks for small businesses. What I am not for is the removal of a thing that keeps this Country running —- Rule of Law.  There are those that feel that the removal of the rule of law would make this Country freer than it is now. I am sorry, but I happen to disagree with that. Anyone who has lived in the inner city and seen what drugs have done to those inner cities; knows that the war on drugs should in fact continue.

Because of that, I am now going to remove my support for Gary Johnson from this blog. I wish Gary Johnson the best, but I cannot support an idiotic platform such as his.

Video: About Allen West being called a “Bought Mother F****R

You had to know something like this was coming.

Here’s the video:

The Story via The Shark Tank:

You notice what this potty-mouthed dude has got in his hand? No, that is not a Popsicle! It’s a phone, with a camera.

After finishing his recitation of the Declaration of Independence during the city of Delray Beach’s Independence Day festivities, Congressman Allen West was verbally accosted  in front of a small group of constituents and media. West was just about to speak with a local TV station when he was interrupted by the lone detractor that seemed to have had one too many Miller Lites.

The individual flipped West the bird, and told him that he was a  ”bought Mother F*cker.” We stopped the guy and asked him why he had to use foul language in front of women and children.

He then proceeding to try to say that conservatism was the root cause of slavery and women’s suffrage.  Towards the end of the impromptu interview, we discovered that he is a ‘Bible Man’, citing the Bible and accusing yours truly of not reading the Bible, all while flipping me the bird. This video is priceless!

…and now my video reaction and analysis of what just happened here:

Mojo reports that Mitt Romney worked at company that disposed of dead aborted babies

I knew something like this would come up!

Earlier this year, Mitt Romney nearly landed in a politically perilous controversy when the Huffington Post reported that in 1999 the GOP presidential candidate had been part of an investment group that invested $75 million in Stericycle, a medical-waste disposal firm that has been attacked by anti-abortion groups for disposing aborted fetuses collected from family planning clinics. Coming during the heat of the GOP primaries, as Romney tried to sell South Carolina Republicans on his pro-life bona fides, the revelation had the potential to damage the candidate’s reputation among values voters already suspicious of his shifting position on abortion.

But Bain Capital, the private equity firm Romney founded, tamped down the controversy. The company said Romney left the firm in February 1999 to run the troubled 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City and likely had nothing to with the deal. The matter never became a campaign issue. But documents filed by Bain and Stericycle with the Securities and Exchange Commission—and obtained by Mother Jones—list Romney as an active participant in the investment. And this deal helped Stericycle, a company with a poor safety record, grow, while yielding tens of millions of dollars in profits for Romney and his partners. The documents—one of which was signed by Romney—also contradict the official account of Romney’s exit from Bain.

Read the rest at Mother Jones.

This will not help Romney one bit. I could sit here and yowl on about how much Romney likes money, more than Babies. But, honestly, I do not know that to be true and I just cannot and will not liable a man who I know nothing about. I did that sort of thing with Bush, when I was on the left, and you know what? I looked like an idiot for it. So, I am not playing the left’s game for them. I just believe that Christians would like to know about this, which is why I am publishing it.

A followup on an previous entry

Now before I begin this, let me state for the record, that this is not a walk back of any sort, but rather a followup to an older posting.

It appears that when I posted my entry titled, “It’s a damned shame” that I did not have all of the information related to what was going on.

It does seem that a particular person does have a bit of a problem; and that problem is hate. For the record; yes, I did check out his timeline and yes, I did see some stuff that, yes, even bothered me.

Let me also state that I am one of the most open minded persons in the World. I even have been known to stick my own size 12 foot in my own mouth during the heat of the battle and I have ended up apologizing for it afterward too.

However, when I see someone joking about one of the biggest players in the Jewish Holocaust and thinking that it is actually funny — that is a problem.  Please Note: I am not a rabid anything and I tend to keep in open mind. However, what happened during that time period is not funny or even something that should be even remotely joked about, at all. If one does this, it does, in my mind; bring into question one’s motives and — quite bluntly, their sanity.

Anyone that knows me and anything about my blogs that I have ran for the last 8 years; knows that I have been a “Tell it like it is, shoot from the hip” type of a guy. However, I also happen to be someone, who has a build-in moral compass. When that moral compass senses evil and wrong; I head in the opposite direction. This is what happened here and this is why I blocked said person mentioned in the blog posting linked to in this blog posting here. I also blocked a few of his friends too.

I tend to make a point to stay out of blog disputes and wars.  But, I do not wish to be associated with those who traffic in hate. Not after what happened to me a few years ago. No way, No how.

Don’t mince words now Mac, tell us how you really feel!

Remind me never, ever to upset Mac over at Macsmind:

Perhaps it’s just that Chief Justice Roberts is a fucking moral coward who should be brought before congress, drawn and quartered. There is no room on the court for such a spineless piece of crap.

Video: Glenn Beck says that the Legacy of SCOTUS decision on Obamacare is George W. Bush’s legacy

I ought the same thing earlier about the Obamacare ruling: (H/T to AllahPundit)

DrewM over at Ace of Spades is just as blunt:

Dear GOP,

This is your last chance. If you blow this, I’m out and you need to be destroyed.

What is it? Repeal ObamaCare on Day 1. Don’t worry about replace, don’t worry about anything else. We will do everything we have to drag your sorry asses over the line this fall, including electing Mitt Fucking Romney.

In return this is what you will do:

Instead of adjourning for pictures and tea and cake to celebrate getting your pathetic asses elected to 2 or 6 years on the government teet, you will immediately pass a one line bill that says, “The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (and whatever statute number has to be included) is hereby repealed.”

That’s it. Nothing more, nothing less.

Since Congress meets before Inauguration Day, Obama will still be President. Simply hold the legislation at the desk so the 10 day pocket veto clock doesn’t start. If other parliamentary BS is needed, just do it.

Then as soon as Mitt takes the oath of office, before his speech no one will care or remember, walk the bill up to him at the podium to sign.

If this does not happen, the GOP must be destroyed and a new party built to replace it. We’ve tried the carrot approach (votes, money, volunteers) to change your behavior. Now it’s time to show you the stick.

No more, “oh the other guys are worse” scare tactics. That might be true but it doesn’t mean you are any good.

This is your one job, do it or join the Whig Party in the dustbin of history.

I have to say that I do agree with all of the above. This is what happens when Conservatives and Republican settle for what they can get, instead of what they want to elect. I will say this, as the resident skeptical libertarian of the Blogosphere; if you all think that Mittens is going to rip out Obamacare, you are going to be in for a huge let down. Moderates always settle and compromise, they never take a stand, ever.

As I wrote earlier; from now until election day, is going to be very interesting.
