Chris Matthews just jumped on Keith Olbermann on the Air!

I do not have video yet, someone should have it, sooner or later.

But Keith Olbermann just did something to piss off Chris Matthews! and Matthews told Keith Olbermann off for it.

Something about a sound…

Did anyone else see it?

Comments PLEASE!

Video coming, as soon as I find it.

Stay tuned.

Update: Commenter Wes points to a Blog posting:

“9:15
Just got back from walking the dog. Amy has paused a segment on MSNBC where Chris Matthews gets snippy with co-host Keith Olbermann. This is classic. Apparently Olbermann was making fun of a long-winded diatribe by Matthews, and Chris just got testy with him right on the air.”

Here’s what happened, as far as I could tell. Matthews was going on and on about women feeling passed over because of Clinton’s loss. He was getting awfully sentimental. Then the producer apparently tried to get him to wrap it up, because he said “I’ll wrap it in a second, this is important” or something like that. So he goes on again and Olbermann starts the segue with some reference to the bloviation of “pundits like us” — which sounded like typical Keith self-deprecation, but I think Matthews took it as directed at him.

Interesting…. Still looking for video of it.

Update #2: Gawker now has video of it.

Update #3: Memeorandum finally picks it up. I one of the firsts who blogged on it! 😛

Update #4: and now we have video: (H/T Newsbusters)

This is why I need a good video capture system! 😀 Donations?

Let it go, Bill, Let it go…..

Bill Clinton just cannot shut up about his wife’s loss, can he?

Bill Clinton in Denver again undercuts Obama (TheHill.com)

Bill Clinton appeared to undermine Sen. Barack Obama again Tuesday.

The former president, speaking in Denver, posed a hypothetical question in which he seemed to suggest that that the Democratic Party was making a mistake in choosing Obama as its presidential nominee.

He said: “Suppose for example you’re a voter. And you’ve got candidate X and candidate Y. Candidate X agrees with you on everything, but you don’t think that person can deliver on anything. Candidate Y disagrees with you on half the issues, but you believe that on the other half, the candidate will be able to deliver. For whom would you vote?”

Oh like Hillary Clinton would be able to “deliver” on the issues any less than Barack Obama. Please. 🙄 That sounds a bit racist, if you ask me. he can’t deliver? Because he’s black?

This quote also struck me as funny as well:

Former Clinton aide and Democratic strategist Paul Begala, however, told The Hill that the former president is solidly behind Obama’s candidacy.

“He’s totally for Barack,” Begala said Tuesday. “He’s totally for Barack.”

Yeah, He’s for Barack Obama alright, he’s for Barack being strung up in a tree, with a noose.

I mean, What further prove do we need, that Bill Jeff is nothing more, than one of many racist bigots of the old school Democratic Party?

Sorry Bill, but your idiotic mouth gives you away, every time. Please, just go away. For good.

So Much for the Biden Bounce eh?

I guess that Biden bounce kind of fell flat.

Via Gallup Poll:

It’s official: Barack Obama has received no bounce in voter support out of his selection of Sen. Joe Biden to be his vice presidential running mate.

Gallup Poll Daily tracking from Aug. 23-25, the first three-day period falling entirely after Obama’s Saturday morning vice presidential announcement, shows 46% of national registered voters backing John McCain and 44% supporting Obama, not appreciably different from the previous week’s standing for both candidates. This is the first time since Obama clinched the nomination in early June, though, that McCain has held any kind of advantage over Obama in Gallup Poll Daily tracking.

The Charts:

080826DailyUpdateGraph1_hplmnbc

080826DailyUpdateGraph2_pytrwsd

The margin of error is 2%

So, I guess it is going to take more than just some old white man to convince the rest the America that Obama is the man for the Presidency.

It is quite obvious that Obama is really going to have his work cut out for him. Now I know, of course, that the convention will provide a bump in his ratings in the polls, but this does show that people are not as easily swayed as people might have thought.

It very much looks that way.

Oh Wonderful….

Oh wonderful… I wanted to be popular, but not like this. 🙄

Seems Conspiracy nut job, Alex Jones, has linked to my blog.

Great. Now I’ll have to weed out the nut ball comments. Good thing I moderate things around here.

Let me make this clear. I never threatened Alex Jones (Other than saying that I would defend myself from him, if needed….) or said that HE said that anyone should kill Michelle Malkin, I simply said he stalked her, Which is true. I also said his followers were saying “Kill Michelle Malkin”, which I found to be wrong later.

Personally, I think Alex Jones is a nut job. His 9/11 Conspiracy theories are just pure entertainment to me. One would have to disconnect their brain to believe his ignorance.

Oh Well, I wanted to be popular, and so, I guess I am!

As they say, there’s no such thing as bad publicity.

….but did I have to get it from Alex Jones?!?!?!??!

Can the Clintons get over it? They should.

Video (via Politico):

Quote:

Hillary Rodham Clinton is over it — at least when people are watching.

Within days of losing the Democratic nomination to Barack Obama, her aides said she was all business, returning to her Senate duties, telling people she would do whatever Obama asked her to do in the general election.

Bill Clinton is not over it. He’s trying, his associates say. He’s slowly getting to a better place. But his resentments from the bitter campaign battles of last winter and spring are many and diverse, and people who have spent time with him recently said they fester just below the surface.

As I have Blogged before on here. Hillary Clinton has baggage, Lots of Baggage. Obama simply did not want that sort of stigma on his campaign. He knew, for a fact, that if he had Clinton his ticket, that the Far Right Wing of the Republican Party would attack him for it.

The Clinton’s issues with Barack Obama are:

  • Obama has taken the minimum public steps necessary to accommodate the Clintons, including giving them prime-time speaking spots.
  • But he has taken few of the extra steps that Clinton allies say would have gone miles toward fostering goodwill.
  • He did not work hard to help her retire her $24 million campaign debt.
  • He did not make a high-profile statement repudiating any suggestion that Bill Clinton played “the race card” in the nomination contest — an allegation that the former president considers grossly unfair and that continues to infuriate him.

Well, can you blame him? There were a TON of tepid, awful and down right nasty things that she did. Let’s review shall we?:

Clinton saying that she didn’t think that Obama was a Muslim, as far as she knew.

The Video:

Her very stupid comment about her staying in the race, in case Obama is assassinated.

The Video:

Which drew this fiery special comment from Keith Olbermann:

There are a many, many more, but I think this suffices.

So, quite frankly, Senator Clinton is owned nothing, she, in her self centered attempt to try and divide this party, all in the name of feminism and identity politics. She has brought this snub by Obama and his followers all upon herself, despite her attempt to spin this, she is the reason that this is happened to her.

The best advise I can give Senator Clinton is to address the convention, release her delegates and simply fade away and hope that she is able to salvage what little reputation that she has left. Because quite frankly, she is nothing more than a hindrance to that Democratic Party.

Until this happens, the Democratic Party will continue to be the divided Party that it is. Which will do nothing more, but put another Neo-Conservative in the White House.

James Carville is a feckless ass…..

That’s right, I said it… and I’m proud of it.

Whining bald headed twit Carville, who was Bill Clinton’s campaign manager is whining.

Carville: Dems wasting first night (Via CNN.com)

“The way they planned it tonight was supposed to be sort of the personal — Michelle Obama will talk about Barack Obama personally, Ted Kennedy was a very personal, emotional speech,” Carville said. “But I guarantee on the first night of the Republican Convention, you’re going to hear talk about Barack Obama, commander-in-chief, tax cuts, et cetera, et cetera.”

“You haven’t heard about Iraq or John McCain or George W. Bush — I haven’t heard any of this. We are a country that is in a borderline recession, we are an 80 percent wrong-track country. Health care, energy — I haven’t heard anything about gas prices,” Carville also says. “Maybe we are going to look better Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. But right now, we’re playing hide the message.”

You know, you tell a man by his stripes, and Carville’s are is big as his pointed bald head. In case anyone has not figured it out. Carville’s just bitter because his gal Hillary did not win the Primary.

Mr. Carville, please, do America, the Democratic Party and yes, Hillary herself, and please, get the hell over it already!

I mean, I just do not understand why the hell people think that this women was even qualified to be President of the United States, I mean, seriously, what the hell has this women done, besides give Bill Clinton head in the White House? Yeah, she is a Senator. Big deal. So is Obama. I ask this, has anyone forgotten about The Waco Massacre? Has anyone forgotten about Peter F. Paul? The list goes on and on and is quite long.

The Hillary supporters simply need to get over it and themselves, and move the hell on, and try to avoid making themselves and their master Hillary Clinton from looking like a bigger buffoon that she does now.

I’m Paleo Pat and I approve this message. 😛

My Thoughts on Michelle Onama's Speech

I think she nailed it. Yeah, I will confess, I liked the speech.

Sure, it was filled with the “Liberal Line”. Sure, it was filled with feminism. Sure, it was filled with Ideology. Sure, it was filled with identity politics.

But you know what? She won the night. Between her and Ted Kennedy’s speech, the first night got off to a good start.

The very end, with the video feed of Barack and the kids, well, being kids, was the best ending ever. It humanized the Obama’s, it made them look like real people. It seriously put a big dent in that whole line of them being limousine liberals, who are out of touch.

Women in audience last night were bawling, hell, I was almost bawling! 😉 😥 😛

Will it sway voters? That will be determined in November, and of course, there’s the polls.

Overall, it was a good start to a convention. I look forwarding to covering the rest. 😀

Important Announcement: Chris Muir of Day by Day Cartoon needs our help

Folks, Day by Day’s Chris Muir, who is a awesomely talented Blog Cartoonist and a good friend of mine, needs a little help in the funds dept.

Quote:

Fundraising, Part Deux. This time, you get more than a Thank You.

Due to massive traffic, if your downloads are not successful, please email daybyday@daybydaycartoon.com. A code will be sent to you within 24 hours so you may download at your leisure when traffic eases up.

8 months ago, DBD readers met DBD’s year goal 2008 Fundraising goal of $20K in just 24 hours.

I had to stop it because you met the goal so fast! On that amazing day, $20K was deposited to pay for one year of DBD, as my main job covered the rest of the year’s costs of $26K.

In that Fundraiser I said if I could increase business and volume in both jobs, I can ask for less.
Unfortunately, technology finally ended my main job not more than a week after the Fundraiser, which left DBD my only income.

You all know I have continued DBD through some tough times, but I cannot escape economics. And to be honest, I am glad to be doing DBD fulltime for you, however grimly arrived at. But a fulltime DBD requires that other $15,336 be found somewhere (DBD is at 8 months right now).

You didn’t sign on to this. You met what was asked for in 24 hours flat. You met a goal that I said would carry DBD for a year. And now, not only do I have to ask again, but there must be a Fundraiser every year. In a time of free content, DBD will live or die by its value to its readers every day, every month, every year.

1031 people came through in the last Fundraiser; according to ‘The Long Tail’ theory of internet readers, there’s usually a core 1% that come through for internet publishers. All donations are critical, and I also ask again of that ‘1000’. Look what Leonidas did with the 300-except I don’t have a 6-pack, I’m not a leader, and the thought of all of you in G-strings frankly worries me a bit.

But we share the same beliefs, I think.

The site’s been redone, there’s a forum coming up, there’s an email subscription, searchable archives, new avatars, a new DBD banner that shows the strip in a popup (so you have more advertising space on your own blog),twitter, free Wowio DBD ebooks, and when you donate to DBD you receive pdfs of never released drawings of DBD’s start back in 1998 (yes, 2 years before DBD went up), examples of just how different Jan, Damon, Sam, and Zed were before 2001.

Depending on which of the 4 Donation Levels you select, there is also a DBD Playing Card deck, Sam posters, plus Original DBD hand-written script sheets complete with hand-signed strips that derive from those scripts.

That was the carrot, now for the stick, and…I don’t have a stick. I’ll still try & get DBD out.

I think you can tell from the strip that I’m something of a minimalist. I drive a Honda that was new when Arsenio was hot. My first vacation in 12 years, and I go to Iraq to research for the characters. This isn’t for sympathy, but clarity. I love doing DBD. Every hard-earned dollar you send here is for one purpose-to make it possible for me to improve and continue DBD for you (and me!).

In a PC correct era, DBD’s characters speak with you on issues you find important. PC still rules the MSM, whether newspapers, the networks, or well-funded ‘pundits’. DBD connects with people directly, the only comic where the readers are the source and the feature. You might depend on DBD, but the reality is DBD depends on you.

Help keep our voice out there. In one day, all of you got DBD more than halfway through 2008. Again, whatever amount is donated, I’ll give directly back in DBD strips.
And yes. This time I will leave the Fundraiser up for a month, not a day.

Chris Muir

I thought I’d share little story about Chris. Because mainly, I know it will embarrass the crap out of Chris. 😉 Anyhow, A while back, I was stuck on Blogger. I mess e-mailed a bunch of friends trying to see, if I could get a little financial assistance, so I could get some hosting. Want to know how many people helped? A whole bunch, Why? Because Chris not only donated to my cause, but he also made a custom strip telling of my situation. As a result, I raised enough, plus got a great offer on hosting. That offer didn’t turn out too well, But I did end getting very good hosting from a friend for basically free. Anyhow, I said all that, to say all this, Chris has been a really great person to me and I think that it would do the Blogging community well to support Chris’s strip.

Chris feels a lot like me, he hates having to ask for donations. I do not like to do it, because I feel there’s a strange stigma attached to it. However, his cause is quite the worthy one. Help Chris today. You can click on the paypal icon above, you click on the widget over there on the right.
