Hmmmm: Interesting major mea culpa on Iraq

Needless to say, this is quite interesting.

This remarkable CIA mea culpa, just declassified this summer and published here for the first time, describes the U.S. intelligence failure on Iraq’s non-existent weapons of mass destruction as the consequence of “analytic liabilities” and predispositions that kept analysts from seeing the issue “through an Iraqi prism.” The key findings presented in the first page-and-a-half (the only part most policymakers would read) are released almost in full, while the body of the document looks more like Swiss cheese from the many redactions of codewords, sources, and intelligence reports that remain classified even today, seven years after the Iraq Survey Group reported to the Director of Central Intelligence how wrong the prewar assessments had been. The key findings do not contain the most striking sentences; instead, these are tucked into the tail-end of the document. For example, on page 14, the assessment reports, “Given Iraq’s extensive history of deception and only small changes in outward behavior, analysts did not spend adequate time examining the premise that the Iraqis had undergone a change in their behavior, and that what Iraq was saying by the end of 1995 was, for the most part, accurate.” On page 16, going even further, the assessment says, “Analysts tended to focus on what was most important to us — the hunt for WMD — and less on what would be most important for a paranoid dictatorship to protect. Viewed through an Iraqi prism, their reputation, their security, their overall technological capabilities, and their status needed to be preserved. Deceptions were perpetrated and detected, but the reasons for those deceptions were misread.”

Most of those interviewed were good sports, answering questions about the trajectory of the country under Obama, the Affordable Care Act and even Socialism.

So much for all that so-called “New Tone” that we heard about during the election eh? I mean, this is just unbelievable. So, the next time some idiot liberal Democrat decides that he is going to lecture you on civility; show them this and kindly tell them to piss off. I mean, this is what the liberals do, they talk civility out of one side of their mouths and out of the other, they do stuff like this. It is a Anti-American shame and they should be called out on it.

These are President Barack Obama’s people and we should never let anyone forget that at all. This is what he and his Democratic Party goons feed on and thrive upon. This is what gets them votes.

I remember when Andrew Breitbart passed. I remember the shock and sadness that I felt at the time. I remember the T-Shirts and the art work that went out in his honor. I remember resizing it and putting it in my sidebar for a time. I remember how I felt, after learning that this man had died and how he left his children and wife. I remember thinking that the clue, that held the right together; this group of misfits, former lefties and oddballs was gone and that they — we — would start turning on one another — and you know what? I was right about it.

I also remember the vultures. All the people who came out of woodwork to capitalize on Andrew’s death. I found it to be sickening, to the point of me taking Andrew’s memorial artwork out of my sidebar. Because I did not want to be associated with the creeps who are profiting off the back of a dead man. I believe capitalism is a beautiful thing, when it is done properly and with integrity; but when it is done at the expense of someone else’s misfortune, I have no use for it. I said nothing at the time, it was none of my business really. I figured if the Andrew’s family did not care, who was I to say anything?

The truth is that I know absolutely nothing about the man mentioned at the link above. All I know is that the Conservative world is about a damned freak show at the moment. Larry Sinclair is a gay man, who supposedly had sex with or gave oral sex to President Obama. Now, he is supposedly a Conservative; funny that eh? Then there is this idiot who started an unauthorized fund for the Breitbart family and then started a Blogger’s defense fund. This same man has a name that sounds eerily similar to the saying that was shouted by the terrorists, as they slammed the planes into the World Trade Center in 2001. I have not forgotten about that little incident either. I am an American, and that was an attack on my Country —- This is, by the way, somewhat a wound of mine and it is still very fresh in my mind. I have not forgotten, nor will I ever.

So about all of this above, I have one thing to say about what is happening on the right, at the moment: It is nothing more than a damned three ringed circus. A circus that I would just damned well stay as far away from as I can. I have no interest in these people, what the hell they do or how they act. I never sent them a dime and I could quite honestly give a tinkers dam what they do or who they are doing it too. Why I see it, if people were or are that gullible to send this four-eyed foreigner any sort of money, without checking his background or into the integrity of what he was or is running; then they deserve to get taken for a ride. You say he is an American? Not with that kind of a name he isn’t, not in my book. racist? No. Just a damned realist. He is a Christian? Not the kind of Christianity that I grew up in.

In closing: To those who have been e-mailing me these stories and yes, there have been a few of you. I have this to say to you. If these people, and yes, there are a few of them; are defrauding anyone, it will come out, eventually. The arm of justice is slow and sometimes, it does not do things the way we think that it ought to, but eventually it does come down on those who are dishonest. If someone who is involved with this fraud is working with Romney, it will come out, eventually. Hopefully before the election and he leaves the campaign.

So, there, you have it. My opinion.

Why I do not really care if Michelle Obama lied in her speech or not

I will explain why it is that I really do not care, but first, here’s Breitbart’s boy’s yowling away:

I have known for sometime now that the Democrats are pretty much habitual liars. I mean, they literally blew the housing market up; and then proceeded to blame the Republicans for the entire mess. The Republicans, while telling the truth about who blew what up, just sat and blamed the other side; instead of fixing it and they also bailed out the very banks that created the entire mess. To be fair: So did Obama. 😀
I have also known for a very long time, that the silly idea of the political leaders, especially on the Democratic side, were actually looking out for the little people — was nothing more than a very well-executed lie. The only thing that the political class is looking out for, are two things; their careers and votes. The Democrats get them by giving lip service to minorities and poor people. So, if they’re looking out for you, you should vote for them. 🙄 The Republicans get them by coddling crony capitalists and business owners of various stripes.

So, there you have it, the reason why I am just not getting excited about this newest outrageous outrage on the right. Do not get me wrong, there are many things that I do have against the Democrats, but this here, is just not one of them. We have more important things to worry about and many other things that we can remind the America people of, about the Democrats. This here is just not one that I care to even remotely worry about. 🙂

DNC changes course on God and Israel

This has become a disaster for the Democrats and a boon to the Romney campaign. The DNC has now added God back into their platform language after originally taking it out. They have also added language back in that says Jerusalem is the capital of Israel. When they tried to change the language on the convention floor, there were boos! Oy-gevalt.
Despite the corrections by the Democrats, the Romney campaign can now argue that the Democrats don’t know what they believe on two very important topics. They can also argue that the Democrats only did this because of the pushback. That’s true. The Brody File first pointed it out and the media followed, making this a story that the DNC wants to make go away. The problem is it’s not going away. Expect the Romney campaign to push this until Election Day. These last second changes really just make the issue worse and make the Democrat Party look bad.
In a way it’s unfortunate for the party because speakers at the DNC have been talking about God from the stage and there have been plenty of faith-filled events down here in Charlotte. But party officials should have known this would get scrutinized. The issue is either political malpractice or something far worse.

The straight dope on Me and Alex Brant-Zawadzki

I am posting this entry for the benefit of the those who might be searching and might want to put me into cahoots with the left.

This is my total involvement with Mr. Alex Brant-Zawadzki. I wrote a few blog postings here recently, about some people in the blogosphere. On one of them, Mr. Alex Brant-Zawadzki showed up in my comments section. Anyhow, he came here and left a comment; and surprisingly did not break any rules. I knew he was a Democrat, and I was civil and fair to him. This is how I treat anyone who comments on this blog. My treatment of people who comment here is not partisan based at all. If you can come here and not troll and act like a “richard-head.” I will give you a fair shake.

Yes, I am fully aware of what Mr. Alex Brant-Zawadzki has written around in various places; I also know what has been written by others, about him. For the record, I do not, as they say, “have a dog in the fight.” Personally, I think it is all a bit silly, if you ask me. But, again, that’s politics and that is why I tend to just keep to myself anymore.

Let the public record show, that I did not divulge any information that I would not yell at the top of my lungs on the street corner. Mr. Alex Brant-Zawadzki did write me an e-mail or two, and I wrote him back. If you really must know; I did ask him, if he could get me a writing gig over at Huffington Post. I wouldn’t mind blogging there. Heck, everyone else has, and I have been writing since 2006, I figured, I have earned my dues out here. Mr. Zawadzki told me he would try to talk to someone about it. Although, between you and me; I doubt anything will become of it. Besides that; I like having my own site. Blogging there, would be, well, someone else’s site.

So, there you have it, the God’s honest truth about what happened with me and this fellow. I did this, before the fault finders start accusing me of stuff that never happened.

All the above is the absolute truth, so help me God.

The Democratic Party has actually become the Godless Party

This is unbelievable and never would have happened as recent as the 1990’s.

The story via David Brody over at CBN NEWS:

Guess what? God’s name has been removed from the Democratic National Committee platform.
This is the paragraph that was in the 2008 platform:
“We need a government that stands up for the hopes, values, and interests of working people, and gives everyone willing to work hard the chance to make the most of their God-given potential.”
Now the words “God-given” have been removed. The paragraph has been restructured to say this:
“We gather to reclaim the basic bargain that built the largest middle class and the most prosperous nation on Earth – the simple principle that in America, hard work should pay off, responsibility should be rewarded, and each one of us should be able to go as far as our talent and drive take us.”

It is not only God; but it is Israel too. The Washington Free Beacon reports:

For Jerusalem, the new platform has been brought into line with the Obama administration’s policy of not recognizing Jerusalem as Israel’s capital and supporting its division. Jerusalem is unmentioned in the 2012 document, whereas the 2008 and 2004 Democratic Party platforms declared “Jerusalem is and will remain the capital of Israel…It should remain an undivided city accessible to people of all faiths.” The Obama administration’s refusal to recognize Jerusalem has been a point of significant controversy in recent months.
On the issue of Palestinian refugees, the new document has removed language from the 2004 and 2008 platforms specifying that Palestinian “refugees” should be settled in a future Palestinian state, not in Israel.
The 2004 platform: “The creation of a Palestinian state should resolve the issue of Palestinian refugees by allowing them to settle there, rather than in Israel.”
The 2008 platform: The peace process “should resolve the issue of Palestinian refugees by allowing them to settle there, rather than in Israel.”
The 2012 platform contains no language on the matter.
Previously, Obama has incorporated the Palestinian positions on Jerusalem and borders into his administration’s policies. It appears that with his party’s new platform, he is also doing so with refugees.
Gone as well is the language from 2008 on the terrorist group Hamas, which currently controls the Gaza Strip. That platform declared, “The United States and its Quartet partners should continue to isolate Hamas until it renounces terrorism, recognizes Israel’s right to exist, and abides by past agreements.”
The 2012 platform contains no mention of Hamas.

Mitt Romney did weigh in on this:

UPDATE (2:39 p.m.): Mitt Romney released a statement Tuesday afternoon, criticizing the Democratic platform for removing the Jerusalem language:
“It is unfortunate that the entire Democratic Party has embraced President Obama’s shameful refusal to acknowledge that Jerusalem is Israel’s capital. Four years of President Obama’s repeated attempts to create distance between the United States and our cherished ally have led the Democratic Party to remove from their platform an unequivocal acknowledgment of a simple reality. As president, I will restore our relationship with Israel and stand shoulder to shoulder with our close ally.”

Okay, now for my thoughts. Now, as everyone who reads my blog knows that recently I removed my blog’s “I stand with Israel” banner, because of the actions of a well-known Jewish-American blogger towards me and because of things said about Ron Paul by Jews, which I did not believe was fair to him and his legacy. However, that should not be interpreted by anyone, least of all the Jewish community that I dismiss the idea of a Jewish State or even harbor hatred towards Jews at all.

What I can tell you is this; this tossing of Christianity and Israel under the proverbial bus, might just be the death knell of Obama’s campaign and the Democratic Party as we know it. Because there are many people, Left and Right; who still love Israel and the Democratic Party’s basic tossing of Israel and the Christian communities under the bus like this, might just be a bridge too far for some people.

There are many people, yours truly included, that have felt that the Democratic Party has far strayed from its moorings; from that that party that it was in the 1940’s during the Roosevelt and Truman era. It is sad thing for me to have to actually write; but the Democratic Party is just no longer my Grandfather’s Party or mine for that matter. They have drifted much to far away from what I recalling reading about and admiring.

President Ronald Reagan said it best, “I did not leave the Democratic Party, they left me.” Sadly, they have left me too and now, they’ve left Israel and Jesus behind too. Progression, you say? More like regression, and ultimately ——— undoing.
