Trump leads Clinton by a point in new poll

2016_General_Election_Vote_Preference_10-31-16While vote preferences have held essentially steady, she’s now a slim point behind Donald Trump — a first since May — in the latest ABC News/Washington Post tracking poll, produced for ABC by Langer Research Associates.

Forty-six percent of likely voters support Trump in the latest results, with 45 percent for Clinton. With the data taken to a decimal for illustrative purposes, a mere 0.7 of a percentage point divides them. Third-party candidate Gary Johnson has 3 percent, a new low; Jill Stein, 2 percent.

The 1 point Clinton-Trump race is well within the survey’s margin of sampling error. Combining the last seven nights — across which results have been very stable — the results flip to 46 percent Clinton, 45 percent Trump, with a 0.4 point gap. Again, it is not a significant difference.

Trump’s 1 point lead is a noteworthy result; he has led Clinton just once before, up 2 points in late May (among registered voters in a two-way test), after he clinched the GOP nomination while Clinton was still in a duel with Bernie Sanders in the Democratic race.

Although the election is close at this point, vote preference results a week out are not necessarily predictive of the final result. Mitt Romney was up 1 versus Barack Obama in comparable tracking poll results in 2012, for example, and John Kerry was ahead by 1 versus George Bush a week out in 2004.

I guess people are finally waking up to the fact the Hillary Clinton simply not trustworthy enough to be in the White House. I mean, could you just imagine, that woman being President? Surprised smile

If Hillary Clinton is elected, the email scandal, the pay-for-play scandal involving the Clinton Foundation, “Bill Clinton, Inc.,” the truthfulness of her testimony, and reports of Clinton-paid dirty tricksters engaging in brownshirt tactics at Trump rallies, are all going to be investigated more thoroughly by the FBI.

And if Clinton is president, there is no way her Justice Department can investigate the Clinton scandals, any more than this city in the early 1970s would entrust an investigation into Watergate to the Nixon Justice Department.

If Clinton wins this election, and Republicans hold onto one or both houses of Congress, investigations of the Clinton scandals will start soon after her inaugural and will go on for years. And the clamor for a special prosecutor, who will, as Archibald Cox did with Nixon, build a huge staff and spend years investigating, will become irresistible.

Realizing that this is the near-certain fate and future of any Hillary Clinton presidency, and would be disastrous for the country, Sunday night, Doug Schoen, who worked for President Clinton for six years, said he has changed his mind and will not be voting for Hillary.

Donald Trump says this is worse than Watergate. As of now, it is only potentially so.

But if Hillary Clinton, this distrusted and disbelieved woman, does take the oath of office on Jan. 20, there is a real possibility that, like Nixon, down the road a year or two, she could be forced from office.

Do we really want to go through this again?

Pat Buchanan is correct, this would a disaster for the Country. This woman needs to be defeated and I mean badly. I really do not understand why the Democratic Party even took this woman seriously. I guess it is name recognition or pedigree. But, it is and will be a disaster.

Clean up on the blog aisle!

Looks like the WordPress theme that I was checking out and thought was a good one, decided to wink the dashboard on me. I logged into the back end of the blog here and seen that my theme, which was called Fluida, was needing an upgrade.

So, I did the upgrade.

…and that my friends is when it all went to dogs, in a big hurry! The theme started tossing errors, many errors! Disappointed smile This is when I knew that I needed to go back to the old theme. Which I did.

So, we’re back here again. Smile

Pudgy older fathers live longer, are more attractive to the opposite sex and are better at passing on their genes than their leaner counterparts, scientists have claimed.

Becoming fatter after fatherhood due to decreasing testosterone levels may not fit the “macho” ideal, but it actually prolongs lives and strengthens immune systems, according to Richard Bribiescas, professor of anthropology and deputy provost at Yale University.

There is evidence that these men are less likely to suffer from heart attacks and prostate cancer, while a study in 2008 found that men with high metabolisms were around 50 per cent more likely to die in a given year than those whose bodies burned up less energy at rest.

9 days before the election

I really know that I have just not been writing here as of late. I am really just not into politics, like I was. This election is nothing more than a glorified clown show! I just not sure who is the bigger clown. 

So, I have decided to at least run down what is happening 9 days away from the election.

Good News: FBI reopens investigation on Clinton Emails

This is very good to hear:

WASHINGTON — FBI Director James Comey said Friday that investigators had found new emails related to the bureau’s previously-closed inquiry into Hillary Clinton’s handling of classified information, re-starting a long-simmering debate over the Democratic nominee’s conduct as secretary of State in the closing days of a presidential campaign that Clinton appeared to be putting away.In the letter to senior lawmakers explaining his decision, Comey said “the FBI cannot yet assess” whether the information is “significant” nor could he offer a timetable for how long it will take investigators to make an assessment.Comey wrote that the discovery of additional messages had occurred “in connection with an unrelated case,” leading to the decision to resume the probe. The subject of the unrelated inquiry was not disclosed in the brief letter.

I’m starting to think that Amanda Carpenter needs to become a Democrat

Because I hate to say it; but, she sure is starting to sound like one. she’s allowed her hatred of trump to cloud her judgment.

Look, I don’t like what Trump has done no more than anyone else; especially the attacks on Amanda. But for her to put out an article like this, is starting to make her sound like a whiny feminist liberal.

I don’t believe that Amanda should have been treated like she was. However, politics is a rough sport, it’s a contact sport and sometimes people’s egos get bruised and things happen. She should have known this, when she got involved with political punditry and got involved with government. So,the way I see it: if she can’t handle the heat, she should maybe perhaps look into getting out of the kitchen.

If I wrote about all the times, that I was attacked, not only by the liberal Democrats; but by so-called conservatives, also known as neoconservatives; over some of the things that I’ve written on my blog and have been accused of being a racist, an anti-semite and an islamophobe and many other ridiculous accusations. I would be here writing all night. Did I angry and pooch my lips out and say, “they’re picking on me!”  No, I didn’t. I sucked it up and dealt with it.

Perhaps Amanda Carpenter should look into doing the same thing or get the hell out of political pundity for good. Nobody is entitled to anything; least of all some little harpy feminazi who thinks that she ought to be treated special, because she’s a woman.

It is amazing the people who will not heed this warning. I never did, when I was younger. I always thought to myself, “Diabetes? That’s an old people disease.” Well, here I am 44 years old, a type 2 diabetic and you know what? It is a real danger, to ones life. Here is hoping that young people today, are a bit smarter about all of that, then I was. 🙁

 

 

This is not going to end well for the Republican Party

Good morning from Detroit.

I am awake very early this morning and I happen to be looking over the headlines here on Memeorandum.

I happen to be reading and looking at these headlines here and I cannot help but think that if, by chance that Donald Trump loses this election; that the Republican Party is going to be totally in a state of shambles for a very, very long time. I mean, even the Wealthy are now looking elsewhere and in a Republican election, that is bad…very bad. I mean, I hate to sound like a “Debbie Downer”, but this really does not look good for the Republicans at all. Because folks, let us just face the facts — There are more wealthy Republicans, than there are grassroots conservatives. The majority of the Conservative Christian Right, is presumably staying home, at least the ones I know.

The reason I say it is not looking good for the Republicans, is that they have totally invested themselves into basically a clown, a showman, an egotistical blowhard — who sues anyone that dare criticizes him. You cannot say, that the Republicans did not try, they did and it was a very valiant effort. But, you would think that they would have selected someone a bit more serious, than who they picked. Ted Cruz was dangerous. But, there were others, Rand Paul, Christie, a few others. Instead we go who we got and now we’re looking at 8 years of a criminal pantsuit.

 

Stolen Elections

I have to say that all of this talk about stolen elections, is quite silly. It also reminds me of something that happened in 2000. When Bush ran for election and actually beat Al Gore. I seem to remember that the left, went into utter meltdown and claimed that the election was stolen and that somehow or another Bush and Co. had arranged for the election to be decided in his favor.

This is why, when I hear about Trump supporters saying that the election will most likely be stolen from Trump; I find it to be most annoying. Because it frankly reminds me of the liberal left in 2000.

Which brings me to my point; why are the so-called “Trump Conservatives” using the same playbook as the anti-Bush crowd of 2000?

The truth is that, if Trump loses this election; it will be because of his own actions and because the Republican Party and the people behind the Trump campaign did not properly vet Donald Trump and take steps to lower the impact of things in his past. It was not the bankers fault, it was not the media’s fault and it damned sure is not Hillary Clinton’s fault. It is the fault of Donald Trump and the Republican Party of not properly vetting a candidate.

So, to the Trump campaign and supporters: Stop blaming the Jews, the media and the Republican Party. It is not their fault. It the fault of those who are supposed to be doing their jobs and making sure that no surprises came out, during the last months of the campaign. The only person to blame, is yourselves. This is on you.
