They are actually doing it again. Building up for another war. This time it might last for a very long time.
The story:
The United States has sent Apache attack helicopters to Iraq as part of the buildup in U.S. military personnel, the Pentagon said Tuesday.
Officials would not say how many of the armed helicopters have been sent to the country, stating only that they will be based in Baghdad and could assist with evacuations of American personnel.
The Pentagon also sent over additional surveillance drones.
President Obama on Monday sent 200 additional U.S. troops to Iraq to protect diplomatic facilities and personnel amid growing fears that Sunni militants in the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) could overrun the country. The order brought the total number of U.S. ground forces in Iraq to 750.
On Monday, the State Department announced it was relocating some of its personnel from Baghdad.
Pentagon Press Secretary Adm. John Kirby declined Tuesday to say whether the situation in Iraq was getting better or worse, but said Iraqi forces in and around Baghdad are preparing to defend themselves.
“We have seen Iraqi security forces in and around Baghdad begin to reinforce themselves and prepare to defend, and they are taking the offensive. And we saw this over the weekend up near Tikrit. So it’s a contested environment right now,” Kirby said.
“The situation on the ground continues to change. It’s very fluid. It’s dynamic. The threat to Baghdad is still very legitimate. And we also want to make sure that we are doing what we can to help our colleagues in the State Department continue to function out of the embassy there and to have the flexibility, if they want to make resource and manning changes there, that we’re able — we’re in a position to help them do that,” Kirby said.
It looks like the Neoconservatives and the war party have won again.
I really hate having to write postings like this; but, because I am a man of principle, I must.
I took the regretful step of removing Lew Rockwell’s website and blog from my blogroll. Folks, I like Rockwell’s writings, when it comes to fiscal policy and I happen to agree with them. However, when it comes to the military, Rockwell and his fellow writers over at his website and blog, make me want to wretch. Even today, there was a short blog posting about the military that I happened to find most offensive.
I had removed Rockwell’s site from my blogroll once before and ended up putting it back; because I felt that I might have acted hastily and in an act of anger. However, since reading his site more; it is clear to me, that Rockwell and his writers are of the anti-military mindset and to me, as an American Nationalist, that is just a bridge too far.
I will also be removing Mr. Rockwell’s site and blog from my RSS reader. Because, quite frankly, I simply do not wish to read the site of someone who holds to, what I consider to be Anti-American views, when it comes to the Military.
Sometimes being a man of principles, can be and often is a very painful thing. 🙁
Before I get into this, there is one thing that you must know about me; and that is that I read many different opinions and trains of thought. Not so much on the left anymore. About the only thing that I can stand to read on the left anymore are NPR’s all things considered, Jim Hightower, Juan Williams, and Democracy Now! — mainly just to see what the left is whining about at any given moment.
Now as for the right; I do read a good deal. I read quite a bit of Conservative opinion; most of it is mainstream stuff, I do also read much of the alternative right’s writings as well. I also read stuff that would send most mainstream conservatives scurrying for the exits. Why? Because I like to know what makes people tick; I like to know what these people think and why they think them. It is called being observant. It is also a good trait of being a good writer. This does not mean that I actually agree with everything that they say, I just want to know what makes them feel the way that they do.
Which is why, when I came across this article by The Occidental Observer, itself a white nationalist online publication; I found it to be keenly interesting and to be a perfect example as to why there is a distinct difference between American Nationalism; of which I happen to be a supporter of and white nationalism — which is basically an avocation of freedom for people of white skin and fascism towards those without white skin — which basically is what white nationalism stands for. Not to mention an irrational hatred and scapegoating of Jews. Now, it is one thing to have an issue with leftist Jews; who are having a negative impact with their cultural Marxism of its many incarnations. However, a general irrational view of Jews in general strikes this writer as moronic at best.
Now my quoting of this article is going to be lengthy. First, let me open the scene a bit here; this writer is talking about the worst dead conservative writers. The writer of this piece mentions William F. Buckley. Now I happen to agree with his assessment of Buckley. Buckley was an establishment figure; something that the John Birch Society has made quite known long ago. Buckley even read the book and said that it was very well done —- much to the surprise of the John Birch Society. The establishment status of The National Review magazine continues today. Which is no big surprise.
Anyhow, this article at The Occidental Observer, takes broad swipe at Robert Welch, the founder of the John Birch Society, itself named after a Baptist Missionary who was killed by communist gorillas in China. The following quote is from the The Occidental Observer:
Welch — surrounded by Jews and financed by them — worked a different market: people who were more gutsy and less constrained by published opinion.
The idea that Buckley as an agent of the System’s political police was going to “stop history in its tracks and tell it to turn around” (to use his self-description of National Review) is something only the hopelessly naive could entertain.
Re Mr. Welch, young people are probably too dismissive of the John Birch Society. JBS gobbled up and wasted probably well over 100 million dollars. In its heyday it was not what it later became — a collection of marginalized people of little influence.
Chief Justice Rehnquist was a John Birch Society member back in the early 60s. That this little factoid didn’t become an issue in his confirmation hearings or in the media tells you that the System had a soft spot in its heart for him. And wisely so. In one of his opinions as an aside he went out of his way to say that he thought Beauharhais vs. Illinois was good law. This was a Supreme Court decision in 1952 that upheld a Canada-style law in Illinois making it a crime to say something that exposed an ethnic group or race up public contempt. Beauharnais (that may not be the exact name) was convicted and jailed for publishing statistics on the differential venereal disease rates between Whites and Blacks.
Several hundred thousand people were put through the Birch scam. They signed up. They were indoctrinated by the Society primarily to believe that race didn’t matter, that nationality didn’t matter (Welch used the term “Americanist” in lieu of “American” in his most repeated mantra that appeared on the covers or in the prefaces of the Society’s books — “American” wasn’t universalist enough for Welch), that anti-Semitism and “racism” were the hallmarks of Communist agents .
The Birch initiates were shorn of significant amounts of money. They were fed a world view in which all our problems emanated from a small group of consciously evil conspirators meeting in a basement in Ingolstadt or Frankfurt. All problems would have been nipped in the bud if someone had just called the police and raided Weisshaupt’s cellar or the Frankfurt School. Completely bamboozled on race and Jews. Totally emasculated.
The standard fare of “exposing” the bad guys and their myriad successful evil doings eventually demoralized the Birch member. He became depressed. Gave up. Dropped out. But the innoculation against “racism” and “anti-semitism” took. No danger from such people. In fact, to the extent they remained politically active at all, they became active supporters of Israel and opponents of any effort to express White interests.
This was not accidental. A friend of mine who ran the American Opinion Bookstore in Atlanta secretly taped a planning meeting of JBS at which Nelson Sevier, the State Coordinator newly back from being trained in its headquarters in Belmont, Massachusetts, spoke. In it Sevier explained to the top 4 or 5 “Section Leaders” in Georgia that the primary purpose of Birch Society was to fight racism and anti-Semitism.
This was so because fighting racism and anti-Semitism was the most effective way to go after the Communist conspiracy, the primary purpose of which was to stir up White racism and anti-Semitism.
Sevier explained that Mr. Welch shrewdly put out just enough bait to lure White racists and anti-Semites out so that their influence could be negated once they exposed themselves.
The total impact of the Birch business is staggering when one thinks of how for decades people who were dissatisfied and suspicious were nipped in the bud, misled, and milked of money. Hundred of thousands of people. More than 100 million dollars…and dollars that were the equivalent of several dollars today.
This also took place at a critical juncture, when the race mixing shoe was really pinching the foot.[…]
I attended a big banquet in Atlanta JBS held in honor of Welch. (I was a guest. I never joined JBS.) A woman got up before Welch’s speech who was an amateur singer. She asked everyone to stand for “Mr. Welch’s favorite song.” (He insisted on being called “Mr. Welch” even by people who had known him for decades. Referring to him as “Mr. Welch” was a kind ritual among Birchers.)
I was curious to know what Mr. Welch’s favorite song was. It was a stunner. She belted forth into “The Battle Hymn of the Republic!”
Welch grew up as a small town Southerner in North Carolina four generations ago when the smoke blackened ruins were everywhere. Southerners of his generation detested the song with its gloating references to trompling us out and reading us scripture out of the blazing barrels of guns.
That Welch as a small town Southerner would pick that “filthy abolitionist hymn” as my Father and Grandmother called it betokens a very strange psychology.
This my friends is a perfect example as to why White Nationalism and its godless counterpart Neo-Nazism cannot co-exist with traditional conservatism. For its part, The John Society was and still is, an anti-communist organization. Furthermore, The JBS is an anti-fascist organization as well as an anti-imperialist organization. The JBS simply believes in the Constitution of the United States of America and defends the values that it was simply created upon.
At this point, allow me to point out something: I am NOT a member of the John Birch Society at all; I never have been. I simply happen to agree with the values of the said organization. I, at some point, may join the JBS. However, at this time, my personal financial situation does not allow me to do so.
I will, however, defend this most excellent organization from moronic attacks like this from people who want freedom for people of white skin and see those who are of a different ethnic backgrounds and skin color put into chains. This is an immoral thing and those who do it, should not be allowed to get away with it; no matter what their political or personal agenda or worldview might be. This is called having a backbone and I was born with one and I will use this blog to use that backbone, as I see fit.
Oh this is rich….

via College GOP chairman resigns, joining Democrats:
I over the last 48 hours or so, I have been in deep thought about the future of MFCR and of the Republican Party. I have come to the conclusion that I no longer want to be the leader of the Mississippi Federation of College Republicans. I refuse to simply let people break the rules and think they don’t have to answer for their actions, admit they were wrong, or even apologize. When I ran for Chairman in the spring, I ran to be Chairman of the Mississippi Federation of College REPUBLICANS, not the Mississippi Federation of College “Tea Partiers”. Also, I believe that the Republican Party has allowed these groups of extremist to have too much of a voice and because of that, the platform of the Republican Party has shifted too far to the right in my opinion. For example, the drastic cuts on needed federal funding that these groups of Republican extremists support would leave society weak and crippled. Secondly, their far right stance on immigration is not only ignorant, but it is cruel. After all our country is a nation of immigrants and should welcome immigrants from every country. My father was an immigrant from Cuba and came to America in 1959 because of the freedom that this nation offers. This freedom should be available to each and every individual that wants to come work hard and pursue his or her goals in America. Finally, I believe the Republican Party has not done enough to put a stop to the hatred and cruel words and actions of the far right extremist in the party. The Republican Party consistently says they are trying to appeal to minorities, but this will never happen when we allow members of party to say cruel and ignorant things about Women, African Americans, Hispanics, and other minorities in our country. I simply cannot be apart of organization that have members who support these far right extremist views, much less be the Chairman of the organization. So in conclusion, I, Evan Alvarez, am hereby resigning my position as Chairman of the Mississippi Federation of College Republicans, as well as my membership at the Mississippi State Chapter of MFCR. This change is effective immediately!
This proves that which I have said about that city for a very long time.
The quote via Majority Of Delinquent Detroit Water Customers In Culture Of: ‘You’re Not Making Me Pay,’ Says Deputy Director « CBS Detroit:
The water department states that there are about 60,000 delinquent accounts in the city of Detroit – with the average arrearage about $560.
City of Detroit Water And Sewerage Department Deputy Director, Darryl Latimer, said every account corporate or private is treated the same, adding that the water department does what they can to work with those who come forward and address their hardship situation.
“The majority of our customers (who) are in delinquency status, they just built a culture of ,’You’re not making me pay— I am not going to pay’,” said Latimer.
While this report did not come right out and say it; this is the classic cultural marxist mentality of the left — that somehow or another water service from the city of Detroit is an entitlement and that the people of the City of Detroit have a right to the water. The marxists also portray the city of Detroit as evil, greedy capitalists for demanding that the service of delivering clean and filtered water to the citizens of Detroit be paid for by the people who receive it.
Sorry, but the water that comes from the City of Detroit is not a right; it is a service which you pay for; any middle class person and below knows this; at least those who are sane and pay their bills.
I have to wonder; what would the union workers who are employed by the Detroit water and sewage department, think of these people who want their water for free? I bet they would not have anything good to say about it. My question to the union members is this: Why are you not speaking out about this and bringing up how absurd it is? I mean, if everyone gets free water; who pays the salary of those who work at the Water and Sewage plant? Who pays for the maintenance on the filtration system? Who pays for the maintenance on the water pipes in the city? The list of questions goes on and on…
This is why I happen to believe that these cultural marxists do not live in the same reality that the majority of the rest of America. They live in this false sense of utopia and it is sadly out of reach with the realities of this modern-day. These people do not need to be calling the U.N., they need to be calling the men in the white coats. Because quite frankly, they are crazy! 😯
My the Lord bless this man for telling the truth and standing for what is right.
A snippet via Christian Post: Why Gay-Affirming Christians Cannot Truly Affirm the Full Inspiration of Scripture.
For the last few decades, there have been gay-affirming Christians who reject the full authority of the Bible and who have no problem saying that Moses or Paul were wrong on certain subjects. But it is only in the last few years that there has been a rise in gay-affirming Christians who claim to be orthodox believers in the full inspiration of the Scriptures.
The simple fact is that is impossible to fully affirm the divine inspiration of the Scriptures, which includes a full affirmation of the deity of Jesus, while at the same time claiming that God approves of committed homosexual relationships.
This was the general view of Christians, before the cultural marxists began infiltrating the Churches in the 1960’s. It is quite refreshing to see that someone still believes the Bible as it was intended to be read. May the Lord bless him, greatly.

The story via Fox News:
A 73-year-old Vietnam veteran paid a high price for a free muffin.
Joe Koblenzer says he was fired by a Cracker Barrel restaurant in Florida after he gave a needy person a corn muffin for free, WWSB reported.
Koblenzer, who had been with the eatery in Sarasota for three years, told the station that he was previously written up twice before the muffin infraction: once for having a fountain drink while on duty, and another time for allegedly giving a woman a free cup of coffee. In the latter instance, Koblenzer says the customer paid for the coffee.
Cracker Barrel, however, says the muffin giveaway was Koblenzer’s fifth violation of company policy, which includes not giving away food and not consuming food without paying for it.
Koblenzer told WWSB that on the day he was fired, a man who looked like he may be homeless asked him for mayonnaise and tartar sauce.
“He said he was going to cook fish,” Koblenzer told the station.
Koblenzer said he got the man the condiments, and added a corn muffin to the bag as he handed it over.
The kindness cost the Vietnam vet his job, but he understands why he was fired.
I have news for Mr. Koblenzer; being a United States Veteran does not entitle him to rob a business of its merchandise. Furthermore, being a Military Vet does not entitle him to rob a business of its profits. Here is why I say this: If Cracker Barrel allows this guy to do this; then, they would have to allow ALL of their employees to do such a thing. Then, if word gets out that people who are needy and want free food, can go over to Cracker Barrel and tell a sob story; and they will get free food — this would cause Cracker Barrel to go out of business in short order. The last time I checked, Cracker Barrel is a business and is not a charitable organization like gleaners.
I understand the mans moral argument; but morals are one thing. However, running a business is another entirely. Cracker Barrel is not in the business of feeding the poor; they are in the business of preparing food for customers who have money to buy it. This is why the founder of this business, decided to go into business for himself in the first place!
I noticed the comments of this story at Fox News channel; and the only people who are making an issue of this; are obviously liberals who are anti-business anyhow. Furthermore, I am quite shocked that Fox News even went with this story in the first place. Perhaps Rupert Murdoch’s conservative influence is waning over there.
Again, if the poor want free food; let them get it from organizations who are in the business of providing for the poor; not from a business who are in the business of profit.
I hate to sound like an old curmudgeon; but sometimes, I just think that if you cannot have kids; you should just accept it as God’s will. This is a good reason:
The Story via LifeNews.com:
This story is so heartbreaking and so indicative of the complicated ethical web the fertility industry has spun. Gracie Crane is a UK teenage girl full of angst, but not the kind that troubles most teenagers. She was adopted as a “leftover” IVF embryo. Gracie keenly feels the loss of her genetic roots, but the law in the UK prevents her from ever knowing who her biological parents are. The pain is so acute, some days she says she wishes she were never born.
In-Vitro fertilization, in my humble opinion, is tampering with God’s will. This above is the fallout from that. It’s a sad tale; and one of millions, I would be willing bet. I am all for people having children; the natural way. Not by this method.
Basically, he says that most people in W. Va. are too stoned to even work in the coal mines.
via The Charleston Daily Mail:
CHARLESTON, W.Va. — A comment Rep. Nick Rahall, D-W.Va., made to political blog Politico has sparked fierce backlash from conservative groups.
Rahall, speaking to reporter Erica Martinson for a series on how national policy issues are affecting 2014 midterm elections, said substance abuse is a big reason coal miners can’t find jobs in Southern West Virginia.
“Times are tough,” he told Martinson. “People turn to drugs — no question about it. Our coal companies can’t hire coal miners because they can’t pass a drug test.”
Since the article was published Thursday morning, Rahall’s Republican opponent, state Sen. Evan Jenkins, and other conservative groups such as Americans for Prosperity issued statements calling Rahall’s comments “absurd,” “wrong” and “deeply offensive.”
“As someone who screens and drug tests hundreds and hundreds of coal miners for potential employment in the mines, I can tell you that Nick Rahall’s comments are totally wrong and deeply offensive to the miners with whom I work,” Mike Grose of Elite Coal Services said in a statement issued by the Jenkins campaign.
“Since 2013, out of several hundred potential miners we’ve drug tested, just eight have tested positive. These hard-working men seeking employment are not the drug addicts Nick Rahall’s comments make them out to be.”
Elite Coal Services is one of the state’s leading coal contract labor service companies, recruiting and training miners to fill available positions at surface and underground mine sites across the state. Grose also was interviewed for the Politico piece.
Just a bit more of that, “You didn’t build that!” from the Obama left. What more do people need to see and hear for them to realize that the left is not the party of the working class American people?
