More changes

As you might have noticed, I dumped the previous look. I did so for a reason.

I do love America and all. But, sometimes, flaunting the American look; well, can be a bit odd.

I believe that blogs are about content, content, content, and more content… and not about the header photo, background image or how American-iny it can look.  I did shoot for a red, white and blue look. but, the background would have been — well, plain. So, I tinted it a bit. Hopefully, this works and everyone likes it.

I had gotten some “interesting” link-ins to my blog, from some very interesting places. I do not trust my Government; but I am not in league with Alex Jones or the birther crowd at all. I have said this before; but I believe my imagery around here was giving the wrong impression. Hopefully, this fixes all of that, and the right people start coming around here.

So, I dumped all of that; and put a theme up, that I have seen another well-known blogger uses. It is not perfect, but it will work for what I want to do. I just wish he would share with me, how to make that left sidebar scroll with the rest of the theme. But, he’s ignoring me, like the rest of the “right” I guess.

So, there you go. What I’m doing behind the curtain.

 

 

Silence

Seeing that I am still reeling a bit from my sleeping adventure yesterday and because there really is not anything that I feel the absolute need to write about. I shall be taking a break.

This is while my body tries to figure out when to sleep and when to stay awake.

In the meantime, I will posting links. But don’t expect novels, at least not on this iPod touch.

Just a reminder…..

I do not mind comments, but what I do mind is people who come here with ad hominem attacks.

I ended up having to ban a person from this blog, because of his ad hominem attacks against me in my comments section, on this posting here. I not only banned him from the blog, but I also banned him from viewing the blog as well.

Way I see it, you want to be a jerk? Go start your own blog and be a jerk. Because it is not wanted here. You can disagree with me, all you want; but when you come here with ad hominem attacks, all because I do not tow the line with everyone else in the Blogosphere —- You’re gonna be showed the door. period, end of story. I pay the hosting bill and I can choose what I care to allow here.

About look change

Change?!?! Someone said change?!?! Aaaaah! 😯

I kid, I kid. 😀

Some of you might have noticed that I changed the header photo and the background too. I can do that rather easily now in WordPress without pulling out any of my hair. So, I decided to change things up a bit.

The reason was, well, the site looked a bit…. well, old. I am 40 years old and that old business is great for history and such, but when you’re a bit young for the old fogies look; it gets a bit rough.

So, I changed things up a bit. Put some brighter colors up there. A little pizzazz, if you want to call it that. The last thing I want is a drab looking blog. I mean, I like Jeff’s writings and all; but jebus is that site of his ever drab looking.  I mean, I do not want any sort of seizure inducing stuff; you know something like out of a scary clown horror movie or anything. But, a little color is okay.

I also put a provocative header photo up there. A little swift kick to the jewels of the Democrats and President Obama. I am an agent provocateur for the right, are I not? After all, they did screw this Country into the ground; not to mention what is happening right now.

Is is the age-old argument, and I have heard both sides; content versus design. I believe that a good balance is possible. So, I’ll try this for a while. Once I am happy with it, I will leave it be.

Followup to Previous Posting

Earlier yesterday evening, I wrote that I was basically distancing myself from some on the right.

I want to be clear; I am simply talking about the secular hatemongers over at the blog I mentioned. I did not mean from my personal Conservative convictions, nor my Christian values.

I just wanted to make that clear. I won’t associate with those who are anti-religion or Anti-American Conservative types. Which is what I am, which is why they hate me.

Just letting you all know.

Cutting bait with some on the right.

I hate to even write about this. But, because I think it needs to be said — I am going to say it.

As of now, I disassociate myself with most of the so-called “right.” A little performance tonight by one of the citizens over at Ace of Spades HQ’s yahoo group, confirmed what I have believed about that part of the so-called “right”. They’re just a bunch of secular hatemongers.

I’ve linked to Ace of Spades HQ before, no more. Pam Geller was right about that crowd.  I wish then, that I had listened and just stopped associating myself with them.  But, I do try to get along with everyone. Well, no more. I have decided that getting along is just not something that can be done with those who make it their business to smear and degrade you.

So, as of today; this blog will be only linking to news sites and friendly blogs.

I am also going through the blogroll and getting rid of sites that associate with Ace and his group of haters.

Just an FYI…

Just a little bit of housekeeping and FYI for everyone. As you all know, Adsense did suspend my account. Anyhow, I finally got around to signing up with another Pay-per-click Ad company Adbrite. This will help things around here. I am not allowed to give any direction on the ads at all. But you most likely know what to do. 😉

It helps me, so I do not have to ask my parents to by my medication for ADHD. If I made enough on this blog, I could pay for my Doctor’s visits too. The straight dope on Me and Alex Brant-Zawadzki

I am posting this entry for the benefit of the those who might be searching and might want to put me into cahoots with the left.

This is my total involvement with Mr. Alex Brant-Zawadzki. I wrote a few blog postings here recently, about some people in the blogosphere.  On one of them, Mr. Alex Brant-Zawadzki showed up in my comments section. Anyhow, he came here and left a comment; and surprisingly did not break any rules. I knew he was a Democrat, and I was civil and fair to him. This is how I treat anyone who comments on this blog. My treatment of people who comment here is not partisan based at all. If you can come here and not troll and act like a “richard-head.” I will give you a fair shake.

Yes, I am fully aware of what Mr. Alex Brant-Zawadzki has written around in various places; I also know what has been written by others, about him. For the record, I do not, as they say, “have a dog in the fight.” Personally, I think it is all a bit silly, if you ask me. But, again, that’s politics and that is why I tend to just keep to myself anymore.

Let the public record show, that I did not divulge any information that I would not yell at the top of my lungs on the street corner. Mr. Alex Brant-Zawadzki did write me an e-mail or two, and I wrote him back. If you really must know; I did ask him, if he could get me a writing gig over at Huffington Post. I wouldn’t mind blogging there. Heck, everyone else has, and I have been writing since 2006, I figured, I have earned my dues out here. Mr. Zawadzki told me he would try to talk to someone about it. Although, between you and me; I doubt anything will become of it.  Besides that; I like having my own site. Blogging there, would be, well, someone else’s site.

So, there you have it, the God’s honest truth about what happened with me and this fellow. I did this, before the fault finders start accusing me of stuff that never happened.

All the above is the absolute truth, so help me God.
