A bit of a follow up on a previous posting

I have wanted to write this posting all day, but because my sleeping schedule has been a bit weird here as of late, I did not have the time. Well, now I do and I want to get this out of my system.

As you all know, I wrote retraction here lately about some stuff that I said about a blogger.  I also added her badge to the blog here, as a way, of trying to make up for what I said. The video did it for me; I now fully believe that the woman is truly suffering.

Now, to follow-up; let me publicly say some stuff, that I think that I really need to make clear here. I do not expect her or her friends to suddenly decide that I am the man of the hour and begin linking to me again. Not at all, I totally understand that I said some stuff that really ticked many people off.

I also did not put the badge up there to garner support from her friends either. I simply did it as a token of my Christianity, basically to be charitable to this woman, after I basically repeated some untrue information about her, that quite obviously came from an misinformed source.  If I should get word, that she does not like the idea that her badge is on my site, I shall remove it, no questions asked and no hard feelings toward her either.

For those that might be wondering, “Why?” As I wrote, when I reported Dan Riehl’s sudden illness:

This is the difference between true Christianity and Godless secularism. Christianity says “Do unto others, as you would have them do unto you.” This is done with the hope and prayer that one day; when the chips are down and you find yourself at death’s door, that someone would do the same for you.

This is the reason and the only reason why I am displaying that banner.

Hopefully, this clears up any and all misconceptions.

 

Public Retraction

A while back I wrote some stuff about a Blogger, that I had heard some stuff about.

Well, based upon what I have seen Here and Here, I publicly retract what I wrote about “Zilla, of the Resistance”

Now that I have actually seen the video. I am convinced. To my defense, I just repeated what I was told.

Well, someone was full of crap and I now, and rightly so, feel like the world’s greatest asshole. 🙁

If I had the extra hundred bucks; I would pop it in her tip jar and in Dan’s ; but I do not have it, so I can’t. But those who read this blog can.

So, again, Go and do thou likewise and do it here too.

 

Out for a while today

I shall be out today with my Dad. This blog will be around for as long as I wish to keep it up, my Father will not be.

So, I am going to be out with him until the afternoon sometime. After which I will most likely crash out; as I am going on about 5 hours of sleep and feeling it too! SleepyYawn

I shall resume blogging this evening or tomorrow.

My Official Statement on the firing of ACLJ Attorney James M. Henderson

I have gotten some emails about the firing of ACLJ attorney James M. Henderson, after being exposed as a Homosexual.

I also understand that the FBI is investigating.

Consider this my official statement about these events:

As many of my readers know, I post videos by the website CBNNews.com, which is owned by Christian Evangelist Pat Robertson. Pat Robertson also owns the The American Center for Law & Justice (ACLJ) as well. It is my understanding that one of their lawyers was recently outed by two liberal websites as having possibly sexual activity with a 17-year-old boy. I find this to be quite disturbing news and I applaud Pat Robertson and Ministry of The American Center for Law & Justice and by proxy the Christian Broadcasting Network for the swift action against this man. I make no bones about this: I find the homosexual lifestyle to be absolutely and totally morally reprehensible and when things like this happen, damage is done to the body of Christ and the message of the Gospel of Christ is hindered.

I will continue to post videos by CBNNews.com and I will continue to support the mission of CBNNews.com and the CBNNews service; which is to present World news and events from a Pro-Christian, Pro-Conservative and Pro-Israel perspective.

The only person responsible for the actions of James M. Henderson is in fact —- James M. Henderson. Anyone who says otherwise, is a collectivist or an idiot — or both.

I have returned

Yes, I am back from my time with the Lord,  and I feel a good deal better.

I know that I wrote about not wanting the site to be too American-y looking. But, I did think that over a bit. I believe that I should have something on here to sums up who and what I truly am. You might notice the new background and the header photos that rotate out. I made those. Just little reminders of who I am, and who I represent here in the Blogosphere.  Believe me, when you are fighting the battle, sometimes it is easy to forget who you are, as a Christian and what you represent, and what you represent. This is why I put these up there; so, when I am tempted to stoop to the level of those who are about hate; I can take a step back, look at those photos and use a bit of restraint.

I have failed in that area many, many times and I have the battle scares and the history to prove it. Hopefully from here on out. I can watch myself a bit more closely.

Anyone onward we go… 😀

 

Away with the Lord

I am going to do what I said I was going to do today.  I am going to spend a few hours or more doing something that Christians ought to do more, after all it is Sunday.

I am going to spend some time in the Word of God and in prayer. Something that I really do not do enough of anymore.

I will return either later tonight or tomorrow morning.

Changed the look…..again

I figure before this is over with, my readers are being be ready to strangle me. 😉

But, seriously, I decided to go back to this theme. It’s bright, it’s easy to read and it is quite pretty; I think so anyhow.

As I wrote about my last theme change, I am not looking for the real “American-y” look. Because that tends to send a few messages that I do not support. However, I think the content here will show what I am — not to mention my sidebars.

Last time I ran this theme, it wrecked havoc with my server. I believe they might have fixed the problem. I hope so anyhow! 😯 We will find out. 😀

So, yes, another new theme. This time, 3 columns and the left one actually scrolls. (Why they did that with Ari, I will never understand. 🙄 )

Enjoy the new theme, and pray my server does not flip out.

 

About the new name

First of all, I want to assure my readers that this is not the start of a pattern again for me. I did this stupidity when I first start blogging, changing the name and look every 5 minutes. This is not my intent this time at all.

When I decided to put political byline into inactive status; and then a few days later decided to start a new blog; I came up with the name “Pat’s Thoughts and Rantings” off the top of my head. Well, at first it sounded great, but after awhile, the name began to sound a bit — well, corny. So, I dropped the Pat’s part, because this blogging stuff has never been about me — and kept the name Thoughts and Rantings. Even then, the name sounded a bit clunky and I really never was happy with it.

I wanted to call it The Americanist; but there is already a blog out there called by that name. So, I cannot call it that. So, I have decided to call my blog something that accurately describes what it is that I truly am; A Thinking Americanist. I love this Country and I believe that this Country is the greatest on this earth. I believe in defending her and the ideals that she does truly represent. The ideas of Freedom, Justice and the ability to pursue one’s dreams.

Furthermore, I believe that America is, and should always be the leader of the Nations and other Nations should aspire to be like us. Not the other way around. Some people would say that I am a Nationalist. I will accept that title, if you should so wish to give that to me. Although, I will mention that I, in no way, shape or form; endorse White Nationalism, Neo-Nazism or any of the other bigoted idiocy out there. I simply am someone who loves God and my Country.

It was that flag, the old stars and stripes —- that many men have fought on many lands, foreign and domestic to keep us free; from the evil hands of tyranny and hate.  Free for those who wanted to take this Country over for some very evil purposes. It is out of respect of those people, like my great-uncle, the late John Franklin Hayes of Dalton, Georgia —- of whom received a purple heart and a silver star for his bravery in Germany during World War 2; that I run this blog and continue to fight for the values that he believed in and went to off to war to fight for.

That, and that solely alone is why I continue to write here on this blog.  Because I happen to believe that this Nation can do better, than accept the fate that those in the Democratic Party wish to consign this Nation to; which is a Nation of slavery to big Government.

Now about the first part of the name; thinking. One of the best things ever said about this Country is that we have became of Nation of sheep. Following our leaders by the nose and not thinking for themselves. I do fully admit to being one of those sort of people for a very long time of my life. It was in 2007, when I really began to have some serious doubts about the direction of the Democratic Party and the direction in which they wished to take this Country.

Because of that and because of the Democratic Party’s despicable treatment of our Military, not to mention a myriad of other reasons; is why I simply decided that my days as a Democratic Party voter where over. I simply could not think like they did any longer and not look myself in the mirror and sleep at night. Self-deception is not something I do well at all.

For now, the new name will exist at this address. At some point, I will register a new domain and move this blog to it and allow the old one to expire. But for now, I will just use this domain.

This should not be considered a new blog; but rather a new chapter in my journey into the world of American politics.
